Love: Teddy and Victoire - Sa16+
 

Hey this is the first part of my first story. None of these characters are mine- they belong to J.K. Rowling. However, I made up a few, and the plot is mine.

''Will you marry me?'' He asked. I couldn't believe it. He, Teddy Lupin, had asked me, Victoire Weasley, to marry him.
His glistening eyes bored into mine while I just stood looking at him. I must have looked like a right fool, just standing there when he had just popped the 'big question'.
''Yes, of course.'' I had just realised at that moment what I had said, I had said yes. All I remember thinking was that I was an engaged woman. Wow! We were now engaged! He is my fiancé!
The next thing I know I am being kissed passionately by the most amazing man in my life. My fiancé to be exact. After a long embrace and a little more kissing he, as any wizard, conjured up a black box. I must have had a strange look of shock on my face because Teddy waved his hand in my face and was smiling. He opened the box and all I could think of was fainting. It was looking at me, pulling me towards it. It was a platinum band with a petite diamond set in the middle. It was beautiful, sparkly and most importantly mine.
Teddy took hold of my left hand and slid the ring onto that all important finger. Now that I think about it that hand has been through loads. When I was eight Mum dropped a vase on it due to a dodgy Hover Charm, Granny Weasley had to fix it with that wonderful book of hers. Michael Pott had crushed it in third year at the Hogwarts Quidditch final. I was Gryffindor Chaser, he a Slytherin beater who wasn’t the best at steering. Now that hand had an engagement ring on it.
Teddy had a great look of achievement on his face. No wonder, he had just succeeded in proposing to me. After taking a stroll along the beach we went to Shell Cottage. My parents would have had to have found out at some point. When I knocked on the door instead of walking in as usual I finally remembered that we would have to find a house somewhere. This was no longer my house to stay in. It felt very strange.
Dad was still for all the Secret Keeper malarkey so we always had to answer a question before being let in. He still had some fight in him! Mum told me that ever since he was bitten he has always been very protective. She told me that when Uncle Fred died he became the strong man in the family. Everybody still looks up to him, even Uncle Harry! We answered the question of ‘when is your mother’s birthday?’ and I replied ‘26th May’ meaning we were able to come in. Dad is not allowed to ask the question of ‘which werewolf bit me just before the Battle of Hogwarts?’ if Teddy is there. The first time he asked us that Teddy just went off in one. He thought that dad was trying to criticise him.
Mum had grown to like Celestina Warbeck and her music due to Granny’s persuasion. When we walked in she was listening to the wireless and a Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love. She was humming along when I walked over to her armchair. Without speaking I raised my left hand and sat it on top of hers. She took a huge breath and just looked at me............


Well? How is it? Give me ideas that make sense please. I know what is going to happen in the next two or so but I need some more plans. Leave your comments please!

I really appreciate all the readers so far. There isn’t very many but I hope there soon will be.

‘‘Oh my Victoire!’’ Mum exclaimed in her now semi-French accent. ‘‘Well this is a surprise.’’ She jumped off of her seat and nearly strangled me with one of her warm hugs.
Dad came through from the kitchen, having heard the news that his daughter was getting married, and congratulated us both, unfortunately he didn’t seem as thrilled as Mum. Maybe it reminded him of his ruined wedding day, I wasn’t really sure. What if he thought that I hadn’t picked the right man? Or he was being a normal Dad and thinking that I was ‘too young’. Well if he had known what I had previously done he may have had a fit.
Mum admired my ring for at least an hour then got Butterbeers from the kitchen. Dad changed his for a Firewhisky and drank a glass in one. There must be something up, I thought. I just left it though.
After that we went out a walk and then back to Shell Cottage where Dad insisted that Teddy gets the spare room.

