Not a chore then, though she still questioned if that was the case or not. It wasn't a judgement, Circe, she was no better with compliments under normal circumstances - of course, Gavin was the exception to that. Naturally. "Well you know I'm all for a challenge, so by all means I'll support you on this one... feel free to practice on me as much as you like." She may have been teasing just slightly, but there was a great deal of truth to her offer.

The look on Gavin's face was usually priceless, but especially so when she was taking her time with mulling things over. So needless to say, she had enjoyed the journey in reaching this point in conversation as much as she appreciated his cheerful tone. The offer too, was exceptional. "Thanks for your offer, though I'll respectfully decline... I'm not in the market for a cure." For that, or anything else really. "But by all means, if you're bored, you're welcome to brew something for me." She could hardly decline that, especially if she could watch.

Still without coffee, the last of her sandwich was essentially forced down her throat. Food was not something she usually had difficulty with ingesting, but on this occasion she was a little parched. A solution to her dilemma was quickly achieved though, as Gavin's expression was all the invitation she needed to what was left of his coffee. It didn't surprise her that he didn't approve of the unknown source of the brew, even if he was being finicky. "Oh you should be impressed, but don't be fooled, I'm only on my best behaviour when I'm with you." Purely because she had no reason to be sociable with others. Still there were small steps.

The offer had been real enough but he couldn't help but find humour in it, mostly because it was her. "I think we've both come to the conclusion that isn't a good idea." Given all the times he'd made attempts at compliments that he ended up needing to clarify as compliments after so she wouldn't run him through with the sharpest object on her at the moment. "Seems more like I should get extra practice then come ask your opinion." That last part was only a joke. He hardly thought Emily would appreciate him going around throwing compliments at everyone and he didn't have it in him to anyway.

That right there could have been the end of it. She didn't want a cure. Couldn't very well force one on her--technically...because technically speaking it was a simple brew that could be distributed evenly into her food and drink repetitively. "Have it your way." Merlin knew she would anyway. "I will take you up on that offer though, anything you had in mind?" He had been meaning to brew something again, Ashley had been bothering him enough and getting Avery to as well.

The fact she was helping herself to his coffee didn't bother him in the least. It wasn't like he was going to be finishing it and if it sat there it would only get cold. Perfect waste of coffee right there, or at least that's how she would have seen it. It didn't mean he wasn't going to be eyeing the cup as she drank. It was called caring, similar to her wanting to put security outside his home. "I figured as much. Without me present I find it hard to believe you'd jump at the chance of people social or leaving yourself idle." Common fact right there. It just wasn't Emily. "Doubt you'd question the coffee in this place when I'm not here."

Patrick kneeeeeeew she was an Unspeakable...soooo hanging out around her level wasn't too bad an idea, right? Right! After wandering about for a bit he located this funky little room and plopped into a free chair. BAM.

Now to open the book and pretend to be relaxing while actually waiting around to see if Abbigail would pop up. Waiting face activated!

Abby walked into the Mismatched Seating area stretching her arms above her head, intertwining her fingers making her rings clash and yawning lightly. This has been a heck of a first day

She looked around the room, not paying much attention, only a man in sight as far as she could see, but he appeared to be too concentrated on reading and she was too eager to sit down, so she didn't take the time to analyze him. Whoever he was, he could only be a Unspeakable like herself or someone who wasn't scared of this level like many other workers seemed to be, and that was fine with her. And if he tried something funny, she was ready to curse his bottom to the moon and back with a few spells.

She slumped down on a rather large arm chair. She sighed and let her head drop back closing her eyes for a moment. Keeping her ears alert, of course.

Patrick looked up at the sound of an approaching someone. GLORIOUS! IT WAS HER! But... she didn't seem to notice him. Well. Ouch. Okay.

Putting the book down he crossed one leg over the other and watched her, clearly amused. "You know how to bruise an ego, gorgeous. " He spoke softly and smiled crookedly. Daaaaang she was hawt. Mhm.

Abby arched an eyebrow - eyes still closed - and slowly peeked at the voice. It's Patrick! She nearly jumped from her seat, sitting straight. She hadn't seen him since the MoM mingle session. They didn't talk much, she still didn't know much about him but somehow they kept bumping into one another.

Must be fate.. Or he's just stalking you. She added with humor, a smile creeping up her face.

"Ohh.. hey, I didn't see you there, I'm sorry. I'm having one of those days" she apologized signaling him to come closer "How are you Patrick?" she asked, using his first name for the first time - which was odd - but sounded really good. Was it just her or did it get hotter in the room all of the sudden? Rawr.

Patrick smiked wider as he watched her reaction and heard her speak. Geez... she was gorgeous. Like really. When she motioned him closer he vacated his seat and moved into an armchair opposite hers.

