Jamie grabbed Jasons hand and pulled him to the floor. "Lets dance." She said.

Jai giggled "He can be so..." she wiggled her nose and glanced over her shoulder "Sexy back huh." She grinned "Quite fitting actually." she gave him a wry smile and pulled him onto the dance floor "But for now, can you make with what we've got?" she asked.

Oh and Jai did miss him. She wondered why he broke up with her but she never had the courage to ask, live and let live she told herself, the past couldn't be changed and it was rarely forgotten. She'd never forget. Smiling she took both his hands and tipped so her mouth was close to his ear "Maybe we can get Reese to change it." She said but not too loudly.

He smirked as she told him it was suited."i'll work with what i have." he told her as he took her one hand and put his hand against her waist." maybe...." he told her as he then looked at her." maybe...." he looked around rather shifty like." i could bribe her with cheesecake." he chuckled as he then asked her." so how was your summer?" he asked her." Not to mention...are you enjoying the school..." he chuckled as he knew that was a straight no.

Jai stepped closer and smiled "I don't think se'd fall for it, she's already stuffing her face with the stuff." she glanced around the room, drama seemed to unfold everywhere "It's been eventfull, or not." she giggled and swayed with him "I hate it there. It's horrible!" she groaned "They're trying to make us into proper young ladies." she rolled her eyes "Its horrible, we had to learn proper table ettiquet instead of Defense once."

"I'm really sorry, Josh," Anna replied. She actually was really sorry things hadn't gone so well with Josh tonight. He was a really good friend and was honestly just trying to make Anna feel better. She really did want to hang out with him, too. He was a pretty cool guy. Anna just had a ton going on with Cale right now, and the drama made it to where it was hard for Anna to focus on too much else.

Anna attempted a smile at Josh and then watched him walk away. He walked all the way to a far corner of the room, far away from Anna and all the drama. She didn't blame him. If she'd been standing somewhere watching a ton of drama unfold, she'd probably make a quick escape, too.


"I'm not really crying, Cale, I'm just kind of emotional right now," Anna explained. "There are things that just happened that I had convinced himself never would. I'm just sitting here thinking that maybe, just maybe, I'm sitting here actually asleep and dreaming and in a few minutes I'm going to wake up and be miserable all over again. It's emotional for something to happen that you just thought never would. Besides, it was a happy tear, anyway."

Anna listened to Cale explain how he finally figured out he liked her for more than just a friend. "I had a...sort of...similar experience. Remember back at Diagon Alley when my silly mother let it sleep that I'd told her you were cute? It was really true, you know. I went into the ice cream store after I met you for the first time and told her point blank that Emma Cobblesten had a really cute cousin. I didn't think she'd announce to all of Diagon Alley." Anna laughed a little at the memory. She'd been mortified when her mom first let that slip.

"Anyway, I heard rumors that day that you'd gotten together with Cora, and I was honestly happy for you. I was glad to hear that you being accepted and were making friends. I didn't have a crush on you by the time the Hogwarts Express picked us up, but I did wish that I would have beaten Cora to the place of your girl. I honestly think that's why we fought so much on the train. I think it kind of grew from there. I hope I don't sound like some jealous brat, because I was always happy for you and Cora. I just always wished deep down that it would have been all that time," she continued.

Anna winced a little as Cale said he would always have feelings for her. It kind of made her feel like she'd always have to watch for Cora if Anna and Cale ever got really serious. She really did feel sorry for both Cale and Cora, though. Anna had never been in a real relationship, and the first boy she ever really had this many feelings for was sitting right next to her, but she imagined that break-ups were really hard. After all, her real mom and dad had divorced right after Anna's first year at Hogwarts, and that situation wasn't fun AT ALL.

"I understand, Cale. Really, I do," Anna promised. "I'm sorry this has to be so tough on everyone involved. It would have been so much easier had I really I felt this way about you at Diagon Alley," Anna said, laughing a little.

Dusty had gotten invited to - what was this? a party- a party at Reese's house, so naturally he was going to go. He showed up, obviously late, but he still showed. He had no idea where everyone was and he doubted he would know anyone, but he still came. That's right, he came. But sadly, Phineas had not been invited. Dusty didn't want to have to look after his frolicking ferret while he was enjoying the party.

As he approached the door, he, of course, was in his own little dream world, causing him to trip on his shoelace and fall into a bush with an 'umph'. "Crap," he mumbled as he began to get up, which was not an easy task. Really, he didn't care if someone saw him fall in that bush. He was already laughing quietly to himself for being so careless. He just didn't know he could be that clumsy.

Oh right. He was here for a party. Not to go falling into a bush. Silly boy.

"Doesnt sound like a bad idea...we both like candy." he told her with a smile."Eventful...Thats for sure." he said to her as he smiled. he listened to jai as she mentioned being a lady. he busted into laughter as he thought about jai being a proper lady. she would be better at it than rhiannon or agie." Sounds..." okay so what would he say to that." Fantastic." he teased as he added," sounds horrible... i hope it gets better." he told her as he then assured her." im sure it will get better...they cant keep us locked up forever..."at least he hoped not.

Reese was walking past a window when she saw a pair of feet sticking out of a bush.Um.Did we order a clown?She put her glass of water down on the nearest table and went outside.She walked over to the bush."Um.Do you need some help,D-"She stopped.It was Dusty.He actually came."Dusty."

"Does it look--ow--like I need help?" Dusty asked sarcastically as he came tumbling out of the bush and landed at Reese's feet. "You really need to learn how to control your plants." He glared at the bush that had totally attacked him--yes he was sticking to that--and kicked it lightly. "Anyway," he totally changed the subject, "I had a hell of a time finding this place. Maybe it's just me though," he said thoughtfully. He stood up and began brushing himself off from the twigs and grass that had clamped onto his clothes, along with a few sticks that had gotten caught in his curly hair.

"Learn how to control my plants?That's the most...nevermind.Not going to finish that.So,you had trouble finding my house.I'm the only house with a blue mailbox,"Reese said."How much easier can that get?"She smiled and looked down at him."And,yes,it does look like you need help.A LOT of help."

Jai nodded in agreement, they did like candy. "Yeah eventfull as in I finally got my moped." she smiled. Whatever Josh, she stuck her tongue out "What you don't think I could be a lady?" she asked raising a playful eyebrow "It won't get better and I think they could keep us under their annoying little claws for quite a while." she sighed.

Jai was so not going to sulk, she got on better -lie- without the boys. She had a ton of girl friends -lie- to talk to. She gave him a hopefull smile and held his hand a bit tighter. "How's Lyra?" she asked. She never did see the girl at school.

"Don't question my methods Reese. Don't even try," Dusty chuckled. That was true. No one even attempted to figure out what went on in that boy's head and she shouldn't be the first one to try. "Blue mailbox? Oh...that must have...slipped my mind," he said sheepishly as he pulled another twig out of his hair. "I didn't even notice the mailbox. I just tried a ton of houses and this was the last one so I assumed it had to be right." He shrugged, brushing the last bit of grass off his knees, finally standing at his full height. "Much better. I like to be taller than you." He patted her on the head. "I do not need help! See! I got out of the bush all by myself!" That was definitely an accomplishment. Usually Phineas warned him about running into things, but he wasn't here. Dusty had to fend for himself.

"Where's everyone else? Isn't this a party?" he asked, looking around. Either there was no one here because they were all ridiculously late, or he and Reese were just secluded from them. He guessed it had to be the second one, but stranger things have happened.

"I don't think I want to question your methods.I figured out staying out of boys's heads is much better than knowing what's going on inside,"Reese said.She smiled and watched Dusty take the twigs out of his hair."I see you got out of the bush by yourself.Good boy.Yes,this is a party.Everybody is inside.Come on."She started towards the front door.

"no actually i was thinking what a awesome one you would make. Of course i know you would be pretending to enjoy it, but you would do it well. You wouldnt enjoy it, but like i pointed out.. you would do it well." he was sure of it. " yeah... i miss my friends too." only a few of them. In his mind.. you could let a few girls over, but leave the rest over there. He didnt need a million of them running and tripping all over everyone. he looked shrugged as he told her." wouldnt know. We dont talk anymore..were not really friends. Which means she isnt my girlfriend anymore." the whole thing made him shiver. he didnt really like to talk about the huffle." so how are you and alex..are you two still together.." he was bad with this dating stuff.

