There have always been many things and many people that protect the Wizarding World against thing evils that threaten it. There are the aurors at the Ministry, the demeantors of Azkaban, and even the Defense Against the Dark Arts professors of Hogwarts and other schools like it. For a long time this has all been enough to protect everyone, but that is no longer the case.
In the past only harmful people have ever threatened the Wizarding World. Now things seem to be happening that people can't explain. Supernatural forces are now harming the wizarding world. These supernatural forces are better known as Demons.
The Minister of Magic has now decided that they need help from another Race of people that are experts in defending against demons. That race is called the Nephilim, or better known as Shadow Hunters. Long, long ago, the blood of an angel was mixed with the blood of man to create this race of protectors. They all have been trained from a young age to have great strength, speed, and strategy to protect the world against demons.
The Minister has decided that young witches and wizards should be training with the shadow hunters. Both Races can work together using both their physical strengths and their magic. The Best witches and wizards from all of the magical school will be sent to the London Institute to live and work the the shadow hunters. Will friendships and relationships form or be torn apart? You Decide.
Okay so this is an RP that I tried to get going a while back and am starting again. It combines both the worlds of Harry Potter and the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. You can be a witch/wizard or a shadow hunter. All Characters are madeups. If you want to play the decendents of certain characters thats fine but there shouldn't be any Harry Potters, Jace Wayland/Herondale/Lightwoods, or Clary Frays.
Also if you would like to play a downworlder (vampire, warlock, fairie, or werewolf) that is all good I just ask that you are also a shadowhunter or a wizard because the other races won't be in the RP the whole time.
Just let me know if there are any relationships that are going to form are already have Enjoy!
DOB: February 24
POB: St. Petersburg, Russia
Blood: Pure
Build: Slim (110 lbs)
Height: 5'5"
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Background:
Lissa was born and raised in Russia. Her father is Russian and her mother is English. She speaks both languages fluently and only has a hint of an accent. While she takes pride in her heritage, she loves spending the year in England.
Lissa always excelled in school. She was very smart and one of the professor's favorites. She was chosen to be Gryffindor Prefect during her fifth year and then Head Girl her seventh year. While she does take pride in her books and studies, she is not the most athletic of students. For this reason she is worried about being chosen to train with the shadow hunters. She knows that she has the brains and the skills with magic to go far, but the physical part, well she's a bit fragile.
Lissa has never had any problem making friends. She doesn't really get angry often, but when she does she gets very angry. It takes a lot to push her over the edge. One thing that does it quite easily is someone with a large ego. There is never any reason for anyone to show off, about anything. She definitely prefers humble people.
SPOILER!!: Adam Herondale
Adam Michael Herondale
Nicknames: none
Age: 17
Race: Nephilim
DOB: January 11
POB: New York City, New York
Build: Athletic
Height: 6'3"
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue
Background:
Adam was born into a very prestegious Shadow Hunter family. The Herondale's were considered to be one of the twelve very powerful families making up the clave.
Adam is fits perfectly into the mold of Herondale boys. From those that knew his grandfather, Jace, they all say that the two are just alike. Adam never got to meet his grandfather, which some say is a blessing and some say is a shame. One warlock inparticular has also said that he is just like his great great great ect... grandfather, Will. Adam personally doesn't like to be compared to anyone, he thinks of himself as an origional.
Adam is an extremely good Shadow Hunter. He is said to be the best for his age, and better than a lot that are older than him. He has been training since he was a small child and has killed thousands of demons. This all being said, his accomplishments definitely go to his head. He is the best and he knows it. He is also going to make sure that you and everyone around you know it as well. He is known to have a scarcastic sense of humor and well lets face it, most consider him to be a pain. There are times when he gets serious however, and that is when it comes to his sister. He looks out for her and is a very good big brother. True, they drive each other crazy, but he loves her very much. When it comes to everyone else, Adam puts up a lot of walls. He hides behind his ego so that none see whats inside.
SPOILER!!: Faye Herondale
Faye Madeline Herondale
Nicknames: none
Age: 16
Race: Nephilim
DOB: November 19
POB: New York City, New York
Build: Slim/Athletic (125 lbs)
Height: 5'7"
Hair: Black
Eyes: Hazel
Background:
Faye was born into the same family as Adam. She was born just shy of a year after him. He likes to remind her quite often that he is her older brother in which she shoots back, not by much. She has the same scarcastic sence of humor as her brother as well as a very firery attitude.
Faye is also a very good Shadow Hunter. She is the best among the girls, and not too far behind Adam. She likes to think that the only reason that she is not better than him is because he trained her. Although, she does hope to surpass the teacher. When fighting demons Faye carries with her, along with her stele, a whip that was passed down to her by her grandparents friend Izabel Lightwood. Yes it has age to it, but it still works as if brand new.
Faye does not put up walls like her brother does. What you see is what you get. She can be a bit arrogant and does have an attitude most of the time but hey thats all part of her charm.

