Oceana had just finished the final touches to her out fit, she was wearing a dark green dress and green heals, she had her hair down and curly, she smiled at her reflection and walked down the Level 6 corridor, she was nervous she hadn't spoken to Armen in a couple of days as they had both been busy as she neared the breakroom she could hear the party ahead in full swing, she walked up to the door and opened it.

The room was decorated well, she scanned the room looking to see if Armen was here, and she spotted him by the drinks table talking to a couple of people, she walked over, poured herself a butterbeer and spoke to Armen "Hey how you doing?"

Lilly walked into the break room after hearing about the welcome party. she was a little nervous because she didn't know anyone; therefore, she grabbed a drink and stood to the side by the tables that had been pushed out of the way for some of the dancers.

Armen smiled and looked up as he heard a familiar voice. "Hey Oceana! How are you?" he asked happily.

Filius walked into the room looking around for any familiar faces. It had been a long time since he had been at the Ministry so wasn't surprised to find out that he didn't recognize anyone. He went and grabbed a drink and sat down to watch everyone else.

As she entered the break room, Natalia looked around self-consciously, wondering if there was anyone she knew here. (of course there wasn't! She'd only JUST been hired!)

Making her way towards the food table, she grabbed a butterbeer and a..something. What was this? Taking a teeensey weeensey bite, she decided that it wasn't half bad. Kinda...puffy..and sugary. Eep! Was that chocolate!

This whole party idea might not be such a bad thing afterall!

Luna walked, well more like waltzed into the break room to get to meet and know her co-workers. Luna sat down in a chair and just admored everything that was going on around her

"Oh Armen," she smiled, removing one hand from her back to pat him on the shoulder. "You are such a kind man for doing that. I would love a chair, thank you." She was purely exhausted and was not feeling her usual self. If anything, she felt as though she was coming down with a cold or something that just so happen to bring her under the weather.

Armen smiled as she put his weight on him. "Ah it's nothing for a friend." he pointed his wand to a chair at the refreshments table and it zoomed over to him and he helped lower Madi into it. "There is that good?"

Angelica entered the break room now party decorated in a long light pink dress with matching accessories. It was great that Bella had arranged the party so that the employees could get to know each other. Angelica was well aware that she didn't know many of the new employees at all, but was determined to change that. The only people she knew well enough on level 6 were Bella and Armen. Madison had been away for most of the year so she hadn't had the chance to get to know the expecting mother to be any closer. Angelica glided in towards the food table looking around the room for someone to talk to but most of all something to eat.

Getting away from the children for a bit was good since she needed time to think and debate on how to tell them that their mother who hadn't spoken or seen them in over a year wanted to meet them. Maybe Bella could help her think something up, but she didn't want trouble her old friend with her personal problems. Bella probably had enough on her mind as it was with running a big department. Shrugging Angelica stopped in front of the food and started to absentmindedly pile food onto a plate.

Bella laughed goodnaturedly, then shook her head. She'd debated on refreshments versus dance floor for a moment, but then she'd decided that she'd far rather socialize than snack right now. "I think I'll go for the dance floor, Armen," she replied. No use in calling Mr. Recard here at a party. "It looks like just about everyone's shown up for the party, too. I thought it'd be nice to get everyone involved in something before the workload hits us." She laughed again, then began to dance along to the beat.

"Hey there, Craig!" she greeted, smiling and waving at one of her newest employees and division heads. Good 'ole Craig...one of her newest knights-in-shining-armor, thanks to how he helped rescue her from Darla. She laughed lightly about Craig's idea to keep the breakroom like this year-round. "That sounds fun, but I'm afraid we'd find ourselves in here more than out there." She nodded her head towards the direction of the door, indicating the place that led to where are their offices were. She turned back to Craig, though, when he asked her to dance. "I'd be delighted to give you that honor."

From her spot on the dance floor, Bella glanced over to see Madi waddling in, her baby obviously ready to make its big appearance into the world any day now. "Hey there, Madi," she said, pausing her dance with Craig for just a moment to wave to her friend and co-worker. Poor Madi probably wouldn't be able to dance today, but she could at least give the refreshments table a good workout. "There are some lovely treats just calling your name over there, Mads!" She nodded towards the large refreshment table on the far side of the room.



...and then the place began to get packed, as employee after employee filed in. Bella glanced up to see a few ofher co-workers that she actually hadn't gotten the chance to meet just yet. She briefly closed her eyes, picturing her filing cabinet and trying to remember who was who. Ah! That's it! "Oceana, Lilly, Filius, Natalia, and Luna!" she said, waving towards the employees. "Great to see you! Come out out here and show us your latest and greatest dance moves!" She laughed lightly, the continued dancing around the room with Craig.

Craig swooped Miss Greingoth around the dance floor. They danced a spanish waltz (ooc: less seductively). And twirled around and had a merry ol' time.

He had never had so much fun at work of all places. This was a great night. And the end of Craig and Miss Greingoth's dance he was slightly out of breath. "If you'll excuse me Miss Greingoth, I think I will take my leave from the dance floor and meet of few of my new co-workers." He bowed. "Thank you for the dance."

Craig turned to Luna and Natalia. "G'day ladies, I think you two are in my division? If my files in the back of my mind are correct?"

