Welcome to Charms! You enter the old classroom to find it looking very different from usual. There are still desks for all the students to sit in, but standing on every desk is a miniture door, about a foot tall. As always, take a seat and wait patiently for the professor to show up.

OOC: Feel free to RP yourself into the classroom, but try to keep chatting to a minimum. I'll be back in about half an hour to begin the lesson.

Evy raised her hand. "Professor? I have a question. Is it more effective if we point our wand at the key hole rather than in the general direction of the door?"

"Oh, well, I guess I'd practice somemore," Eunice thought to herself. She tucked away her notes and took up her wand again.

She aimed it at the door, saying, "Alohomora." It opened with a click. Next, she tried "Colloportus," which, to her disappointment, only half-worked. Sighing, she practiced it again.

Sebastian sighed and closed the book, pulling his wand out again. He muttered both spells again and both were successful. He was surprised at how quickly he had caught on, considering he first attempted had almost burnt a whole in the desk.

Yashu tries again. He concentrates on the door and says;
"Colloportus!" He stays in the same position and says;
"alohomora!"

Sirien started again, "colloportus!" then, starting to get bored said the opposite. "Alohamora!" and repeated the process.

"For Colloportus, it doesn't matter, because you are sealing the door, not locking it. For Alohomora, it will make a slight difference depending of whether you are simply unlocking or reversing some locking spell. When I do them, I just point at the door, not the lock, but if it helps you concentrate more on the spells, then you might as well."

Jake kept doing the spell over and over. He felt he had got the hang of it.. " Alohomora. " He said. The door unlocked with a click.. "Colloportus. " and the door an unsealed.

Heshasa picked up her wand cleared her throat and concentrated on what she wanted. Pointing her wand at the door she claerly said Alohomora. The door creaked open giggling with delight that she had for once suceeded on ehr first try Heshasa continued to practice one at a time sealing and unsealing the door until she could sucessfully lock and unlock the door silently.

"Oh ok. Thanks professor." She nodded at the teacher.

She then took her wand and performed the spells again, this time concentrating on the key hole when she used the unlocking spell. Although she had been successful before, she found that it was much easier when she did so. Great, she thought.

Kali already knew the unlocking spell from previous years' lessons. As for Colloportus, it took her a several minutes to get that one down pat.

Talons sighed and took out her wand again. She pointed it at her door again and lazily said "Colloportus, Alohomora, Colloportus, Alohomora, Colloportus, Alohomora, Colloportus, Alohomora, Colopariatusaaaargh!!" The door burst into three foot tall blue flames. Talons hastily scooted her chair back so she wouldn't get burned. She watched the flames, eyes wide. Then suddenly the flames receded and there was the door looking as though nothing had happened. I guess i shouldn't do that... she thought. Talons looked around to see if anyone saw what had happened, although she was sure everyone had-- blue flames just don't erupt in the middle of class all the time.

OK thought Romy try it once more and she said Alohomora but she was surprised thedoor was still locked. She concentrate and said: alohomora but the door doesen't move. She shook her head one more time and alohomora and this time the door was unlocked.

"Colloportus" Taylor said. He heard a small clicking sound that meant the door was unlocked. "Alohomora, he bellowed. He pushed the door and it opened. He had done it!
