When Jamie and Jason were done dancing, Jamie wandered over to where Mel and Chris were. "Hey you two." She said.

Dustin smiled. "Shes cool." he told her but looked back at her. "Yo since Jeremy aint here and you ARE the host.. how about letting me give you the first dance of the night?" he asked giving her a puppy dog look.

"Actually,it would be the second dance,"Reese said."But,okay."She smiled.

Lucas walked over to the table that was cover in butterbeers, deserts and other little goodies. He reach over and grabbed himself a butterbeer, before turning around and resting his back against the table, while looking out to the dance floor where many witches and wizards were dancing around having fun. Though there were other areas of the room where some people seemed to not be having as much fun.

More like having quite angerly conversations with others. Lucas' eyes then darted towards the people playing around with the mike-a-foam, or something like that. It seemed to project their voices loudly through little black boxes surrounding the room. It sure was another interesting muggle device. Lucas thought to himself.

Dustin laughed and shook his head. "No silly my first dance." he said laughing. He grabbed her hand and led her to the dance floor. He twirled around. Just then a slow song came on. He grunted. "Im no good at these songs." he said knowing it wont the truth. He just didnt wana slow dance with her. felt a lil like betraying his buddy Jeremy. He shrugged. It wasnt like he was goign to ask her out or anything. He did a lil giggle to get himself ready and put out a hand for her to grab and then put a hand on her waist.. high on her waist. he laughed. 'Ready?" he asked.

Reese followed Dustin onto the dance floor."I'm ready if you ready."

Dustin smiled. "Girl dont you know I was born to dance?" he asked and began stepping in tune to the slow music he wiggled his eyebrows. "So... seems like ou got something on your mind?" he said not looking at her but around the room as they danced.

Reese started dancing with him."There's something I've been needing to tell you.If Jeremy hasn't already..."She stopped and took a deep breath."I'm offically broke up with him."She looked down at her feet.

Josh sighed as he nodded at her." I will try." he told her as he knew he woudl still feel a bit more guilty."sure. sounds like fun." he told her as he would go pretty much anywhere with cheesecake. though he wasnt stupid.. it just depended. And over to a table seemed just safe enough. he looked over at her when she said that maybe he wouldnt act like the world had collapsed. " my friends are everything to me.. when something bad happens to them, so does it to me." he explained ot her. he knew he couldnt fix everything...but that would never stop him from trying.he knew he tried to save the world and everything.. but thats who he was." I cant help it.." he told her." its what i do..." he explained. he chuckled at her last comment." i dont know.. i can say it though."

Dustin stopped dancing ... "What?" he asked in disbelief. Actually he hadnt heard from eremy in a while. 'Why? Wat happened?" he asked regaining his composure and continued dancing.

Lucas' eyes finially landed on a couple on the dance floor. It was Reese and another guy, from what Lucas could see it wasnt Jeremy though. A little smirk made its way onto his face as he slowly began to walk up to the dance floor, not removing his eyes from Reese.

As he finially made his way over to Reese and the strange guy, Lucas tapped his shoulder, before saying. "Mind if I cut in?" Before the guy could even answer Lucas took Reese hands from him and pulled her towards Lucas. Wrapping his arms around her waist, "I like this song." He wispered to her. "Figured if there were anyone around here I should dance with, It should be you." He spoke softly into her ear.

Melinda was just about to sit down when...

She saw Jamie. "Hey...." She answered and waved to her friend. "Long time no see.." She said.

"Hey! Yeah I had to go out side. It was getting to crowded." Jamie told her.

"It just wasn't working out,"Reese said.That's all she could say.It really wasn't working out.


Before Reese knew it she was dancing with Lucas.She looked back at Dustin and gave him a 'sorry' look.She looked back at Lucas."So,what have you been up to?Didn't see you around for a while."

Dustin crossed his arms when the boy cut in. It wasnt that he was mad that eh cut in.. it was the way he did it and was all on her. Jeremy... o yeah Jeremy wasnt in the picture any more but stil wasnt Reese moving a little fast? He rolled his eyes and headed off the dance floor in search for another dance partner.

