A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

As soon as she was rinsed off, Ana dried quickly and put on her robes again. It was a shame to dress in dirty clothes after a shower, but there was no alternative. Finally, she opened the door and slipped back into the room.

"I'm fine," Ana clutched her hands together behind her back and stared at a spot on the floor. "I need to get ready for my first class, so if you'll excuse me..."

Ana stepped out into the corridor and spotted two fourth years in the corridor. They stared at her, and she spun to face Doyle again. "Thank you very much for the potion, Professor Branxton. I'll get it to Poppy right away." She wasn't sure if she was fooling them at all, considering her hair was wet, her clothes were rumpled, she didn't hold a vial, and she was blushing.

He spotted the students just before he could ask her what she was talking about. Perfect. He could hear the student rumor mill starting to grind. "Of course, Professor Granger. Good day," he said, softly closing the door and walking into the bathroom to prepare for the day.

Ana nodded at the children and took off almost at a dead run for her rooms. She needed to change and maybe lie down for a bit before she could be expected to teach any classes.

Warrick quickly came to the surface and saw Aria's smirk. So, that's how you want to play it then. He thought then dove under and swam across. He stayed down below where she couldn't see him. When he heard her pounding feet get closer, he jumped out of the water and tackled her. He picked her up and took her into the lake with him. He took her out several feet, about his waist high, unwrapped her arms from around him, and dropped her into the water.

Wei awoke, wrapped in arms that felt so perfect. She sighed. 'Morning.' she pushed back against that body, content for the first time in as long as she could remember.

Aria jumped as Ricky came back behind her and tackled her and then carried her towards the lake. Her eyes got wide and she held her breath as he tossed he in the middle of it. She shivered as she surfaced and took the ponytail holder out of her hair and it was then she noticed the different color. She turned to Ricky. "Just drying my hair eh?" she said with a chuckle. "Hope you like it this color, cause I might just leave it." She swam towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. She then pulled away and dunked his head under water.

Warrick smiled as she noticed the hair color change, "Actually, you won't leave it, Aria." He said regretfully, "The spell only lasts twenty-four hours."

He resurfaced under Aria, picked her up and spun her around. "Do you just want to go inside and dry off, or shall we just swim for now?" He asked with a smile on his face.

Aria laughed as he spun her around. "I might just have to keep changing it then." she said sticking her tongue out. "Hmm. Swimming actually sounds like a good idea, since the whole running idea didn't quite pan out the way I figured it would. However going inside and changing would also be good. I need some breakfast and you did drop the canteloupe." She told him with a wink.

"Only because you made me!" Warrick insisted. "So, a quick swim, down and back, then back inside?" He asked. When Aria agreed, they swam off together. After returning to the bank they started at, Warrick helped her out of the water and walked with her toward the school.

Aria laughed and swam with Ricky a little while. As they got out and started back to the castle, Aria reached for his hand and held it, leaning her head against his shoulder. "So, breakfast now? And I'm totally not going to take the blame for your canteloupe." she said giggleing and poking his shoulder.

Warrick laughed, put an arm around her and pulled her close to him. "Yes, dear" he said, while rolling his eyes. "Breakfast, only if you want to go to the Great Hall wet...............or were you thinking of breakfast for two?" He asked, winking in her direction.

"Hmmmm it doesn't matter to me. Just as long as there is waffles and strawberries involved." she said with a laugh ignoring the wink and rolling her eyes. "I do want to shower again though so either way, first stop is my room." she said turning toward him and kissing him.

"Well," said Warrick as they entered the school, "if we're having to stop at your room anyway, may as well ask the house elves to get us something." He pointe down the hall. "See? they're probably wondering why we're not there." he chuckled.

Wei smiled suddenly. 'Yes, this is exactly how I wanted to wake up.' She sighed, snuggling down in his arms. 'What time is it? Not time for classes yet is it?' She turned, sneaking a hand up his back.

"It's early yet," Cole propped his chin on her head and closed his eyes. "We have time to just lay here together and get used to be together like this again. Or... if you're feeling a bit more frisky..." He pulled the hair back from her neck and ran his finger down her spine.

Aria laughed as she looked where Ricky pointed. She walked over to her quarters and unlocked the door. "You can either wait in here and order something or head down to the kitchens and grab something from there." She kissed him and headed off to take another shower.

"You're sure you don't want company in there, are you?" He asked with a chuckle as she headed to her bathroom.

Warrick asked the house elves for a breakfast try and ran down to his room for a quick shower himself, changed into his work jeans and a t-shirt then went back to Aria's room. She was still showering when the house elves arrived with the try, he thanked them and set the tray on the table, then laid on Aria's bed, waiting for her.

Aria turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. She wrapped the towel around herself and grabbed her wand to dry her hair. She stood and looked in the mirror, laughed and shook her head at the color. "Eh it's only for a day." she said good naturedly. Walking out back into her room she noticed Ricky laying on her bed. She smirked at him and went and got her clothes and went back into the bathroom to change. When she came out she layed back down on her bed and snuggled up to him. "You do like to make yourself comfortable on my bed." she said smiling at him and running her hand along his chest and looking into his eyes.

He fought it for as long as he could, but conciousness was persistant if nothing else. Mark groaned into his pillow, shifting to peer about the room. His eyes fell on the open folder witha sigh as he peeled himself off the bed. Granger. He rubbed his eyes, thinking it over. He'd better get started. Once he was dressed and clean, he set off, making his way quickly to her rooms. If he hurried, he might catch her before class.

Settling awkwardly, Mark knocked on Ana's door.

Cole grinned against her mouth. "I'll take that as one vote for friksy, and since I'm voting for that as well, it's unanimous." He ran a fingertip across her cheekbones and over her nose, rememorizing her face.

Ana had barely made it to her quarters before someone knocked on the door. She flung open the door with wild eyes, not sure who exactly to expect but clearly expecting the worst. "Mark..." she relaxed visibly, although she knew she looked a fright. Day old, rumpled robes and her hair wet and flowing down her back.
