Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

As they reached the upstairs landing, they were met with the nice furnishings of the small loft up there (unless I'm wrong...?) and Ferris took a seat on the couch, watching Vianna hesitantly. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on in the girl's mind but he was sure that it wasn't exactly happy, according to her blank expression. "I'm sorry I have to go," he murmured, unsure of what to say, though he wanted to make her feel better. He gently tugged on her hand, indicating that he wanted her next to him.

Vianna sighed as they reached the second floor and gave a small smile as Ferris apologized for having to leave. "It's not your fault, Professor," she told him softly, about to sit down when a loud voice suddenly joined them, causing the girl to jump in surprise.

"Awwww, the kiddies are back! How was the sleepover, had fun?" asked Vince, a teasing grin on his tan face as he walked into the scene, looking cheery and ready to annoy some people as always. He suddenly seemed to turn a little more serious, though. "I know you didn't seriously go to a sleep-over."

At these words, Vianna's eyes widened. "What? Yes we did!" said the girl, beginning to shove the older boy over to the staircase. But before he could speak again, she quickly added, "Mum was looking for you downstairs, you'd better hurry before she throws a fit," she lied, until the boy was finally out of sight and she returned to the couch, sitting down beside Ferris with a sigh. "I just remembered why I wanted to stay in France," she said, referring to how over there they didn't have to deal with her brothers' presence.

Ferris, who was patiently awaiting for Vianna to take a seat at his side, jumped as they were suddenly joined by Vince. He gave a weak attempt at a polite smile which immediately fell as the Vincenzi boy told them that he was aware that they hadn't been at a sleepover. "A-ah..." the boy said, unable to come up with words as he watched Vianna nearly push her brother down the stairs, making up some lie about their mother. Ferris, who was still a little worried about this whole Vince-knowing thing, could only muster a weak chuckle as Vianna told him that she now remembered why she wanted to stay in France. "I know, tell me about it."

Vianna gave the boy at her side a small smile before her gaze fell to the coffee table absentmindedly. "So..." She wasn't sure what to say. There were plenty of things she wanted to say - 'don't go', 'stay with me', etc. But she knew it would be selfish of her to put the boy under that pressure; besides, Mrs. Montgomery couldn't fix up the house on her own, it was too much work. So she tried to look at it a little more optimistically; seven days wasn't too long, right? "After... after that week, I'll be seeing you again at camp? Maybe? If the kidnappers have been captured by then...?" she asked, a little unsure of what the next few days would be like at the moment. She wasn't entirely sure about her parents' opinions yet, after all.

Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna seemed to search for something to say, finally asking if they'd meet again after that week at camp, if the kidnappers had been caught. "Well...that depends," the boy said with a shrug. "I mean...If your parents decide to send you back to camp in a week, I'll meet you there. But if you're still here...I'll be here the second after my week is over," the boy promised with a warm smile. He gently stole her hand once more, intwining their fingers gently.

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris responded, letting her know he'd be back in Italy the second that week was over. She gave him a small, weak smile though it didn't stay there for too long. She just didn't feel like smiling at the moment; which was a bit unusual coming from someone as cheery as Vianna. But there was nothing cheery about not seeing the boy at her side for a whole week. Her gaze fell to their intwined hands absentmindedly as she fell into another moment of silence. "I'll miss you," she muttered to their hands, though she was addressing the boy beside her.

Ferris's warm smile faltered, unable to keep it up knowing the girl at his side couldn't smile in return. He watched as she turned her blue eyes to their hands and admitted that she'd miss him, a small comment that nearly made his heart break on the spot. "Oh, Vi..." he murmured, releasing her hand in order to slip his arms around her waist and pull her onto his lap. "I'm gonna miss you too," he told her softly, resting his chin on her shoulder as he gave a small sigh. He didn't like this. Not at all. Seven days without Vianna. Seven whole days. They'd barely been apart seven hours let alone seven days...

