As soon as Laura entered for her second round she saw there were quite a few people working already on the challenge ahead. She came in and then began to listen to what Mr.Wesley Kutcher had to say.She chuckled as to what he had to say about what small kids can do when they get their parents wands
So very true she thought and then shook her head.
Nodding her head every now and then she looked at the board as he magicked it with some tips. After she got to know what she was to do.She turned her back and saw that there were numerous charmed objects flying around. There were numerous mops that are walking around, getting water all over the floor. Laura looked above her and found outsomeone had transfigured some poor canaries into teacups. She found are a number of stuffed pygmy puff toys, all of which have been enlarged to the size of bean bag chairs, making it very difficult to get around!

woah...quite some work here she murmured and then got with her task.
Laura decided to do some work with the pygmy puff stuff toys so that there will be space enough for her to work on something else.So drawing her wand out she started her work
Diminuendo she said and the nearby pygmy puff stuff toy shrinked into its original state.Levitating it with a hovering charm Laura put the stuff toy at a side and worked with the other pygmy puff toys
Diminuendo
Diminuendo and then kept the toys at a side and then looked around
phew now, there is some place to walk around here she said aloud a bit and smiled at her work but just then she found a teacup/canary flying towards her with a dangerous speed...
Oh My God! Aresto Momentum she called out and the teacup/canary instantly slowed down and Laura caught it right in frnt of her face. She grinned. She then took a good look at the teacup/canary and then with the Homorphus Charm she changed it into sweet cute canary
aw...there you go honey, free to fly without handles now she joked and let the canary fly away.As the canary flew Laura turned around to look at where the cauldron was.
Spotting the huge cauldron at the corner of the room Laura walked towards it and then looked in and saw that the cauldron had some yellow colored potion brewing in it.Looking at the color she knew that the potion was brewed incorrectly.Checking on from her notes that she jotted down prior she looked for leech juice.

On getting the leech juice from a nearby vial.Laura took the vial and slowly added the drops every five minutes. After what seemed like 20 minutes the yellow colored potion was finally turning light in color and in the last drop within the 20 minutes span the color changed to green.
hum...not bad,i guess she said looking at the proper green color that the cauldron was brewing.

Looking around for the quills, she got them and dropped a quill into the cauldron and the quill instantly shrunk then its normal size.Laura smiled, satisfied with her work.
not bad at all she thought.

Super Slytherin Buddy | | ⅓ She-Snake Trio | | a normal girl with normal knees

Lilah made her way up to the next level, taking in all the sights and sounds as she passed by each place. Wow, it was soooo different then the level she herself worked on it was, unbelievable. No kneazles, ghosts, creatures, shrills, shrieks, or growls to be heard or seen!

However, her amazement had to stop since she finally made it to the place where she was supposed to be. Listening to the instructions, and reading the poster as well, a small smile appeared on her lips when she realized that this was something that she could actually do without feeling useless. She may have stumbled her way through the last two challenges, but she could handle this one!

Nodding when the man speaking signaled that they could go in, Lilah took a step into the room and...paused. Taking everything else, there was now a noticeable giant smile on her face. Obviously Lilah was completely amused by the chaotic room! This was just brilliant! Ducking under something that zoomed by quite close to her head, and having to angle her body so another whatever it was that zoomed close to her side and feet didn't hit her, the blue eyed woman laughed as she took everything in. She should've worked in this department! But alas, her heart was still with the creatures.

Not being able to correct what she now realized were tea cups flying around, since they were just so darn cute!, she went to go fix one of the GIANT pygmy puff toys instead. Well, it was more that she just, turned, and there one was! Aw they were cute too! Perhaps she should create one of these and put it in her own home. Make it a little more...festive or however people call it. "Dimmeundo." she said, pointing her wand at the giant bean bag sized pygmy puff toy. At least now she was able to walk a few more feet in front of her.

Hopping over a few other enormous pygmy puff toys, and ducking under a few flying teacups, plus having a hard time not slipping on all the water on the ground (but the rather large pygmy puff toys were useful to grab onto if she started to fall), Lilah finally made it to the other side of the room, only to find herself reading another piece of parchment. Hmm, well it was obvious they had to fix this potion! Not because the note said so, even though it did...say so, but since they listened about fixing spells and potions gone wrong, obviously this was the next step! Now, yellow potion. Which one was the yellow potion again?