Freyja laughed, not at Romero but because what he was saying was so typical of him. "Ro, you know I'm fine. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't push myself to the limit every morning. But thank you for your concern. Do I really have circles under my eyes?" She touched the skin under her right eye, which was indeed dark purple. "I guess that's what concealer is for, right?" She glanced at the others, at Edith with her book, Faye dressed in black (would it kill that girl to add a bit of colour already?) and then Adam. She looked away quickly from him.
"So," she said, trying to move the conversation away from her overly difficult training schedule. "What about this thing with the new trainees? Do you honestly believe they're magical or whatever?" She was talking to the room as a whole.
”Really? Laugh at me!!. I was only trying to help. If you wanna work yourself to a crazy extent and give up natural beauty and reason then go right ahead. As for the new students, we are all half angel and have extroidinary ability. There could very well be other forms of magic out there for all we know”.

Holly entered the room silently, with a silent nod before seating herself on one of the couches. She'd been training all morning, which explained why she had her quiver slung across her back with her bow inside.
Her right arm was starting to have a dull throb from holding the bow for far too long, but she simply ignored it as she pulled out The Art of War by Sun Tzu out. She was that bored, bored enough to read the book for what would have been the seventh time.
She wasn't being cold, it was just that she didn't want to disturb the calm or jump into anyone else's conversations. So, she'd just sit there with her book unless someone said hi first.

Romero noticed Holly sneaking on in to the common room. Honestly, the girl was always so shy. Romero walked up to Holly and said, ”Hey girlie, how are you today?”.
Romero woke up in his dorm at the London institute a little late as usual. He in his vest whichshowed his chest and his skinny black dkny Jeans. For a demon, anyone would find him odd. But he had proven himself to be a great shadow hunter. Still he does not care for that sort recognition. He wants acceptance for he is but he barely ever finds it. Nevertheless today was a new day and he chooses tk be his happy go lucky self. He knew that soon wizards were gonna be coming, everyone told him to try not to be too much himself. Yeah Right!!!. He put on his fake eyebrows on and strutted out his room into the hall where he saw Adam and he looked upset. He approuched him and asked, ”Are you alright”.
Yagami recieved her letter about training along side shadow hunters and danced a crazy little dance of joy. The school geek had made it into the most exclusive institute in the world that had just opened their doors to her kind and today was the day for departure. She was beaming as she skipped the great hall. There she saw Lissa, the girl who beat her out by a hair for head girl. She glared at her, she was smart but Yagi was hoping to get away from Lissa. This was just peachy. She took a seat away from Lissa knowing she may do some thing that she would regret if she had not.

