A memo flew into the Obliviator Headquarters which unfolded and pinned itself neatly to the bulletin board for all employees to read:

Obliviators -

The task assigned to those of you earlier about the muggle children must be dealt with promptly. Muggle children have been spotted with the brooms in the park, of which you along with the broom regulation control team must report to immediately.

Addy turned around on her heel,when she heard a memo flew in and pinned itself to the bulletin board.She smiled,shes loved magic.Addy looked around and decided to go and have a look at what the memo said.

"Muggle Children on brooms.."She shook her head."Thats interesting,never hear of that before,but theres a first time for everything huh.."She said more to herself than anyone else.

Ivan came up behind his newest recruit and read the note over her shoulder. He sighed. "I thought I'd assigned Katya to that...." But then, he never quite remembered which person he'd assigned to what. He really should start writing these things down.

Slapping Addy on the back, Ivan said, "Okay, you're up. Go see what's going on. I'll be there shortly. There's a Muggle Children's Guide on my desk..." He glanced over his shoulder, "...somewhere." Books were piled on the floor around his desk, as well as several irregular stacks atop. "Or...you know, come up with something."

Ivan's eyes shot to Jason. "Jason, give Addy some help if she needs it on this assignment?"

Scratching his head, causing a tuft of hair to stick up strangely. "I'll be right behind you, to check on things." Ivan returned to his desk and began searching through drawers for an unused remembrall.

Addy turned to see her boss behind her.She looked back at the notice.

She jolted forward a little when he slapped her on the back and nodded."Yes of corse.."she said,nodding,her first task.

She looked over at his desk,it would take quite a while to find the childrens guide book,so she just nodded."Ill come up with something.."she said smiling

She looked over to Jason and smiled

"Ok,Im on my way.."she said nodding and turning on her heel.She left for the park

Katya came bounding into the little office which had the distinct odor of mothballs and (she eyed Ivan's chair) mold. "'ello in here!" she trilled, nearly spilling the coffee cups she carried on one of those box trays as she attempted to juggle her overflowing handbag, her robes slung over the other arm and the all-important coffee.

She has passed an unknown woman on her way in, but paid no heed (her attention span really was not that great this early in the morning) to her as she was currently shooting off her excuse for not being in the past few days.

"-and I swear, Ivan! The boil was about the size of... the size of..." she looked around, trying to compare the result of her brother Heath's magical accident with something in here, "The size of Killin's head!"

"Huuuge" she mouthed as she laid a coffee cup on her boss' table.

ooc: she's so tiring *wipes brow*

Jason smiled back at the young lady and then his eyes turned back to see Katya explaining something to Ivan. It was unexpected when his name was mentioned as a part of the explanation.

He shouldn't be paying attention, really. Jason sighed, turning around and going back to his paperwork. Blasted things.

Since bossman didn't seem inclined to reply, she moved on with her cardboard coffee tray to her desk neighbour, "Mornin' Killin," she said with a grin, placing another cup on his desk, "Why the frown?"

Looking up at the person who called his name, Jason frowned even more. "It's because as usual Ivan throws a bunch of paperwork on me. It's all in a days work, isn't it Katya? Of course you wouldn't know since you've been partying lately."

"Pfffft..." she scoffed, perching on his desk and sipping on the coffee she had just given him, "What partying? Ocean's not back yet, my brothers are booo-ring and you, well you're always working."

She peeked at his "paperwork", "Want some help?"

Jason eyed the coffee that was given to him. "Wasn't that for me?" he asked, a little bit disgusted that she would drink before he did. Jason never liked this sharing business. "Well that's what I've heard... Awesome party at Kelvin or whatever his name was. Not that I don't know." Jason scoffed, trying to work on his papers .

Looking up again, he raised his brow. "Someday you're going to give me a heart attack. You're starting to ask if I need help so much, it's scaring me."

She quirked a smile and handed him the mocha that was meant for her (perhaps some chocolate would do him some good), "You complain when I don't help... and now you're mouthing off on my offering?"

Hopping off the desk, Katya walked round to look over his shoulder, "So? I haven't really got anything to do...."

Coming back into the office,noticing her collegues sat at there desks with a cup of tea,Addy got out her little mug and coffee she had put iin her bag,for when she was gagging for a drink,and today was no exception.She sat down at her desk and smiled at the other two that were in the office,politly.

The door to the office burst open, and in ran Madeline. The woman was moving quite quickly, which was a bit of an achievement due to the state she had previously been in. Unfortunately, the poor Department Head had a look of terror upon her face. "Excuse me, Katya, Adriana, Jason...have any of you seen Ivan around?" she asked.

Katya almost spilled Jason's coffee all over her robes and eyed the Department Head apprehensively as she nursed her hand (which was not as fortunate as her robes), "He's probably fallen asleep under his pile of papers... what's wrong?"

BEcca walked into the Obliviator ooffice ready to start her new job.