She didn't really want to have to walk all the way to the other side of the room again to find out which one the yellow potion was but- Oh wait! Duh, it was the shrinking solution. How could she forget this one? She'd messed this potion up plenty of times, she should've realized from a mile away! Giggling quietly to herself, she picked up the leech juice, and poured a little dash of the juice into the cauldron, and then waited. She didn't have a watch with her, so she had to count in her mind...which was quite hard considering all the distractions around her, but she managed to do it! After five minutes were up, she added another little dash of the leech juice, when...oh that was rather quick. The potion had started turning to it's regular green color. One that was quite familiar since her potions teacher in the states practically bore it into her mind...

Now, picking up one of the rather large quill and trying not to think of how cool it was, Lilah tipped it into the cauldron, before letting it drop. Holding up her wand, she levitated the quill out of the solution to see how she did. It was, normal size! Or, however normal sized a quill could be! How could one tell if it turned out too small or not? Pssh.

Yes! She was done! Just about to raise her arms for quick victory dance while everyone was distracted, it was just her luck that she didn't notice a particular teacup zooming towards her side. Owww. Evil yet cute little things...And really hard.

The annoyance was now even more obvious on his face than when he entered the last room. How many of those imbecile challenges would he still have to endure? And this one was no less stupid than the last one. Why did he have to learn about what could possibly go wrong when one had a three-year-old at home? It was highly unlikely that the Minister and her Senior Undersecretary were kidnapped by a three-year-old. So, there, totally imbecile!

Grey-green-ish eyes flickering swiftly to the list of spells he noted them down onto his notepad just incase. Of course he knew all of them but then again they might be expected to use ONLY those six spells. Still, what all this had to do with the disappearance of the two women, he did not know. Neither did the whole 'Potion-gone-wrong' lecture. They hadn't vanished into thin air by a improperly brewed Potion after all.

Now, on to the challenge. YAY! Michel could only roll his eyes once again as he turned around to face the room with his wand in his hand. Why did this have to involve that much magic anyhow? Well..."Arrgh!" He uttered a number of French swearwords under his breath as he glared down at the enormous toy he had just run into. It was an enlarged...something. Couldn't they have enlarged something else instead? Like...err...well, anything BUT one of those objects?!

"Diminuendo!" Michel lazily pointed his wand at the nearest enlarged object before blinking at it a little in surprise as it shrinked to to the size of a tiny little...Pygmy Puff? Oh, so that was what it was. Still, there were numerous more which were just plain irritating and in the way between him and the cauldron they were supposed to reach. He repeated the spell on enough of the gigantic Pygmy Puffs until he was finally able to approach the cauldron with ease...or so he thought. But there was still so much water all over the floor that as he finally reached the cauldron his shoes were completely soaked.

With his hot air coming out of Michel's wand he peeked into the cauldron for just one second and immediately recognized a Shrinking Solution gone wrong. Obviously! He didn't even need to look at the board but reached out for a vial of leech juice and added a drop to the potion. Now, it was to wait. Letting his eyes roam the room for a moment they lingered on a few people who obviously needed the help of the board to use the correct spell on the bewitched objects. Amateurs! After five minutes he added another drop of the leech juice, and after another five he added another one. Repeating this process a few times more the potion finally looked like it should: Green.

Just as he was about to approach the man who seemed to be responsible for this challenge Michel's eyes fell on the quills which lay next to the cauldron. Yes, they would be ideal to try out the effects of the potion. Carefully holding one of the quills between his thumb and middle finger he dipped it into the potion and watched it (Surprise! Surprise!) shrink. Now what? "Sir? I do believe I have completed this task." He turned to look at the man who had (unnecessarily) explained everything (Wes). "And if I may ask, how does this help in finding the Minister and her Senior Undersecretary?" Because he just couldn't seem to see a connection there...

He waited until he is sure that the canary will nto return to be a teacup.

Oh no. The canary popped into a teacup again! It was clear that that Finite charm just wasn't going to do.

