Jo grabbed her bag and left with Meghan.

"Now, where were we. Yes, rhythm. In the course of your life you're going to be asked to go to many formal occassions and events. Usually at these events it is likely there will be dancing and fine dining. Just to break the ice and so you all can have a chance to rub elbows with a man such as myself, I'd like to teach you all the two step."

Lord Borr cleared his throat. "Let me demonstrate." He stepped to the left twice, then the right twice and followed it with a squatting move and a rear thrust backwards. "I don't expect any of you to be as good or as rhythmic as I, but you all can give it a try. Do you need to see it again? Go ahead and try!" He was out of breath as he finished up.

Julie glared eyed open at the lordship alien as he danced. She was 12, what ballroom is he talking about. She stood there learning his steps and turned to sabrina and romey hoping they could make some sense out of it. He looked like a clabbert jumping around.
Julie looked at the bright side of it, maybe mithos will dance with her, if the alien descided they would be dancing in pairs.
She started mimicking the lordship aliens movements in hope to make sense of them.

Sebastian tried the small movement and was surprised that he caught on so quickly. Perhaps this was his talent, over History of Magic.

Why did this man insist on teaching things Linnea herself had been taught at home? No matter, at least she knew she would do well in his classes. It was, however, a matter of gravest self-control that prevented her from laughing at the man.

Gracefully, she copied Borr's movements, eventhough they were not quite right.

Sabrina glanced at Julie and decided that she should try it. She moved a little aways, so she wouldn't bump into anyone and stepped two times to the left, two times to the right, and then did the last movement. Ah, pretty good she thought with a small smile.

Kay watched Lord Borr's demonstration of the two step with a straight face. She thought that she had the steps down and tried the two step for herself. Her movements were a little bit stiff, but she copied the dance steps just as Borr had demonstrated even though she was not as graceful as he was.

Sveta's jaw dropped as the older man thrusted out his bottom. Her face was red as she tried to resist the urge to laugh. Moving gracefully she stepped left twice then right twice squatted down and thrusted her bottom out as far as it would go.

Mithos watched Lord Borr in the middle of the room behind a Ravenclaw thinking why in the world Borr existed there had to be a meaning for him to exist a really good one too. He looked around the room for anyone he knew to share of the pain.

Julia raises her left eyebrow at Borr. What on earth... she thinks to herself, trying not to laugh. Trying to do the best she can to imitate Borr, she ends up getting frustrated and making up her own dance. "I call this the Bugs Bunny," she whispers to the girl next to her, as she does motions as if she's eating a carrots and hopping like a bunny at the same time.

Noticing she's not behaving like she was trying to achieve, she stops and does the first part where she steps to the left twice. "Excuse me Lord Borr, but I can't seem to get it right. Could you please demonstrate it again? After all, none of us are at all as rhythmic as you, sir," Julia says, her voice confident as she gives Borr a brilliant smile to show she's trying.

Since her bottom was out anyway Sveta began shaking her hips and moving her arms up and down in a muggle dance from the early nineties called The Monkey. She wasn't really paying attention to the class anymore and was just off in her own boogy world.

Yurio reductantly followed "Lord" Borr's... dance movments, well if thats what you could call dance. He wanted to make up for any points his fellow Hufflepuff had lost but his face was burning with anger by how Borr had treated that Hufflepuff girl. He didnt know her name but she was in his house and thats what mattered to him.

Gaby's sister had warned her about Professor, she means Lord Borr, and his unstable nature. But Terry's description of him had not prepared Gaby for the real thing. She starts laughing uncontrolable at Lord Borr's attempt at ball room dancing. It was on the tip of her tongue to ask what this had to do with History of Magic. "Lord Borr, if your going to continue with Professor Lainey's class plan for this term, I think we should be covering King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table. I don't think they did the two step in medieval England, Sir."

Selena looked at the class while they failed the two step miserably! Trying not to be that noticable Selena joined in with the dancing.

