He looked at a wizarding like postcard and that would be perfect for his grandma. He pocketed that one and was gonna buy it soon.
He felt Amelia squishing hug and he hugged her back tighter just cause. Colt laughed and thought someone was being overly confident. "Well of course I missed you. I mean we only met briefly but it is nice to see you again." he shrugged and went back to the postcards. "I am looking for some cards to send back to my family.." he explained to her. He noticed her linking arms with him and he raised his eyebrows. Was something going on here? Hmm well he liked it. Now onto the summer topic. "Well summer has been good. I mean I was in New York City for a while. I did a really long slip and slide in the city. I also went to the skatepark and such. Nothing too much." he winked. "And where was my invitation for this pool party?" he teased.

"Um...hi?" he said turning back to her after he realized there was no one else there.
"Sup?" he said raising an eyebrow and looking at them both. "Sorry I didn't mean to..." to do what exactly? Eh oh well. "I'm Chris," he said instead with a slight smile. At least they looked nearer his age then some of the people he had seen around here.
Amelia just laughed when he mentioned their rather brief first meeting.
"It only takes about 3 seconds for someone to impress another person, i read that somewhere." Meaning no matter how brief a meeting would be she could leave anyone impressed. Besides that they had fun when they met the last time. He still needed some skill teaching but she'd take good care of that. After all they'd go to school together.
"What kind of cards are you looking for? I would totally recommend a touristy one maybe a shot from up in the air?" Obviously a touristy post card would only make sense for someone that wasn't familiar with Diagon Alley, which i why Amelia would never get one for HER parents but since Colt was looking....
Just as the brunette was about to tell him about the pool party she heard the other guy speak up. You could never have enough company.
"Hello, i am Amelia", she grinned and waved at him. He seemed to be slightly younger..maybe that was why she didnt know him. But he introduced himself, good manners. That was important.
Turning back to Colt she tilted her head slightly and smiled
" Oh you know...it was just girls. We cant have boys when we are in our bikinis...." Nope. Boy free zone. Unfortunately thats why Colt missed out THE summer party but it sounded like he had just about survived.
"Hope you skate well."
Taking a post card in her hand the slytherin held it in front of Chris and gave hima sweet smile."
If i was you and was gonna get one i would take this one."
