I came up with this idea and I hope people join in. Basically what it is is mainly made ups, although people might want to double up as Harry, Ron, Hermione and co later.

The RP opens in their fourth year (so everyone who's in the same year is 14/15) at Durmstrang Academny. This RP runs as GoF through Durmstrang students eyes. Later on in the RP, those playing Durmstrang students will be going to Hogwarts for the Tournament and so it goes from there.

We can have a different outcome for GoF or the same, we could have the same Durmstrang champion, or we can have a different one. It's really up to you lot. If someone wants to play Krum, they can, but it isn't essential to the RP. Preferably made-ups please.

I will be playing as Voldemort's daughter, Marcella, who in my scheme of things, spends her time at Durmstrang from years 1 to 4 and then when Dumbledore is reminded of her in GoF, he decides to move her. But that is not relevant for this.

So all who want to join please express an interest and we'll go from there. Advanced RPers only, post minimum is one paragraphs preferably no shorter the 5/6 lines.

She said 11 days and that started on Friday so... probably by next Tuesday she'll be back online.

Description: Katherine has a dancer's figure (thin and fluid) and fair skin. She typically mixes vintage clothes from thrift stores with modern pieces for a sofisticated and classy, artsy-rocker look. She loves denim and leather, black and hot pink, but tends to mix them with pastels, angora, and lace.

Personality: Katherine can be considered a walking paradox. She is often thought to be at least 2 years older than she is through the way she holds herself and speaks. Unlike most of the mature set however she is not at all self-consious and loves childish pastimes suchs as dancing in the rain and skipping anywhere. A mature intellectual, she is a poetic philosopher but also a hopeless romantic. She hopes one day to be an actress and is determined enough to get there. Bio: Katherine is not technically part of the contest, rather a student chosen to act as an "ambassador for the students moving on to Hogwarts. A referee of sorts.

Right, I am starting this RP now. When RPing please be sure of who is online, as you can't talk to a character who isn't there. Don't RP other people's characters. Please be sure to type in more than 5 lines at any time, if possible.

I'm sure you know all this, just performing a technicality.

Waving goodbye to Mrs Merryfeather, the middleaged woman who minded her at St. Auburns Orphanage, she boarded the huge vast ship, that carried Durmstrang students from the coast up to Durmstrang, which was situated in an unplottable area.

Dragging her trunk up the ramp, she caught her miniature barn owl on her shoulder, climbing upward, scanning the deck briefly for a familiar face. She saw none. Sighing, she turned and waved to the woman once more whilst Minelli, the owl, perched on the railing and pecked at the wood that the ship were made from.

Watching the woman leave, she screwed up her face and scolded the owl before placing her back into her cage. Disgruntled, the bird attempted to snip at Marcella's fingers with her beak. Fortunately, she moved her fingers from the bird in good timing and the owl missed her.

Smiling, she turned and look whistfully out to the horizon, thinking about all that Durmstrang had brought her so far and what it might bring her this time round, her fourth year at the academy. She was sure it was set to be just as eventful as the last.

Shane shook his fathers hand and gave his mother a hug. He started towards the huge ship without looking back. The more you looked back, the harder it was to leave. The holidays had been good and he wasn’t really looking forward to returning to Durmstrang. He heaved his trunk up the ramp. Once up the ramp he set his truck down and looked around. There weren’t a lot of people on board seeing as it was still pretty early. Sure the ship was impressive but what Shane really liked was watching the sun sparkle and reflect the water. He peered over the boat mesmerized at how the light caught the water in mid wave. A light breeze ruffled his hair and despite his feelings of having to go back to Durmstrang he couldn’t help but smile. After all, half the fun is getting there.

Anna peeled herself from her strongly Bulgarian grandmother who had come to drop her off at the ship that would take them to Durmstrang. She kissed Anna on her cheek and with a hint of a tear, let go. "Dovizhdane!" She said cheerfully, waving to her grandmother, saying goodbye, as she boarded the ship. She only spoke Bulgarian, and Anna was looking forward to a whole year of speaking English with her friends. Her parents had shipped her off to her grandmother for the summer, no doubt wanting to get her out of their hair for awhile.

