Hey this is the first part of my first story. None of these characters are mine- they belong to J.K. Rowling. However, I made up a few, and the plot is mine.

''Will you marry me?'' He asked. I couldn't believe it. He, Teddy Lupin, had asked me, Victoire Weasley, to marry him.
His glistening eyes bored into mine while I just stood looking at him. I must have looked like a right fool, just standing there when he had just popped the 'big question'.
''Yes, of course.'' I had just realised at that moment what I had said, I had said yes. All I remember thinking was that I was an engaged woman. Wow! We were now engaged! He is my fiancé!
The next thing I know I am being kissed passionately by the most amazing man in my life. My fiancé to be exact. After a long embrace and a little more kissing he, as any wizard, conjured up a black box. I must have had a strange look of shock on my face because Teddy waved his hand in my face and was smiling. He opened the box and all I could think of was fainting. It was looking at me, pulling me towards it. It was a platinum band with a petite diamond set in the middle. It was beautiful, sparkly and most importantly mine.
Teddy took hold of my left hand and slid the ring onto that all important finger. Now that I think about it that hand has been through loads. When I was eight Mum dropped a vase on it due to a dodgy Hover Charm, Granny Weasley had to fix it with that wonderful book of hers. Michael Pott had crushed it in third year at the Hogwarts Quidditch final. I was Gryffindor Chaser, he a Slytherin beater who wasn’t the best at steering. Now that hand had an engagement ring on it.
Teddy had a great look of achievement on his face. No wonder, he had just succeeded in proposing to me. After taking a stroll along the beach we went to Shell Cottage. My parents would have had to have found out at some point. When I knocked on the door instead of walking in as usual I finally remembered that we would have to find a house somewhere. This was no longer my house to stay in. It felt very strange.
Dad was still for all the Secret Keeper malarkey so we always had to answer a question before being let in. He still had some fight in him! Mum told me that ever since he was bitten he has always been very protective. She told me that when Uncle Fred died he became the strong man in the family. Everybody still looks up to him, even Uncle Harry! We answered the question of ‘when is your mother’s birthday?’ and I replied ‘26th May’ meaning we were able to come in. Dad is not allowed to ask the question of ‘which werewolf bit me just before the Battle of Hogwarts?’ if Teddy is there. The first time he asked us that Teddy just went off in one. He thought that dad was trying to criticise him.
Mum had grown to like Celestina Warbeck and her music due to Granny’s persuasion. When we walked in she was listening to the wireless and a Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love. She was humming along when I walked over to her armchair. Without speaking I raised my left hand and sat it on top of hers. She took a huge breath and just looked at me............

Well? How is it? Give me ideas that make sense please. I know what is going to happen in the next two or so but I need some more plans. Leave your comments please!

‘Uncle Harry! Uncle Harry! Can you open the door please?! Uncle Harry!’ Ted shouted into the April night.

The door opened to reveal a middle aged man with squint glasses, messy dark hair going grey at the sides and bright green eyes. As soon as he saw what stood in his doorway his eyes widened to such an extent that they looked as though they could pop out of his head.

Harry’s dead godson was standing with one of his daughter’s in one arm and a lot of luggage, including a Moses basket and a Betty’s Baby Emporium Steriliser, in the other.

‘Eh, Ginny! Can you bring me my wand please?’ Shouted Harry towards the end of the hall behind him.

‘No, no it’s not like that Harry. I am Theodore Remus Lupin. I have two daughters Evie and Violet and a wife Victoire. My parents were killed in the Great War at Hogwarts and you are my godfather. Remus John Lupin appointed you my godfather at Shell Cottage the day I was born.’ Ted recalled as much information that he could to convince Harry.

‘Ginny! Can you hurry up and you might want your wand too!’

‘Dad, what’s going on?’ Said James Potter from behind his Dad.

‘Nothing son, you don’t have to see this. You kids better get to bed. Off you go.’

‘Lily and Al are in bed Dad, you said I could stay up a bit later remember?’ At that moment he stepped out from behind Harry and looked at what was outside the door.

‘Hey James, can you take Evie for me?’Ted asked with a smile.

James pulled out his wand and said, ‘Who are you? What are you doing here?’

