I woke up around seven feeling dizzy and stressed out. It was just so typical that I had ended up in hospital when telling my family that I was having a baby.
The healer came in around ten to give me some Broom Bites for breakfast. I was alone for the next couple of hours until Ted came back with clothes and toiletries for me. We sat and talked for hours, then some unexpected visitors turned up.


MY PARENTS


''I am very happy for you two, I really am. Couldn't you have waited?''
''I'm sorry Mum but it couldn't be helped.'' Teddy and I both giggled, he was sitting next to me on the bed, holding my hand.
''I know exactly what you mean Victoire.''
''Mum! I feel sick enough as it is thanks!''
''Sorry honey. I can't wait for this Winter wedding. Have you sorted out anything yet?''
''We have booked the venue and the cake. Really we need food and outfits and we are sorted.''
''Favours, music, invites, thankyou cards, photographer, flowers. The list is never ending sweetheart.''

''Of course honey. How you feeling?''
'I'm fine. Hopefully be going home at the same time as you two so.....yeah, good. Speaking of two people. How are you Dad, you're very quiet.''

Finally, some sense. We were all hugging and crying. My Daddy was finally happy. Father of the bride, Granda. It was all too much for old Bill Weasley. Mum had been thrilled about everything the whole time, it had finally rubbed off on him.

The apparition to the Burrow was a bit shaky, I struggled to stand up straight when I landed. Teddy was there for me to lean on and we walked arm-in-arm to Gran's back door. I could hear the bickering, the laughing, the whispering of pranks. My family were heard from all around. We weren't all redheads anymore but if you saw a redhead they were probably a relation in some way. I was blonde, like mum, but with a red tinge in the sun. None of the Granger-Weasley's were redheads and Fred had dark hair like his mum.

''Vic, how are you feeling'' There was a whole load of conversations that stopped when we entered the kitchen.
''I am fine thank you everyone. Just carry on, don't mind me. Oh Granny, that soup smells fabulous. You shouldn't have. You know that I am one of the only few in the world that likes oats and brocolli soup. Everybody will be sick if they eat it.''
''Stop it. They have all had rolls and a fry up. That kind of food isn't good for the baby anyway Tori. A good old helping of soup will do you both well.''
''Thanks,'' I said as I leaned in to hug her.
''Of you go and get a soft seat in the lounge. A few cousins would like to see you.''

The first part is just going to be a conversation between Harry and Ted.

Everybody going off to Hogwarts.

Teddy and Harry sat in the kitchen of the Burrow discussing their plan. Everyone around them was too busy to hear them so there was no need to whisper. They had no proper way to get to Hogwarts unless they were to sneak.

''We are going to have to go at the same time as all of the kids, sneak on the train with them.'' Teddy had been trying to get Harry to listen to him the whole time.

''I know, you don't want to risk Apparating but we can do that easily.''

''There is nobody to open the gates for us if we use apparition.''

''There is Hagrid, Neville. They all know us. I'm an auror, you work for the Minister, we can get in easily.''

''Yeah but we don't want too much attention.''

''Oh, and getting on a train with a bunch of kids isn't drawing too much attention?''

''Well you're the boss, so..... We'll stick with your plan.''

''Anyway Ted, we would have had to apparate back here anyway.''

''Sorry, I thought it was agood plan.''

''Good thought really, just not very practical. Right, lets refresh the plan.''


1. Apparate when the feast is over.
2. Get Professor Longbottom to open the gates, lets hope he doesn't get fired.
3. Thank him.
4. Stay the night at Hagrid's
5. Go out to the forest in the morning and dig for the stone until lunch, mark where we finished looking.
6. Have lunch in the Great Hall, telling people that Aurors have been situated around Hogsmeade due to burglaries.
7. Go back,starting at where we have already looked.
8. Repeat until we find the Resurrection Stone.
9. No longer than three days should we be there. We will find it.


''How does that sound?''

''Great Harry, really. Are you sure that we will find it?''

''I dream about that night everyday. I remember where I dropped it like it was two minutes ago. You will never forget the day that you fought off the darkest wizard of all time. And the day that you told your wife that you love her and want to marry her. You know how that feels.''

''I sure do. Although you don't know how it feels for her to be pregnant and ending up in hospital, all before you marry her.''

