Jai chuckled softly "You know those huffies." she gave him a smile, Jai was glad they were always there for each other, that makes an excellent friendship. She was also glad that they weren't weird around each other. "I know you know but I just thought you'd need a little reminding." she shrugged innocently, that statement had come out wrong, she didn't mean exactly under his nose. That ship had sailed... right, but still she moved closer into his embrace and wrapped her arms around his middle. "I know I do, but how often do you get a guy that gets you and see's past you and all the crap you dish out?" she pressed her head against him "Sometimes you get that one guy and he's nothing but your friend." she smiled.

"And thats all I need for now." Alex would turn up and they'd probably make up by making out, but it wouldn't go beyond that.

Dustin gave a huge smile and wiggled his eyebrows. "Hola!!" he said smiling. He gave a silly bow. "Now Im heere and the party can REALLy start!" he said laughing.

"Thanks," Dusty said with a nod. Reese then stood and went to get the door. So, naturally, Dusty decided he'd go and explore. He made his way into the kitchen and got himself a water bottle, which he pocketed as he looked out the back door into her backyard. Perhaps they'd get a chance to go back there sometime soon.

The young man sighed and sat down at the kitchen table, cracking open his water bottle and taking a nice long drink. Wow, he had been quite thirsty and hadn't even noticed it. Leaning back in his seat, he scratched the back of his head, letting one small twig fall to the floor.

It was then that Anna noticed Jason and Josh seemed to be starting a HUGE arguement. Oh, noes! This was NOT good! This drama had blown up into something a lot bigger than it was intended to. Anna didn't want any of her friends fighting or getting hurt, so she decided to step in and try to stop it early on.

"Jason! Jason!" Anna exclaimed, running to his side. "You're amazing for backing Cale up, and I know he's going to be really appreciative when he finds out, but I don't think fighting is the answer! I don't want anyone - you or Josh - fighting and chancing getting hurt. Josh only meant well, really! He's a really good friend of mine, and he honestly didn't mean any harm! Cale and I are just...going through a lot right now, and we really need your support on a lot of things right now. Something really amazing just happened, but I can't really tell you about it right now," Anna explained. "I'll just say that it makes me really, really happy. It's still complicated, though."

Anna then moved over to Josh and gave him a sympathetic look. "Josh, you must hate me now," Anna said. "All you tried to do was be a good friend to me, and a ton of drama ended up being blown into your face. I totally understand if you never want to see me or talk to me again, but honestly, I really hope you don't feel that way. Like I just told Jason, Cale and I are going through a lot of complicated things right now, and it makes us really extra-emotional about things we normally wouldn't get so upset over. I really hope you understand."

Reese saw in the corner of her eye that Josh winked at her.She gave him a 'thanks for not killing me for changing to song' look.

Reese returned the smile."Hola,Dustin.Yes,the party can get really started now.Come on in."She moved over so Dustin could come in.

Walking into the cottage Dustin looked around... noone was really dancing or... pretty much anything... He cocked his eyebrow and turned to look at Reese. "so.... this is a...." he looked around again.. "A great party!" he said turning back to Reese and smiling.

"Well,it was pumping a while ago,"Reese said.She looked down at the mic in her pocket.Should she?What's the worse that can happen?"Here."She took out the mic and gave it to Dustin."You can make a fool out of yourself."She smiled at him.

Dustin eyed the mic. HE was a terrible singer. Well he thought so. His mom told him he could always sing but he was sure he couldnt. Thats why he took up the guitar. "Um... NO." he said with a grin walking away from her.

"Oh,no,"Reese said."I don't mean sing.You can pump up the party.Introduce yourself...ANYTHING but sing.I wouldn't even let Jai sing.Let along you."She smiled.

Dustin smiled. Now that was more his thing. He grabbed the mic. 'HELLLLOOOO!!!" he said loudly the walls trembling. "What kind of a party is this?" he asked smiling and lookeing around.

"yeah... " their wasnt anything you could say about them."i think everyone needs a reminder at some time and point." he told her honestly." we all get to comfortable..forget stuff you know." he smiled at her as he started to talk. the next thing he knew her head was against his and she was talking about how he was nothing but your friend. he was pretty sure who she was talking about. he pulled his head away as he told her." Im sorry jai. i didnt mean to hurt you..." josh sighed as he then looked at her." The guy your looking for isnt me. i dont love you like that lovefool song.." yeah he thought that was the right song." You'll always be my amazing friend..." he felt bad but thats all he could give her. especially now.. he really couldnt give anyone much these days." I hope your happy, with whatever you choose." oh gesh ..to much drama going on. he needed some food." you want some cheesecake?" he asked.