"No need for apology, Abbigail," he said waving off the apology with a chuckle. "My entire life is a series of those days ," he said in all seriousness. Heh.

How was he? "Well I'm... having trouble sleeping, if I'm being honest. You see... I can't get you out of my head. I had to see you again." Suave? You betcha! Bam!

If she had been eating, her food would be flying out of her mouth right now. What? Who me?! She feld completely baffled in that moment. Talk about boldness, you Sir are the father of it.

If this moment occurred a few years ago, her face would be turning purple by now, but since she was much cooler these days - heh - only a faint pink tone was showing at the top of her cheeks.

She patted her collarbone softly to avoid scratching it before answering him - her new tattoo was healing and she felt like scratching the thing.

"I would ask why, but I kinda wanted to see you too you know.." she admitted softly giving him a seductive smile. "But you're here now, I'm here, why don't we make something out of this time and get to know each other better? Tell me something about you, yeah?" she winked at him, leaning back in her chair, eyeing him.

Jasmine decided to go to the underground coffee club to meet one of her friends Ronnie. She had hardly seen her since she was in her new department and new level. It was all getting so crazy. She was meeting new people and having new tasks but right now she wanted comfort. She wanted to see Ronnie from her old department and just have some catch up time. As she made her way through the club she noticed the seat were here. The seats look comfortable and she noticed a foosball table. She was gonna ask Ronnie to play with her later but right now she waited patiently at the table. She was just excited to see her best friend.

Wasn't this whole underground coffee club just such a cute thing?! Ronnie loved it so much, and she was so excited to see her friend Jazz. It felt like ages since they'd seen each other since Jazz had changed departments, which Ronnie was eager to ask about.

As soon as she walked in, she glanced around and spotted her right away. Giving a wave, she made her way over and gave her a hug. "Hey, it's so good to see you!" she said, pulling away to sit down across from her. She smiled. "So, new department! I want to hear all about it!" she said excitedly.

As Jazz was waiting for Ronnie, she was eyeing the foosball table and the people playing it. It seemed like a lot of fun, then she noticed her walking in and she formed the biggest smile on her face. She was soo happy to see her. "Hey it is great to see you too!" she replied getting up and planting kisses on both side of her cheeks. It was the proper thing to do right? Her mother taught her that at a young age. Hopefully Ronnie didn't find that weird.

But as they sat back down, Ronnie asked about her new department. She grinned and played with her hair and began to talk. "Well it is really nice actually. I mean I met the boss and he seems pretty chill. I made a fool out of myself at the garden party because I asked what his job was and I already knew." she laughed and hid her face. "But I have meet new people and they seem pretty nice and fun but nothing compared to you and Alex.." she said. Those people will never replace her Environment friends. "I did check out my office and found it awesome. I explored the department and there is a pool table and a pool there..." she said in awe.

But enough about her! "How is Environment going?" she asked her friend. She did miss them tons but this is nice to meet at different places like this. She never knew this existed.

Ronnie chuckled as Jazz gave kisses upon the sides of her face. Was Jazz French of something? That's what the French people did, but then again maybe Jazz just did it too. And Ronnie totally didn't mind it.

She smiled as Jazz began to fill her in on her new job, and she laughed a little when she mentioned the garden party. Awwww. "Well, I'm sure he didn't mind that much, yeah? You were being polite and all." she said with a shrug. "But anyways, I'm glad you're liking it. That's good to hear." she nodded with a smile.

"Oh, it's good," she began with a small nod. "I mean, I was out sick for a long while and only just got back not long ago but it's been good so far. We have one new member I have yet to meet." she smiled. "So, the whole minister thing," she went on, changing the subject. "Pretty interesting, yeah? I'm curious on who it'll be."

Patrick watched her closely an amused smirk stretching his lips. She looked as though if she was a cartoon character her eyes would he bugging out comically.

And she was blushing now... cute. Super cute. "You did?" he asked beaming? "I mean... of course you did. I'm pretty awesome." WINK.

Oh. Ow. Something about him? "I'm weird. I am from Enniskerry. My surname is McAllister." Some thingS about him...

Jazz laughed and nodded, "Yeah I don't think he minded at all actually. He was probably thinking I am an idiot but that is with every first impression.." she joked with her friend. But he did keep her so she didn't screw up too badly. Jazz smiled and was glad her friend was happy with her choices. Even though she did change she still had Ronnie through thick and thin. Awww Ronnie was sick for a while, that is a shame. Oooohh a new member. "Ooooh I wonder who it is!" Jazz asked excitedly. "Maybe you can snoop around and tell me the name." she winked.