After a good night sleep, Teddy thought that maybe we should go and see Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry. He said that they ought to know as Harry was his godfather and all.
So, after we got dressed all four of us apparated to Grimmauld Place. The street was still its peculiar self as the numbering was still weird. Muggles thought that the numbers were just a little mixed up but the wizarding community knew that Number 12 Grimmauld Place was completely invisible unless you know where it is. Uncle Harry had inherited the house from his godfather when he died. Sirius Black, he was called. He was friends with both Harry’s dad and Teddy’s. There were four fiends at school but unfortunately all of them were now dead. Unfortunately nobody knows who killed Remus Lupin or Nymphadora Tonks (Teddy’s parents) as they both were killed at the Battle of Hogwarts straight after Teddy was born.
When we got inside we were greeted by the kids. Lily, Albus and James. Lily was the youngest and was due to start Hogwarts in a matter of weeks. Albus had started two years ago, so would be starting his third year and James was about to start his seventh and final year.
‘‘James, I have some news for you.’’ Said Teddy. James and Teddy were quite close as there weren’t much between them. People used to see them as brothers. ‘‘Actually, we have some news for you all.’’
‘‘Aw cool, what is it?’’ James had the exact same attitude as Uncle Ron. He spoke the same as him and found things really ‘cool’ all the time.
‘‘Well, we are engaged! James I would love it if you would be my best man!’’ Teddy was ecstatic as he exclaimed the news.
At that moment Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry along with Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron came running up from the kitchen very excitedly. We were all still standing in the hall and we were all packed together tightly.
‘‘Come in to the living room you old bunch of sillies!’’ Said Aunt Ginny, pretending to be slightly annoyed but revealing, through her eyes, that she was whizzing!

We were all sittting in the Potter's livingroom having a great laugh. Giggles filled the room.
My cousins Rosie and Hugo had come back from their Granny and Granda Granger's house and were now here too. Granny Weasley had been sent an owl and she was drinking some tea and chatting about her wedding day.
''I just wish that Arthur was here to recall the story with me. It feels like sucha lonely day when I realise that we won't ever be able to recite our vows to each other again.'' At this her eyes welled up and Rosie ran over to hug her.
We were all used to her sobbing at the mention of Grandpa, I was actually surprised that Auntie Hermione hadn't started yet. She usually joins in after seconds.Grandpa Weasley had died a year ago. It was very bad, Granny still blames herself.
''That stupid motorbike!'' She always said.
Rosie was now rubbing Granny's hand whilst Lily was using a handkerchief to wipe her face. All us grandkids are really lovely to Granny because we know that everything is so difficult for her. The woman has lost a son, has a son scarred by a werewolf and lost her husband. Then that huge house all to herself, with the occasional visitors of course.
We all find it difficult to comprehend that Grandpa is gone because it was such a big shock. He was in the garage at the Burrow with my younger cousin Henry, Uncle George and Auntie Katie's son- well one of them, when the bike just gave him a shock. Mum ran down the stairs when she heard Henry screaming 'Granda, wake up!' Poor kid, he said that he pushed the big purple button so that Granny wouldn't blame Grandpa for his own death and resent him for it but Granny knew exactly what happened.
''I can't believe that your own grandfather is going to miss your wedding day. It is just so horrible.''
''Just remember Molly that Remus or Tonks will not be there for Teddy either.'' Said Uncle Harry.
''I am so sorry Theodore, I really am. I am just very upset at the moment, sorry.''
''Please Mrs Weasley, call me Teddy. I am fine, I never met my parents so I really don't mind that they won't be able to see me get married to the most amazing woman who I love dearly.'' He sounded quite frustrated as he said this, this lead to an awkward silence disturbed by Hugo and Albus having thumb wrestles.
''I know a way that your parents can be at your wedding!'' Said Uncle Harry.''Do you remember the stories that I told you when you were younger Ted?''
''Course. The beedle ones? Yeah sure. The best are the Deathly Hallows.''
''That was the exact story that I was meaning, you know I told you that that story was a fake, well it is real.''
''What? You mean that I should use that stone thing to bring them back? I need to plan a wedding not go on an adventure for a missing stone!''
''Well I could probably show you exactly where it is, I have the same nightmare about it every night.''
''Really, so they really are more than a picture? My parents I mean.''


