"Some kind of enchanted song?" Dez said with all kinds of random Ideas floating through her head

"Well, she's not really bad, right? I would think she'd bake him something really nice and so heart-breaking that he couldn't help but eat it, and there'd be love potion inside." He frowned. "Or then again, maybe she couldn't take it and did a Romeo and Juliet thing... only Romeo's was against his will."

Nikki sits back at thinks about the question and finally raises her hand " She could have given him a potion to make anyone else around him appear ugly and horrible except herself. This could have been a way to lure him back to her and make him realise that he only really loves her." Nikki then thought for a second and the quickly blurted our “or she could have shrunken a certain body part’

Hepzibah smiled happy with the class she got to substitute, "You all have marvellous imaginations and ideas and you all shall receive 2 points, I am going to give Gany, correct me if I am wrong dear, 5 points for a creative and relevant story. Cats are always associated with us."

"The real answer is she used voco solutio, does anyone know what this is?" Hepzibah asked her final question hoping to get onto the potion afterward.

Dez raised her hand "Some sort of love potion?" she said

"Is it a summoning solution?" Erinelle asked curiously.

Nikki raises her hand. "I think is has something to do with finding. Maybe it will help her husband find what he once felt for her.'

Dis raised her hand. "I'm guessing it all has some kind of Latin stem, perhaps some kind of vocal solution, or musical solution since voco can be a derivation of a type of music and solutio is a cognate."

Torie frowned. "Summoning payment?" She puzzled over the odd translation, yet was excited to use her latin skills in the magical world. "Either that or summoning free. I'm not really sure of a good english equivalent to those words."

"All wonderful answers," Hepzibah smirked, "But Erin is the one who is correct. 2 points to you dear and well done Nikki for getting close!"

She tapped the board with her wand and the notes they made in class turned into 2 steps. "In my classes I believe in giving the ways of making a potion a couple of steps at a time, so there is no rush and we all can work at the same pace and help each other out. So try these two steps and call out 'Heppy!' if you get stuck or need help."

Dez looked at the board inquizitivly. She shrugged it off and went to filling her cauldren. While it was boiling she started to cut up the ginger root.

Torie took out her potion supplies and set them onto the table in front of her. She placed everything in neat orderly positions before beginning in order to ensure that she had enough space to work. She filled her gleaming cauldron half full with water and added the heat needed to bring it to a boil. In the meantime, she took some ginger roots, and one at a time, chopped them finely into tiny pieces. Once the water was boiling, she added the ginger, inhaling the pungent, yet pleasant, scent. Her nose tickled a bit and she scratched it absentmindedly as she waited for her potion to turn to the require transparent grey. Shortly after adding the ginger, it did and she sat back on her chair, pleased with herself for being successful so far. Looking around the classroom, she waved to her friend Erinelle before turning her attention back to the substitute potion Mistress.

Nikki was so excited over recieving points..She got to work on her potion. After waiting for her waler to boil, she chopped up the 4 ginger roots into small pieces and contributed it into the solution and watched the potion take a transparent, grey colour.

"Nice cuts dear," Hepzibah said to the Slytherin girl as she walked around observing. "It appears we have our first person finished already! Well done child," she congratulated the Gryffindor. "Take your time dears. No need to hurry!"

Dez nodded as the professor walked by. She added he ginger root to the potion and checked it to make sure it was turning gray-ish.

Natalie filled her cauldron half way and brought it to the right temperature to boil. She then cut 4 ginger roots neatly into tiny pieces and sprinkled them into the solution. She smiled as the solution came to the right transparant, grey colour.
She cleaned up her supplies and waited for further instructions.

Erinelle grinned, realising that she must have been the 'Erin' who had got it right, it was a nickname of hers. She got out her things and took out her wand, setting up her cauldron. She aimed her wand at the cauldron and filled it halfway to the top before grabbing the ginger roots.

She waved back at Torie and noticed Dis's look she raised her eyebrow in reply, she was a little stunned that she'd got it right. Latin was a strange language.

Sakura set up her cauldron and poured water halfway into it, next setting up the temperature to have it boil. Then, she took out four of her ginger root and cut them neatly and put then into the solution. She sat down and waited for the next step.

"All these potions are looking wonderful. Hogwarts certainly has some talented students! Professor Branxton will be pleased to hear of your hard work. We shall continue as soon as the rest catch up, not too long now," Hepzibah reassured the class.

Kerry had been wondering where this class was going with the story Professor Hart had told, but she was glad to be moving on to the potion as it was all beginning to make sense now.

Kerry took out her cauldron and did as instructed, filling it half way with water, and then slowly brought it to a boil. Then Kerry reached into bag of potion ingredients and took out 4 ginger roots. Cutting them into fine pieces, Kerry sprinkled the pieces into the boiling water and watched as it did as Professor Hart had said it would, - it took on a grey transparent color. Kerry then sat back and awaited further instruction.

Erinelle continued to pretty much chop the ginger roots into nothingness and just sprinkled it all over her water that was currently boiling and waited for it to turn that grey colour it was supposed too. She looked at it, not too sure what it was supposed to be doing, because it was taking it's time going grey.

Hepzibah came across to impatient looking Erin's potion, "Ah dear, it has changed color it is just that you cannot see the effects because you have not cut up enough ginger." Hepzibah took the girls knife and some ginger root she had in her pocket for spares and cut down hard on the root till it was all in tiny pieces. She sprinkled them into the potion and it turned its transparent grey soon enough, "There we are."

Erinelle looked on as the Salem Professor began to help her out with her potion, she figured that the idea of it not having enough root made a lot of sense and she cocked her ebony haired head to the side thoughtfully. "That works," She smiled, "Thank you...Heppy," She said, thinking that to call a Professor by their first name was very strange, but whatever suited them. She smiled gratefully at her once more, she really did like these visiting Professors.

Trelane set his cauldron to boil then started cutting his ginger. He carefully cut off the bulbous areas, sliced them all seperately until they looked like little sticks, the brought them all together to cut them into cubes. Thinking they weren't small enough he diced at them a bit. He looked into the cauldron to see if it was boiling. Once it did he sprinkled a little ginger in at a time until it was gray. "That is so cool..."

A tapping sound came from the front of the room and it was Hepzibah banging frantically on the desk with her wand to the tune of Mary had a little lamb. "I think you all have done marvellously with your potions so far and I applaud you," she said clapping her hands proudly at the students.

"You have done so well that I am going to give you the other six steps to work on by yourselves and you can just call out 'Heppy!' and I am to your rescuse," she snickered as she thought of herself flying about in a superman outfit like the muggles enjoyed. She tapped her wand on the board again and the rest of the steps appeared.