''I know Ted. How is she doing?''

''She is great. Talking with all the ladies in the living room. She has decided that every cousin of hers has to be a part of the wedding.''

''Oh, great. Now I have three hyper children.'' We both laughed and went back to revising the plan.

''Consider yourself lucky Teddy.''

''Why's that Ron?''

''When we used to revise plans, you know, trying to defeat Voldemort and all, Hermione made us resite the plan over and over again. Remember Harry, getting into the Ministry?''

''That was absolute torture! We stayed up half the night. Memorising, checking, saying. She made us stand, like we were saying a speech.'' All three of us were laughing now. They relived the whole story for me,I hadn't quite got the 'getting into the Ministry' part of it.

''Now just remember, we are talking about my wife here.''

''Onboard everyone! Come on, we're running late here! Scheduled to leave five minutes ago!'' Gabriella Roseheart was the new bossy boots of Platform 9 3/4. She had taken over from Percy two years ago. He had moved onto less stressing things in life.

''She is never patient!'' I was so annoyed. Why had I even bothered to come with people to wave off the kids?

''You are lucky, she isn't bossing you about anymore. It's us now.'' James was even more frustrated than me. Poor boy.

''Now remember everyone, keep an eye out for letters. You will all be receiving them frequently. Reply as soon as you can. Please. Feel free to check up on me if you haven't got a letter in a while.'' I had told them this too many times but it had to be said. We would be discussing wedding plansthe whole year, right up to the very day.''James, you'll probably get them from Ted, not me. OK?''

''Yeah, we got it.'' They all replied at he same time, making everybody on the platform turn around.

''Bye. Have a nice year. Good luck in the sorting Lily! Tell me all about it! Don't worry about anything!''

''Thanks Vic. Love you! Say Good morning to the baby every single day from me!'' They were all boarding now so the sound was a little muffled.

''I will, I promise!''

The night was very dark when the two men arrived in Hogsmeade. They walked to the gates where they were due to meet Neville Longbottom, the Herbology teacher, at 9.00 o'clock. They had to wait for a couple of hours and then they saw him.

''Hey Harry, Teddy. How you two doin'. Hope all is well. How are the ladies?''

He was such a lovely man. Luna Longbottom was so lucky to have him as a husband. They both owned the little shop in Hogsmeade called 'Things that only I know the meaning of'. It was a very appropriate name because Luna really was the only person that knew the names and meanings of her stock. Their two kids were now at Hogwarts. Well one had started that very day, the other, the year before. Ginny was Hermione's godmother, Ron was Molly's godfather. Both of them were such good parents, they wanted their kids to have meaningful names and godparents.

Luna and Neville had claimed that their daughters' names ment bravery, kindness, intelligence and discovery. Both Molly and Hermione were delighted to have had their names chosen for the kids. Molly Longbottom was in Lily's year at school, they were both sorted into Gryffndor that very day and Hermione Longbottom also in Gryffindor.

''Neville, we really appreciate this. Thanks alot.''

''No bother Harry. The amount of times you have helped me out, you deserve it.''

''Thanks.'' The first three tasks were now ticked off the list, now to number four.

''Harry, Teddy! Nice to see you both!'' Rubeus Hagrid had aged drastically. His long hair was now grey and his clothing had been sorted into dress trousers, shirts and cardigans. He was a really lovely bloke, shame he never had anybody to love.

''Nice to see you two. Thanks alot for the help.''

''No problem guys, really.''

Harry and Teddy woke up early on the Monday morning. They weren't in time for breakfast so they had to wait. For a few hours they nosied around the house. Hagrid was away into the forest, he had left a note:

Mornin' Guys,
Mornin'. I'm feeding the Unicorns and Hippogriffs at the moment. Be back in time for breakfast. Just thought I should mention that Grawp's first class is Lily's first year class. He will be great though, don't worry. Nothing like his nutter of an uncle *. May he rest in peace. He is a sensible boy, my Grawp. Can you believe that I have a son and daughter to a FRENCH giant. Anyway, I'm rambling on. See you in the Great Hall.