Well? What do you think? Sorry someone had to die!

Hey everyone! I know it’s late. Sorry!
I was trying to make Bill unhappy about something until I figured that I didn’t know what to do.
This chapter you will realise that Bill is just a normal dad. Is that alright?
Oh, and finally some George action!
Woo hoo!
Oh and Colin Creevey didn’t die OK?

‘‘Hello! Anybody in?’’ I was in the living room and I heard Uncle George’s voice from the door.
‘‘Coming.’’ I leapt from the couch that I was sharing with Teddy and opened the door.
Uncle George, Auntie Katie, Fred and Henry were all standing out in the rain. They were all soaked! Both Fred and Henry must have just been to Quidditch practice as they were wearing their Puddlemere United Juniors robes. Fred was Beater and Henry was Chaser. They both take after their parents, very talented flyers and each the double of their parents. Fred had vibrant red hair, the same squishy nose as his Dad and the lankiness as well. Henry had Aunt Katie’s black hair and lovely jaw line; he was a little more filled out - if you know what I mean. Fred was to start fourth year this September and Henry second.
‘‘Hey Vic, sorry we didn’t come sooner but you know – work and jumbling everything. Congratulations! Where is your man?’’ George said this as Teddy came out from the living room. ‘‘Ted. Speak of the devil!’’
The hall was then filled with ‘Teddy!’ by the boys. Aunt Katie gave me a hug while George shook Teddy’s hand. Then we all swapped.
Dad and Mum were in the Leaky cauldron so the house was empty except for us, obviously. Katie and I were speaking about weddings. We were remembering her wedding day, what a day, what a disaster. I was flower girl and I flung bundles of flower petals at people on my way down the aisle. Then I tripped Katie up and she fell on to Granny, needing Uncle Charlie to get Granny a strong Firewhisky and Aunt Katie’s mum to magically sew up the hem of the bride’s dress right there and then. The photographer, Colin Creevey took pictures of every guest and blinded them all. Oh, St. Mungo’s was very busy that night.
The rain had stopped so George had gotten the boys’ brooms out of his pocket, all the guys were outside. Katie was trying to explain to me whereabouts in Diagon Alley she had bought her dress when I decided to ask her.
‘‘Do you remember my Dad ever being annoyed at any of his younger siblings getting married? Like Uncle George or Ron for example’’ She seemed a bit puzzled by this question but she answered anyway.
‘‘Don’t worry if your Dad hasn’t congratulated you yet! It really is no big deal, you will have a congratulation by the morning.’’
Maybe I should ask Aunt Ginny. She is his sister.’’
‘‘Yeah do that. She will be able to tell you what her Dad said.’’

Hey, I am really sorry!
I know it is late; typically my Grandparents’ connection wouldn’t work for my laptop so I am just typing it just now. I really am sorry. Well here goes.

