aka Sniv Sniv is posted in dark red and, as usual, Kris is posted in green. I love MSN lol Oh yeah; me too. And the new beta is fun. Lol That will be the first question: what is your favorite IM program? LOL LOL ...msn! Of course. The new winks and nudges are too cute. Yeah...Ebony Wandson on SS calls the nudge... eye washing machine or something - they can make one rather dizzy. LOL
Well, let's get into it: Who are you and what are you doing on SS right at this moment? I’m Sniv *waves* aka *Snivellus*. I live in Denmark (bah ) and I’m reading Serena's post on OCFC. lol Why bah? Denmark seems like such an exotic place for someone from New England. LOL (I know nothing about Demark) LOL! Well you wouldn't say that if you lived here! It’s cold and rainy and there is a seriously lack of HP merchandise - but thanks to my great friends from SS (and other places) I’m having my share of the HP merchandise. *evil grin* Oh that's awesome! (about your friends online helping you) lol yeah Im so amazed how generous people can be! *hugs them all* The cold and rainy, though... I prefer cold and snowy. Yeah ...rain is just blah ... New England sounds much better *pouts* Personally, I love New England and wouldn't live anywhere else (New Hampshire is awesome) but, it is one of the most expensive areas to live in the country.
But, enough about me... So, even with the lack of HP merchandise, you still managed to snag a copy of the book. Why don't you tell us a little bit about how your love for HP began? ...lol Well my obsession began after a watched the first film *hangs head* Yes I was not one of those who read the books before the films... But anyways, I watched it and I really liked the atmosphere and the ...I think it was Maggie Smith (in an interview on one of the HP DVDs) who said that it was a magical place to be in because the magic never really goes away and I think that captures how I felt about the film... and well after watching it I just had to read the books and find more about you know *coughSnapecough* and well that’s kinda it lol... Were you an Alan Rickman fan before you saw HP? Well actually no - Not like I’m now... I knew who he was and I thought he was an amazing actor, but it wasn’t like now ...lol He was actually one of the reasons why I wanted to watch PS...lol So was he the reason you started to like Snape? lol hmm no - I think one has to remember there is a big difference between Snape canon and Snape film...Snape in the books are much younger and well...you know lol For me its only a big plus that its Alan Rickman who plays Snape in the films. What did attract you to Snape, then? (I love doing interviews with Snape fans) lol well the "usual" stuff you know; his past, his present, his future *tries to make it short* You know I love his humour and his...well him. One tends to just say he is black and white but there are some important shades there too lol... (really Kris  ) You dont' have to worry about being short. I enjoy promoting Snape fandom. And we all love dark mysterious men...*innocent eyes* and he is well in my opinion he is one. LOL I certianly do and he certianly is. *Snape fans unite* *waves Snape banner* Well, I guess we already let the cat out of the bag as to who your favorite character is so, let's move on to your least favorite character... lol really was it that obvious? Hm my least...Umbridge is definitely on my list and Fudge too...Umbridge because she brought a new kind of evil to the HP universe and Fudge for having his head ... somewhere it shouldn’t be! Wormtail, too because he betrayed his friends! *pokes them all* And of course Bellatrix! lol Wow quite many huh? lol There are a lot of characters that aren't very nice in HP, to say the least. LOL lol yeah and I just realised that I dislike quite a few. LOL
Which was your favorite book? hm I really don’t know...I kinda have fave bits instead lol...I’m terrible at choosing! But I think that PoA really kicked the series off ...GoF maybe...lol You can just give the favorite bits if you want; that counts. lol lol thanks. Hm I really liked GoF there are many scenes there which are cool - my fave in GoF is the one in the Hospital Wing in the end...(where Snape shows his Dark Mark) ooo... nice... Any other favorite bits from the other books you'd like to share? hm The Shrieking Shack scene is the best -I couldn’t stop reading when I came to that part in PoA...and I really enjoy Arthur Weasley in CoS when he meets Hermione's parents (he is soo funny when he gets all excited about Muggles) ... I wanna say something smart but my mind is blank *sobs* lol Aw... I'm sure you'll come out with something profound, I just need to ask the right question... lol My English kinda fails me at times lol... I think you're doing rather well, actually.