Here goes


The original hut was no longer Hagrid's house. It had been extended beyond belief! The hut was now Grawp's house. Beyond the hut ther ws another bigger house that Rubeus and Maxime stayed in with their daughter Helena. She was in fourth year at Beauxbatons, both of the children had went to Fraance with their mother. Maxime was their at the moment. She was no longer the Headmistress but she helped in the Charms classes. She usually stayed here and helped in the forest but she sometimes had to go to France. There was sheds at the back, one for lessons and the other for tending to the Forest.

Hagrid worked really hard with all the creatures and his lessons had really improved. James had even taken Care of Magical Creatures. Hermione had helped Hagrid out alot. She kept him company when he was lonely after Grawp* died at The Battle of Hogwarts. He found it very difficult after that. Hermione even helped him rebuild the hut. Not all of it had burned but there was alot of damage done. She rebuilt his whole world. She was there that often that Ron found her there one day. That day he proposed to her in the forest. She said yes, of course.

Breakfast in the Great Hall was strange.

Harry's children begged them to sit at the Gryffindor next to them. Except for James of course.

As Harry had walked in to the hall he witnessed James eating one Ravenclaw's face. A girl obviously.

'So this is Christie McLaggen. James if you don't mind, we are about to start eating.' Harry whispered in his son's ear.

'Dad! What are you doing here?! Why are you spying on me?! How do you know her name?!'

'Son, I know everybody's name. I'm an auror, I know everybody. Especially if I go to school with their parents. I'm helping out in Hogsmeade, I told you. A series of burglaries have come to our attention so we are here to investigate. Professor McGonagall welcomed us to eat here for the next few days. So, I would keep that a little more private. The Astronomy tower is quite good for that.' I laughed with Teddy as he nodded in agreement.' Excuse me Christie, I know who your father is but could you tell me the maiden name of your mother?'

'Emmmm.... Chang. Cho Chang. Why?'

'I thought so. Ask her if she remembers our nights in the Astronomy Tower.'

The two men hunted for hours and didn't find anything. They marked the spot that they had finished their search with their wands and went for dinner. As if the kitchen staff knew Harry's wishes, the dessert was treacle tart. The kitchen staff were no longer house elves. This was the work of Ron and Hermione. They were now trained cooks with double the amount of skill of Molly.

Teddy and Harry sat with Lily and the group of friends that she had made. There was Tessa, Ciara and Claire. They were lovely girls. Tessa and Ciara were very friendly and extremely funny. Claire was a little quieter, funny, but quiet. Teddy spoke to her mostly, whenever he said anything, her cheeks went a shade of rose. His goodlooks were obviously making her slightly embaressed. When it was bedtime Harry said goodnight to his nieces, nephews, the Longbottoms and his children. They both walked to the hut and settled into bed.

'We will find it Ted. Do you know that?'

'Of course Harry. I trust you.'

'Good. Have you written Vic a letter yet? She will be so mad if you haven't. Pregnant people get very cranky.'

'Oh, I know.'

'Why hasn't he wrote to me yet?!' I was raging. I was with Hermione, Amelie and Ginny in Grimmauld Place.

'They are too busy for letters. Come on, understand the male brain already!' Ginny was giggling as she said this. Her warm eyes made me laugh.

After we laughed for a while about our men, we talked about dresses and flowers. Amelie was left out in the men part of it but she still enjoyed it. After a couple of hours, an owl arrived at the window. It was from the father of my baby and my wonderful fiance.

Hey honey, lovely, what should I call you?
We are fine, just to let you know. I know it isn't exactly when you asked for this note but we have been very busy. Everybody is great! Hagrid, Neville, Minerva. Everybody is excited about the baby!
How are you today? Did you have a nap? Don't faint OK?
I really love you. And our little thing. What gender is it. I hate calling it, it. That sounds weird.

'AWWWWW.......' Everybody had cooed at the same time. Embaressing!

St. Mungo's wasn't very busy that morning. I had booked in an appointment to find out the sex of the baby. Ted had made me do it by myself, without him. I was to go to work after my appointment, it was early morning so no Magical Mishaps had happened yet.

A Healer came to greet me and led me into, what felt like, my room. I had been there twice already throughout the pregnancy. Once to find out and the second, well, I fainted.

'Hey. So you want to know the sex of your baby?'

'I sure do.'

She went away and got all the necessary equiptment.

