"Nice to meet you Becca." Asher said with a smile as he sat down. Mr. Smith, planet room. he thought to himself. Asher smiled even wider, she was an expecting mom, how exciting. "Yes, alright." Asher said with a nod. "I hope all goes well when the time comes." Asher said happy for his new boss.

Becca smiled warmly at Asher. "Thank you. I'd come in the day after, but of course, I'll have a baby to look after and some sleep to catch up on." she nodded. "Also, if you have any problems that you need sorting out there and then, but you don't get a reply from me, my husband is the department head on level eight, he'll be happy to help." Becca nodded, knowing Brian wouldn't mind at all.

"No,no. You'd need your rest." Asher said with a concern look. "Level eight. Got it." he said with a confirming nod of the head.

"Now, where exactly is the planet room?" Asher asked tapping his foot in confusion. Sure he had been to the ministry several times, but he'd never been down here before.

"Yeah, I've had that argument put to me already." Becca smiled, watching Asher take in everything she said. Planet room? Where.. Wh.. Where was it? Good question. "Ummm.." she giggled embarrassedly "I don't.. actually know." she admitted "Shall we go and have a look?" she asked "I'm new to this department too." Becca explained. But this was good, right? Find her way around the department! "Come on" she encouraged Asher "Let's go see!" Becca had a vague idea of where it was, but she wasn't sure.

Asher started to protest, if she was due this week, he didn't want her getting up and down like this. Asher reluctantly agreed and stood up. "After you then, I think you know your way around a bit better than I." he said gesturing for her to go first and him to follow.

Watching him trying to protest, she raised her eyebrows and said nothing. Becca grinned when he agreed and nodded at him telling her to go first. Picking up her wand and her phone off the desk, she headed out of the office and locked the door when Asher had got out of the room. "Let's try... this way." she looked around and started walking, knowing Asher was following her to find his new division.

Asher obeyed and followed Becca like a new little puppy out of the office and down the hall. He couldn't help but wonder how the kids were doing back at school.

Asher looked around, taking in all of his surroundings. Though things seemed a little gloomy, he knew he'd get used to them rather quickly.

After a nice trip to the planet room, Becca was ready to get on with some paper work, nothing too demanding though. Smiling, she unlocked her office easily and moved to sit in her chair whilst leaving the door open. Airing out the office couldn't hurt. Leaning back and looking at her desk calculatively first, she thought of Brian and how she'd see him later. Putting her phone and wand down, she got comfortable and picked up a quill to start the paperwork.

Ugh. This was not his favorite part. A very frazzled Kris knocked on Becca's door.

How would he explain? Better just to be straight up about his reasoning. Ugh. Why was it so hard?

Looking at the open door as someone knocked on it, Becca smiled "Come in Kris." she looked at him concernedly, he looked like he really didn't want to be here. "Have a seat." she offered, putting her quill down.

Kris walked in slowly, his hands in his pockets. It was hard.

"Becca, I can't really sit now. I have to leave," he said. "As in resign. Karma's best friend has been killed, and she's gone missing. Karma has, anyway."

Stress was wearing on him right now. It was horrible to see him in this shape, and it was awful for him to tell her.

"I already took the liberty of finding someone who might be better for my place than I ever was. She can be in here first thing tomorrow, if you want. I know you're stressed, and I want to make this as harmless as possible on you. I'm so sorry."

Watching him with wide eyes, Becca shook her head curiously and listened carefully. He couldn't sit down? He had to leave? Resign?! Becca's jaw dropped as Kris explained Karma had gone missing. "Oh no!" she said softly, looking at him apologetically. "I'm sorry." she said, feeling sorry for him. With Karma gone, she knew he'd be destroyed and he'd go to look for her.

Not even thinking about a replacement right now, she looked surprised at his words. He'd already found a replacement? "Okay." she replied, sighing softly "I appreciate you finding someone else for me." Becca nodded, looking at him. "Thank you. Don't be sorry, family comes first, I know that." she really understood. "I'm sorry to see you go." she told him, genuinely feeling sad to see him go.

"I've got to go now. I'll owl you as soon as I find anything out about her."

Leaving was hard. Especially in the state he was in. The floor looked wonderful to melt into at this point in time. Not even looking her in the eyes, he spun on his heel and out the door, tears forming in his eyes.

"Good luck Becca."

"Okay Kris." Becca smiled, looking at him. When he didn't look at her properly, she just wanted to stand up and hug him. Poor guy. "Thanks, you too. I'll always be around, and you know how to reach me." she watched him leave, her eyes wide and sad.

The sound of heels rapped on the floor of level nine as a rather perfect looking blonde made her way down the halls in search of a Becca Lee's office. Whoever she was, it didn't really matter. It was her boss, and that's the thing that mattered the most in this situation.

RaeAnn checked her watch to make sure of what time it was. She didn't want to be early, nor too late. Ugh, timing was EVERYTHING to her.

