The Northway Cottage

You walked up to a little cottage on the outskirts on Sutton Coldfield, England.This cottage has a blue mailbox and not a very long driveway.The grass is green and the plants are colorful.She walked up to the wooden door and open it.A burst of cold air cools you off and you walked right inside.

The walls are covered with pictures of people.You see one with a girl with blond hair and a boy with brown.This is a picture of Reese and her cousin,Keith.You see one of Reese's family and see a older boy sitting next to Reese.Who could that be?It's no other than,Ryan,her brother that died.There are tons more pictures,but you need to keep moving on,so you take once last glance and walked down the hall.

On your right, is the kitchen.It has a oven(well,duh.) and a large table in the middle of the room.You see Mrs.Northway cooking dinner for her child and husband and decide not to bother her.

On you left, is the living room.It had two large couches and a large TV.This room is filled with flowers from Mrs.Northway's garden.It makes the room smell nice.You walk in a little bit more and see Mr.Northway asleep on the couch.Better not make too much noise.

You walk out of the room and there's a little door right next to the living room.You open it and it's a small bathroom with a toilet and a shower.Not much to see here.You close the door.

You a little more ways down the hallway and see a door on your right.She gently open it and it's Mr and Mrs Northway's room.It has a king bed and a single bathroom.The room is filled with pictures of Reese and Ryan.There'a a small TV in the corner,but it's not turned on.You close the door and head down the hallways all the way to the back of the house.

On you left,is another door.You open it and it's a empty room except for a bed.This must have been Ryan's room.There's not much to see here,so you close the door.

On the right is the last bedroom in the house.This must be Reese's room.The door has a sign on it saying:NO BOYS ALLOWED.You smile and open the door.The room is painted in a sky blue color and her bed covers are green.She has a large mirror on the wall and tons of pictures around it.Her closet is full of clothes and it looks overstuffed.Better get out before Ree catched you.You close the door and head outside.

When you walk out the door,you smell...salt?Yes,that is right.Reese lives right near the beach and enjoys going down there every once in a while.

Come and Visit Reese...She LOVES company

Alex looked at Derek shocked. "No Derek, I don't know what happened." She let out a sigh and looked at the floor again, fresh tears running down her face. "It's been so long since I've seen L.J., and seeing him again, I don't know, it brought back my feelings I had for him, the feelings I thought that left me." She told him sadly.

" Right he's here closer more conveinent than a guy in Drumstang. Alex it wasn't like I want to go there. My mumdidn't exactly give me a choice in the matter. " he lookeda t his feet. " All I've done has been think and worry about you. thats why I came here and .... I find out ."

Alex looked at Derek, she didn't know what to say, what to do. She looked back at the floor trying to think of something. "I...I've been thinking about you and worrying too Derek." She told him truthfully. "I'm sorry you had to find out like that, I didn't mean to hurt you." She looked back at him, wondering what was going to happen. "Where do we stand?"

Derek looked at her was she seriously asking him that? he couldn't beleive it.
" Are you serious?" He nearly laughed at her. " You made THAT pretty clear about an hour ago. It's ...." He looked way from her and tried to blink back his feelings. " over... your free to be with that guy you really care about."

Alex took a step back from Derek, his words cutting into like a knife. She tried to wipe away her tears but everytime she did fresh ones formed. She looked away from Derek, not being able to look at him, to see him. "I...I really am sorry Derek." She said to him as her eyes landed on Reese. "I really did care about you, I still do." She turned back to Derek looking at him, feeling guilty. "Just promise me you'll becareful."

Reese turned on her heels and went back into the kitchen.She sat back donw at the table and just cried.The party WASN'T over just,yet.

Alex watched as Derek left the house, guilt, pain, fear, sadness, all of it filling inside her. She turned in the opposite direction from where he was going and headed into the kitchen only to find Reese in there, she too was crying. "Why in the name of merlin should you be crying?" She asked her, anger filling inside her.

Reese looked up at Alex."Why should you care if I'm crying?"She stayed in her seat and looked up at Alex.

Alex glared at Reese. "Because you have no reason to, how about that? It's not like your boyfriend came to surprise you and instead he finds out you love your best friend who doesn't seem to like you the same way. Then watch your best friend who is like your sister dancing with him and then have your boyfriend dump you in the middle of a party." Alex told her angrily, tears flowing down her face.

Alex blinked at Reese, she didn't just yell at her! "Then swallow in your sorrow Reese! The problems you are going through are your own fault and don't you dare yell at me because of it!" Alex yelled back at her 'sister'. She looked at the cheesecake that was in front of them. "You like cheescake right, well..." She started picking up a whole cheesecake. "Let's see how well you wear it!" She yelled before throwing the cheesecake into Reese's face.

Alex shook her hand after hitting Reese with the cheesecake. "Yup looks great on you, you should wear it more often." She told her, anger still flaring inside her. "Why? Well let's see, why did I do that.. hmmm, uh let's try you danced with L.J. for one, then you yelled at me for no apparent reason!" She yelled at her. "Derek dumped me because I told L.J. I like him more than Derek! You would know that if you were a true friend and listened to me!"

"I danced with Lucas?Lucas came and took me away from Dustin when I was dancing with him,"Reese said.She wiped some cheese off her face and wrote a "L" on Alex's forhead with it.She smiled."That letter is perfect for you."

Alex felt her heart drop again that night, Lucas, asked Reese to dance? She blinked a couple of times sadness and depression flowing through her until Rees put the 'L' on her forhead. She wiped it away and with out thinking, without knowing what she was doing, she pulled her arm back and punched Reese.

Reese fell back when Alex punched.Ouch.Her nose.She walked back up against the wall."It doesn't need to get physical,Alex."She rubbed her nosed which felt broken.Great.

Alex laughed at Reese, how little she acted right then. "What's the matter Reese, can throw the punches but can't take them?" She asked not even worried if her friend was okay or not. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before you mess with me!"

Reese had ENOUGH.She walked over to Alex and punched her square in the face.She back up and looked at her.She took deep breaths and looked around.Hopefully nobody could hear them.

Cora tried to wriggle away from him but as his arms wrapped around her, she gave up. He was so waaarm and...she'd never be able to be held by him again. Might as well make the most of it. "But how can we be friends?" She whispered. "I like you too much. It's gone a bit far for us to be friends, hasn't it?" She asked, looking up to see his face just inches from hers. And she couldn't touch it, kiss it, hold it. It wasn't hers to do that any more.

She wanted so bad to stop crying. It hurt Cora when he cried. CALE looked like she was about to cry too! "Cale I-" She stopped. No. She could never admit to loving someone, just as they broke up with her. She couldn't. It would be humiliating when he said that he couldn't love her back.

Alex took a step back as she felt Reese's fist connect against her face. She looked down at her hand after touching her nose to find it bloody. She glared daggers at her ex best friend. "You're going to pay for that!" She yelled at her before running up to her, punching, kicking, hair pulling, anything you could think of, Alex did to Reese.

Reese tried to get Alex off of her,but ti was impossible.Reese did manage to get a hold of her wand that must have feel out of her pocket.She aimed it at Alex and yelled,"STUPEFY!!"