He had spent the last seven years of his life running around these grounds and this morning they seemed different somehow. It wasn't just that they were deserted, it was the feel of the place that had changed. Completing his final circuit Wayde checked his watch and sighed. Turning on the spot he apparated into his common room. He jumped into the shower and then threw on his clothes. Grabbing his bag Wayde made his way down into the Great Hall where Lissa was already waiting on them. He smiled at her. "Morning Lissa."
Beep! Beep! Beep! Aidan reached over and slapped his alarm clock into submission. Grumbling he rolled over and read the time clock. "Merlin's Beard!" Jumping out of bed the Hufflepuff, wait....no. Graduated HufflePuff! He paused smiling but then went right back to throwing clothes on. Grabbing his bag he tore through the hallways and skidded into the Great Hall. "I'm here!"
Edith closed the book she was reading and placed it on the pile at her feet. There were still two books on the table that she had yet to read. A glance at the clock on the wall told her that it was time she got herself into the parlor. Grabbing one of the books that was left she tucked it under her arm and walked out of the library.
Sleep had been hard to come by so instead of tossing and turning she had decided to go and read. She had gone through several combat books that weren't available in the New York Institute where she had been training until a couple of days ago. The title she held was another technique that can be used with a bow. Since that was usually her weapon of choice she was going to soak up everything in the book.
Edith glanced down at her attire and shrugged. She had thrown on her favorite pair of jeans which were dark washed and really comfortable. The Institute here seemed to be kept incredibly cold all the time so she had put on a thermal long sleeve shirt with holes for her thumbs and her black Toms completed her homey ensemble. Edith wasn't worried about making an impression with her clothes.
Most people took one look at her slight size and then wrote her off. What they failed to see was the tightly packed muscles she carried on her slight frame and the look of fire in her eyes. She may be small but she was not to be messed with. Edith pushed through the door and into the parlor not at all surprised that the siblings were here. She gave them both a smile. "Morning."

Yagi noticed another person arrive, Wayde, and he chose to sit by Lissa, typical and he was always a smarg Guy. It was no suprise for her to see him here. But then she saw a boy come bumbling in that she knew well to be a clutz and an idiot. How was this possible. No, no, it was bad enough that Lissa is going, now Aiden too, ick. She got up and called, ”WHAT ON EARTH IS HE DOING HERE”, Yagi screamed incredulously pointing at Aiden.

"I'm good. You?"
Aidan looked around and thanked Merlin that he wasn't too late. He grinned at Wayde and Lissa taking a seat across the table from them. He wasn't sure yet how they would be traveling so he decided not to ask about food. Apparition wasn't quite kosher with a full stomach at least for him it wasn't.
At that moment he looked up and Yagi walked into the room. He of course had no idea how many of them or who exactly was coming along on this endeavor so he took her appearance in stride. She however blew up complete when she saw him. He grinned at her and shrugged. Yeah he wasn't the best guy in the world but there were worse.

"I'm exhausted!" she said, collapsing into the sofa, her legs over one of the arms. "Dad had me running laps again, he told me my endurance is incredibly lacking." She privately thought this was unfair, since she could run further than any of the rest. Maybe Freyja wasn't the fastest, but she could go on longer. "My father is insane," she grumbled, playing with the fang amulet around her neck. "Completely insane. Like me!" She grinned at the others. "So, how was your respective mornings?"