After playing about with the machine she sighed.

'This isn't right. Sorry, I have to speak to the Head Healer.'

'Why, what........'

I panicked........

Oh no, I had killed my baby. She couldn't hear a heartbeat. Ted wouldn't marry me anymore. I instantly started to weep. What had I done?

The two women came in talking.

'Really? Let me check.'

I was so scared as she stared at the machine and listened to the stethascope.

'Well Victoire Weasley. I have to tell you something.'

'NOOO..... Why? I killed my baby!'

'No actually you haven't. It's twins.'

'I'll have one, do you need any help?' Hermione was quite he lady for her tea. Growing up with muggles she rarely drank pumpkin juice or butterbeer unless she was in Hogwarts. Tea was a very common drink for British Muggles.

'Nope, I'm good.' I walked off into the kitchen trying to listen to the conversation but was unsuccessful. A s I tapped the kettle wit my wand I coul hear hurried whispers but I couldn't make them out. They would tell me when I got back.

Ted quickly scribbled a reply on the back of the parchment and sent Benny flying.

The silhouettes of two men were visable through the dark. They searched the forest for the Resurrection Stone but had no luck. Unfortunately their time was up and they would soon have to go home. The sun during the day was hot but now the cold night air was coming in as October approached.

'Sorry Ted, I really thought that we could find it.'

'It's fine, I guess my parents aren't coming to the wedding then.'

'I am really sorry,' continued Harry as they walked back to the cabin. Fang sat waiting for them at the door of the hut. He wasn't much help the previous day, he just constantly dug up the dirt that they had previously searched. Eventually Harry decided that he shouldn't help them.

'Hey Fang,' Teddy said, a slightly unhappy tone to his voice.

As Harry ruffled the large boarhound's ears he saw something at his paws. A small pointed object, with a scratched surface that was quite familiar.

'Ted, hold on. I think I found it!' He exclaimed towards the figure climbing the steps to the door. Harry picked up the gem and studied it. It was definitely the Stone of Resurrection.

'Really!' Shouted Ted as he pulled out a small satchel from the back pocket of his trousers (they had thought that it would have been less boiling and easier to don Muggle wear instead of robes).

The flat was completely silent when Teddy opened the door.

He walked around looking for me and finally found me asleep in bed. He shook me a little bit and I awoke with a groan and a moan.

'Hey sweetie, how you feeling?' Asked Ted quietly.

'I'm OK, thanks. I tried to stay awake but work was exhausting and I don't feel up for loazing around, I constantly need sleep - '

'Don't bother explaining just tell me, please, please, pretty please.'

'OK, sit down,' Ted looked at me with an odd expression, 'No seriously, sit down.'

Teddy sat on the bed and pulled the covers aside to reveal my spotted nightdress.

'Oh wow! You are blooming! How?! You aren't that far along!'

'It's fine, I'm just growing at twice the rate of the usual pregnancy. Calm down....'

Ted just stared, waiting.

'OK.Theodore Lupin you are going to be the the father of twin girls.'


SILENCE.

'You told me that it was twin girls, it felt real though. It was weird. Imagine, juggling two?'

'Do you mean that you wouldn't be happy with two twin girls? I hate to tell you, that was no dream.'

'Seriously, was I out as soon as you told me? Sorry.' He said when I nodded my head. 'OH WOW. Identical, non-identical?'

'Identical. I guess it runs on the Weasley side. Granny's brothers were twins and my uncles so it's two girls now.'

'Really? Well wow, Congratulations honey! Are you OK?'

'Congratulations to you to! I'm fine, what about you? How was your week?'

The conversation continued as we both snuggled on the couch with bacon sandwiches talking about our babies. It was great. It turns out that the boys were able to find the stone. The wedding plans were running smoothly apart from my dress.

'Are you going to go and buy one then?'

'Well, I might have to wait. You know, I'm growing quickly. It isn't even October. When the Halloween sales come then I might look.'

'It is up to you anyway. So..... We have to tell everybody our news don't we?'

'Yeah, I suppose we should. I can't have everybody here again. It is far too stressful.'

OK. Cool. We could go visiting today then. Yeah?'

'Sure. Who first?'

We apparated to my parents and knocked on the door.

The Secret Keeper process followed and then we sat in the livingroom.

