Still staring thoughtfully at the orb, Becca stayed slient. Could it mean something else? Maybe it did - Oh! Someone was at the door! Looking up with the cloudy blue orb's light dancing her eyes, she nodded for the person to come in. "How can I help?" she asked, looking at the man.

Axis opened the door and shifted slightly at the sight of the orb, he stayed a smile. He knew he would love working here.

"Ma'am" he smiled, moving into the office "My name is Axis SunSoar, I thought it best to meet you and to show myself as here" He stood in front of her, stealing another glimpse at the orb "I hope you don't mind my intrusion"

Ma'am? Ouch. The young department head looked at him straight away and nodded "Please, call me Becca" she couldn't handle being called Ma'am unless her husband called her it. "Nice to meet you Mr. SunSoar" she smiled and nodded "That's great, and it's no intrusion. I wasn't really doing anything except thinking."

Becca smiled warmly "I'm glad you came to see me." she looked at him and caught him glancing at the orb "It's interesting, isn't it?" she smiled, speaking softly "I just got it from the Hall of Prophecy." she explained, hoping he'd understand what it was.

Axis, nodded. The woman sitting in front had a kind look about her. He would enjoy working under her leadership.

"Call me Axis" he smiled warmly

He looked at the orb "That it is Becca" he took a step forward "It is a beautiful thing" he gestured towards the orb "extraordinary but beautiful" he folded his arms "Then if you don't mind me saying, it must be your prophecy," he said thoughtfully

"Certainly, Axis." Becca smiled. It was nice to be on first name terms, it felt so much more informal and it didn't get awkward. Watching Axis step forward, she nodded at his description of the orb. Looking up at him, she shook her head "No, it's not mine. It's just a very clearly written prophecy that I'm led to believe may have an underlying meaning." she explained, thinking about Brian, her husband.

Axis nodded, glancing at the thoughtful expression that spread along her face. "I have to say that I have always wanted to look into the Hall of Propercy," He put his hands in pockets and smiled "Ï have a feeling it would make everything I have learn't as an Astronomer seem child's play"

He paused,

"If you ever need a thinking partner, I am your man" he gave a small smile and glanced at the orb again, thinking.

"Mmm.. I might take you down there one day," she mused, speaking thoughtfully "See what you think." she smiled. "Yeah, to be honest, I've spoken with the division head and I was thinking about going to Minister Taylor." And my husband. She looked down at the parchment in front of her and then looked up at Axis "So, anything else?" she smiled, wanting to get upstairs. Pregnant, thinking Becca wasn't really someone who made conversation.

Axis nodded, Why go to Minister about a prophecy, there were so many. Surely he didn't need to know about them all. But he knew that this must be important and he hoped that if Becca needed help, she would know he was there. He gave her a warm smile.

"I will take my leave, I think" He held out his hand "It has been a pleasure meeting you Becca, and remember I am just around the corner if you need someone to throw ideas at"

He turned and left.

"Alright" Becca smiled and reached out to shake his hand. "Nice meeting you too, Axis. And I know where you are." she nodded with a smile "Thanks." she watched him leave and then got up from her chair with a sigh. Looking at the prophecy, she shook her head and picked up the parchment before pushing her chair under the desk and picking her wand up too. Walking out of the room, she locked the door and then headed up to level 8.

Walking back to the room, Becca looked around and then opened her office and headed in. Sitting at her desk, she put her head in her hands and shook her head slightly. Long day.

Dora walked up to door of her new Department Head... the third one since she started the Ministry. She smooth down the front of her robes and tucked a lock of teal hair behind her ear. Dora typically wore her hair pink and blonde, but she was having issues with her Metamorphing lately due to her pregnancy.

But alas... she was here to meet her new boss. Raising her hand she kncoked on the door and put a huge smile on her face. Division Head Dora was super excited!

Looking up, Becca saw a woman at the door. A.. pregnant woman! Awesome! "Come in" she called and sat back in her chair, her own pregnant belly showing now too "Take a seat" Becca offered, eyeing her "And would you like something to eat or drink?" Ha, being kind and helpful. She missed Brian already!

Dora smiled at her new boss and said, "A cuppa would lovely, actually." She lay a hand on her tiny baby bump and sighed. "In case you aren't aware, I am Dora Druery. Here to report to you for work" Dora said as she took a seat.

"No problem" Becca summoned the warm pot of tea from the small table by the door with two cups and poured out two cups of black tea. Putting milk into her own cup and then offering it to Dora, Becca smiled "HR told me when I was upstairs" she grinned "Nice to see you're here already." she smiled kindly. "How many weeks are you?" she asked, happy to meet someone else who was pregnant.

