Welcome to Charms! You enter the old classroom to find it looking the same as always. All the desks are facing the front of the classroom, and sitting on each one is an ordinary, everyday object. Some desks have plates, some have teacups, some books and quills. Pick a seat and the professor will be in soon.
OOC: Feel free to RP yourself into the classroom, but try to keep chatting to a minimum. I'll be back in about half an hour to begin the lesson. | |

"Engorgio!" Jessica prounounced in a loud, clear voice, raising her wand and bringing it slowly lower till it faced her cup directly. A rather loud bursting sound swept her off her feet. She jumped up in alarm, only to see her cup shattered into pieces.
"Reparo!" She said quickly, picking up the now-mended cup off the floor and placing it back on her desk-top. She jerked her wand up from the floor, which had fallen in all her confusion and, sweeping back her flaming red hair, gave the enlargement charm another try.
"Engorgio!" She said, pointing her wand at the cup. This time, no perplexing noises followed. The cup slowly and neatly grew larger by serval inches.
Satisfied, she tried again. Once. Twice. Thrice.
It was working as nicely as she could have hoped...She beamed at her cup, raising her wand once more for another try.

Alex watched Jessica’ first attempt at the charm. Disastrous, he thought as he stared at his cup. The next was better.
“Good work,” he told her as he pointed his own wand at his cup and muttered “Engorgio” the Cup trembled and nearly fell off the desk. However, it soon began to grow – slowly at first then in a hastier manner.
After making it larger by a few inches, it stopped. Alex looked cheerfully at it as he gave the spell another try. | |

"You too," Jessica told Alex truthfully, interestedly watching his try at the Charm. They went considerably well, now she came to think of it.
Her wand was still in the air and the teacup peacefully lying in front of her. One more try wouldn't hurt, surely?
"Engorgio."
She had been slightly anxious about things going wrong and in all her worry, had said it too enthusiastically - But it all seemed to happen as good as she could have hoped it to be. The cup began to grow rapidly ----
--- She waited for it to stop growing.
It didn't.
One foot tall.
Two feet tall.
Three feet tall.
OOPS!!!!!!
In a state of frenzy and not wishing to draw unfavourable attention towards her, she jerked her wand muttering all the spells she knew.
The cup burst again.
Sighing heavily, Jessica repaired it once more with a swift flick of her wand and got to work again. Slowly, her charming skill improved, and no further unpleasant incidents occurred.

Alex merely looked amused as the cup grew taller and taller, knowing Jessica well enough to be sure she would sort it out. However, she seemed in a tate of absolute panic. Then there was an explosive sound and the cup burst. In another second, it was its usual "self" again.
Shaking his head, Alex turned back to his own cup.
"Engorgio!" he said, wand above cup. It grew alright.
He muttered the countercharm and and it shrank back to its normal size. | |

Jessica seemed to be making much headway with the charm. She was slowly but surely getting better.
"Engorgio!"
Once again, She cast the spell and watched her cup grow. she hadn't shrunk it back to its normal size even once during the whole lesson. It was by now the tallest and largest in the class. She beamed at it before turning to Alex and whispering:
"Hey, Lexy, want to compete with me? --- First one to reach three feet's height wins."

Alex thought about it for a moment. He knew Jessica was sure to win - she was way better at Charms than him --- But he'd give it a try. It wouldn't hurt, would it?
"Okay, girl, you've got a deal," he said resolutely. Fixing his gaze on his cup, he drew out his wand and muttered the required incantation. Slowly, he watched his cup grow. | |

Jessica quickly turned to her cup, and said "Engorgio." She just had to win over Alex.
Her cup grew quickly, till it was nearly two feet again. Looking around and lowering her wand for a moment, she saw Alex's was still shorter than hers. She swiftly turned back to her own teacup.

Alex saw that Jessica had taken over him already. Shrugging, he cast the spell once more, wishing the cup would grow more quickly.

Before she knew it, Jessica's glaass was three feet tall.
"Ha!!!" she thought triumphantly, showing it wordlessly to Alex.
Shrinking it back to its normal size, she turned to him and said: "I win Alex. Admit it."

Jessica smiled at his fake new intonatio nand then turned her attentio nto her cup once more. She cast the spell on it yet again and watched, satisfied, as it grew larger; before she shrank it back, smaller than she had intended to. She returned it to its normal size with the engorgment charm.

Christy kept practising the Engorgio and Reducio spells. Minutes later, she was starting to make them perfectly and the tea cup had already shrieked and grew lots of times to lots of differents sizes. She wrote down some notes and read her textbook to make sure she was executing her spell right. She knew that with practise she would do the spells perfectly.

Elizebeth smiled and pocketed her wand. Her object, (a evil red rubberduck) had sussefully been enlarged and reduced 5 times. She took out her notes and wrote down what was happening, what she did, and all about the spells.

Practicing more at Reducio spell, she tried to pronounce it correctly pointed it to her tea...After three trials, she succeeded for the first time to reduce her tea... its now half-of its original size. " Great! cool  "Lala said... she casted an Engorgio spell on it four times... so she can practice again the Reducio spell for three trials...