Laughing a little bit at what he just said Luna replied "Well your file is correct, I'm Luna Stevens and I am brand spabking new here

"I'm good thank you Armen" she replied with a smile "its been a while since i have seen you though" she blushed, she poured her self a butterbeer. She heard Anna shouting over to her, she waved back and smiled

After helping herself to a big plate of food Angelica headed over to where Madison and Armen was. Smiling at them both she said "Hey, Great party!" Looking Madison over she asked with a worried glance "Are you all right, Madison? You look exhausted. Do you need me to get something for you?" Angelica hoped that her new boss wasn't feeling more unwell then any pregnant mother would do in the later stage of her pregnancy. Hearing Oceana's voice close by Angelica turned and smiled at her friend saying "Evening, Oceana! Nice party isn't it?" Letting her gaze wander she saw Bella off to the right talking with some of the newest employees. Remembering her own dilemma Angelica shrugged deciding that she could talk to Bella about that later, after the party.

Just finished situating herself at her new desk back at the Portkey Office, Laura walked into the breakroom for the party. There were plenty of people, but maybe she'd get on introducing herself later. She would head for the food for now.

Nat pushed the breakroom's door to find it crowded with employees, new faces and old ones. She smiled at everyone she bumped into and moved towards the area of the new division head. She just stopped when she saw her dancing at the center along with the other employees. She party, she thought and smiled again. She waved with a big grin not knowing if Mrs. Greingoth had seen her or not.

Maybe it's time for her to do the groovin' either.

She was still thinking about Mike leaving the Department and Leaving England for good. She glanced around and she wanted to see him... but he wasn't there anymore.

Mel was peeking inside from minute to minute. What was I thinking of, she thought angrily. When she was down at her office she had felt the need to see Craig, maybe just tell him I love you, but now that she was here, she was deslocated.

It was obvious everyone was having a good time, she could tell people were dancing and talking, there was a nice music. And she... she smelled her own hair it smelled like smoke from her office.

She peeked inside again, not sure if she was even allowed to come in, after all it was the level six breakroom, it was supposed to be only theirs, she shouldn't go burst in like that. She glanced to see if she could spot Craig.

She looked just in time to see him finishing a dance and going to two ladies to talk. She sighed and turned her back at the room to calm down. That stabbing sensation came back. Relax, no need, you know there is no need for that, she murmured to herself, like a karma.

Why don't I have male friends, she thought, but then regretted it, such a selfish thought. She sighed. I better go, she decided, and turned in her wheels to leave.

"Craig Wickham, you're jackaroo Division Head," he said with a smile. "I look forward to working with you this year I..." he thought he caught a glance, but thats impossible, "...have a few plans in store with the floo network and..." his wolf-like instinct kicked in and he could smell her scent and something smokey, it was definitely her though... "If you'll excuse me a moment, there's someone here, I really have to explain...talk to. We will run into each other again I'm sure. I'm sorry for leaving so soon excuse me."


Craig rushed over behind her and grabbed her by the elbow. "Come with me to my office," he said in her ear as he lead her down the hallway. "We need to talk."

Wow, Craig was a pretty good dancer, if she did say so herself. She followed his lead around the dancing floor, moving to the beat of what seemed to be a Spanish waltz. All too soon, the music ended, and the dance came to a suddent halt. "Of course you're excused, Craig," she said. "You're quite the dancer, as well. Thanks for the dance!"

As Craig turned to speak with a few of his co-workers, Bella made her way around the room, stopping to watch poor Madi waddle around as she maneuvered throughout the room. Her baby was seriously ready to be born any day now. Merlin help her if it decided to come now. Bella knew nothing about delivering a baby.

As she walked further away from Craig, Bella turned to see Angelica just across the room. Her friend seemed to be chatting with a few other employees, so Bella just settled for a simple smile and a wave. She'd catch Angelica later on when she wasn't in the midst of conversation.

Spying one of her newest employees over at the food table, Bella made way over there, a smile already on her face and she turned towards Laura. "Laura Miller, yes? I'm Bella Greingoth, the department head here on level six. Welcome to Magical Transportation. We're really pleased to have you here," she said. "You lucked out and came just in time for a party, too!

From where she stood over by the food table, Bella caught site of Natalia waving to her from across the room. "Good to see you, Natalia!" she called out, happy to see her at the party, as well. Having all her employees together in one place was quite pleasing. She was surely lucky to have inherited such a wonderful department from Lorraine.

Turning to face the speaker, Laura smiled back and laughed a little at what she said. "Thanks, Mrs. Greingoth. I can't wait to start," she said. "Of course, I feel lucky to have made the party! There couldn't have been a better way to be introduced to the department."

Leah over his shoulder, Winter walked into the break room with two little dark spots underneath each of his eyes. Gah. Babies. Why did they have to stay up for such a long time? It was because they... Did? Yeah. So, after a very long night with Leah, he had placed her cot in his room, but it hadn't given him enough hours of sleep. But hey, he couldn't miss a party, even if he was walking whilst being half asleep.

Craig returned to the party. But he wasn't feeling to well. Something in the bit of his stomach was churning. Maybe it was the firewhiskey. His temperature started to rise.

He decided to just take a seat in the corner. He tried to remain as happy as he could, this was a party after all.

Walter walked in and looked around and being a new worker there he didn't know anyone so just started wandering around.

Madi closed her eyes, trying to force a smile on her face. She leaned her head back against her shoulders as a slight discomfort began to come from her abdomen. An inhale of breath through the nose and exhale through the mouth is all she needed for the pain to settle down to the bare minimum.

"I'll...be okay," she finally opened her eyes to look at her boss, Armen and Angelica. "Thank you." These people were always so nice and so wonderful to be around. Bella had good employees within this department.

Craig saw Madi's discomfort and rushed over to her. He made a pillow appear with his wand and handed it to her. "Maybe you can lean against this? Can I get you anything? A water? Some tea?"

She looked like she was in a bit of pain. The same pain he went through around a full moon. "Perhaps we should contact someone from St. Mungo's to come? Better safe than sorry."