Dora smiled and said, "Oh I am so glad I wasn't coming down here blindly, so to speak. And thank you" She took the milk from Becca and poured herself some. "I was just on Level Four when I got the owl so I just headed down here." Dora explained. "Oh, I am only around seven weeks pregnant, and you?" Dora said as she placed her hand upon her little belly.

"No, I'd probably yell at HR if they didn't tell me and I'd be a bad department head if I didn't know" she laughed, watching Dora pouring the milk "That sounds fun." she smiled and then nodded "I'm twenty-eight weeks" she smiled, looking down at her own belly. "It gets easier." she nodded "I promise." she laughed.

Dora took a sip from her cup and sighed. It felt so nice to sit and relax. Smiling at her boss she said, "Well I had actually just transferred into the department when I got the news of this job. Never really got comfortable. Although I was in the Invisibility Task Force for a year before the transfer." She hoped Becca wouldn't think she bounced around the Ministry. She was so excited for the Division Head position and planned to have a long happy run there. Smiling again at her boss she said, "I'll take your word for it, it has been pretty rough lately."

Becca smiled and took a sip of her own tea before nodding and putting her cup down "Well, I hope you'll be able to be comfortable in this job!" she smiled "I'm always here if you need me and if I'm not here, my husband, Brian Lee, is upstairs." she informed her. "Yeah, it takes a while to get easier." Becca nodded with a smile as she picked up her cup again and sipped it.

Dora smiled sweetly at her new boss and said, "I am sure I will be comfortable here, this is a very nice welcome and I thank you so much for that. I will keep in mind that your door is always open. My husband is also a Division Head. He's up on Level Four so I have a great support system, it seems. Thank you very much for that." Draining her cup Dora rose from her seat. "I may come around for more than work advice." she said with a little laugh. "I am very anxious to meet my employees so I think I'll head on over." she said as she stuck out her hand for Becca to shake. "Thanks again for the welcome and the tea."

"I'm glad, and this is nothing" she smiled, nodding "Yeah, I'm always here, and the only reason I said to go to my husband is because he's a department head too" Becca beamed, feeling proud of Brian once again. "Feel free" she grinned, happy that Dora was laughing. That meant she was able to take a joke! "Okay, the enthusiasm you're giving out is great!" she grinned, standing up and shaking Dora's hand. "No problem, I'm always in here with food and drink." she laughed, genuinely wanting Dora to visit again.

Dora smiled brightly and shook her department head's hand with both of her own and said, "YOu can count on seeing me again!" With that Dora dropped her hands and set off out the door. Turning to look back over her shoulder she said, "And thanks again for the warm welcome" With that she slipped out the door and headed toward the Locked Room.

"Good." Becca smiled, watching Dora smiling brightly and looking happy about being here. "No problem." she replied warmly, watching Dora go. Time to disappear for a while, I think. Becca collected up her things and also headed out of the room, looking around as she left.

Sighing, the veeeeery pregnant department head fell into her chair and brushed her hair out of her eyes. Brian and her were going to go to see Minister Taylor today! They had to, and Becca was hoping the Minister would say yes.

Asher knocked nervously on the department head's door. He rubbed his hands together, waiting for a response. He was excited to start his new career, something he was rather excited about. It was odd for him to change his moring comute from the hospital to the Ministry.

As Becca leant back in her chair, she heard a knock and saw some movement outside her door. Waving her wand at the door to open it, she smiled at the employee on the other side of the door "Come in" she invited him "Have a seat."

Asher nodded and walked in. "Asher Holden." he said extending his hand before he sat.

"I'm new to the ministry, and was told to report in as soon as possible." he said with a smile. He was starting to feel more confident as he stood there before his boss.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Holden," Becca smiled, stretching out to shake his hand because her belly meant she was further away from the desk. "Mhmm.." she listened to him and then beamed when he finished speaking with a smile "I'm Becca, your boss, obviously.." she grinned, thinking of the name plate outside


"Anyway, you have your division head, who I believe isssss..." she looked at the files on her desk and opened each one of them quickly, looking at the names quickly. "Mr. Smith." she looked up, smiling "So you're working in the planet room and Mr. Smith will guide you in there" she explained "I'm always here if you need me." Except when I'm not here cause of the baby. "But, soon I'll be taking some leave. My due date is sometime this week.. But you can reach me by owl." she smiled, looking at him to see his reactions.