Josh looked over to see anna talking to him. he chuckled at he as he shook his head." dont worry about it anna. It isnt your fault. besides i could never hate you." he told her honestly. she reminded him WAY to much of agie. he listened to her as he nodded," Its fine really anna. i understand complicated. Its the word that describes my life the best." it was true.. he was rather complicated. " its fine really.. You can just suck it up and admit that snakes are better and we will be set." he teased.

Melinda looked around. Chris and her had been dancing for a long while, yet not caring to what song was on. She pulled out from Chris and said, "Thirsty?" She asked and smiled. She walked to the food table and picked two bottled waters.

Reese smiled."Did you really think I wanted to be tortured by you singing at my party?"She took the mic from Dustin."Let me introduce you,then you can do whatever you want.EXCEPT embarass me.Monica has that job."

"Okay,Guys.I wanted to introduce you to my friend...DUSTIN!!!"

She smiled and handed the mic back to Dustin."Knock yourself out."

Having wandered around the party for a long, miserable time, Lola entered the main room once more, jostled by the melee of moving bodies, all crushing her far too closely for her liking. Hmm...by now she was bored...and slightly tired of the heels that were crushing her ankles into a pulp. Not that this wasn't a great party, but the young actress's socializing skills were off tonight. Her horoscope so predicted this. She wouldn't be the sparkliest girl in the room. She'd handle it. Stars had low points this was one of her.

Passing the host, she grinned, with all the tooth and cheek she had. "Great party, Reese," she stated confidently, giving her a small thumbs-up before wandering over to the drink table. Punch. Ick. It wasn't chai tea. Frowning slightly, Lola stepped back, resting against the wall, the bright dance floor lights artfully illuminating the yellow silk of her top.

Chris went to food table with her. "Yeah thanks." He said taking a bottle of water. He saw Jamie and Jason dancing. "Good Jason found Jamie." Chris said.

"Thanks,Lola,"Reese said."And if you don't like the punch,there's different kinds of drinks in the kitchen.I think there's tea,butterbeer,and bottled water."She smiled.

Melinda smiled as she saw Jamie. "I got also worried...but Jason had to understand she was just busy..." She told Chris.

Lola looked up, the classic doe-eyed 1940's gaze. Slightly shocked and disoriented. It's as if Reese reads minds. "Thanks..." she trailed off, partly in bewilderment and partly in immense gratitude. "I'll check that out." Ok, refreshements: check. Now, to find the most fabulous dance partner in the room. Or one that could keep up with her ten years of dance lessons.

Flicking her hair back, she waved at Reese and strutted off in the direction of the kitchen, suddenly a woman on a mission. The floor beneath her feet even felt different. Like she owned it. It was an indescribable feeling.

Jai giggled at Josh "Dont get heated about it." she smiled at him, she felt bad that he felt bad. "It's okay Josh, I'm over it, maybe my thoughts aren't comming out clear." she shrugged "I know you didn't mean it, our season just never came." she shrugged, that woldn't make sense either, she waved her hand as if waving the statement away "I'm glad that your my friend Josh, I'm comfortable with that, stop worring you make me feel like I missed out on something major. Which I did, somewhere." she shrugged "Lets go get that cheesecake."

She tugged on him "Maybe then you wont act like the world has collapsed" she turned to him "You can't fix everything Josh, stuff happens and then you either lern from them or live with extreem guilt." she teased him. "I'm glad that we can still look each other in the eye, besides ow many girls can say her best guy friend is an amazing kisser." she giggled and pulled him in the kitchen.

"Yeah, I just wish he wouldn't get so worked up over everything." He said.

Reese waved at Lola."Okay,now she had to find Dusty....or Lucas.Either one would work."

Melinda nodded, since she was drinking her bottled water. She stopped and held Chris's hand. "Let's go sit...my feet are getting swollen now..." She said, giggling.

Dustin laughed at Reese as she introduce him. He gave a quick bow not that anyone was really paying attention. He looked around. "Who was that girl?" he asked looking at the girl that had just left from talking to Reese. He smoothed his hair back getting ready to put on his game. It WAS a party after all.

Reese looked at Dustin.Uh-oh."Um.That's Lola,"she said.

Chris held her hand. "Sure." He said smiling at her.