Aahh change of subject, she smiled and nodded. "Yeah it is interesting. I wonder who is gonna be picked. I mean I did go to the party last night and it was interesting meeting the candidates. There were soo many. I mean I do not know how they are gonna choose.." Jazz told her friend earnestly. Maybe Ronnie knew more about politics than she did.

Ronnie laughed. Silly Jazz. "I'm sure it is," she teased with a wink. Totally not true, though. At least, Ronnie's first impression of Jazz wasn't that way. She thought Jazz seemed super awesome and a great person, and she was definitely right. She then nodded. "Oh, I will! I plan on meeting them soon. I've just been trying to catch up since I've been gone and all." she explained.

Chuckling, the red head nodded in agreement. "Yeah I went too. I liked them all almost the same, to be honest. It should definitely be difficult to pick who will take the position..." and a big position it was! Ronnie could never see herself doing that sort of thing. Nahh. She was fine in her little assistant job.

She laughed softly "Enniskerry? Never been there ... Patrick McAllister " she said, pronouncing his name slowly, playing with the syllables.

"Why would you said you're weird though? I mean.. I know why people call me weird but.." she put her tongue out playfully at him, pulling her left sleeve up, touching a drawing of a cat with her index finger, making him dance. And yes, it was true, she was flirting with him. No shame.

Jazz laughed and playfully punched her friend on the shoulder. She winked back too and raised her eyebrows when she was gonna meet with the new member. "Great! Well if he is cute drop him my number.." she teased and winked. But seriously she wanted to know if it was a guy or a girl. But if it was a cute guy Jazz would flirt with him. But onto talking about politics.

Oh yeah it was a huge position to fill. "Trust me you will never see me running for a huge position like that. I mean I am a great public speaker and can talk well with people but just having that much power scares me.." she shrugged and looked around and wondered if Ronnie wanted any drinks. "Hey do you want any drinks?" she asked curiously.

WAIT! She needed to tell some gossip first, "And while we get our coffee I need to tell you something that happened while I was in pequod's cafe.." she winked and started walking towards the coffee.

Ronnie rolled her eyes at what Jazz said and laughed. "Sure thing," she said with another laugh. She actually wouldn't mind hooking the up - if the new worker was a guy - she wanted Jazz to have a boyfriend so that they could go on double dates. Wouldn't that be fun?

"Me neither!" she agreed, shaking her head. Then, Jazz asked if she wanted drinks and she nodded. She had just been thinking about that, actually. She was just so caught up in the conversation! Rising from her seat, she raised her eyebrows when Jazz mentioned having something to tell her. Cocking her head slightly, she followed, catching up to her. "What is it?" she asked eagerly.

Jasmine thanked her and laughed. "Or maybee you can flirt with him.." she winked. She didn't know if she had a boyfriend or maybe even a girlfriend. Who knows. She would find out by her answer soon enough. As they went to go get their drinks because trust me, Jazz needed it for what she was gonna tell Ronnie. She got a nice apple spiced tea and went back to her seat and sipped it and waited for it to cool down. It was too hott.

She put her hands together and smiled giddily. "Wellll I actually did meet a nice man in Diagon Alley not too long ago. He was new and he was kind of charming and good looking.." she blushed just talking about him. "His name is Alex for short but he has a really long spanish name so I just call him Alex.." she said just talking up a storm. "I was in the pequod cafe and he just happened to sit with me and talking about his home life and such and flirting with me non stop." It was true but she enjoyed every second of it. "And I couldn't help myself but kiss him first because he was the dream guy I always thought he would be..." she took a breath and stopped talking to let Ronnie process all the new information. "I know the kiss was kind of soon but it was a spur of the moment thing and I couldn't control it." she said justifying her actions.

Ronnie laughed, shaking her head. "Nah, I already have a guy of my own..." she said, smiling shyly. And speaking of which, she hadn't been on a date with him in forever. She missed their dates. Sometimes work could make you so busy...

The red head raised her eyebrows when Jazz mentioned meeting a man in Diagon Alley. Oooh she could tell this would be a good story by the way she was bluuuushing! Leaning forward a little in curiosity, she listened intently, gasping when she said he flirted with her non-stop. And then, Jazz said she KISSED him! W H A T. No way! Ronnie let out an even louder gasp at this. "Oh my gosh!" she practically squealed in excitement. Realizing how loud she had been, she cleared her throat, glancing around herself at the people nearby before leaning in towards her friend with interest. "Well, go on then! There's got to be more!" she said. How exciting and ADORABLE was this?!?! Awww she was so very happy for her friend.