'So 'ow is everybody?' Mum asked.

'We are good. I got a scan the other day and found out some news.' I smiled at my fiance as I said this and Ted smiled back at me.

'What is it then. Spit it out.' Dad asked from his armchair. He actually seemed excited to know.

'Well, it is girls.' Said Ted. When my parents had a confused look on their faces he cotinued. 'Identical twin girls.'

'OH! WOW! OH MY GOSH! HOW EXCITING!' The room was filled with excited shouts like this and mum ran to me and hugged me.

GRIMMAULD PLACE...GRIMMAULD PLACE...GRIMMAULD PLACE...

Again, we apparated but this time I felt slightly woozy.

'Hey mate. How you doin'?' Asked Ron as he shook Ted's hand. I received a peck on the cheek and we walked to the kitchen.

Luckily, Ginny, Harry, Ron and Hermione were all there.

'So, we finally getting to hear what you wouldn't tell us then?' Said Gin as the boys just looked at eachother.

'Yes actually you are. We found out a few things the other day.'

'I know that, he talked about it enough.' Laughed Harry as he stared in Ted's direction.

'Well, first. Girls. Second, identical and third, twins.' I waited for the screaming and shouting but I was so deafened that I couldn't make out any of the words.

'Thanks guys.'

Again, the room was filled with a blur of noise as everybody jumped off their seats and hugged each other.

'Why don't we all go to The Burrow? George and family are there, I'm sure.' Said Ron.

'Yeah, why not?' I replied.

Nice post. Spreading the word of such exciting news is always a lot of fun. At first I was afraid Teddy was angry. So glad he wasn't. I'm anxious to read about her wedding dress, and then the wedding! I'll be watching for your next post.

Here goes!

We all walked into the kitchen of the Burrow, greeted by loads of familiar faces. Charlie was under the table fixing a leg with his wand, George was pointing and laughing at Charlie, Katie was helping Gran with the vegetables, Granny was making dinner and Percy was reading the Prophet.

''Hello dear, how are you?'' Asked Granny from the massive stove.

''I am fine thanks. What about everybody else?''

''Fine...'' Everybody replied.

''Well, we have some more news for you all, you ready to hear?''

Hermione and Ginny were squirming behind me, they were just as excited about it as I was. The more people I told, the more real it was. When I had told Amelie a couple of days ago (she was the only one I confided in before Ted) it still wasn't real.

''Well, we are having twin girls, identical twin girls!''

Everybody congratulated us and hugged us. Everybody in the room had a massive grin on their face, all but one.

The feast that Gran and Katie made was spectacular. Bowlfuls of magical soup, not literally - its just a good adjective - roast chicken with every trimming imaginable and a fabulous raspberry roulade and ice cream. All homemade of course.

Granny's a god when it comes to cooking. She is so amazing at everything. Us kids used to be spoiled rotten by all of her dinners, the plates and plates of it, until our parents told her that we would soon be obese. Normally she really has her work cutout but now with my cousins at Hogwarts she isn't as busy.

As the men discussed the suspension of the England seeker due to him breaking the hand of the Russian just to get the snitch, us ladies discussed more important things. Wedding plans. It turns out that we were in luck, Katie's cousin owned a small wedding shop in Diagon Alley, how lucky is that.

''Infact, she was in Percy's year at school, hold on I will ask him. Perce!'' Percy looked up from the article he was still reading and glanced in our direction.

''Yes, can I help you?''

''I was just asking if you remebered my cousin, she was in your year at Hogwarts. Penelope Clearwater?''

''OH...err.. yes.. the name rings a bell--''

''Percy sure knows Penny. Eh Perce? You got up to loads of stuff with her in the Astronomy Tower, looking at stars, my-''

''That is enough George, that is all in the past now boys.''

Everything was sorted, we were to head to Diagon Alley on the Saturday. We had arranged for Rosie and Lily to be allowed out. It was the weekend afterall and we had gotten Professor Longbottom to convince McGonagall.

We all met in the Leaky Cauldron. Neville had dropped the girls off for us and he was to pick them up in a couple of hours. We headed into the wizarding street towards the small corner shop called 'I Do'.