‘‘Aunt Ginny!’’ I was standing outside in Grimmauld Place, chapping constantly.
‘‘I am really sorry Vic. I am just coming!’’
The door opened and Ginny’s red hair greeted me. She was wearing Muggle clothes, like me, which wasn’t unusual for the Potters. Her white t-shirt had a patch of blood on it and I was instantly worried.
‘‘Aunt Gin. What happened to you? Have you hurt yourself?’’ I said with a very panicky voice
‘‘Don’t worry about me, worry about Lily. I just used a whole bottle of Dittany to stop her head bleeding. James just stabbed her with the end of his quill!’’ Now she was very angry.
‘‘James Potter! I can’t believe you did that. Why?’’ I couldn’t believe it! My little cousin had stabbed his own sister, my other little cousin. I don’t even have a sister but I know that I wouldn’t stab her if I did.
‘‘I am trying to write an essay for Potions and she kept bugging me!’’ James and Lily had come downstairs and were now sitting on the couch opposite me in the living room.
‘‘You could have just asked her to go bug Albus instead, or better, asked your mum to keep her occupied until you were done.’’
‘‘You don’t think that I tried everything before turning to violence?! It was totally out of frustration and I am sorry Lily and Mum.’’
‘‘Hmmm.’’
‘‘And Victoire. Hold on, what did I do to you?’’
‘‘You frustrated me. Anyway Ginny I was hoping to ask you something.’’
..............................
‘‘Bill is being Bill. Come on I grew up knowing that because I was the only girl, that nobody would be happy with who I married. You are their only child; they have one girl, one chance to make things perfect. It might not be because they don’t like Ted. In fact, it is definitely not that. He might just be a normal Dad.’’
‘‘Really? I thought it might have something to do with the whole werewolf thing. What do you think?’’
‘‘That might be part of it. He has probably realised that both of you are partly werewolf, in one way or another and is afraid of the outcome when it comes to children. You really never know until you ask him. He really needs to remember that being partly werewolf doesn’t make you a bad person.’’
We were alone in the kitchen in Grimmauld Place with a cup of tea. I was helping Ginny hang up some washing, magically of course, on the line on the ceiling.
‘‘Thanks. You make everything really positive. Change of subject. Lets focus on you and your family. Where are Harry and Albus? I haven’t seen them today.’’
‘‘Well Harry got called into some emergency training thing for the new employees and Albus was desperate to go with him. So they are away for a few hours today.’’
The conversation continued with these types of questions then it was time for me to head. You only get so many days of holidays off work during the Summer and I still had a report to write for the Prophet. Oh, and I have to talk to that father of mine.

''Daddy, I'm home!'' I was so nervous, afraid of the answer.
''In the livingroom.''
''Hey, how are you?'' Starting off with the usual.
''Fine. You?'' Fantastic, not wanting to have any conversation at all.
''I am good. Can I ask you something?'' I decided just to go for it.
''Course. What is it?''
''What is your problem?'' The cheeky and frustrated tone was coming up.
''What do you mean by 'my problem'?'' Oh, so he wanted to play that kind of game!
''I shouldn't have to tell you. What is your problem with the fact that I love Teddy?''
''Well honey, it's just--''
''Don't give me the usual dad crap and don't call me honey!''
''Well do you want to be called something else? I am not going to talk the Dad crap! OK? I just think that you are young. That is all. You could have waited to get your career on full track.''
''What is that supposed to mean? Being the Quidditch columnist for the Prophet isn't good enough, every witch and wizard reads my work!''
''I don't mean it like that. You know that I am proud of your achievements.''
''What is it then?! I need to know.''
''Do you know why your mother and I called you Victoire?''
''Of course. You were victorious against Voldemort just before Mum fell pregnant with me.''
''Have you ever thought of what we were implying for your benefit?''
''No. It is just a name!''
''We were hoping that you would be victorious in all areas of life.''
''Like school and stuff?''
''And work, love and hopefully a family.''
''This is all about my name? You don't think that Ted is right for me do you? I haven't been 'victorious' in who I have chosen!''
''Partly yes. I just know that you could have waited and found someone else.''
''I can't believe you. UHHHHH!''
''Hello. I'm home!'' Saved by the French accent of Mum.
As she walked in the room I stormed out, pushing past her.

When I got to my room I sent an owl to Teddy. I needed him badly, desperately.
Within minutes Quaffle came back with a note telling me to pack a bag, he was coming to get me. Just like he had told me, I packed a bag with the usual toiletries, jammies, clothes and some food stolen from the kitchen. I went back to get my half-finished report for work then went to the garden. Nobody heard me, fortunately. I had my wand at the ready to Stun Dad if he saw me.
I knew exactly where I was going. Teddy's apartment in the heart of London. Easy access to the Ministry where Ted worked as Kingsley Shacklebolt's, the Minister, right hand man. He was always away, lets hope that he gets off for the wedding. The balconty was right above the river Thames and it overlooked Big Ben and the Parliament. It was just beautiful. The chimes don't ring during the night on Big Ben as Teddy charmed it not to, Muggles can hear it but not wizards.