Speaking of English, what languages do you speak? And aren't you a language mod of some sort? lol thanks  I’m speaking English, German, Spanish and Danish and you are right - I’m the Danish forum mod *beams* What do you do as a language mod? Nothing much really since there is not that many Danes on here, but I’ve translated the SS rules etc. Every language mod has to do that I think... But I think it’s a great idea to have these language forums because its so great to be able to speak Danish on SS lol Did you read HP in Danish (is it translated into Danish?) or English? I read them in Danish up until GoF -I had to wait for OotP (because JK wouldn’t let me get a peak!) and when that came out I read it in English...The English versions are sooo much better than the Danish. I respect the Danish translator but having read HP in English I must say that I’m a bit disappointed in the way she translated certain things...But then again it must be hard to translate something like HP ...all the funny names and words... That's really interesting, it's amazing how much can get innocently lost or changed in translation. Being multilingual must come in handy for that. Yeah you are right! All in all she did a great job (I read an article once where she talks about translating the Harry Potter books and she said she had many pages with words etc. to help her remember how she translated a certain spell last time, for example). And really, its good for kids to have it in Danish but well what can I say- the English HP books are much better! Also, because the English language is so much "richer" than the Danish. Having read many FFs I know this... LOL
Do you write any of your own fanfic? I tried (got great help from Madmiss88 aka Bun) but I gave up because its actually much harder than one would think!!! lol LOL *pets* thanks lol Hmm... I've gotten way off my normal track and don't know where I am anymore. LOL Let's see... we talked about you and we talked a bit about HP so, we still have to talk about SS (though we sort of did that already). Anyway *finishes talking to herself* You mentioned that you really liked having the language forums on SS; is there anything else you'd like to see added/taken away/improved on to make your experience even better? *giggles* Ahem well...I’m quite content with the way it is at the moment... I really enjoy the FF section and of course the OCFC. And the theory/discussion forum is great too! So my answer would be no...I cant put a finger on anything at the moment. Alright then, I guess there's just a few more questions I have. Well, this next one isn't mine, it's the previous Member of the Week, CrazyMoonyFan's, question: "If you received the acceptance letter to Hogwarts what would you do? And what would be the first thing you did when you arrived?" If I received the acceptance letter I would probably laugh! Because I would think it was a prank from one of my loony friends! After realising that it was real I would probably explode and jump around. The first thing I’d do was probably...honestly I think I would seek out Snape and just watch him. lol See what he is like on my own and not from Harry's point of view (not saying that his appearence would change but still could be fun!) oooo... definitely. Snape watching.... mmmm.... LOL! I could have you in my pocket Kris...*winks* OMG! Are you serious? *faints* We should bring Emma, too... LOL! And Karen! *plotting and planning* That would rock. It sure would! ...or maybe I would just walk around the corridors of Hogwarts ...hm lol Now it's your turn: what would you like to ask the next MotW? *deep breath* Ok...(Im so bad at this lol)
-If you could make one of the HP characters register on SS who would you chose and why?- ooooooooooooooooo… that's a good one! *coughSnapecough* Seriously??? Thanks. I so would too but then again he would just hexed us all!!! LOL- he'd probably be one of the last people to ever register for SS. Yes! LOL ...but then again maybe he should try! He would sure be surprised! *knows he is not real* I think Arthur Weasley would be the first to sign up. LOL Oh yeah good ole Arthur! Him and his plug collection. tee hee
Okay, we're down to the final question: If you were a dessert what kind of dessert would you be? Id probably be a Sundae...from McD lol Im quite addicted to those! Well, they do say that you are what you eat. LOL (What flavor ice cream?) ...flavour? Hm...choco-co-co lol (in English - Chocolate) Seriously after Kelly (Swizzlestick) send me chocolate frogs Im having this weird addiction to chocolate. LOL That's awesome.

I love my Sevy Aww..Dear old, Severus He's such a great HP character. He's one of my favourites and I also don't care whether he is good or evil. In a way I hope he is on the "bad" side, because that would just show that he does have loyalty to those who have been friends with him, rather than those who do not deserve his help. Yet, I do not wish him to die, as one would be bitterly disappointed!