Finding the door, she straightened her suit jacket and skirt and made sure her hair was still slicked back into a ponytail at the base of her neck. There was glass on the door, and she took a peek to make sure there was someone inside. And there was, which was good.

She knocked three times on the door, and waited.

After Kris had left, Becca had gotten up and left instantly, feeling upset about the whole situation. But the next morning, she was back and ready to pick up what she'd left there yesterday.

Now sitting at her desk with a quill in hand again, she glanced at the clock as a knock sounded through the room. Looking up, Becca saw someone looking quite business like "Come in." she called, waving her wand at the door and opening it just in case the woman hadn't heard her. Who was she? Kris hadn't said anything about her except that she was taking over the division, and without a name, Becca hadn't been able to find anything on the woman.

RaeAnn breathed out a slight sigh, and walked through the door.

"Good Morning, Mrs. Lee," she said in a pleasant voice. "I'm RaeAnn Asteria. Kristofer had contacted me yesterday about the Time Room Division Head position. I know he had to leave in a hurry, so I brought this for you."

She handed a file folder over the desk to Becca. It wasn't too thick nor too thin, but hopefully it had the right things in it.

"It shows my past work history, current address, ways of contact. Almost everything you need to be able to find out all the dirt on me, really."

"Morning." Becca replied curiously, looking at the woman interestedly. Miss Asteria it was then. And she knew about Kris leaving quickly too, well, that meant it wasn't awkward. "Thank you." Becca took the file, looking at it interestedly and then opening it. "Miss RaeAnn Asteria.." she mumbled, looking down at the information "Oh, you live in Scotland too? My husband and I have a castle up there" Becca looked up and smiled at the woman quickly.

Looking back at the file now, she scanned it curiously. RaeAnn was older than her "Prefect, then head girl" she muttered to herself, taking in the information and scanning the file once more "Well, it all seems to be good, you wont mind if I do a little more looking into you, will you?" Becca asked, looking up at her now. "But other than me wanting to read more detailed, you're good to go! You need escourting to the Time Room?" Becca asked, not minding about the walk there and back, it would do her some good!

Husband? Already? Ugh. That would just not do for RaeAnn if it was her.

"A castle, you say?" she asked, interestedly. "I just have a little house for myself and my dog. I don't have the money for anything bigger."

For some reason, RaeAnn had this nagging feeling in her head that she was older than her boss. Now that would definitely be interesting in this situation, because it would be weird for Rae to work for someone younger. She didn't know why, it just would. Maybe experience level? Oh well, there's no turning back now.

Escorting? Pfft. She'd take the offer anyway, though. "Sure, I wouldn't mind a walk around now. That way I can see where everything else is, and not just my own room."

"Yes, a lovely castle with amazing gardens." Becca nodded, thinking about her and Brian sitting in the main garden. "Ah, well, I'm sure this job will pay more than the minister's office." Becca smiled at RaeAnn kindly before putting down her file and standing up. "Sounds great, I still need to explore this place fully." she admitted with a smile "And by the way, call me Becca."

RaeAnn nodded her head as Mrs. Lee told her to call her Becca.

"Alright Becca," she said. "RaeAnn is normally what I go by, unless someone dislikes me."

A department head not knowing where everything is? Unheard of. Oh well, some things just took a lesser priority than others, what with Becca being married and all. Love could do that to some people, or so she heard. No judgment on her end anyway, she barely even knew this woman.

"After you."

"RaeAnn it is." she smiled. Seeing RaeAnn's reactions to her admittance, Becca shook her head "I'm new too, I still need to explore. I've been doing a lot of paperwork that was left behind when the previous department head left, I've also been distracted by having a baby." Becca smiled, as if it wasn't obvious she was 40 weeks pregnant and should be at home, but she just loved her job too much!

"Thank you." she walked out of the door with her phone and wand in hand. Brian had told her to keep her phone with her, and she was going to do just that. Looking around, Becca's eyes widened "I have a rough idea of where things are.." she said softly.

Finally Troy was there. Benjamin Troy, the new temproary Department Head of Mysteries. He was fearless, kinda power hungry and intelligent, and the combination brought him to the attention of British Ministry.

In his black suit and golden tie pin, Benjamin made his way to the office briskly. Entering the room with such dominant attitude, he frowned at the all-purple themed office room. He had to change it first but only later. Now Business. He took the seat behind that glass table and waiting to meet everyone and everything in the department.

Dora approached the Department Head's office... she had said that Dora could come talk to her about anything so she was taking her up on that. Approaching the door she took a deep breath and knocked softly...

So no visitors. Did everyone know about the replacement? May be their department head didnt inform them properly about his placement? Oh, chuck it! Time for a round-up.

He pulled his chair back to get up and heard a gentle knock on the door. Finally someone. "Yes, COME IN!" he responded to the door and the person behind it as well as adjusting his sleek black silk tie.