As she walked onto the top deck, she went over to the side and leeaned over it, looking at the dark water and breathing in the air, happy to be away from the cramped, musty cabin that was her grandmother's house.

She saw a dark haired girl looking out over the water and recognized her as Marcella Riddle, a girl who she had known as a Phoenix and she had sat next to in Potions last year. They had gotten to know each other pretty well over the past four years, and had become friends. Not best friends like everyone seemed to have, but friends. She made a mental note to go talk to her later and took in as much scenery as she could through all of the bustling students and tearful mothers.

Jared stopped for a while before entering the crowded port. He watched other students come towards the ship and their family leave the harbor. He sighed, for he missed his family back at Turkey. Thinking his deceased family always gave him depression and loneliness.

However, there was a thing that would make him fell better. His father’s necklace. It was not one of the ordinary necklaces; it was magical, like an amulet or a talisman. Whenever he use it he would feel better. As he wore it, a hand tapped his shoulder.

Knowing it was his foster father, he looked around and smiled at him warmly. He pushed his cart towards the ramp, waving his hand. Bidding him farewell. Soon as he boarded the ship, he went inside the massive vessel to find an empty quarter for him to rest.

Lance waved farewell to his father, and looked upon the vast ship he was to depart to his school on, Durmstrang. He enjoyed every second of it, and particularly loved his house. Lance had a feeling in his gut that he was forgetting something. He then looked to his dad.

"DAD! DAD! Where's Tristan? TRISTAN!" he yelled, in search for his great horned owl. Tristan slowly fluttered upon Lance and landed quickly on his shoulders. Lance winced in pain as he felt Tristan's talons dig into his skin, but then smiled. Then, he led Tristan to his cage, and spotted a few other students. He ran over to his father, gave him one last hug, and headed off.

Gavin stepped out of the family carriage and looked out over the assemblage toward the ship which would take him back to his home away from home. He was to start his fourth year at Durmstrang Academy this year. What lay in store for them, he wondered as the house elf unloaded his trunk and placed it at his side. Sobek, his silver Egyptian mau took the liberty of jumping from the carriage and perching on Gavin's shoulders. He smiled and stroked his head as the cat wrapped his tail around his neck.

Sighing, Gavin took up his trunk and began making his way up the gangplank and onto the ship. After storing his trunk, he walked back on deck, allowing Sobek to prowl, the graceful cat balancing effortlessly on the railing. He leaned over the railing, staring down at the water for a few minutes before twisting his head and noticing the Riddle girl. What was she up to?

Marce looked up as an attendee of the ship took her lugagge away. Smiling at her best, she dropped a galleon into his palm and bid him good day.

Flicking her hair over her shoulder, she placed a palm on the top of her head. Despite it being normally cold, today was bright and sunny. She despised the way her jet black hair absorbed the rays from the sun so easily. It made her head boil.

Feeling a little awkward, she felt sure she could feel someone's eyes on her. Turning, but only a little, she found it to be Gavin, a kid from Chimaera, a fourth year like herself. Like alot of his kind, he too wondered and pondered as to how she, the daughter of supposed darkness, had wound up in a house such as Phoenix when, by birth, she should have landed in Chimaera.

She herself just wanted to be left alone. She had no such answers and didn't wish to have them either. Marcella was happy where she was, she didn't need to constant reminder of where she came from.

Anna was walking around the ship, dragging her trunk with her, trying to find a friend, or at least someone from her own house when she bumped into someone behind her. She quickly turned around to apologize when she saw it was a boy from Phoenix who she knew by the name Lance. He was a fourth year, so naturally, they had had classes together.

"Sorry about that," She said, quickly picking up her trunk that she had dropped and giving him a polite smile.

Gavin continued to study Riddle even after she had caught him watching her. He smiled at her before finally turning his back to the water, leaning his elbows on the railing and watching the activity on deck. He laughed as Anna bumped into a student from Phoenix. "You'd better watch where you're going, Anna. We don't want you falling overboard, now do we?" he joked, reaching out a hand and stroking Sobek who had wandered back over to him.

Anna grinned as she walked away from the Phoenix boy. "Hi Gavin," She said, watching the elegant cat wind in between his legs. "For some reason I don't think you'd be too traumatized if I fell overboard." She saw him sneak a quick glance at Marcella. She grinned again. "What's this?" She asked, watching him. "Found an interest?"

"I just don't get it. Her father is the greatest dark wizard of our time and she's in Phoenix," he shrugged, turning his back on Riddle so he wouldn't be accused of having any interest in her.

Putting an arm around Anna's shoulders, he waved his finger in front of her nose. "Now, of course I'd be traumatized if you fell overboard. That wouldn't be much fun. I'd much rather push you," he laughed.

Anna ignored the obvious fact that he was interested in Marcella, even if it was just a little. She wriggled out from under his arm and laughed, "Well, if you pushed me, you'd be obligated to save me. And we wouldn't want that. Now see, if I pushed you," She said, steering him over near the side of the boat, "A girl wouldn't be expected to save a boy, so, I could do it without feeling much guilt at all." She smiled. She always liked to have fun, but knew Gavin had it in him to mess around with people too.

"Yes, but, then you'd just end up missing me," he said, reaching down and picking up Sobek. "Besides, you wouldn't throw me overboard with a poor defenceless kitty in my arms, now would you?"

Gavin gave Anna a pathetic face as he took one of Sobek's paws and waved it at her. The cat seemed insulted by being used. He hissed and squirmed free, taking up his perch on Gavin's shoulders.

Anna laughed at how Gavin and the cat looked. She reached up to the cat on Gavin's shoulder and scratched his ears. "I wouldn't harm your gorgeous cat. He's so handsome..." The cat had always been appealing to Anna, always escorting Gavin almost everywhere. It seemed more like a friend than a pet.

"Be careful how much you sweet talk him or he'll start following you around expecting more compliments," Gavin said, his eyes shining.

Sobek gave him a curious look and mewed, as if he knew his master was having a go at him. Gavin turned his head and touched noses with the cat. "You know I'm only joking," he whispered before turning back to Anna.

"So, where do you plan on spending the journey?" he asked and then, looked up. "Now that we're fourth years, we're allowed on the top deck."

Anna's eyes were still on the cat. Like she had previously thought, Gavin and Sobek acted as if they were best friends. Anna found it kind of cute in a weird way. When she heard his question, she looked up, "Oh, I'm not sure..." She hadn't given this much previous thought. "How about you?"

"I'm not sure. I was going to just stay down here if it doesn't start raining. But, I wanted to go find the Quidditch Team. I heard they had an opening for a beater position and thought I'd just let them know I was interested in trying out," Gavin said, walking over to a bench and sitting down, staring out over the water and wondering when the boat would pull away.

"Ooooh, Qudditch. I never knew you were into quidditch. I mean... what wizard isn't? But I never knew you could play." She followed him over to the bench he chose to sit on. However, she stayed standing, preferring the feeling of freedom of being to see everything that was going on.

Gavin looked up at Anna. They had been pretty good friends since meeting on the ship their first year. Anna had bumped into Gavin and he would have been knocked overboard if it hadn't been for Sobek's scream and the quick thinking of Gavin's older brother who was something of a quick draw with his wand. Kent, a seventh year at the time, had actually summoned his younger brother to him in order to prevent him falling into the water. Gavin had been grateful, although his brother made him pay dearly for that favour.

"Well, I've been flying with my brother since I was old enough to control a broom. I'm no Viktor Krum, I don't have the speed, but I'm a pretty good flier," he said, leaning back and folding his arms across his chest.

"Well I guess we'll find out if you're lying or not when you do or don't make the team," Anna said, deciding to give in and sit next to him. She was going nowhere in particular for the trip to school, so why not sit? "If you aren't lying, it sounds like you'll make a great beater. She watched Sobek climb into Gavin's lap and have his ears scratched by his owner. The two of them truly amazed her.

"We'll see," he replied, looking down at Sobek who had curled up in his lap. Gavin absently stroked his cat as he looked back over at Riddle who was still standing at the railing. He narrowed his eyes; in the three years he'd been at Durmstrang, they hadn't spoken at all outside fo class. Gavin couldn't seem to figure her out and he didn't particularly care for conversing with people he couldn't read.