Romy shook her head. She looked at Borr as he was hopping around and called it dancing. She shrugged and tried to copy the steps. It was better as she expected. So and now? she thought. What he want us to do next? Singing a praises of him?

Adrienne looked at Borr as if he were crazy. 'What does rhythm have anything to with the history of magic?' she thought. She sighed and rolled her eyes. She decided to participate, for her house. She copied the moves of Borr, glad she had taken dance when she was younger. The dance was hard to do in her heavy school robes. She felt her face flush, she had never liked dancing in front of people, but, again, she was vigilant for the sake of her house. She looked over at Selena. She hoped she didn't start anything. Adrienne had had enough. She wanted what little normality she had had to begin with.

At her seat, Lala was a bit awed that a professor could be really mean and quite different compared to other porfessors she'd been with. She sat quietly and tries hard to listen and undrestand their new professor.

David raised a questioning eyebrow at their new History of Magic professor's.....odd assignment. He looked around the room and saw that a few others were baffled as well. What is this bloke playing at? he thought. Teaching us dancing! I tell you, what next, having tea parties!

Professor Hutchinson knocked lightly on the open door before entering and stood next to the entrance rooted in shock at the sight of the students doing some sort of movement that she guessed qualified as a dance. She reached for the note that was pinned to her office door and read it again stopping at the name signed at the bottom, Lord Berty Borr. Glancing back up at the class, it was a cinch that she didn't need three guesses to figure out who this Lord Borr was. The professor shook off her immediate desire to leave the classroom at once and instead, approached Borr as he gazed at the class doing the convulsive dance moves.

"Uh, Professor, pardon me for interrupting your class, but would you care to explain this note I found pinned on my office door?"

With that, she handed him the note she held in her hand and waited to see what would happen.

Astoria snorted as 'Lord' Borr did the dance horribly. She shook her head and massaged her temples. She didn't expect this to happen again. She never thought that Boor would even be allowed to teach another class. There was definitely something up. She put away her book and groaned. She kind of knew they wouldn't be using textbooks that were meaningful today.

Rose tried to do as Lord Boring instructed, and got it on her first try. She did it over and over again and she got really into it and began break dancing! A song was playing in her head and she was dancing to the beat.

Jen's jaw dropped as 'Lord Borr' made some sort of movement that was supposed to resemble dancing. She had seen blind elephants with more coordination than this man. It was a struggle to keep herself from vomitting right then and there.

When Professor Hutchinson entered the classroom Jen shot a pleading look in her direction. Not that there was much the professor could do, but it was more of a reflex than anything.

It took all of Jen's self-control not to run out of the room screaming.

Davina looked into the class room.She was glad she left that joke of a class,if you could call it that.

Christy shook her head and sighed. She knew Borr was a peculiar and very weird Caretaker but, this was too much. Borr was now 'Lord' Borr, he was a teacher he should act like one and he should continue with Professor Lainey's class plan. Christy sighed once more and hoped Professor Hutchinson would stop 'Lord' Borr and his dance.

'What does rhythm have anything to with the history of magic, anyway...?' she thought.

Rosa was still wondering too much about Fox's appearance in the classroom to care about the dancing very much. She just strode sideways and backwards. Rosa never really enjoyed dancing. She always had the idea other people were looking at her and she always forgot what she was supposed to do and in what order. Her steps were as stiff as they could possibly be and a lot too slow, but she couldn't care less. She was thinking about Fox. His name made her suspect he was sly. And his behaviour did too. She was quite sure he'd taken that note just as an excuse to visit borr's class, but why? and why did Lord borr always have to learn them such useless things?

She was just thinking that when professor Hutchkinson entered with another note. So it wasn't just professor Fox... She moved her toes over her ankle several times to untie her shoelace and then made the paces again, but ridiculously unstiff this time and making sure she tripped over her shoelace. She scrambled up and took the time to tie her shoelace while professor Hutchkinson showed borr the note.