Alex decided that it really wasn't too bright at the moment to just go off to find death eaters, okay not bright at all. She smiled at Sabrina and lowered her head. "Sorry Sabrina, I was follish, couldn't think right." She told her and gave her another hug. "Lets go back inside, maybe I can talk with Derek." She said and walked back inside, looking for Derek. She scaned the room, she couldn't find any sight of him whatsoever. Her eyes carried over to the dance floor and she felt her heart drop like a ton of bricks. There in the middle was Lucas and Reese dancing together. She felt all feeling leave her as she sat down in a chair nearby, watching her 'sister' and the guy she really liked, possibly love, dancing.

Jai smiled at him, she knew he'd never get over would it be betterr to just suggest not talking? It would probably help him get over the guilt that was obviously eating at him. What could she say to make him stop? Was there words for this? She'd been hurt before, but the guys didn't feel guilt so she couldn't find the right words. She got two butter beers and set on the counter incase he wanted one.

"This is so not the perfect time to be talking about this but, Josh why do you even feel guilty? It wasn't working for you and I was too blind to see that, you did the right thing. Nothing bad happened to me, you probably saved me from some serious damage." but still caused some "How many people do you think you can save at a time? Even superman needs rest sometimes, maybe he should start thinking about whats right for him, what he needs and not what everybody wants." she said softly to him. She would have given him a hug or even a pat but she wasn't even sure how comfortable he felt at the moment.

Chris saw Jamie come over. "Hey Jamie." He said to her still holding Mel's hand.

"Umm.. I dont no.. nothin really. Was hanging out with Alex. But stuff kinda.. Well nevermind." He said, unisure of if he should tell her or not. Finially he had decided that he had not wanted to tell her, mainly because.. Well Alex had just pretty much told Lucas she liked him.

And well, Lucas also has feelings for Alex aswell, but he also has crazy feelings about Reese. It was all to complicated for even Lucas to handle, he didnt know what to do, who to choose. Well that is if he even has a choose, he still had no clue what Reese thought about him, and she was still with Jeremy anyways.

At least now he probibally didn't really have to worry about Derek, after the little scene with Alex, Derek and Lucas. Lucas had a feeling that well, Alex and Derek were now over.

Lucas finially brought his mind back to reality, shaking all the thoughts that were racing through his head away. He looked down into Reese deep brown eyes, before pulling her even closer to himself. (If that was even possible). "Your Party is doing.. Pretty good. I Like that Mike-a-Foam thing." Lucas said stupidly.

"Hey Chris! Hows it goin?" Jamie asked him.

"Microphone?Maybe I'll let you play around with it for a while,"Reese said.She looked at Lucas and smiled.Oh,she really liked him.But Alex...she liked him to.Was it worth her friendship?Well,she needs to tell Lucas the news.The BIG fat news."Lucas..."She cleared her throat."I broke up with Jeremy."

Just at the sound of Reese's words, it felt like a large weight had been lifted from his heart. He could feel an overly large smile trying to make its way onto his face, but trying with all his might he managed to not show it on the outside.

"Oh.." He said, clearing his throat. "What, uh, What Happened?"

"I'd rather not talk about it,"Reese said.She looked at Lucas and smiled."It's doesn't matter anymore."Well,that was over.But she really wanted to tell Lucas she loved him.But...the word couldn't get to her mouth.Lucas doesn't like her the way she likes him.So,why should she make a fool of herself.She laid her head on his chest.She LOVED dancing with him.Just loved it.

Alex continued to watch them dance and to her horror Reese putting her head on Lucas' chest. Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she looked at the floor, she couldn't handle it anymore, none of this. She felt betrayed by her best friend, she felt heartbroken, she felt lost, alone, even if there were a ton of other people there. It didn't matter anymore, none of it, she truely lost everyone she loved and cared about...

"Oh.. Yah thats fine, Well I'll always be here for yah, Reese.." He wispered in her ear just as the song came to an end. He then slowly released her from his grip, though some how he managed to interlock their hands together. Lucas stood there for a minute staring deeply into her eyes, with a comforting and yet mysterious smile plastered to his face, before slowly and gently let her go.

His smile was then replaced by his usual little half smirk. "Um, Did you want to go get a drink?" He asked her, while pointing to the table with the butterbeers. But then something else caught his eyes, something that quickly replaced his smile with a frown. It was Alex, and she looked completely and utterly hurt. Like someone had just crushed her hearts into tiny little peices.

"Whats..Whats wrong with Alex.?" Lucas asked Reese.
