Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

"Yes, I'm sure," Vianna replied simply but determinedly as the boy at her side asked if they couldn't just skip the whole doctor thing, shrinking the broom and setting it away... somewhere, if her dress had pockets. "We won't be long, Professor," the girl assured him, taking his hand and beginning to lead the way. "I promise after we're done with the doctor, you can have all the ice cream and anything else you want."

Ferris let out a small sigh as Vianna didn't go for the offer, not that he'd really expected it to, but he still had that small amount of hope there...He intwined their fingers, walking alongside her reluctantly and listening as she promised that he could have anything he wanted after he was done with the doctor. "Don't think I'll forget you said that," he murmrued playfully, eyebrows raising as he let out a soft chuckle. But his smile soon faded, falling into a disgruntled half frown. Ew. Doctors.

"I have a feeling I'm going to regret having said that, then..." muttered Vianna a bit warily before chuckling softly as Ferris warned her that he wouldn't forget her promise of allowing him to have anything he wanted after they'd seen the doctor. She smiled with a amusement at the half frown that took over his features and leaned on her toes to place a quick kiss to his cheek. "Cheer up, Professor, it's not that bad!" she assured him, flashing the boy a bright smile before turning her gaze to the many little shops (or at least they seemed small from the outside, though magic could always play tricks on the eye) in search for a familiar private doctor's office.

Ferris couldn't help but let a slight smile fall onto his pale features as Vianna told him to cheer up, kissing his cheek and assuring him that it wouldn't be that bad. "Yeah, I guess..." he murmured with a soft sigh, though there was reluctant amusement in his quirkily handsome features, his brown eyes scanning the various little shops as he realized that he didn't know exactly where they were going. "Are we almost there?" he asked softly.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris asked if they were almost there. "Yes, we're here," she replied, opening the door leading into what could've been just another little shop but turned out to be a doctor's office. "Bisogno di vedere il dottor Rossi. E 'Vianna Vincenzi," said the girl to the friendly woman at the front desk. The woman rose her eyebrows slightly and gave a friendly smile, nodding her head in response before busying herself getting in touch with the doctor. Vianna turned to the boy at her side then. "Are you still nervous, Professor?"

Ferris's dark brown eyes widened slightly as Vianna informed him that they were already there, his eyebrows raising as they walked into the office. And there it was. That stale, cold smell of the doctor's office. It didn't matter where the office was or who was running it, every doctor's office on the planet smelled the same. As Vianna turned to him to ask if he was still nervous, he gave a weak chuckle, "My nerves increased," he admitted with a small smile.

Vianna gave the boy at her side a sympathetic smile as he shared with her that his nerves had actually just increased. "Aw Professor, there's nothing to be nervous about! Doctor Rossi's really nice, he's been with our family since before my brothers and I were born," said the girl, before her smile turned into something more of a smirk. "I'm sure if you're a good boy he'll let you have some cookies afterward," she teased, then chuckling softly to herself.
The girl was soon distracted, though, as the receptionist spoke in Italian, informing the young girl that the doctor was waiting for them, that they could walk inside. "Grazie," Vianna replied with a smile, taking Ferris's hand once again and leading the boy over to a door of dark wood that matched the floors. It seemed they really liked wood in southern Italy.

The boy gave a faint smile as the girl assured him the doctor was nice and had been with their family for years. Ferris rolled his eyes with a playful scowl as Vianna teased him, suggesting that he might even get some cookies from the doctor if he played nice during the appointment. But before he could really respond to this, Vianna was speaking with the receptionist in her sweet Italian, and was suddenly leading him back towards the real office. With a slightly uncomfortable look to his pale face, Ferris reluctantly followed after, his sneakers trudging softly on the hard wood floors.