We had travelled by broom, Ted's Dumbledore Express 101, to the apartment. It had been raining so we were pretty wet and were drying off in the kitchen.
''I really don't care about what your bloody name is!''
''Thanks honey!''
''I was named after my Grandfather but also a stuffed bear and I turned out absolutely fine!''
''I know, you turned out more than fine.''
We were now lounging on the big couch together just relaxing. Ted was drawing fireworks in the air with his wand and making shows. My head was on his chest and it was extremely comforting. I kissed his neck and he kissed my forehead.

''Do you know what Vic? You could do with some sleep, actually so could I.''
''Oh really. Well I think I need carried to the bedroom.''
And with that Teddy lifted me up, ran into the room, flung me on the bed and slammed the door shut with his foot.

Its just because my head was full of plans so i just went for it!

I dont think ive ever written whats in my hed straight onto here.
I write it up on either paper or on my laptop...then i re-read and make some corrections...Takes a long time i know...but...and anyway..i come up with most of my ideas while im getting ready for bed.

I woke up feeling loved. For a first time, that was incredible, I thought. I stretched out and ran my hand along Teddy's pillow. My hand searched for him but he was gone.
''Teddy. Where are you?'' Typical. I lose my fiance after our first night of 'you know what'. ''Ted!''
I sat up and grabbed all items of clothing from the floor, I was still yelling for him. I checked around the flat, the bathroom, other bedroom and the livingroom. When I got to the kitchen I saw him.
There he was. Wearing only jeans. How lucky am I? He was singing, dancing and cooking me breakfast. The Forever Knights' new song was blasting from the wireless playing their new song 'Blow out my fire'. Uncle Harry, Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione went to school with the lead singer. He is some Irish guy that loves Quidditch.Can't remember his name.
Ted didn't notice me when I walked in so I decided to take the opportunity to scare him. I sneaked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. I went on my tip-toes and kissed his cheek. He replied with a kiss on the lips and I replied with full on major passion.
''I loved the dancing and singing.'' I giggled and his face reddened very quickly.
''Oh, you saw that?'' He looked so embaressed, my poor fiance.

We walked into the manor and I fell in love with it instantly.
''Isn't this just the perfect wedding venue?'' The host was showing us around the place.

''Aunt Hermione. Are you here?'' I had let myself in and was walking down the hall of 36 Godric's Hollow.
''Oh, hey Vic. I thought I heard someone come in. What's up?'' Uncle Ron was still his lanky self and his fiery hair had gone slightly weaker and older at the edges. He was still humourless, kind of, and took nothing seriously.
''Just came to talk to Hermione. Is she about?'' I hoped so!
''Sorry Vic. She is in Diagon Alley with the kids, just getting the rest of the school stuff. You know what it is like. All back to school in a week!''
''Oh, that's fine. I was just about to head there after I talked to her. I might see her there.'' Oh, please yes.
''Do you want to ring her on her mobile?''
''Don't you remember that you two are the only ones with those things. I can't work it.''
I know, I'll call it. You speak. Tell her to meet you somewhere.''

I saw her with my little cousins in Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour sitting at a table for four. Rosie and Hugo were starting their ice cream and were beginning to get hyper already.
''Hey Hermione!''
''Hello angel! Are you alright?''
''Kind of. I need to talk to you, please.''
''Alone?'' I nodded. ''Kids here is some money, go to the Emporium and get owl, cat and rat food.''
''OK. Can we go to the Quidditch shop and stare at the latest brooms for ages?''
''Sure. Stick with eachother. If either of you have to found by the Young Witch or Wizard Protectors I won't be happy.''
''Yes Mum.'' I could tell that they were told this quite often and were quite bored of it.