Waittt she had a guy of her own? Jazz raised her eyebrows and was curious about this. "Can you give me a little information on this guy. I am sorry if you have mentioned it before but I need a refresher..." she winked. She wanted to know about Ronnie's love life too. She was smiling slyly which meant she was keeping something from her and that wasn't gonna happen. As she was telling her story, she saw Ronnie listening and leaning towards her and was giving her all the attention. Once she heard her gasp and she looked around and they got looks from other people. Jazz shrugged it off and laughed. What it was typical girl talk right? This is what friends do!

Jasmine smiled and blushed and squirmed a bit. "Well there is a little bit more. I mean I am gonna meet one of his sisters from back home I think.." she said if she was remembering it correctly. "He is also taking me on a bowling date very soon.." she smiled widely. She was quite excited because she loved doing something active for a date. She hated like the dinner and a movie cliche. She liked to do something new well bowling wasn't new but it was something different. "But other than that kiss..." she smirked even deeper. "I mean we are going on a date soon and he knows how to treat a lady that is for sure and between you and me.....he was my first kiss I had in a while.." she shrugged and showing her innocence a bit.

Ronnie laughed, taking a strand of her bright orange hair and twirling it around her finger slowly as she blushed slightly when Jazz wanted to know more. "I don't believe I've told you about him," she began with a giggle. She didn't know why, but she always just got so awfully giggly when talking about him! "We started dating at Hogwarts in our last two years I believe...and we have been ever since. I was a Gryffindor, he was a Hufflepuff. His name is Jory Stonewall." she explained, shifting in her chair. "He's super cute and so dreamy! I mean, he's just the guy I've always wanted, y'know? He makes me so very happy and I love being around him." she added.

Ronnie could help but laugh a little at how Jazz got so excited and squirmy discussing this guy. You could tell she really liked him! It was adorable. Okay, back to the story. Ronnie leaned in once more as Jazz went on. She squealed once more, clapping her hands together when she mentioned them going on a bowling date. Aww! How exciting! She smiled. "Well, I'm really happy for you that you met him. He seems good to me, I approve." she gave a wink. "And when you two do this bowling date you have to tell me how it goes! Promise?" she stuck out her pinky, because that was the ONLY way she'd know a promise would be kept.

Jasmine smiled when she was talking about Jory. He did seem dreamy and she just felt happy for her friend. "I guess he was love at first sight huh?" she asked with a smirk. Awww he was the guy she always wanted. That was adorable! Jazz couldn't help but smile and thought it was sappy but she loved it. She hoped she could tell someone this one day. "Well make sure we have a day where I can meet him right?" she asked. She really wanted to meet Dr. Dreamy. She wondered what he looked like.

Jazz heard Ronnie's approval and she beamed! She was glad her friend approved. Man she did miss having Ronnie on her floor but she loved doing this too just going out and having a nice cup of coffee with her friends. Psshh she would definitely tell her all the details. "Oh of course I will. Don't worry girl you will know all the details.." she winked. "I mean I am going bowling tomorrow and I can't wait to meet him.." she smiled and gushed. She held out her pinky and intertwined it with hers. "You have my word on this girl."

She looked around and noticed a foosball table and she wondered if Ronnie was up to playing it. "Do you wanna play foosball over there?" she asked nodding her head towards the table.

Ronnie blushed and nodded a little. "I never did believe in that silly nonsense of 'love at first sight' but when I saw him, I understood and it made perfect sense." she smiled shyly; saying all that probably sounded so very...cheesy!

Cheesy but true.

"Yeah, of course!" she nodded eagerly. She'd love for the two to meet! "Him and I are moving into our new house soon and we're probably going to have our friends over to celebrate or something, so perhaps then." she suggested with a smile.

The red head beamed as their pinkies entwined. Good. So she really had her word then. "Good! I can't wait." she said, her eyes widening when she mentioned foosball. WHAAAAT. Really? Where? She glanced around and spotted it, leaping up from her chair. "Yes yes! I'd love to! Let's go!" she exclaimed, eagerly making her way over. She was a PRO at foosball!

The food court was surprisingly less populated than it could have been which left Lex wondering if most people had decided to eat out today. In any case that worked all the better for them because of how quickly they were able to get their food. Naturally, Lex's lunch consisted more of sweets than actual food and it left a spring in her step. The thought of consuming all this sugar was enough to excite her. Ahem.

Once through the hole, Alexa made her way to one of the longer couches. Her food was placed on the seat itself while she chose to occupy one of the couch's sturdy arms.

"Have you had lunch here before?" She asked looking around at the seemingly empty room. Maybe...there was a memo today...that everyone should eat out if it was possible and she simply missed it. "Found it on a patrol, thought it strange people kept heading down here then disappearing."

The coffee was placed on the ground by here, before she reached for a chocolate cupcake. Caffeine was apparently an MLE thing but she was still smitten with her sugar, thank you. It would take time.