Ivan's head popped up from behind a book. "Mwuh? Huh? What?" He blinked at Madeline and Katya. "Say, Katya, when did you get in?"

Another woman walked in. "What do you want?" Ivan asked, a slight edge of irritation in his voice. Couldn't a man finish a na-- er, report, a report in peace and quiet?

"Oh umm...I just got a n-new job here." said Becca nervously.

Katya sent her boss a coy smile, "Why..." Here was a good opportunity, "Hours ago, sir..."

Her eyes followed his groggy gaze, and she surveyed the fresh meat. She looked eager. Maybe she'd get along with Killin, or not, apparently workaholics didn't like other workaholics.

Jason was about to reply to Madeline when Katya did the honors and do so herself. Shrugging, he went back to his paperwork. He wasn't bothered by what she had done. No he wasn't.


He raised his head and blinked at Katya when she lied to her boss. Should he say something? Should he tell Ivan that this woman was lying and she just came in a few moments ago?

"Ivan!" Madeline said, walking up to his desk with amazing speed for a woman who had just lost her memory an hour previous. "Can I talk to you in my office? Please?" she asked. "You know, someplace private...it's about the situation that happened earlier."

"Fine, fine," Ivan waved off Katya's excuse. "Next time, tell me immediately. And," he began just before the sight of a coffee stain smack dab in the middle of his report on the broom incident distracted him, "...um..." What had he meant to say? "..nevermind. Just...um...recopy this for me." Ivan thrust the ruined report towards Katya.

That's when he noticed Jason watching them. Or, more precisely, watching Katya. Ivan rolled his eyes. Office romance, no doubt. If they got too obvious he'd have to 'talk' to them. He hated that - could never think of anything good to say except 'it's just a bad idea.' Not, his conscience noted that this had ever stopped Ivan. But, hey, that was back before he'd been the boss, right?

"Oh. Uh. Okay then." Ivan blinked. A new person? They sent him a new person? He wasn't expecting it...unless... His eyes darted to the pile of unopened, unread notices sitting by a glowing remembrall. Well...darn.

"Um...why don't you take a desk then..." he looked about. There was a lone slightly damaged, empty desk pushed up against the far corner. "That one. And then get me a copy of your vitae." He motioned off and then realized his other staff were staring at the new girl, too. "Jason, Katya, why don't you welcome --" Whatshername? "..the new girl-- er, woman -- person. Person." Stupid political-correctness police and their verbage rules.

"I'm getting a headache," he muttered to himself, rubbing his temple.

Ivan's head jerked up and the pain in his temple spiked. Nothing like having one's boss sneak up on one unexpectedly to set the heart-rate running!

"Hullo, Ma'am. Yes, Ma'am. Feeling better, Ma'am?" Ivan rose to his feet, sensing a potentially awkward tete-a-tete ahead. "There's a...a...closet-like storage place in the back." Ivan gestured towards a door, stepping out from his desk to lead the way. He purposefully avoided looking at any of his staff. No doubt there'd be questions later.

He opened the closet/storage door for Madeline. "I apologize for the size...and, er, mess. It really is the only place. But please don't mind the rat traps - they're for my flat. I just keep forgetting to bring them home."

"Umm, my name is Becca. What is a vitae?" she said. THen, looked at the old looking desk he was pointing at.
"Well, it is a start." she thought.
She looked around the room and say everyone staring at her, "Oh, um, hello."

Edith walked up to Ivan Callistus' desk and paused. He was busy. So she stood back and waited. Reagan had told her to come down and introduce herself. So that is what she was doing.

Tegan squeezed herself through the door into the The office that seemed to be the Head's of the Department. It was one of the messiest she had ever seen, though- she was sure- not unlike her own would be in a few days.

She saw a small tuft of hair sticking out from behind the massive pile of random papers and such and cleared her throat.

"Excuse me sir, I was just wondering about the upcoming wedding, If you already have people on the scene. I don't know if Thomas has spoken to you yet about it."

Tegan took a small step forward and promtly slid on a pile of paperwork that had been lying on the floor and fell- heavily- on her bum. Papers were flying everywhere and it looked as if there was a blizzard in the office.

Oh Merlin's beard! She thought, embarassed and angry at her clumsiness. I messed up the whole pile. She busied herself with picking up the papers that were now scattered about the office.

Her long hair had once again began to fall out of the mess that was on top of her head, causing her hair to fall into her eyes and around her shoulders in tendrals. Oh in Merlin's name!

Okkkk...not exactly what Maddie had had in mind, but oh well, it would do. She walked into the closet and managed to squeeze herself into the furthest corner--the further away, the less chance that any eavesdropping employees could overhear some of the embarrassing apologies she was about to make. She turned around, waiting for him to come inside with her.

Great, now I'm going to known around the Ministry as the Head who locked herself in a closet with her employee. How lovely!