WELL. SOMEONE had an attitude, didn't they? Wes frowned. Sure, he himself wasn't one to jump around all giggly and stuff whenever he was happy, but he still expected a BIT of enthusiasm. Hmpf.

"The note said clearly to finish this Education Fair in order to get the Minister and her Undersecretary back," Wes told him with a head nod. "How do you know that you're not going to have to fix a Shrinking Solution to shrink yourself small enough to fit in a tiny hole in the wall to get to the Minister? HMM?" he asked.

Ok. He'd been reading Alice in Wonderland a few nights ago. So what?

"Try testing that quill again with a smile on your face," he told him. HEHEHE. No one gave Wes Kutcher ANY sort of attitude. NOPE!

Michel's eyebrows went higher and higher as he listened to the man explaining why exactly it was of use to know how to fix a Shrinking Potion to save the Minister. Or TRY to explain really. Because it still seemed highly unlikely that this was the only way to reach the Minister and her Senior Undersecretary. That sounded more like a fairy tale than reality. "Well, I don't, Sir." He stated in reply to his first question with a firm nod. "But I am in fact able to brew a Shrinking Potion without it turning yellow at some point instead of green, hence I do not see the reason why I need to know how to fix an incorrectly brewed potion." And no, he was not trying to be difficult, he honestly didn't understand it.

"Oh, and I'm not Alice." He added in an afterthought, a small smirk gracing his lips, before with a small exasperated sigh he turned back to the potion and the quills. He wanted to get this over with. And quickly. "Better?" He inquired - trying hard to make his face look a little more cheerful than before - as he dipped another quill into the potion and watched it shrink to the size of a hairpin.

DH was glad that the canary was not changed into a tea cup. Then again... He was wrong, when he heard a pop and heard Wesley said something from the list might help.

He then remembered another transforming charm which is non verbal.

He pointed his wand on the air to slow the thing down, Aresto Momentum he muttered and then flicked his wand and did the Homorphus Charm.

The teacup turned into a canary and again landed into his shoulder. "Hello little buddy, hope you wont transform to a cup again." he said jokingly.

What? Turning to see who was speaking, Lilah smiled when she noticed who it was, because obviously she couldn't glare at him. Wasn't he the division head? "I'll keep that in mind!" she said back, rubbing her side. It was starting to feel better, which was good. Probably will leave a bruise but she'd been used to bruises for so many years!

"Thank you." She could move on!! Smiling once again at the man, who...she should really learn the name of, or the names of everyone in the ministry for that matter...she went and moved on through the door and to the next place.

Pierre ran into the room only to have a mop walked past him...walk? He heard the instructions and nodded pulling up his sleeve. Good finally something he loved... Potions and of course charms. He pulled out his wand and flicked it at a mop "finite!" the mop fell to the floor on his feet to be exact. PIerr tried to walk away..though the mops sudden;y kept walking towards him "finite!" they fell making his journey now a little easire then before that was until a teacup cam hurling at him "lovely aresto momentum!" the Frenchmen saw the teacup fall from the sky and onto the floor...now Pierre knew why he hated birds...ugh.

He walked over towards the cauldron and stared at the potion for a moment...it was a dark blue.

"Wrongly brewed calming drought" he whispered with a smile. He took two ginger roots and added them to the potion before moving onward he stirred then ten times counterclockwise. Slowly but surely the potion had turned purple, smiling Pierre added the powered moonstone and two crushed scarab beetles. Well now wait... He waited half an hour before dipping a quill, the feathers which were wild looking had died down a little and the colors faded a bit. As if the quill had calmed itself down but just to make sure he picked up a quill and transfigured it into a frog using the point from the last quill he dripped the solution onto the hyperactive frog.... suddenly it stopped moving so much and stayed in place. "well...that's that" he said with a smile transfiguring the frog back into a quill.

When he stepped in the room Ryan halted for a moment blinking at the stuff around. Now this was a real mess and ... ''Oops!'' Just in time he stepped right to avoid the flying cup over his head. Now what was this!? At first place he felt like he was back to his Auror years though this place was not a crime scene. It more looked like an amusement park gone wrong or...whatever.