''Do you really think so? Are you sure?''
''Yes. All the signs are there. I have enogh evidence, don't I?''
''Yes you do actually. Same symptoms as anyone I've known to be pregnant.''
''Well I was wondering if you would accompany me to St. Mungo's please.''
''Yes Vic. I'll get the kids home first. We will go to George's shop and ask him to apparate them.''
''Thank you Hermione, really.''
''No bother.''

We went to the shop and asked George to accompany them home. He knew not to ask why so he just did it. We waited for his return and then walked out. The shop was still a joke shop but with a different name. It was no longer called Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. It's new name was now FRED. It stands for Fake.Rats.Edible.Disasters.
Also it represents the huge loss in the shop. Obviously.

St. Mungo's was very busy as we were leaving.
''I don't know how to tell anyone. It is really scary.''
''I gave Ron a huge meal for the first one and wrote a note on a piece of parchment and slid it under his cutlery.''
''That is so lovely. Shame I can't and don't cook.''
''Well just tell him, it will be fine.''

''Teddy!'' I was so nervous.
''In the livingroom.''
As I walked in he pulled me into a hug.
''You might want to sit down.'' I said this while being hugged.
''OK. What is wrong?'' He pulled me with him to the couch.
''I'm going to have a baby. Our baby.''

He was beaming. This was what I had hoped for. He took the picture and just stared at it. There was nothing there yet obviously, I was only two weeks, but it was still amazing to see. There was a baby growing inside of me.
As soon as I thought of this the tears started to come. Teddy was right there for me. His eyes started to well up too.
''I hope they are happy tears?'' I asked him whilst blubbering.
''They sure are. What about you? I hope they are happy tears too.''
''Of course. Then there is part of me that is scared, nervous, scared and petrified.''
''Why, I will be there the whole time. Please don't worry.''
''I have the responsibility for the next 9 months to keep this baby alive. That is quite a scary thought you know.''
''Well, when I proposed to you, I was scared because I wold have to keeep you alive for eternity. I know how you feel minus the sickness and nausea and the -''
''OK. Thanks. I had that talk with Hermione in her kitchen thanks.''
''Sorry. Are we keeping this to ourselves for now?''
''I want to. Just a week or so.''
''Sure my darling, anything.''
And with that he kissed my head and let me lie on him on the couch until we both fell asleep.

I woke with a blanket wrapped around me and I was in a bed not on the couch.
''Hey sweetie. That couch will be too uncomfortable for you at the moment. I was afraid to carry you incase I hurt you so I levitated you here.''
''Thanks. Did I just have a very strange dream?''
''What. We just booked our wedding venue and we will have to get a refund as you just found out that you were preganant?''
''I wasn't dreaming then. Will we bring the wedding forward slightly? I was thinking, this Christmas?''
''Yes, that sounds great. I will have to go for a few days. I was speaking to Harry this morning. Rubeus Hagrid is allowing us to stay at his house where we are in perfect distance to the forest. I will send him an owl just now.''
''No!'' I sat up and moved closer to him. ''You can't tell him that I'm pregnant through an owl, silly.''
''You're right. I'll say that we found the perfect venue, that is true, and we have booked it for the 24th of December, which is also true.''
''It is? I just told you there that we would have to move it.''
''Well, I took the liberty of doing it myself. I know you Vic, I knew you would really want a Christmas Wedding.''
''Oh, thankyou Ted. You really are an angel.'' I kissed him and then got up from the bed.''What food have we got?''
''Here come the cravings.''
''Hey, not funny.'' I hit his arm as I raided the cupboards.

Just as Teddy had said, the cravings started coming fast. Broom Bites Cereal was all I could eat for the third week until I started eating everything. Teddy would cook for me while I lay on the couch, feeling hungry and weak. Hermione came to visit everyday, she was still the only person that knew. We had one more day of secrecy then the week was over.

