Concentrate on the air coming in your nose and out your mouth. Concentrate on how each vertebrate is stacked on top of the next in a beautiful long line..." She took a deep breath along with them. "Now concentrate on the wand in your hand. Firm grasp, but loose enough to have motion. Don't clutch it like a life line. Let it be an extension of your arm."

Serena smiled as Professor Rae instructed them to relax. As she copied her movements, she felt almost renergized. She would definitely have to do this the next time she felt tense. She held her wand gently, but firmly, concentrating on clearing her mind.

"Now, without saying the incantation, I want you to wave your wand in an arching motion across your body. Start high and cross your body to end low on your wand side. Practice it slowly before you can pull it off full speed... and there should be a nice wand flick right at the end... that's where you shoot from... and that's where you'll need to aim from. Make sure that motion ends somewhere comfortable for you to aim and cast from."

Victoira sighed, finally. She turned around as to not face any of the students. Lifting up her arm she did as the Professor Rae had said. She slowly had the wand cross her body, making the movement arch as well. When the wand reached a low point she flicked her wrist and practiced aiming the wand. Victoria did this many times for practice.

"Good... now you're ready to put all the steps together. Find a partner and you may practice the spell on each other. Remember... expelliarmus is a disarming spell. You will lose your wand, but it won't go far. The better you get at the spell, the closer that flying wand will come to flying right into your own hand, but I don't expect any of you will get to that any time soon. Please watch your step and keep an eye out for flying wands. I don't want any broken wands or poked out eyes because of carelessness. Take turns. I'll answer any questions you have as I circulate."

Erin listened closely to the professor's instructions. She practiced the wand movement across her body, and tried to relax and end in a position she could aim from. It took a few tries, but the wand movement slowly started to feel more natural.
