| | | Eeylops Owl Emporium
Eeylops Owl Emporium strives to provide witches and wizards, young and old, with the necessities required to properly look after an owl, whether that be with packets of food or just a cage. Once you enter through the door you enter a world of chirping birds and rows upon rows of owls, ranging from the adorable tawny owl to the unique screech owl. Big or small, cute or ugly, quiet or obnoxious, each one would like a caring and loving home.
On either side of the rows of caged owls, adorning the walls are shelves. These shelves hold all of the things under the sun that you could ever what for your owl. Lining the first set of shelves are many jars of weird looking insects, ranging from stick insects to your plain ordinary green fly. The owls will eat any of these insects, so take your pick and buy as many as you want. Above the insect jars are an assortment of boxes all holding different sized packets of owl pellets. These are fun-sized little bits of food that are perfect for an owl. Dotted along either side of the shop, alongside the shelves are big boxes, contain an assortment of little cuddly toys and other little trinkets that will allow you to care for your owls every need.
Toward the back of the shop, a straight line from the door, where the shopkeeper is waiting to assist you. As you reach the back you notice that, like the rest of the shop, it looks old fashioned, maybe a bit rustic, but don't criticize for the shopkeeper loves their shop just as much as anything. When you're ready to cash out, go ahead, wait in line, and you'll be ready to leave with your new owl in no time at all. This shop is owned by an NPC and is a part of the IC Shopkeeper initiative. Or they could just use the school owls to send letters home. Those owls were nice usually. "You want a kneazle now?" Mira queried, trying to catch up to Levi's ever changing moods. "Why a cat, and not a rat, owl or toad?" Her sweaty face, and wish for something cold to drink, didn't help her focus and made her tone a bit testy. Had Mira gone to Eeylops for nothing? She really hoped that, that wasn't the case because then she would get more than little testy at her brother, and would tell him so. Quote:

He winced as he headed out front, his left elbow still throbbing slightly from earlier that morning when. One of Diego’s raccoon friends had startled the living daylights out of him in the kitchen, and he had involuntarily scrambled backwards. The result had been his elbow colliding with the kitchen’s doorway.
He paused by the Screech owls, two young humans {Mira & Levi} voices who stood close by wafting towards him. Rafa didn’t mean to eavesdrop but the words could not be helped meeting his ears. By the sounds of it, the younger sibling was having second thoughts of coming into ownership of an owl. “Hallo, hallo. Might I interrupt?” The brown haired man offered the two a smile as he tucked his pair of dragonhide gloves - for now - in his back trouser pocket. Kindly, he conjured two handkerchiefs to hand over to the pair, recognising that the girl was sweating. “Do you feel more partial to cats?” came the question, directed to the young boy. Was the heat getting to him or to Mira, it was really hard to tell at this point. But he shook his head, "I'd definitely told them that we should share an owl. No point in getting two owls." Honestly, her logic was failing her already? He was definitely convince the heat was affecting the sister more than himself. He was merely miserable because he was dying to know how the book was going to end. "Ew. Why would I want a rat or a toad? They're so lame. Cats are more interesting ..." But before he could continue on, an older wizard appeared and interjected, offering him and his sister handkerchiefs for the sweat. "Oh, thank you. Um, well, I don't know, I guess so. I mean, is there something I'm overlooking about cats? But they seem more appealing. But also like not super time consuming and needy that they would distract from any tasks." Like crups were adorable, but also demanding of your affection 25-7 and no thank you.
