Krel nodded and watched Lili leave. Well, she thought. I guess, I could go out for a quick lunch. She checked her watch as she walked back to her desk where she left a quick note in case someone came looking for her. Quote:

Lili made her way back into the office after she had delivered the report. And after she had been out for lunch and ice cream. She was really glad that she had chosen to stop in at the breakroom before she was going to come back to the office. She would probably of met him sometime, but it had made her day so much better and as she walked back through the door to her office, she had a large smile on her face. She sliped her light coat off her shoulders and hung it up at the front of the room, and glanced around, seeing that there was no one in the room. She let out a large sigh and let her shoulders drop as she realized nothing had changed yet. Maybe she should discuss that with Iain and Jacob, see if they had any ideas, now, only if she could connect with Jacob that would be great. She walked down between a row of cubicles...she really didn't like them...maybe she thought. She took out her wand, and vanished the cubicles, and left in their place desks instead. There, she thought, the room seemed so much more open now. Perfect. As she passed Krel's desk she noticed her note, ohh, she thought, that's okay, I just do hope that she comes back soon. Maybe she will have some ideas as well, Lili thought, I can ask her what she thinks. When she got to her desk, she pulled out her chair, and sat down. What to do she thought. She'd have to wait for what Evaline said about France to do much else there, and she had handed over her sister's mirror, her place seemed awfully empty without Kait around, but knowing that she was almost getting ready to go back to school Lili smiled, and let her mind trail to think of Hunter. |
Diana had been sort of concentrated on her report, which didn't result as she thought. Most of the answers were obvious, maybe...Then she noticed the cubicles were not around anymore. Distractiveness was her middle name...gah. And this was it. Quote:
"Ms. Hayman..." She called up and tried to smile. You could easly see she was nervous. "...here is my report, and don't worry. We will solve this problem soon. We are in a rush yes, but things will clear up." She said, handing the paper to Liliana. |
Lili was sure it would be solved soon, as she read over Diana's report as she handed it to her. She would have to add this to the report that she had already given to Evaline. "Thank you, Diana," Lili said as she placed the parcement down on her desk. "I really hope this helps us solve the problem with France." She could feel her mind wandering back to what she was looking forward to the most today. "Why don't you just go organize that filing cabinet over there," she said, pointing to the group of them in the corner, "just make sure that everything is in order, and that it all follows the time line. Start with the one on the far left for now." She was pretty sure they covered a wide length of time, so she didn't the girl to be doing to much at once. Filing could be tedious, but the information you could find in the files could be interesting to read she thought, in a last attempt to keep her mind off her date with Iain tonight. |
Diana smiled. Just what office was called for. Paper work and filing them all into distinct dates and subjects. Yay!! She looked back at the cabinets, made some sort of gulp when she saw the big pile...and then turned back to Lily. "Great, I'll do that in a sec...I think I was born to do it." She said, joking about her job at her home sometimes, when her parents used to put her do all that paperwork with them, then putting them in order. "So...do you think...all this goes over soon?" Diana asked, a bit worried about the situation. |
Camila walked into her cubicle holding her Aunt's reply and set of to work on her report, it took her a while until she finished. She walked out of her cubicle and went to Ms.Hayman's office to hand in her report. "Here's my report, Ms.Hayman." She said smilling. Quote:

Lunch had been a nice escape. Krel had needed time to clear her head after all the research, reading, and writing she had done the last couple of days. The only hard part had been the fact that it had been lovely outside and she now found it difficult to come back inside. Krel slipped her travel cloak off as she stepped into the room. She felt a yawn coming on and quickly covered it up with her hand. What- my eyes must be playing tricks on me. she thought once she was done yawning. She blinked. Blinked again and then gave her head a little shake. The cubical were gone. Along with any sembiance of privacy that the mini-walls gave. Her cloak hanger, extra sweater and a few other things, like papers and photographs and notes, were now lying it puddles around her desk. She groaned slightly. I wish Liliana would stop doing things like this! Trying to hide the slump in her shoulders, Krel walked over to her desk and started cleaning up the mess that the disappearing cubical walls had created. I just lost a good 1/3 of my working space now...great. she grumbled to herself. |
"I sure hope so, Diana," Lili told her...really hoping that what she said was true. Looking towards the familiar voice that had spoken she smiled. Camila. She walked towards her, and took the report she was handing her. Reading it over quickly before she spoke she said, "this is good, I'll add it, I've got to go see Mrs. Bass soon anyway." As Krell came back in she smiled in the direction of the women and asked, "Did you have a good break?" She knew she had certainly had... ice cream was good. She was glad she had decided to escape to the breakroom, and ended up meeting Iain. "So, I'm sorry about removing the cubicles" she said to her employees. "I just wanted the room to look more open. Just give it a little while, and if doesn't work out, I can put them back. In the meantime, if you'd like, you can expand your desks slightly." She shook her head slightly, warding off her thoughts for now, before saying, "Can the two of you help Diana with filing for now, I'll be over to help you in a moment." |
Cornelius walked up to the DIvision head.''Hello,''he said,''I am the liason for the department of international cooperation.I was wondering if you could tell me what is currently going on in our division.I was also wondering if I could talk to some of your co-workers in this division.'' |
Lili looked up as someone walked into the office. She'd never seen him before, but as he introduced himself, she smiled. "Hi," she said, "I'm the division head, Lili. Not much," she told him, honestly, "We're trying to figure out the problem with France, and not being able to get there by any means of magical transportation. Feel free to talk to the staff if you'd like," she said, gestering towards them with her hand. |
Krel pushed a lock of her hair out of her face. It appeared that all the bending and folding and lifting and pushing she was doing with the filing had loosened some of her coppery brown hair from its bun. Her green eyes followed the young man who had walked in and was talking with Liliana. Taking a moment to redo her hair, she pulled the pin out of the bun and let it cascade down. A second later, one would be surprised how fast Krel could do her hair, it was back up in its tidy bun and she was back to reading files and tucking the safely away in their appropriate places. |