Lissa looked up as Yagami came into the room. She could tell instantly that the girl was upset that Lissa was there. Really though, did she expect her not to be. Lissa had worked hard to get where she was. She was one of the best witches of their generation, of course she was going to be there. But then again Yagami had never liked her. She never knew why but she didn't let it eat at her.
Just then Wayde came into the room. "Nice of you to join us" She said to him with a smile. The two had always gotten along. You really wouldn't have expected them to seeing as how he was a Slytherin but he was a hard working Slytherin who had earned Head Boy. "Are you ready for our big adventure?" She asked him curiously. It wouldn't be too long now before they were ready to go.
That was when she saw Aiden bursting through the door. She couldn't help but laugh at the scene that he had made when he entered. She quickly put a check beside his name on the list. "Goodmorning Aiden" She to him with a warm smile. Then Lissa watched as Yagami blew up at him. She shook her head, somethings just never change.
Adam didn't look up as the door opened. He had never seen the point in being one of those people that greated everyone who came into a room. Sure they all needed to be blessed with his presence but he didn't really feel like being warm and welcome. That just wasn't who he was. He did look up though as Romeo. "Well that depends on your definition of alright. Yes, I'm alright. I haven't been eaten by a demon. Or no I'm not alright because I'm cooped up in this cold place waiting for 'magic people' instead of being out fighting demons." He said with a tilt of his head. "Alright really is a funny word isn't it" He said with a forced laugh.
Faye rolled her eyes as Adam spoke to Romeo. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning" She said to her brother. Yes there were times that their personalities were a lot alike but she wasn't a harsh as he was. She turned as the door opened again and Edith walked in. "Oh its just a lovely morning. Aren't we all ready to teach a different race our centuries old techiques" She said scarcastically. She wasn't being rude, just straight forward. Surely none of them were looking forward to his.
Adam watched as Edith walked into the room. He still had yet to get up from his spot in his chair. Why should he? He was quite comfortable. "Goodmorning Beautiful" He said to her with a flirty, yet still cocky grin. "Did you sleep well?" He asked her and then added, "I would assume so seeing as how you dreamt of me" He said with his grin growing wider.
Then there was Freyja. Adam heard her before he saw her. He listened to her complain of her training exercises. He actually held his tongue for once even though many whitty remarks came to mind. When she mentioned being insane he couldn't help but grin. "Ah yes, this world needs a few more that are off their rocker. Not me of course, clearly I am seated perfectly comfortable on mine" Even he knew this not to be true. If any of them were actually discovered to be crazy they would all asume it to be Adam first. Simply because no one was ever able to figure him out.
Faye was watching everyone in the room. SHe hadn't really found a conversation worth joining into just yet. She couldn't help but catch the way that Freyja quicky skimmed over her brother. Hmmm... What could that be about. Surely the poor girl wasn't into him or anything. Well actually she wouldn't be too surprised if she was. Many girls found Adam to be dark and mysterious. She would learn though that he was a just a bad road to go down all together. And then finally she asked a question that Faye was interested in. "Magical? We'll see. All I know is I'm not looking forward to trainging someone who has never done a lick of training in their lives." She said.

"Oh, I had a fine nights sleep, how was you'res", Romero asked sarcastically. He then heard the conversation turn to theing against the new recruits again. "Oh come on. I doubt it will be that bad training the new recruits. I read up on their kind and learned that they take a class called Defence Against The Dark Arts at their school where they learn how to defeat evil creatures. If they know some basics like that I am sure that we can help get them to the next level.".
Edith glanced up from her book and grinned at Adam. He was indeed living up to his reputation as a playboy. She had to admit thougt that he was handsome, the problem was that he knew it. He seemed harmless so far however so she decided to play along.
"Well now if you knew the answer to your question then why did you ask? Though I am disappointed that you didn't wear they outfit you had on in my dreams." She pouted out her lip and then looked thoughtful. "Though that's probably a good thing considering I couldn't keep my hands off of you." She gave him a naughty wink.
Okay so that had been a little more fun then she had expected.
Sometimes Romero wondered when it came to Edith. Her taste in boys was just ick a lot of the time. And now she had an attraction Adam, EWE. Even being gay Romero did not want to hit that. The boy was too cold. Why was it that so many people like bad boys. Romero would never understand. He shook his head and turned away. He had gotten involved in peoples personal lives before and he did not want to go back there.

Now that was just a lot of trouble. Lazily, Drew opened his eyes. Oh Merlin. It was the young man's first day training at the London Institute and he was already quite late. They don't have some kind of "quitting the programme policy", do they?, the boy wondered worriedly as he got dressed in a hurry, almost forgetting to put on is dark emerald blue socks.
One last look at the mirror, two more seconds to fix his natural dirty blonde hair and he was all set and ready to go. Still, he had the feeling he was forgetting something. Oh yes, the quill. That could come in handy. Just in case, he saved it in his pocket, after quickly ripping a piece of parchment to take along. "Accio broomstick!" He was already late; rushing in with a little style wouldn't hurt. Mounting on the broomstick like a well-trained professional, Drew reviewed mentally the few things he had planned for the day. He was a lot more in favor of improvising, but he had the slight feeling some of his new co-workers woudln't feel the same way.
And off he went, rushing into the room just a few minutes later: "Andrew Julian Hanna reporting for duty, people. How is everybody doing in this rather lovely day?" Yeah.... maybe that charming atittude could get him off trouble... Or getting him right into them..

Romero saw a boy come running into the room with a broom. Were the new recruits here already. They were scheduled to come tomorrow. ???? "Um, hi, you must be a new recruit. There is no need to rush. The rest of you're group is scheduled to come in tomorrow by train. But no matter, my you are a hansome one, I am Romero by the way. I can show you to you're room if you like.".

Drew was surprised to see few people around. So, he wasn't late? Well, he was there already anyway. "Nice, nice." he replied, not focused at all. He was too busy analysing the place that would be his home for the next couple of months. Somewhere lost in his mind he was picturing a rather fine, huge, field of Quidditch. That was exactly what he was wondering, either the Institute would have some sort of courtyard where he could practise. They were supposed to. Feeling some sort of joy inside him, Drew knew that was the only place in the entire institute that he was excited to see.
"Hum... What?" It was not polite to be distracted in first conversation like that, but sometimes Drew found himself doing it over and over again. "Like what?" he looked around, trying to find something that the boy could have been referring too and his eyes layed on his broomstick. "Oh, yeah. I love it, really. It's impossible not to love it. I actually played it in Hogwarts. For 5 years in a row." his bright eyes could tell he was speking about it to be bragging himself. Quidditch was the love of his life and Drew Hanna was more than glad to be chatting about it. "Have you ever played quidditch?"

Freyja bit the inside of her cheek, her mind scolding that tiny part of her that still had a crush on Adam. Was she insane?! It was clear that he was a bad road, so to speak, and that she was stupid to even go there, but a couple of years of stupid early teen crush wouldn't go away that easily. So she just went back to her recent defense plan - partly ignoring him, not so much that anyone noticed, but enough so she didn't have to acknowledge anything. It was so much easier that way.
For once, she had to agree with Faye. It wasn't exactly going to be a picnic training the Hogwarts students, since they probably had no idea of what to expect out of Downworlders. Or maybe, as Romero had pointed out, they would be at least basically trained in destroying evil creatures. Freyja just hoped, for their sakes, that they didn't have consciences. Those things could get in the way when you were trying to kill, and giving mercy was simply not an option here.
She raised her eyebrows as a Hogwarts student came into the room, mounted on ... Was that a broomstick?! Freyja watched in amusement as Romero tried to talk to the guy - Andrew, wasn't it? - but he went on about playing something for five years. Finally something interesting caught her attention.
"Quidditch?" she asked, swinging up off the sofa and simply sitting on its arm to get a look at Andrew that wasn't half upside-down. "What's that, some kind of training or something? And why are you holding a cleaning material?" Her tone wasn't really mocking but more curious. She was geniunely interested in this.
Drew was surprised to see few people around. So, he wasn't late? Well, he was there already anyway. "Nice, nice." he replied, not focused at all. ""Uh, yeah, you're broom, it's cool",Romero said trying to sound cool calm and collected. Oh, I almost just, stay calm, stay, all is good.

"Oh, Freya, you have never heard of or read anything about quiddich. It is the most popular sport in the magical world. It always facinated me as a kid because we have no sports here. Just learning to fight and applying it, we may be the best but even with angels wings, doing the same thing for years gets a bit boring!".

Freyja rolled her eyes at Romero's remark about their lives being repetitive and boring. "Yeah, it gets a little old sometimes, but the benefits outweigh that, I think," she said. "Like being able to do this." With a quick shake of her shoulders, she unfurled her wings and jumped, hovering in the air above them. Well, not really hovering since her wings wouldn't let her stay still so she was moving up and down slightly, but close enough. "Now, which is better, I wonder?" she asked, folding her arms and pretending to think. "Flying on a long stick or with your own wings?"

"Romero," she gasped, sitting upright and fixing her quiver's position across her back. "I'm a little tired, but otherwise I'm alright..." Eyeing him skeptically, she cocked her head to one side. "Do you need something, Romero?" she asked. Why else would he talk to her. She wasn't actually a very social person.
Noting the door bursting open, she nodded at the newcomer. Andew something? Standing up, but only because she was intrigued by the broom in his hand, she walked up to him, her auburn braid swinging jauntily as she moved. "Holly Silvertongue," she smiled. "The room is rather clean... May I ask why you are carrying a broom?"
Strange people.

Reason: Important information.
Okay just so all of you know...Shadow Hunters do NOT have wings. They are a race of beings created after a human named Johnathan Shadowhunter asked the Angel Raziel to give him special powers so that he may destroy demons. Raziel gave Johnathan some of his own blood thus making Shadow hunters.
Shadow hunters have quick reflexes, incredible agility, and enormous amounts of strength. Each hunter is given certain marks on their bodies for certain things that show in black ink on their skin. They also have runes that they carve onto their skin using "steles" that give them certain powers.

Those two were somewhat odd, but kinda cool. "Yeah, man. Popular, all over the place. Great explanation!" the young atlethe was thankfull that he could relate to someone already. He was only there five minutes and already had someone who to talk.Apparently training was an awesome way to meet new friends.
Drew eyed the strange girl and approached her, handing his hand out, even though the girl was sort of flying. not his finest moment, but he was aiming for politeness. "I'm Drew. Nice to meet you. I had never met someone who was unfamiliarized with Quidditc. Oh. And by the way a broomstick is not ain't no cleaning material, ma'am ". Every now and them, the american in him decided to make his appearance, turning his accent into an exotic mixture that Drew himself didn't find unpleasant.

Strange people.
What was it with those people and the broom? "It's not for cleaning!" he replied immediately. "Drew." he thought it would be nice to re-introduce himself. Truth be told, he was quite amazed at the girl's quiet beauty as she had walked up to him. That was also why he bent down in a bow and picked the girl's delicate hand to kiss her there, never letting go of the love of his life... The precious broomstick. "This beauty is my partner out there on the field. She helps me and the pushes me to my boundaries in order to break records and get some more wins to the team. It is quite something, isn't it?" Okay, maybe he did sound a little out of his element in a room where people use brooms to clean.

Romero feltso excited to be in the presence of a quiddich player with an actual flying broom, soooo cooool. "Yeah, the broom is amazing. I have always wanted to learn how to fly on a broom but I have not really had that option here.".

Holly nodded, smiling apologetically. "Nice to meet you, Drew," she said, meeting his eyes that seemed to change color in the light. Looking at him quizzically as he bent into a bow and picked up her hand, she contemplated pulling it away. And that was when he kissed it. Flushing a light pink, she gently pulled her hand out of his. Despite it looking delicate, most of them now knew that it was anything but.
Smiling, she eyed the broom a little skeptically. Now that he mentioned, she did notice something that seemed like a foothold and a handle. "I suppose," she nodded. "Training for long distance combat," she mused. "But I doubt it'd be efficient for hand-to-hand combat."
No, they'd have to teach the 'wizards' how to fight.

As soon as she heard Drew's American accent creep into his voice, Freyja's natural mischievousness came out. She stayed silent while he flirted with Holly - aww, they'd be so cute together! Then maybe Holly would get her nose out of a book once in a while. "빗자루는 청소하는 데 사용됩니다!" she said in Korean. Broom is used to clean! She doubted very much that Drew would be able to understand her. She decided to mess with him more. "Nid ysgubau yn gyfforddus," she continued, this time in Welsh. Brooms are not comfortable. "Come si fa a giocare a Quidditch?" Italian for How do you play at Quidditch? She glared at him as though expecting him to understand, then turned to Romero. "Traduire pour moi?" she asked in French. Translate for me? She hoped Romero would understand her, although Freyja always had a rather unnatural flair for languages.
OOC: All the translations were made using Google Translate. Look them up yourself if you think I wasn't typing what I said I was.

Seriously, this is how Freyja chooses to treat this situation. Uh no, she is not dragging me into her crazy. He turned to Freyja and said, "You are not gonna drag me into you're crazy. You are perfectly capable of speaking English. Besides, what have you ever done for me?".

Holly glanced at Freja, a little shocked at the fact that she could switch from language to language so quickly. Giggling a bit, she shook her head in disbelief. "Bùyào qīfù tā, kěyǐ ma?" she asked, shaking her head. [你能不能欺負他嗎?:Mandarin for 'Can you not pick on him?'] She remembered the times when she would train under her mother, but those times were long gone. Her life in China was long gone.
Turning back to Drew, she cocked her head in apology. "Don't take it too seriously. She didn't say anything particularly mean." she smiled sheepishly. "And they take a while of getting used to." She sure remembered the time she first got there, speaking fluent Mandarin with little knowledge of other languages. It had taken a lot of practice and sparring with Freja to figure out how to speak English, and Freja'd taught her how to use the bow and arrow.

It had taken a lot of practice and sparring with Freja and Romero to figure out half of what Freja said most of the time.
Romero then heard Holly and glared at her, "Thanks Holly", Romero said sarcastically and then turned to Drew, "Heres the low down,I don't like Freyja much, she is nothing but mean to me and I don't do anything wrong to her. For some reason she also always expects me to be her translatoreven though she can speak English if she wants. I have known her my life and to this day I don't her.".
Wayde flew low and landed on the steps of what looked like a giant church. His navigation couldn't be wrong so this was where they were supposed to be. Looking behind him he watched as the other three came to a landing behind him. Andrew had gotten antzy mid-flight and took off on his own. Wayde had called after him but the guy hadn't slowed down.
Sighing, he marched up the steps and banged on the door. He hoped Drew had made it okay.
Aidan watched as Wayde knocked on the doors of an enormous church. This is where they were going?! Aidan couldn't help the feeling of apprehension that jolted through his system as they waited. He hadn't been told a whole lot about what was going on, only that they were on special assignment from the Ministry. Taking a few calming breaths he managed to get his jitters under control. For the moment anyway.
Edith turned the page of her book and listened to the by-play of some of her fellow shadow hunters. Adam had yet to rise to her bait and Faye was being uncharacteristically silent. She couldn't help but smile though over Freya's teasing. It was part of their training to be fluent in lots of languages so there was no harm in having a little fun with people now and again. At least in her opinion.
Just then a knocking sounded heralded the arrival of the other guests, at least that's what she was guessing anyway. Carefully marking her page Edith set the book down and rose to her feet stretching to her full height.
"Я получите двери." I'll get the door in Russian. As she sauntered out of the parlor Edith shot Freya a wink. Silently she went down the hall and to the main doors, with little effort she pushed them open and smile at the four people standing there.
The time came to head onover to theassignment at theLondon Institute. She followed the rest via her broom and arrived at the institute where the front door should have been. She walked inside and saw Drew, from the wood chippings coating him she knew who it was. SHe approached Drew and asked, "Do you always have to be that thick?".
Wayde smiled at the tall, willowy girl that opened the door and welcomed them in. She looked like normal girl if you looked past the hard layer of muscle covering her body and the black Marks that could be seen on her arms. They seemed to disappear beneath her cloths and he wondered how much of her was covered with them and what they meant.
She lead them into the room where several others of her kind were congregating. She moved like a cat, silent and smooth. Her steps made no sound even on the wood floors and every move was measured and easy. He had to marvel at that though he gave a shiver of fear. Here was a warrior that was no doubt deadly and lethal.
Wayde looked around the room and had the slight impression of walking into a lions den. Every one of them had an essence of danger and watchfullness about them. What had the Ministry gotten us into?!
Yagami's voice jogged him from his observations and he frowned. He walked over to her and whispered in her ear, "Ease up there. We are guests in this house and don't want to get into any trouble, including amoung ourselves."