Ginny came at that moment and said,'Listen guys. He isn’t lying it’s him OK.
James put away your wand, Ted has some explaining to do.’

‘Aunt Gin, how did you know?’

‘Fleur just owled me saying you would probably come and stay.’ Ginny smiled and stepped outside to take Evie from my arms.

‘Thanks Gin.’

‘You had better come in Ted.’ Said Harry.

Haha, It's hard to picture Harry as old. It's too weird because we've grown up with him.

What good would that have done if dead Teddy were an impostor? Honestly, Harry, haven't you learned that you need to keep your wand ON YOU! I mean, that is how your dad died...

hehe... the thought of harry's eyes popping out of his head makes me giggle and i don't really know why. i hope victiore realises what an IDIOT she's being right now and comes back to him.

Hmmmm,

I don't liike the sound of Ted calling Harry Uncle. It just doesn't sound right to me.

I guess, I just always assumed he would have called him Harry.

That was quick thinking on Fleur's part. And generous on your part. Otherwise we would probably be looking at another cliff hanger. Like does Harry believe it is his god son? Does Harry perform magic without his wand like we've seen Albus do, and hogties Ted, and grabs the baby. Thank you for not doing that to us.

OK, third dedication. I'm just going through people by the way

Once I have dedicated one to every reader, the story is done. I have a sequal but it won't be posted for a while. Maybe January-ish. After mock-exams. This is nearly done. I'm kind of getting sick of it because I had great ideas but they don't look or seem very good on paper (or a screen).

To Emilyblack. The fantastic reader who gives glomps to anyone who needs them

Uses her evil luagh icon constantly just to tease us but means well. Is a loyal reader and SS friend.

OK, so I should be revising for biology but I need a break and thought ‘I’ll write a post’. I hope it’s good.

Enjoy!!

After an hour of explaining to James, home for Easter and Ginny and Harry then re-explaining for Hermione and Ron when they came over, in the middle of the night, everyone was in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place drinking tea and coffee.

It was now three in the morning and Hermione still had tears rolling down her face. The glistened in the light of the lamp and everyone was cautious of them. Knowing Hermione, any mention of her tears and they could get worse. Her hair was in a mess and her pyjamas were on under her coat. After rushing Rose and Al to the Granger’s house they came to Grimmauld Place, much to Ron’s distaste. The middle of the night was not his finest hour.

‘Ted, you know your parents would have been so proud of you.’Said Hermione, now showing the reason for her tears. They loved you, you know. If your Mum was here she would want details. I can just imagine her hair turning bubblegum pink because of the happiness of seeing you. Your Dad would have said something manly but inside his heart would be beating roughly with shock and love for his son. I am so sorry you didn’t get to know that part of them.’

’Thanks Hermione. I really appreciate it.’ Replied a grateful Teddy. He stood up and went over to the Moses basket in the corner of the room. Evie was sound asleep. She was due her feed in three hours so she would soon be awake. Fleur had sent her feeding times with Ginny’s letter; she really was great with the girls, if only their mother was the same.

’You get to sleep Ted. I’ll feed her at five then we can train you tomorrow on baby girls.’Said Ginny.

’No, no. You don’t have to...’Ted attempted to reply.

’Yes I do. Now go to sleep. Room next to James. James you had better go upstairs too. ‘

’Yes Mum,’ said James as if he had just been defeated.

Teddy and James walked up the stairs and Ted patted James on the back. ’I don’t think I ever told you but you were the best man anybody could wish for.’

’Naa...I didn’t even plan you a stag do.’ James shook his head, he looked awful. As if he hadn’t showered in at least a week and his hair was messier than his Dad’s.

’I do hope you’re kidding. I was fighting at war. Anyway, Ron sneaked some beer on camp. It was a laugh.

’What’s beer?’ Should have taken Muggle Studies James!

’A Muggle drink that makes you wacky. Ron said I was worse than some Slughorn dude at a Christmas party, something like that anyway.

The two men said goodnight and walked in to their rooms. Ted into a red room, the walls lined with all sorts of pictures. His Mum and Dad were included in the assortment.

’Goodnight Remus and Dora.’ Wished Ted, it was the first time he had ever said goodnight to his parents. Probably the last too.