Obviously he needed to fix those thnigs around. No problem. Taking his wand off at first place he casted ''Diminuendo'' to the huge pygmy puff that was blocking his way and repeated it ''Diminuendo! Diminuendo! Diminuendo!'' till he opened himself a free way to the cauldron in the room which again looked like he needed to deal with. But before starting on it, his blue eyes landed on first the mops than the flying cups. ''Okay, mops first!''

''Finite!'' he yelled at one of the mops carefully aiming at it and once it seemed to stop walking around he casted at three others ''Finite! Finite! Finite!'' before he eyed the flying cups. Now he needed to deal with the cups. And since they flew around and everywhere, Ryan thought, it was the best way to wait for them to pass before him, instead of running after them. ''Aresto Momentum!'' he yelled at one and looked up curiously.

Good thnig it worked now, he needed to act faster than it so he casted the Homorphus Charm nonverbally and the little yellow bird flew around. Nice! After repeating the routine for two times he ignored the rest for he cleared the ones that were annoying him Ryan finally walked to the yellow potion.

''Hmmm...'' So, the daisy roots had not been chopped properly when this Shrinking Solution had been brewed. He grabbed the veil for leech juice and added some in then started to wait. After 5 minutesit turned a little bit of a lime green. Therefore the man added some more and waited till it was safely bright green. ''Nicely done!''

WHY, oh WHY, was it always him? At least it always seemed like it was him. And this was NOT funny! Samuel looked over at Wes, trying to avoid looking back at the little present the cute canary left on his shoulder. This little present had totally changed his mind about wanting to keep it as a pet, yep!

Sighing, he took his wand back out of his pocket, and then he headed out the door to the next challenge. He would be cleaning the mess of his shoulder before he visited the next Department Head, that was for sure.

Dorian had taken a few minutes to move on to the second task, after the first one had made him think about his fiancee and his past. It was hard to fully get past, even though it had been a while. Not only had he lost her, but getting your best friend arrested at the same time? Maybe he'd tried to distract himself with work too soon, if things kept reminding him even when they had no relation. He'd hardly ever been to England before now, but now he was here. And they expected him to get through this fair thing. At least he wanted to rescue the Minister and her undersecretary. So distraction set, he finally moved on to the next challenge.

Only to raise an eyebrow as he walked through the door into more chaos. And different chaos, which he had to admit was better than being forced to repeat the same thing over again. Isn't that the definition of insanity?, he wondered, before glancing at the large poster board near the man who was obviously running this party. He thought he actually remembered seeing him down in the conference hall, but he wasn't in his department. So introductions could wait. And at least this was more spell-casting. Dorian knew he could manage that.

Working his way into the room, he watched a mop lazily moving through the room and took his wand out to stop it, before he was forced to duck as a crazy teacup flew straight at his head. He was hoping to make friends, but definitely not with crazy flying teacups. and as he ducked, he managed to trip over a giant fuzzy ball and before he knew it was sitting on the floor with one leg half-lying over the fuzzball. Eyeing it for a second as he sat there, hoping he wasn't getting wet from the mops, he finally pointed his wand at the offending giant puffball. "Diminuendo," he cast, watching as it steadily shrunk down to a teeny pygmy puff. Standing back up finally, he picked the little fuzzball up, not sure how it might be useful although he was half tempted to toss it at the next teacup that tried to fly at his head, and turned to continue his trek through the room. "Aresto Momentum," he randomly cast at one of the mops, just because he could and the movement was irritating him, before he stopped near a table holding quills and a large cauldron.

Glancing inside, he rolled his eyes. Figured. Bad potion. Dropping the pygmy puff on the table next to the quills, he thought back to the poster at the other end of the room as he gazed at the almost fluorescent yellow liquid inside the cauldron. Seems like shrinking solution, so now to fix it, he thought then. Perhaps his disastrous former friendship would help for something, as Gabriel had been a bit of a disaster with potions, which he'd always tried to get Dorian to fix. Picking up a vial of leech juice, he tipped it so the smallest amount spilled into the potion. Glancing at his watch, he then looked over at the pygmy puff sitting there. "Well, this is fun," he murmured to the furry thing, before glancing at the potion again after five minutes. Still yellow, although it was a bit greener. Adding more leech juice, he settled in to wait again. Five more minutes later, he returned his attention to the potion to see it the familiar acid green of a properly brewed Shrinking Solution. Now to test it.

