Larry did the paperwork slowly, and it was really boring. After every five minutes he opened the folder he was given and did some of the questions that were asked. Larry was begging that it will be dark outside so he could finish for the day but the sun wasn't on his side, it was shining and was probably not going to let the moon rise.

It was beginning to get dark outside but Larry didn't notice it. He was working on the paperwork for hours and he already finished doing the folder he was given. He was tired but he wanted to finish the paperwork. It was about midnight and Larry was nearly asleep he did the paper hardly knowing what he was doing. When he began to finished he already put his inkwell in his bag. When he finished the awful amount of paperwork he put everything in his bag and walked out of the room tiredly hoping to be in a bed soon.

A paper airplane flies into the room and comes to a rest on your desk, unfolding and smoothing out to reveal...

Larry entered the room with a small folder that the division head had given him. As he searched for his division head he saw on all the desks a piece of paper from the control of magical creatures. He began reading the message slowly trying to understand the dim handwriting. Well the Quidditch world cup had started a few days ago but probably he still needed to do the job. He waited patiently in the room for the Division head to arrive.

Violet walked into the offices holding a paper. She had caught an extra World Cup memo as it flew through the air in front of her. She pored over it as she walked, not having read it yet. It seemed that the final letter sent to the Minister had been almost exactly what she and Chad had devised together. Though she sort of had to squint to be able to read the small print, the message being delivered was clear enough. She stopped walking to fold up the memo and tuck it into the depths of her robes, and looked up. She had been so immersed in reading that she had completely forgotten what she was doing. As she looked around frowning, tring to remember, she noticed that the same memo had been laid on most of the desks. Good.

Larry noticed the division head walking into the room with the same letter that was laid on his desk. Well actually every desk had that parchment on it's desk. Larry walked towards Violet and said, "Um... Violet I finished all my paperwork and, well... that's it," he said not asking yet about the parchment that was send to all the ministry. As much as despised working at the ministry it was way more fun then his two muggle jobs he had even though he still goes to the muggle world once a week or two.

Violet looked up absently at the sound of her own name, still thinking of other things. "Hm...? Oh. Oh, forgive me, my mind was occupied. I walked in here and then forgot why I walked in here." She shook her head, smiling at herself. "All right, good work Larry. You'll probably have more to do tomorrow, but I don't have anything more for you today. Why don't you head to the break room and relax?" she suggested. Violet came to the conclustion that she had walked in by accident, intending to be somewhere else. "And, since I haven't talked to you since the day we met, how is everything going? Woulds you like help with anything?" she offered.

Don't give into the injustice. Stand up and walk out for what you believe. Join the hundreds of Wizarding Workers who are opposed the Ministry's prejudice against those who are different! Vannessa poked her head into the room. No one seemed to be there, so she sat down at one of the desks and began to do one of her favorite things- reading about animals/magical creatures.

On the next day Larry entered the regular room which he worked nearly every day. As he walked in he saw a new person or as he calls them, "newbies." "Hi," he said to the women sitting down reading a book. He seated himself next to his desk and waited for something to happen.

"Hi!"Vannessa replied cheerily. She looked at the man, he seemed a bit bored. "I'm Vannessa Arkman. And you are?" she asked him.

"I'm Larry Turner," he said smiling to Vanessa. "Hope you have a good time hear because I am," he lied. He was having a good time really but he misses his son and family. He turned to the window and looked at the blue sky he was glad it was spring finally he'd be able to use his owl again.

Vannessa sighed. "Do you know if anything is going to happen today? Because, it's my first day here, and this office is supposed to be exciting, right? Also, are we allowed to go to the break room after a while? I've been reading here for almost an hour." She put down her book and looked expectantly at Larry.

"Well if you'll be lucky something will happen, but there are some very extraordinary cases in this office," he said to Vanessa with with a small smile. He sat down on his desk waiting for the division head to give him something to do.

"Really?" she replied. "Have you been involved in anything interesting lately?" She looked eagerly at Larry, she loved to hear exciting stories about people's past.

Misty had been walking around the fourth floor for what seemed like hours. In reality in had only been about ten minutes. She just couldn't seem to find where she was supposed to be. 'Pest Advisory & Disposal of Dangerous Creatures.' Aha! Here is was. With her cat at her heels, Misty walked in the room. Good thing she worked in the Magical Creatures department. Cats should be allowed, right? Well the cat wouldn't leave her alone anyway. She did leave him home, he just found her.

Oh people were here. Well what did she expect, really. 'Hello.' Misty went to an empty desk and placed all her belongings there before turning to her fellow co-workers. 'Misty Del Rossa.' Such a great introduction.

"Oh, hello there Misty! It's great to meet you!" Vannessa called out. "I'm Vannessa, Vannessa Marie Arkman. I'm new too. Oh, I see you have a cat? I love cats!" Vannessa concentrated for a minute, and then with a swishing sound, she transformed into a cute tawny Abyssinian cat and rubbed noses with Misty's. "Meow, meow, mew."

'Hello Vanessa, its nice to meet you.' This was a very happy woman. 'Yes, he's my cat. His name is Poseidon. He follows me everywhere.' In fact, the cat was worse than having a puppy, or a child.

Misty watched as the woman started to concentrate really hard. 'What is she doing?' Oh, of course. 'You're an animagus!' A cat too, hmm. 'You might want to watch doing that around him.' she joked while pointing to her cat.

Vannessa transformed back. "Yeah, I started learning how to become one in seventh year. Poseidon, hm? Well, that's a nice name!" She turned around and pointed at the man still sitting at the desk. "That's Larry Turner. He's a bit bored right now."

Vannessa stood up and paced around the room a few times, before stopping again at her desk, picking up the book she had been reading earlier, and got to it again.

Oh great. Misty had got a job in a boring department. 'How long have you been here?' Misty asked Vanessa after she watched her pace to room and grab a book. Misty would have to go to Diagon Alley later and pick up some books. Especially if everyone was bored. Well for now, she will just unpack her things.

"Just a couple of hours, but I've learned a lot. Larry says that exciting things are supposed to happen here, but nothing's happened yet."

Vannessa turned to Larry. "Hey, do you know if we can go to Diagon Alley?" she asked him. "I've got some things I still need to pick up."

"Of course you can," he said to Vannessa waking up from his day dream. "Good thing that you reminded me about Diagon Alley I need to go there too," he said to her getting ready for leaving the room. "Bye," he said to her leaving the room.

Vannessa turned to Misty. "Well, I guess I'll see you soon!" She exited the room and started towards Diagon Alley.

Larry early in the morning entered the large room quietly. He was suppose to leave the Ministry in about four to three hours if he wanted to get in time to the Quidditch world cup. He knew this great short cut to the stadium but he had to stop at his small home before flying there. In the mean while he decided to get a little work done. He gave his wand a swish and out of his bag flew two books about magical creatures and and inkwell with a quill stuck to the side of the inkwell. Larry sat down on his chair and began reading one of the books.