The owl flew out of the window towards Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny's house. It stated:


Dear Potters,
You are invited to Teddy and Victoire's appartment for dinner this evening. We really hope that you can all come. Yes, even you Harry- no emergency Auror work and don't take Albus with you this time. Everyone has to be here, we need to talk to everyone.
Hope to see you tonight.
PS. Don't worry, we are extending the kitchen table.

Then we sent one to the Granger-Weasley family, Granny Weasley, the Bell-Weasley family, my parents, Ted's Gran Tonks, Charlie and his wife and Percy. Uncle Percy still wasn't married and wasn't planning to be. Uncle Charlie's wife was unable to have children so they were in the middle of an adoption process to get a three-year old girl called Josie from Belgium.

The flat would be extremely busy tonight and I had to get the house tidy. Teddy was away getting some work done so that he wouldn't be called out and he would be back in a few hours.

I swept the floors, cleaned everything and prepared the food. It took me a while to figure out what I should serve as I had to pick something that agreed with me and the rest of the family. The whole time that I was alone I was hoping that Dad's reaction wouldn't be too bad. Just as I thought of this an owl came through the kitchen window. It was addressed:

To Victoire Weasley, only to be opened by her!

I recognised the writing straight away.
It was my father.


Vic,
Just to let you know that your mother will be attending alone tonight. I haven't forgiven your attitude from the other week. Actually it is probably close to a month now since I have seen you.
Whatever it is that you two need to share your mother can tell me.


As soon as I got to the end of the letter I sat down on the couch and started to cry. It must have been for quite a while because I heard Teddy open the door and come in to the living room.
''Vic, what is it? What happened? Are you hurt?''
''I'm fine, don't worry. It's Dad. He is letting Mum attend tonight by herself. He would rather she told him what we had to say.''
''That is just ridiculous. Why is he always such a bother?''
''Don't ask me.''
The emotions and moodiness were coming through very quickly.

Hermione, Ron, Hugo and Rose turned up first of course. She took me aside and asked me the usual.
''Been sick today? Feeeling dizzy? Crying?'' She was the best Aunt in the world. She really should have been a Healer, she is a fab Auror but she is so caring.
''No to the sickness, felt slightly dizzy after the cleaning that I did and definitely tears. Dad isn't going to show.''
''Ahhh, I see. Ron asked me if I knew something that I didn't today.'' She had a slightly worried face on.
''What did you say?''
''I'm sorry Vic, but I eventually had to tell him.''
''Don't worry about it. I know how much he presses for answers. Remember my first boyfriend?''
''Oh, yeah.'' We laughed together as the others started to arrive.

how old are Teddy and Victoire?

EMMMM........
Well, say that at the end of the Deathly Hallows, James was going into 4th year,
Teddy had just finished school and Victoire was in her last year.
That means that Teddy is twenty-one (i think) and Vic is 20 (maybe) because this is now James going into seventh year. I think that that is what I said!?
I'll check that for you.
I am so stupid, I really should have mentioned this info at the start.

I said that in the first post that it was two years ago that Albus Sevrus started Hogwarts AKA the end of the hallows.
Sooo.......
That means that they are twentyish. Teddy being one year older than Vic.

We all sat down to dinner, squeezing in to the cramped room. We hadn't even thought of the room space, just the size of the table.

''You know you two, I would have happily had us all in the Burrow, it is certainly warm enough in the garden.'' Granny Weasley had said this to me about six times already, it was starting to get incredibly annoying!

''I know Grandma, to be honest - I hadn't even thought of that. That would have been nice. Thanks.'' I smiled as if to just grin and bear the sickness I was feeling and the annoyance of my forgetful Granny. She was turning into an older, female Professor Longbottom.

''Yes, you already said that Tori.'' She remembers that then, doesn't she? She calls me Tori, it used to be dead annoying but now I'm used to it. She is the only one in the family that calls me that.