Glancing at the pygmy puff, he contemplated making it his test subject, before he shifted his hand to pick up a quill from the stack. Start with that, then maybe move on. Dipping the quill into the cauldron feather first, he let it slip entirely into the potion before he used his wand to levitate it. Definitely looked smaller. Letting it come to a rest on the table near a few other tiny quills, his grey eyes landed on the pygmy puff. Mmm, may as well. It could always be reversed later, if the man running the test had issues. Picking up another quill, he used it to carefully collect some droplets of the potion, on the feather, then moved it over the puffball to drip a couple drops onto it. as it seemed to get a bit smaller, he dropped the second quill on the table, then stepped away. No need to block the cauldron from the next person, and maybe his little test would go unnoticed.

He stated in reply to his first question with a firm nod.

"You need to know so that, if you ever DO need to fix a potion or brew it yourself, you don't accidentally make your head explode or something," Wes explained. True he'd never heard of a potion that actually DID that but...oh well.

Sighing and figuring that his small amount of cheerfulness was the best he was going to get out of him, Wes nodded. "Alright, you may proceed."

Ah, how could he forget about trying the potion. It was definitely because of those flying cups. They were distracting him. ''Sure, thank you'' he told the man and conjured a little potion veil and filled it with the bright green potion. Then he dropped a few of it on one of the quills which start to shrink the next moment. ''Ah nice''

Pippa had found her way up to the next level, and pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail when potions were mentioned. No need for her hair to be taking a bath in something unwanted. Mr. Kutcher seemed nice, and she gave him a little smile before heading off to do what this level and what he, asked of her.

Looking up just above her head as the sound of fluttering caught her ears, Pippa decided she was going to tackle the canary teacup things, whatever you could call them. Pulling her wand out again, she prepared herself to cast the two spells she needed to on them, before moving to find a spot where she could see the object she was going to cast upon. Of course, it was always good to check what was around foot level, and she hadn’t, ending up in a trip into a seat on a large toy thing.

Now that just wouldn’t do, things flying were fine, but she couldn’t HEAR these toys, and had now decided she was going to deal with the one that had caused her mildly embarrassing fall.

”Diminuendo!” The blonde cast, after scrambling from her little ‘seat’ to about another few metres from it, avoiding any other incredibly large pygmy puff things. Immediately after she had cast it, the object shrank to what she was perceiving as normal size, and picked it up in her hand before inspecting it. It was such a funny shape now, it was almost as if she preferred it bigger. Almost like a bean bag. Deciding to carry it with her to the next thing, so no one trod on the toy and her nice little work, Pippa headed in the direction of a cauldron.

A cauldron with … yellow liquid in it. Obviously she knew it was a Shrinking Solution gone wrong, and admired the pretty colour for one second; yellow was pretty. And then thought back to what was on the board, as to how to sort this problem out. ”Leech juice…” Pippa whispered to herself, and quickly hunted for some. She came across some in no time, and added some to the potion, once … and then another five minutes later, twice … and so on so forth … six times in total until it reached a shade of green she was happy with.

Grinning to herself, Pippa picked up a quill from the pile, and dropped it into the cauldron, watching it shriiiiink up. Hehe. That was cool.

Pierre eyes widened yikes! "Sorry!" he called smiling sheepishly turning again to the cauldron which had … yellow liquid in it. It was a Shrinking Solution gone wrong. ”Leech juice…” he dropped a few dropped every five minutes until it turned yellow sighing he added a quill. Please...let it shrink! he thought as the quill shrunk itself. He smiled and now wait for further instructions.

Alyssa had done it! She had managed to move on to the next challenge. Alyssa walked in to the room with a smile on her face and read the directions. Okay she needed to decide which household object she wanted to change back to normal…Okay the tea cups seems like a good idea. Alyssa pulled out her wand and dropped it on accident. “Oops!” Alyssa laughed at her own clumsiness and picked up her wand. Okay, “Aresto momentum” Alyssa said and waved her wand and watched as some tea cups slowed down, for about three second and then continued to go at warp speed. “Oh darn! ARESTO MOMENTUM!” Alyssa shouted this time and the tea cups slowed down and Alyssa reached out and grabbed a tea cup! “Finite” Alyssa said and watched as the tea cups turned back into canaries and flew above her head once again.