''Hey Katie, so this is the party that you mean?'' She glanced at all of us standing in her cramped shop. Me, Hermione, Ginny, Clarice, Amelie, Katie, Rosie and Lily.

''Yip, this is everybody.''

''Well, bride I'm guessing that you are looking for white?''

''And maternity, extra large twin maternity.'' I said as I unzipped my jacket to reveal the bump.

''OK, I will order some more material, no offence. Flowergirls, what colour are you looking for?''

''EMMMMMM...... Vic?'' Rosie and Lily were looking worried.

''Pick any colour girls, really. As for the bridesmaids, I would love it if you would wear purple. Whatever shade of purple you like.''

Everybody busily hunted for fabrics around the shops. Lily picked a pale pink and Rosie, a baby blue. The purples ranged from lilacs to plums. The dresses were beautiful. It was all so exciting!




I haven't really decided on Vic's dress yet so that will be the next post.

Writers Block!
 

Yip, that is right I have writer's block. RonHermione(L) wants some drama but first I really need to figure out this dress. The wedding is really soon and then the twins will be born around April/May. Everything is happening so quickly and I want my story to be nice and long so that people keep reading, not just a skimpy wee thing. Anyway, the dress yes, the dress. I have all the purples so now I need the white.



'Wowwww, you look beautiful!'

The room filled with 'awws' and 'ahhs'. Hermione's eyes filled with tears and Ginny needed support to be able to stand up right.

The bride, the beautiful bride. The blonde hair wrapped up at her neck, messier than the actual hairdo that should be at the wedding. The quarter Veela coming through amazingly, the half-French beauty. The Weasley side coming through the brown eyes. The family were used to these amazing looks, the shock was the flowing white garment that draped itself beautifully over the slim, long body.

The white dress was long, very long and white of course. The sparkles, real magical sparkles, shimmered off of the lighting to reflect the beauty even further. The pleated bottom followed by a flowing trail, which, on the day should be held by the girls. The shawl that was to be worn on Chrictmas day was held in her hand, it was knitted and had beads around the edges. No bride can be cold on their wedding day.

Vic's image was actually being lived. She wanted purple, PURPLE, and even more purple. It was her favourite colour, obviously, and she wanted the dresses to show it. The lilac silk ribbon that clutched her waist perfectly was a new addition to any of Penelope's designs. She was used to the plain white, ivory or cream robes that witches wore. But, Vic liked the look of more Muggle style strapless dresses that hugged your body, instead of baggy robes that were extremely unflattering.

'Do you like it then?'

'It is just beautiful. It is so different, not unusual, but different.'




Right, OK. Is the dress alright. On the wedding day I will describe accessories, hair, shoes etc. I couldn't face Victoire wearing robes so I went muggle style. Ready for the story to continue? Oh, the first part was not in first person because I thought that the way I described the beauty would make Vic sound extremely full of herself. The next part is in first person. Sorry for the jumbles. Ready?



Flowers. They needed to order flowers. Purple tulips could be nice, pansies are purple, but poinsietta are Christmas flowers. We walked from the dress shop to the beautiful Enchanted Garden.

'Hello ladies, now let me guess. A wedding?' The owner was at least sixty with long, wavy white hair. Daisies were attached to long plaits that ran down the length of her back.

'Yeah, thats right. My bridesmaids and flower girls have all different shades of purple dresses and I have a white dress with a purple sash. Of course, purples and lilacs would be beautiful but then that could be a bit much. And you should probably know that the wedding is on Christmas day.

'I see, well. Short time. Why don't the girls pick from the range of lilacs over on that side of the wall and you have white roses, purple roses and one large poinsietta. You know, for Christmas?'

'That sounds great, a beautiful balance, thanks.'

Everybody had great fun making up their own bouquets. I had decided on eight flowers each, any kind, any shade. They had to be purple.


That will do for now, I need to think!

You've done a really good job with the dresses. They sound like the're beautiful. My favorite color is purple. Some other flowers you can get in purple are, Iris, Gladiolus, Orchid, Wisteria, Heather, & Crocus just to mention a few if that helps any. That's fine. You think, we'll wait. Hope you get over your writers block.

I think the dress sounded gorgeous and you described it really well! I agree with the whole robes vs. muggle style ordeal. I definitely would not want some baggy robe on my wedding day.
