She cracked a smile at Professor Hutchinson's comment. She couldn't believe that she was actually humoring him. Professor Hutchinson was a much better person than she was. She couldn't stand this man and had half a mind to leave the class right away, but she decided to bite her tongue and stay, under the heavy threat of losing house points.

Lord Borr's eyes were stuck on the Professor before him. He'd never seen anyone so beautiful in his whole life! That was really saying something considering how important he was and how many people he knew. Lord Borr got down on one knee, his pants splitting more, and offered her a hand. "My lady, you eat a cookie like no other woman I've ever seen!" he whispered in pure marvel.

Linnea looked back at the Blinking Julia. What had Borr done? Right before he got all fun.........The Cookies! She glanced around the floor, yes, there were some. She pulled out a handkerchief and silently accioed crums over to it. After stockpiling enough for maybe half a cookie, as crums had fallen from Borr's on hanky, she quietly folded her handkerchief up and placed it into her pocket.

Lord Borr blushed. "Call me Berty," he said, taking her hand and kissing the top of it with his fat lips and bushy goatee. "I know that I am pretty spectacular in everything I do. It's a gift I was born with and have lived with all my life. But, you my fair flower, have beaten me in the contest." He snuggled her hand against his face, slobber and cookie crumbs going everywhere.
Even though Lord Borr had found a woman that could give even Melita a run for her cookies, he hadn't forgotten about his job and class. "Class - partner up! We're going to dance!"
Lord Borr offered the lovely Professor his hand. "Would you dance with mee, my lady?"

This was probably a worse memory in Linnea's mind than the lobster incident from two terms ago. Sabrina's mouth dropped open as she looked at the two professors. "Oh, my..." She stared down at the desk and thought hard. The cookies she thought and looked up in time to see Linnea summon some crumbs into a napkin. Well, that explains the weird behavior with the compliment, but it doesn't get him off the hook for being so rude earlier today! she thought indignantly.

Hutchinson blushed and giggled at Borr's compliment and the offering of a dance. She was never going to forget this moment for as long as she lived, the first time she met the man of her dreams.
"Yes, I'd be delighted...Berty. A dance would be wonderful."
She took his hand and allowed him to lead her to the middle of the classroom as she stared at his handsome masculine features and caressed his hand. She couldn't believe how handsome he was, how perfect this moment was. She was quite possibly the luckiest woman on the face of the planet. | |