Okay one down now Alyssa needed to figure out her potion material, she was in trouble here. Alyssa wasn’t very good at potions, she never was. Okay…so she thought it looked something like a shrinking solution gone wrong. Okay…it said the potion looks a big yellow when the daisy roots aren’t properly chopped. Alyssa read the instructions it said to add leech juice every five minutes until the potion is green once more. And that what’s Alyssa did, she added leech juice for ten minutes dropped a quill in the cauldron and watched it shrink slightly. Not as much as Alyssa had hoped, but it was smaller. Emma walked silently into the room and looked around. It was quite a sight, things flying everywhere. Sighing to herself she stepped forward towards the first object, not knowing what was going to happen.

She picked the flying object, which was speeding to fast. Smiling to herself she lifted her wand and said loudly:

"Aresto Momentum" She lowered her wand slightly to see her spell react to the object. She saw it slow down, but she knew this wouldnt last. Without a moments breath she said loudly:

"Diminuendo"

Nothing happened, confused she stared at the object in front of her, which was starting to grow quicker. She suddenly remembered, Non Verbal. Raising her wand again she said in her head:

"Diminuendo"

Again she watch what happened, the teacup changed back to it oringinal state infront of her eyes, smiling she stepped forward towards the next part.

The potion gone wrong. She looked down at the yellow potion, chewing her lip as she thought. Stealing a glance at the quills she thought back to the board she had read before entering.

Yellow? Yellow? Yellow? Shrinking potion!

She knew what to do, she quitly serched around for ingreadiants. One in particular. Leech juice!

Picking it up she put a dash into the couldron, looking down at her watch to count he minutes.

One

She watched it ticking by

Two

Again it ticked

Three, Four, Five

She added another dasj of the juice. She continued to do this, the potion turning greener every five minutes. Finally it was green again.

She was done!

{imagine all you can be} [home is where the heart is]

Annabeth slipped into the room and listened to the Head. Well, this wasn't going to be too complicated. Right, on to the task. She was pretty sure Ryan was ahead of her, and she didn't want that to last long. Looking around the room, she couldn't help but giggle. her surroundings looked almost identical to the scene she had come home to the day Cyrek had come home from his first year at magic school. Looking upward, she saw an poorly transfigured tea cup that had sprouted wings. She'd need to fix that. She pointed her wand at the nearest unfortunate target, careful to follow its trajectory with her wand. "Aresto Momentum!" Once it had slowed down to a reasonable speed, she jumped to catch it. Curse that short gene! Once she'd caught it, Annabeth said the Homorphus Charm in her head, and watched as the poor thing turned back into a lovely, wriggling canary. As she set it free, oddly she thought of Niko. "Fly, pretty!"

Next, the potion bit. Peeking into the cauldron, she immediately identified the contents as a badly brewed Shrinking Solution. She'd done the same mistake multiple times in fourth year potions back in Greece. Let's see.. she needed leech juice, right? Right. She spotted some in a nearby table. Hmm... a pinch, then wait five minutes, she thought. She poured a tiny bit in the cauldron. it looked a little better, but would maybe need one more. She sat back and watched the others complete the first bit of the task before she turned back to the potion. She added just a pinch more, and waited five more minutes, just be sure. When she checked again, success! She levitated a quill over, and dropped it into the cauldron, hoping for the best. After a few seconds, she levitated the quill back out. The quill had turned to the size of three inches. There we go. Shrunk. She placed the quill away from the others that were still waiting to be shrunk.

Task completed, easier than Annabeth had foreseen. Watch out Ryan Chambers, here I come!

Bagel Bites Perpetually kept by Erin

Upon entering the room where the next challenge was to be held, Chris took a sustained glance around. Hmm, enlarged pygmy puffs, and giant cauldrons, that only shows this place has been surely messed up, Chris pondered to himself inwardly.

Chris then listened to the man's long but rather efficient instructions, mustering all the helpful ideas he could get from the host. And now it was time to proceed on the actual challenge. He hoped that it wouldn't cause any pain emotionally, mentally or physically at all.

What immediately caught his eye were all the enlarged toys scattered around and with the toys being widespread, it makes it hard for people to move on in the room. Well maybe, those enlarged toys would be the best thing to try some simple, fundamental spells on.

He vigorously took out his wand from its holster and then aimed it at the toy and he'd cast the spell one toy at a time. "Diminuendo!" exclaimed he, exerting enough force and making the right motion and or wand movement in order to perform the spell really well and with the enlarged pygmy puff toy retrieving its original size, that just an indication that he performed the spell well. He casted the spell at the other enlarged toys and now, it was easier to move and... to breath. "There see, isn't it nice that toys like these looks much better when they're on their original size."

He then enthusiastically moved forward to the incorrectly brewed potion. He identified the potion; it was meant to be a shrinking potion. Apparently, what went wrong with the solution was the roots being improperly chopped. And to able to fix the problem, he added one more dash of leech juice and added once more after five minutes and repeat the process again and again till the solution turn green. Finally, it had turned green. He then tried the shrinking solution on the quill and fortunately, it began to shrink.

Now he's done and would now move on to the next challenge.

Once the introduction speech was over, Madrigal walked into the next room which was in such disarray that she paused for a moment, almost struck motionless by what she was looking at. She ducked quickly as a frying pan nearly collided with her head and silently thanked whatever deity was listening for her quick Quidditch reflexes from school. Just as that thought passed through her mind, however, a mop swept in front of her, drenching her shoes in dirty water.

"Scourgify," she muttered, cleaning her shoes as the mop danced back to the middle of the room.

She ducked again as a Snitch flew toward her head but, when she looked up, she realized it wasn't a Snitch, but a poorly transfigured teacup-canary. Scowling to herself, she pointed her wand at the flock of tenaries and said, "Aresto Momentum!"

The group of tenaries slowed down to an almost comical pace and she zapped two or three of them with a quick Homorphus Charm, turning them back into birds before the slowing spell wore off and the rest of the tenaries started zooming around the ceiling at breakneck speeds again.

Walking toward the cauldron at the other end of the room then, she took a look at the contents as well as the ingredients nearby and tried to deduce what the potion had originally been intended to be. "Quills..." she muttered to herself, thinking hard. She noticed, then, the half-used jar of undiluted Bubotuber Pus and a decanter of honeywater nearby and, putting it together with the quills off to one side, knew that this was supposed to have been a potion for making Self-Inking Quills in which too many beetles' eyes had been added.

She stirred the pot four times counterclockwise and once clockwise before adding two drops of the Bubotuber Pus and two splashes of the honeywater. She stirred four times counterclockwise and once clockwise again and the potion started bubbling lightly at the color turned from bright yellow to pale green.

She added two scruples of knotgrass and the potion almost immediately began turning to a dark blue as she continuously stirred clockwise. After twelve rotations, she removed the stirring rod and added an eagle owl feather. As she added the feather, it dissolved in the bubbling potion, which stopped bubbling after the feather had completely dissolved. The potion was now a dark blue, almost black color. She took a quill and just barely dipped to the tip of it into the potion.

Taking a slip of paper out of her pocket, she flattened it on the table holding the ingredients and wrote her name in neat handwriting on the piece of paper, smiling satisfactorily.

Oh yay! Someone was just flying through this level! "Excellent, you may go on," he told her.

OOC: Wait for a PM with further instructions.

Alyssa raised her hand to show that she was done….

Uh oh. The canary that this woman had just used Finite on popped back into a teacup! "I don't think that spell is strong enough for that...try something else, maybe?" he said. Hint hint. Wink wink. Tee hee.

Oh no. This one seemed a bit confused. "Your potion is perfectly fine, however, I don't think that's the correct spell to transform things back into their original form," he said, turning to the board once more.

Wes blinked. He'd never seen that before! The woman had taken the bad potion and turned it into ink! WOW! Amazing! But, as amazing as it was--that wasn't what he was looking for.

"While I do admire your potioning skills, that was not the desired potion," he said, waving his wand and summoning over a new potion with a nice, yellow liquid inside. "Try again!"