Vianna looked up as Ferris slipped his hand away from her own to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her onto his lap; she listened as he told her he'd miss her too, and the hint of an attempt at a smile came to her lips for a brief second before disappearing again. Her blue-eyed gaze fell to her lap for a moment before turning to the boy resting his chin on her shoulder, the tip of her nose almost brushing his in the process. "I know we were just together last night, but… do you think I could come over and visit you tonight?" she asked a little hesitantly, not sure if Ferris would want them to risk being in the same room while in her house. "I just… I'm not-- Tell me if I'm being clingy or annoying or anything, but I just… I wanna try to spend as much time with you as possible," she explained quietly.

Ferris's eyebrows rose as Vianna turned to him, asking if she could come over and visit him tonight, even though they'd just spent the previous night together. "Of course you can Vi," the boy said without hesitation, though the small smile that had formed on his pale faced disappeared as Vianna asked him to tell her if she was being clingy or annoying. He pressed his lips to her own gently, kissing her for a sweet moment before breaking apart, "You're not clingy or annoying. I want you to come visit me," he said with a soft smile. "More than anything else, to be honest....Because I'm gonna miss you, Vi.." he admitted once more, giving a weak smile before pressing a warm kiss to her cheek.

Despite feeling rather down about Ferris's coming departure, Vianna's lips curved into a smile as the boy assured her she could visit him that night. She was a bit surprised as his lips then met her own, though she was quick to return the gentle kiss for the moment it lasted, before allowing her blue eyes to flutter open as they pulled apart. She listened as Ferris then informed her she wasn't clingy or annoying, that he wanted her to visit him more than anything else, as he was going to miss her too. Her forehead creased slightly as her gaze turned a little more sympathetic, though the smile remained on her lips as Ferris then placed a kiss on her cheek. It was now that she realized… if being apart from the boy for only seven days was going to be this difficult, being apart from him for a whole year would be completely impossible; they'd have to figure something out about their future, eventually.

The boy let out a small sigh as they turned into a small silence, breaking it only when he finally spoke, "How am I going to be able to talk to you?" he asked, his brown eyes turning to her as though he was a lost puppy. Ferris gave a weak smile, knowing he sounded rather pathetic. But he couldn't help it. He'd been with Vianna every day for the past month, not a day apart from one another. This was going to be difficult.

Vianna turned to the boy at her side as he spoke, asking how he was going to be able to talk to her during their time apart. "We could… write?" she offered with a weak smile. It was then that she took one of his arms into her hands and turned it so she could see the tattoo hidden away behind the watch she now moved aside a bit so she could fully see the doodles on his wrist. Her smile widened slightly at the sight of her handwriting and their little drawings on his pale skin.

"I suppose we could," the boy agreed with a small smile, watching as the girl gently took his arm and uncovered his wrist to see the new tattoo. Ferris gave a faint smile at this, though he couldn't keep it up too much, "Do you have a telephone at all, Vi?" he asked softly, unsure if the Vincenzis kept anything muggle around. Not many wizarding families did. But he was used to the telephone, due to the fact that his mother kept many muggle items around the house. "I want to be able to hear your voice..."

Vianna looked up from Ferris's tattoo as the boy asked her if she had a phone, and she shook her head in response. "Not really, no..." she replied. "There are phones at my dad's resort, but none here in the house. We don't really have many Muggle objects," she muttered, which explained why she usually ended up brain-dead after a few minutes of television. Her gaze turned a little more sympathetic, though, as Ferris explained to her he wanted to hear her voice. "Well... we could use floo powder. Or mirrors," she suggested. "That's usually how I get in touch with people outside the house."

Ferris listened as Vianna explained that she didn't have a phone except for at her fathre's hotel, and he gave an understanding nod, having expected this answer. But as she listed off their alternatives, his hopes increased just slightly, "Do you have an extra mirror?" he asked softly. He wasn't exactly sure how those worked or if they were portable of even if she was willing to lend him one, but he wanted to make sure.