Teddy sat next to me, holding my hand. I could feel his hands shaking. He kept glancing at me, as if checking to see if I had fainted yet.

''Honey. I am absolutely fine, stop checking.'' I whispered, smiling - this time for real.

He squeezed my hand in reply and went back to eating the amazing Shepherds Pie that I had made for us all.

''As you all probably noticed on your letters, it mentions that we would like to tell you all something.'' Said Teddy, after giving his glass a little tap with his spoon.

''Yes. This you prepearing for your wedding speech Ted?'' Commented Uncle George.

''No, actually he isn't. We need to share a few things with you all.'' I was so nervous, I had stood up too fast, making myself very dizzy.''Firstly, the wedding will be on Christmas Eve this year. We know that it is very soon but I have always wanted a Winter wedding. It will only be the people sitting here, my friends, Ted's friends and if any cousins would like to bring a friend then you can send them an owl and tell me names. OK?''

The kids seemed thrilled about this. I thought it would be nice for them.

''Secondly, my two flowergirls will be Lily and Rosie.''

''Yeahhhh!''

''My bridesmaids will be Hermione, Ginny, Katie, Clarice and my friend Amelie Thomas. OK?''

''That's great'' was the common phrase around the room while Aunt Ginny piped up: '' Who is Amelie's father?'' She seemed very anxious to hear the answer.

''Emmm..... I think his name is Dean. I haven't been to their house in years. Why, do you know the family?''

''Yes, actually, I do. Her father was an ex-boyfriend of mine. Will he be coming?''

''I don't know. The invites will say : And partner. Amelie doesn't currently have a partner, her mother is dead, so she might bring him.''

''Who was her mother?''

''I met her once. She told me to call her Lavender. Lovely name, isn't it?''

Uncle Ron then joined in the conversation.

''They were both in our year at Hogwarts, Lavender was an ex-girlfriend of mine.''

''Ohhh, well, sorry.'' This wasn't going to plan. Teddy was just standing next me looking petrified, I was completely alone.

Anyway, the last thing that we would like to share with you is.....'' I took a deep breath before I said it. Iw as so nervous, scared, afraid, this was torture.''I'm pregnant, we are pregnant.''

Everybody sat at the table, dumfounded. Oh, no. What would they say? How would Dad react? Grandma? Mum? Ginny? Everybody?



And with that, I collapsed, fainted, whatever you want to call it.

''Vic.....................''

Everything was gone.

I woke up in St. Mungo's. I knew this as I recognised the smell. Ted was asleep on the chair next to me and Hermione was snoozing at the end of the bed.
''Hermione, Ted.... Wake up.'' I said weakly. I tapped Hermione with my foot from under the covers and she woke.

''Oh, sorry, hey. Teddy!''

''Yeah....... Is she alive?''

''She's awake!''

''Vic! Are you OK!''

''SHHHHHHH!'' Shouted Hermione.

''You both have deafened me, so no, I'm not alright. Why does my head really hurt?''

''You bumped it on the floor when you collapsed honey. What time is it?''

''Four in the morning.''' Answered the Healer who appeared in the door. ''Sorry, was I interrupting. I get told when a patient wakes up.''

''No, no. It's fine. Am I alright?'' I was so worried. How was my baby? Was she alive, I felt like I was having a girl, maybe it was just my hopes that told me that.

''You are absolutely fine. A knock to the head. Both of your heartbeats are steady and no injury was caused to the baby. You were just extremely nervous. Your Aunt told me about your situation, I remember trying to tell my family that I was pregnant. I was sick on my mum.''

''Thanks.''

''No bother. Would you like another scan?''

''Yes please.....''

Oh, I'm Kerri by the way. I will be your Healer until this afternoon OK?''

''Great. Thankyou very much.''

''No problem..........''

The picture was amazing, again. Both Ted, Hermione and I were all crying. Everybody else had went for a sleep at home so they missed it all.