Lili walked back into the office. She'd had a good weekend and had got some exciting news. As she walked her shoes clicked on the floor and her dress hung to about her knees. She cleared her throat as she stood in the doorway and then walked further into the room. "Can I have everyone's attention please?" She asked. She paused for about a minute before she continued. "Mrs. Bass resigned a few days ago, and I have been asked to step up as the department head. I wanted you guys to be the first ones that I told." She paused, letting this sink in before she told them the rest of the news. "You will have a new division head in a few days time but for now, just continue with what we've been doing. I'm going to be checking in. If any of you have any questions, feel free to come to my office, I'll answer any questions you may have." She took a deep breath, and took a look around the room that she had spent so much time in in the last months. "I need to go talk to the other divisions now, but feel free to come talk to me," she said with a smile, as she turned and left the room. She'd come back in a little while, but she was going to miss this room. |
"Mrs.Bass, resigned !?" Camila said blankly after Lili walked out, she was so shocked she always knew Mrs.Bass to be a tough sort of woman and never dreamed that she'll resign willingly. She looked around at her colleagues, "Many changes, eh?" She said shaking her head. Lili has only been their head for a couple of months and know they're going to get a new person again, sighing she returned to what she was doing. |
Iridesca checked her reflection in the window of one of the nearby offices to make sure that her white business suit was straight and that her purple hair was all in order. She really wanted to make a good first impression in the MoL Division. Once she passed her quick inspection, she pushed the door open and walked into a room full of cubicles. Her first impression...well...this place is colorless and dull...we can fix that she thought. She paused at the entrance way and pulled out a notepad to start making notes about things as she waited for Liliana to arrive and give her a tour and introduce her to her new staff. She put her best smile on and thought here we go.... |
Lili followed Iridesca into the division that she used to be head of. After the short meeting that she had had with the woman she felt confident that she was going to do a good job. Smiling as she noticed that the woman had pulled out a pad and pen. Always good for her to be prepared. Everything she had seen so far just reaffirmed her thoughts. "Sorry that I keep interupting you guys so much," she said, addressing the office at large for the second time in the last two days. "I'd like to introduce you're new division head to you. This is Iridesca McMillan," she said, turning to give Iridesca an encouraging smile. "She has graciously accepted the position. Please help her get used to her new position," she said. She really wanted them to help her get settled in. She'd make sure to check in on her every once in awhile. Turning her attention back to Iridesca she smiled and asked, "do you have any other questions before I head back to my office?" |
Iridesca turned to Lili, "Thanks, no I don't have any questions right now, but if I do think of any I'll def come hunt you down. " she said with a smile as she held her hand out again. "It was great to meet you again and I hope I can make you proud as Division Head." She turned to face the MoL cubicles. "Well, I'm very excited to be your new Division Head and I'm already planning some great things for the MoL. I'm going to go my office and get everything organized and then I would like to have a meeting so I can get to meet everyone and so we can all get on the same page. So, keep you eyes open for a Division Meeting announcement. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to come see me!" well so far so good she thought to herself. She waved goodbye to Lili and then headed to her office to start getting things organized. |
Confident that she was going to do well on here own Liliana left the office with another word, shutting the door quietly behind her. |
To all MoL Staff...Very Important!!! After everyone had gone home for the night, Iridesca walked through the office and stopped at each cubicle. She set up an invitation in a plastic bottle on each desk. SPOILER!!: Bottle and Invitation She was so excited to get to meet everyone and she hoped this would be the fun event they had been looking for. |
Filing, news...Ms Bass resigned?! Geez...Diana was quite shocked. Yeah, shocked though happy that Liliana was able to replace her at once. And that meant a new Head of Division...and there she was, Ideresca D'Ann McMillan. "Congratulations to both..." She truthfully said, still kind of excited about the little change around the place. The new head of division was checking the place, ehem...what was wrong with it? Nothing really. It was a normal work spot. Though, getting to see the new person in charge, she came to notice that she was going to make some colourful differences. Maybe some yellow...it is said that it gives ideas...more ideas were needed around to solve that problem. Ehem...so, Diana returned to her cubicle and noticed the invitation. Lovely Luau..."I'd sure go..." She whispered to herself, expecting some rest after so much time. |
Camila arrived at the meeting a bit late, she was very tired not having slept well last night. She walked through but didn't find anyone. Surely not all of us is late, she thought. Heading toward the meeting place she looked for their new head Iridesca but didn't find anyone. She went back out and leaned against the door to the first cubicle waiting for someone to arrive. She took off her jacket and put her bag down on a nearby desk. |
Iridesca walked through the Division to her office to grab some more cups and noticed someone looking a little bit lost. "Hey, can I help you find something?" she asked with a smile on her face. After being afraid that other people in the division hadn't recieved the announcement from the Department Head, Iridesca decided to hang up a sign. Click here to get there... *Added July 5* Iridesca walked through the division looking at all of the different desks and a few of the cubicles. She was really hoping that something would come about from the note from Beaux Academy. As she walked through the division, she decided this was the perfect time to hang up some signs reminding everyone to VoTe! in the upcoming election for Minister of Magic. As a member of the Independent Campaign Committee it was her job to make sure that peeps got out and voted for who they thought would be the best candidate. She walked over to the wall by the door to insure that anyone walking out would see the sign and used a sticking charm to hang up the VoTe! sign. |
The same memo flew into each room. It had been bewitched to repeat it out loud to everyone in the room, and then to anyone new that came in. Quote:
