About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.
First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

I am used to waiting now" he grinned.. afterall he did often wait for her to come back.. but all that waiting just made they spent afterwards better.. so maybe just maybe it could be the same here.. because afterall waiting was waiting there was nothing different about waiting no matter what it was for. "Besides I too was waiting until Christmas to give you yours" he smiled.. he just hoped that he wouldnt ruin this Christmas.. and that was a nerve-wracking thing especially if you had a girlfriend that you loved.
Justin kissed her back sweetly then answered..... " I've got this whole place until mum and I move back to Wellheart Manor.... So, I'll have all of this until then. " he said with a naughty grin before taking her hand and leading her from behind the chair. " I say we explore all of the basement.... I haven't really looked around . I just stored my stuff and have been hanging out upstairs, but if you were to visit me more often then I think I'd spend alot more time down here...." he hinted.

Daniel smiled and nodded, yup waiting he could do with. He heard her tell everyone that they could sit on the couches, he looked at everyone there before he looked back at Leelee upon hearing her question "Well I am thinking its going to be small and just be my parents there at Christmas. Since the rest of my family may be busy visiting their families too, like my cousins I may be at their in-laws that day. So just parents? I hope to find out soon enough and I will let you know" he smiled he really did hope it was going to be small, he didnt think he could handle a house with 15 - 20 people even though Leelee was doing well with her small group of people. But at least they werent going to ask very personal questions upon meeting his girlfriend for the first time, I mean who wants to know those kind of things like their first kiss. Those things are between him, Leelee and his parents, but he knew that his parents wouldnt want to embrrass him in front of her so they may hold off on that, but he couldnt say the same about the others.
Gabby noticed Leelee going out of the room with Maxwell and looked at Edward worried, "Hope she didn't try to scare the poor boy." she handed Edward a piece of cake happy that everyone seem to be enjoying themselves.
Minerva gave Leelee a nasty look, she thought they were getting along better, but maybe not. "Maxwell is everything alright." she whispered in his ear and glared at Edward not believing he let her talk to Maxwell. She then looked over at Vinnie, "Vinnie you need a piece of cake."
" Well, you know, Gabby ? My sister has a way with children that'll make them cry. " he joked. Then he noticed Minerva shooting a nasty look at him. He pointed to himself and mouthed" ME? What'd I do? " Then he turned to Gabby for a moment and whispered, " Excuse me , Love. I just want to talk to Min for a moment." then excused himself and made his way towards Minerva.
" Oh, thankyou dear.... " Vinnie said as she took the plate of cake from Minerva... " So, how are you finding your third year, Minnie? " she asked as she took a modest bite.

"Well.. they are both half and half.. but my mom prefers to live like a muggle, whereas dad doesnt mind using magic in the house. Mom is just afraid of what the neighbours will say if they manage to see things flying around the house. I have told her to move, but she likes where they live. "It wont bother you will it? mom prefering to be like a muggle?" he asked curiously.. he just needed to know where she stood on things like that. Minerva smiled at Vinnie until she asked about Justin. She didn't know how much to tell Vinnie, but decided he could be mad at her she was telling the truth. "Vinnie he didn't try out, when we got to school he hid in his room, wasn't going to classes nor did he try out. I didn't seen him for about a month when he finally showed up outside. I feel he is doing better now, especially with Ariana around. He is out and social as well as going to classes."
Leelee didn't like hearing that, but at least they weren't muggles, "Well I just don't understand what the obsession is about muggles, I don't see why wizards want to be like them. We are different for a reason and we should stay different." She knew that would sound mean to most people, but she didn't care muggles annoyed her and went against everything her family prided in. "I can deal with it and be fine when with your mother, I deal with Minerva and her liking of it." She then headed to the living room.

Justin fell back into another passionate kiss as she laid her lips upon his. His hands going down her back as he pulled her closer still. Letting out a silent sigh as his heart started beating faster and his breathing quickened. He knew at that moment that he had found "her".....

Minerva felt herself getting hot, "I had every right to see that file, you are putting my life in danger doing this stupid stuff. That is my friend that lost her sister, because of you." She didn't get anything else out because she was being taken by the arm up the steps like punished kid. She thought how stupid it was to bring it up during the party. Once let go she got back in his face, "Edward you didn't answer me, Why was Jack's name in that file, are you still trying to find him?? You need to cancel that and get rid of that kidnapper."
Leelee heard the scream and looked at everyone, "I'm sorry, it looks like we have a family issue going on upstairs, be back in just a moment." She got up and headed up the stairs. Why were they in her office she grumbled and opened the door. "What is this about?"
Edward went right back at Minnie. He didn't take too kindly to being bucked up against.... Especially a spoiled little girl...." What we have in those files is none of your bloody business! That is our livelyhood in that file cabinet.... Not for you or anyone else to look at! "

Minerva wasn't afraid of Edward, "It is my business... This is my house, this is my safety, and this could be my job, so it is my business and my boyfriend's father is MY BUSINESS." She glared at both of them.
Leelee sighed, why did Minerva get him involved, "I know she found it, I over heard the conversation that she was having in her room when she was having one of her anxiety attacks. She looked at Minerva "Have you been having those again, I thought you were over them." She knew Edward wouldn't like that she wasn't yelling, but she worked it out in her head way before the party. She turned on Edward now, "That file wouldn't have been in her reach if it was closed as it was suppose to, someone had opened it without my knowledge. Care to explain why it was reopened behind my back? As for Minerva, no she shouldn't have been in here and she shouldn't have been looking at the files, but did she mention she found her own file as well?" Leelee went to the desk and sat down. She was furious, but trying to keep her calm, she wasn't sure what was causing the attacks in Minerva and didn't want to have one flair up in front of her if she could help it.
Minerva wasn't afraid of Edward, "It is my business... This is my house, this is my safety, and this could be my job, so it is my business and my boyfriend's father is MY BUSINESS." She glared at both of them.
Leelee sighed, why did Minerva get him involved, "I know she found it, I over heard the conversation that she was having in her room when she was having one of her anxiety attacks. She looked at Minerva "Have you been having those again, I thought you were over them." She knew Edward wouldn't like that she wasn't yelling, but she worked it out in her head way before the party. She turned on Edward now, "That file wouldn't have been in her reach if it was closed as it was suppose to, someone had opened it without my knowledge. Care to explain why it was reopened behind my back? As for Minerva, no she shouldn't have been in here and she shouldn't have been looking at the files, but did she mention she found her own file as well?" Leelee went to the desk and sat down. " The file was opened again because I was trying to track the kidknapper once we heard what happened to that child, Lee....It didn't sit well with me what happened. So, I took the case on my own accord... No one else's."

Why was he in that file, why were you tracking him??? ANSWER THE FLIPPING QUESTION."

Just then he was being sideswiped by the pint sized child yet again...
" Minerva, What I have written in rthat file is classified..." he said as he turned to face her..."..... And as such you will feel better to know he was simply a note.... A chain family contacts I might be able to use during my investigation....Contacts if you will..."