"Let's keep it that way," Dusty said darkly with a grin. There was no way he could ever be mean to little Reese. Yes, she was little. She was younger than him which classified her as little. "Why thank you. I can do other things by myself too ya know," he chuckled as he nudged her playfully. Ah, inside. That made sense. "Brilliant." He followed her inside, taking note of how nice her house was. "Cool," he muttered.

Most of the people there he didn't know. He recognized Anna and Cale, but they were too caught up in a conversation to even notice him. Wasn't that the Josh kid his sister talked about once before? Perhaps it was. He shrugged to himself and continued to follow Reese.

"I'm sorry I thought you two really liked each other and-" she stopped "There's a girl out there for you Josh Moonson, and who knows she might be right under yuor nose without you realizing it." she gave him a smile. "Alex? I haven't seen him in a while, I'm not sure what we are, maybe we broke up without me knowing." she frowned "I think we're still together." she mubbled the last bit. She really wasn't sure about her and Alex.

"Little?"She turned to look at Dusty and smiled."I'm not that little.Anyhow..."She walked into the living room."Um.Yep.This is the party.We usually have loud music,but for some reason it's slow...and clam right now."She looked back at Dusty."I just noticed.Where's Phineas at?"

"You're littler than me," Dustin pointed out with a cheeky grin. Calm music? Didn't anyone wanna shake their groove thang? Apparently they were more into swaying with each other, which he never really understood. They're merely standing there moving back and forth. It baffled the poor boy, but then again, he was used to seeing his sister who was a Latin ballroom dancer. Sorry to break it to you Dust, but that's a totally different concept. Sorry.

Phineas.

"He's with my friend Rocco. Rocco just got a new ferret so they're getting acquainted. And I wasn't sure how keen everyone would be on having a ferret at a party. He can be quite the party animal, but I don't think the world is ready for that just yet," he said, acting as if what he was saying sounded completely normal.

"Party animal?Very interesting,"Reese said.okay.Enough slow music."I got to go change the music.I'll be back in a minute."She walked off and went to the DJ stand.Come on.Need something fast.She played around for a minute and finally found a good song.Yes.



She smiled and jumped off the stand.She walked back over to Dusty."Much better,but Josh and Jai or going to kill me for changing it."

he chuckled a little as he told her," made two of us." he shrugged as he told her." i should of known better. She was a huffle." he said as he then heard her next statement about him finding a girl and right under his nose. he couldnt help but think she was trying to hint something to him but that road had gone and passed.he nodded at her as he agreed." i know." he listened to her as she talked about alex and how she didnt know if they were still together or not. he moved to kiss her head as he cared very much for jai." Im sure he hasnt broken up with you. He would be a fool to do that.." he just wished he would show up for jai." You deserve someone awesome jai...i hope you find him one day." he told her as he then moved to hug her. Jai was on one of an kind. that was for sure. he turned his head to look over at reece and give her a wink. Nah he wasnt going to kill anyone. it was her party. she could play whatever she wanted. it was her night.

"Okay," Dusty said with a nod. He moved to sit on one of the couches in the room and leaned back on it, sinking deeply into the cushions. Very comfy, very comfy indeed. Oh yes, he knew this song. He chuckled, thinking of a fond memory of when he and Rocco had discovered this song. What a crazy night that had been.

"They will? They seem pretty involved in their conversation," he noticed. Maybe he was wrong. He didn't know. Oh well. "They'll get over it...maybe." He blinked and looked back at Reese. "Anywho, anything exciting happen before I came?"

"Did anything exciting happen?Um.I don't think so,"Reese said."Just Drama.That's about it."

Dustin headed to the Northway cottage knowing there was a party inside. HE smiled ready to pump it up. He knocked once on the door.

"Drama? That's always exciting," Dusty nodded. He wasn't one much for the drama, but he had heard of sister being involved in a lot. Oh right. Because of him. Guess I was part of some drama after all, he thought as he chuckled lightly to himself.

He took another look around the room at all of the people. He was definitely right. He barely knew any of them. Good chance to meet new people, no? Definitely. That was always good.

"Yes,it's sooooo exciting watching people yell at each other,"Reese said."If you want anything to drink,there's food and drinks in the kitchen.Which is right across the room."

Reese heard somebody knock on the door."Um.Dusty I'll be right back."She got up from the couch and went to the front door.She opened the door and smiled when she saw Dustin."Hey."