Vianna's smile widened to a grin as Ferris asked if she had an extra mirror. "Yes, of course! There's lots of them around the house," she replied, rather excited about this. Being able to see the boy and hear his voice, even if it was just through a mirror, would definitely make the separation a lot easier to bear. "I'll bring one when I come over tonight, I gotta figure out which ones are connected to which," she added with a soft chuckle; she didn't want to accidentally end up giving Ferris a mirror that would lead him to Victor instead or something, of course.

Ferris listened as Vianna told him that they had lots around the house and a smile finally fell onto his pale features, glad to know that they had something figured out that would allow them to see each other. "Great," he said softly, listening as she explained that she'd bring over one for him tonight when she came to visit. After a moment of short silence, he was brought back to the situation, reminded by all of this talk. "I don't want to leave you," he murmured softly after a couple moments, pulling her closer. A week. An entire week apart.

That bit of excitement that had come to Vianna's blue eyes faded just very slightly as Ferris spoke, sharing that he didn't want to leave her. "I don't want you to leave either, Professor," the young girl replied softly. But she felt a little more optimistic now, so a small smile remained on her lips. "But we'll still be able to hear each other, and see each other... and then, as soon as that week is over, we'll be together in person again. Whether it's at camp or not... if I haven't started classes yet, you know you can come and stay here with us 'til we can head back," she said.

Ferris couldn't keep a smile off his face for long listening to the girl speak, smiling slightly in spite of himself as she reminded him that they'd be able to talk and see each other, and they'd be together in person once the week was over. "I can't wait," he said with a soft chuckle, kissing her forehead very gently before he let out a sigh, taking a look at his watch. Wow...it was already twelve. "Hmm...We've got a couple hours before we should start getting ready to leave," the boy announced softly. "What would you like to do with our time, Vi?"

Vianna beamed as Ferris seemed to react positively to her words, before then announcing that they had a couple hours left before it was time to start getting ready to leave. "Do you wanna head outside for a bit?" she asked, before her eyes suddenly widened slightly. "Oh! I'll have to talk with Giuliana first, though; let her know we're here," she said.

Ferris was about to respond to Vianna's first question when she suddenly spoke once more, remembering that she'd have to speak with Giuliana and let her know that they were there. "Alright, you do that, and then we'll go outside," the boy replied with a warm smile, releasing his grip around her so she could stand up and go to her room. "I'll wait for you out here," he said, kissing her hand just because he could before releasing it and speaking once more. "Oh, and please tell her I say thank you, very sincerely, for covering for us and letting me take out my gem."

Vianna nodded as Ferris decided she'd go speak to her cousin first and then they'd go head outside. She smiled as his lips met her hand and listened as the boy asked her to thank her cousin for covering for them and letting him take her out. Vianna chuckled softly and nodded her head again. "I'll be back in five," she promise before heading over to her room and disappearing from sight.

Ferris let out a small sigh to himself as Vianna left, leaning back into the couch as he ran a hand through his dark brown curls. These next few days would be interesting, to say the least. First, he had to go speak with his father and then he had to live a week without Vianna fixing up his torn down house. Great. He was a little tired just thinking about it, nerves settling into his stomach once more as he was reminded that he was meeting with his father that afternoon. In just a couple hours he'd be meeting with the man that had left five, nearly six, years ago.

As promised, Vianna returned about five minutes later, that usual smile adorning her lightly tanned face. "All ready, Professor?" she asked as she caught sight of the boy, walking over toward him and offering him a hand before beginning to lead them down the staircase, to the foyer, and eventually out to the grassy fields waiting outside, a short distance from the ocean that lay to their right.

Ferris gave a small smile as Vianna returned, following her lead outside and letting out a small sigh to himself as they walked out into the sunshine. "It feels weird," he admitted to the girl softly, leading the way out towards the water a bit. "I know we just got back, but I want to steal you away again..." the boy admitted with a soft chuckle. But being back at the Vincenzi home, and suddenly realizing that he was leaving tomorrow and that his time with Vianna was limited, he suddenly felt weighed down, like he wanted to escape again.