Doctor Rossi was a very tall and very thin old man, kind of cartoony in a way, with his thick-frame glasses and gray hair that stood on all ends. But he had a kind smile and he greeted the kids warmly, his pace a bit sluggish as he got up from his seat and approached the pair. He greeted Vianna with a bright smile, and the pair exchanged a few words before the old man turned his brown eyes upon Ferris. "Che succede qui? Il tuo braccio?" he asked, taking Ferris's injured arm and examining it, rather oblivious to the pain this might've caused the boy.

"Sì, è caduto da un albero..." Vianna explained with a small smile.

Doctor Rossi rose his gray eyebrows at her before turning back to Ferris. "Climbing trees?" he asked with a bit of an Italian accent in his English, his expression a bit surprised but at the same time rather amused. But it wasn't very often that people came to him because they fell off trees.

Ferris followed Vianna into the doctor's office, his brown eyes falling onto a skinny old man and watching as he and his fiancee exchanged words in swift Italian. And suddenly, his left arm had been pulled from its comfortable place bent at his side, extended unexpectedly and causing a pain that made the gangly boy wince loudly. He gave a sheepish smile as he realized how loud that'd been, and listened as the old man asked for confirmation that he'd been climbing trees. His eyebrows rose, not having expected the man to speak English at all. "Yes," he replied with a small, polite smile, though he still seemed to be rather uncomfortable. Whether this was because his arm felt like it'd just been wrenched ten different ways or because this doctor's office felt like a doctor's office, he couldn't tell.

Vianna cringed slightly to herself as Ferris winced loudly, able to almost feel the pain just from hearing the boy. "Egli è anche paura dei medici," said the girl, turning back to the doctor who rose his gray eyebrows once again. He gave Ferris a look and chuckled softly to himself, something even a bit mocking about it, though he made no comment for the next couple moments as he continued examining the boy's arm, this time being more gentle as Ferris had made it clear this caused him pain.

Doctor Rossi turned to Vianna then, and gave the girl a brief explanation of what was going on with the boy's arm and what he planned to do about it, and the girl nodded her head in response before turning to Ferris with a small smile. "He's going to wrap an elastic bandage around your arm, he says you might've done more damage than just scratching your skin when you landed on it," she said.

"Here," said Dr. Rossi, handing Ferris a chocolate chip cookie. "Questo potrebbe un po 'male, ma sarà valsa la pena."

Ferris watched as the doctor seemed to be a bit more gentle with him, though he chuckled in a way that the boy could sense a bit of mocking in. But he remained silent, appreciating that the man wasn't so rough with his arm anymore, and turned to Vianna for an explanation as the doctor addressed her. His eyebrows rose as she explained that the old man was going to wrap his arm in a bandage as he might have more damage than just a few scratches. The boy gave a brief nod to this before his brown eyes turned to the doctor who suddenly appeared with a chocolate chip cookie, something he took into his uninjured hand with a weak smile. She wasn't kidding... "Thank you," Ferris said, giving a polite smile before taking a small bite. But he'd never really been a fan of chocolate, and he took the bite mainly to be polite.

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly to herself with amusement as Ferris took the cookie. She remembered, though, the boy's dislike for chocolate. "You don't have to eat it if you don't want to, Professor," said the girl. "He's only offering because... I might have mentioned you weren't a big fan of doctors," the girl confessed, though she still seemed a bit amused.

"Sedere, sedere," said the doctor, gesturing for Ferris to sit down. "Vianna, digli che potrebbe un po 'male."

"He said it might hurt a bit," Vianna translated, giving a sympathetic smile.

Ferris's dark brown eyes turned to Vianna as she spoke, assuring him that he didn't have to eat the cookie, that it was only offered to him because she'd told the doctor he wasn't a fan of doctors. He gave her a soft sigh, but there was slight amusement in his gaze, "No, that's alright. I wouldn't want to be rude," he murmured, taking a seat as the doctor motioned for him to. But as Vianna announced that this might hurt, he finally set the cookie down as though to prepare for whatever might come. "Alright.." he murmured warily.

Once the boy was seated, Dr. Rossi took his arm again, still gentle as he then very slowly and with a slightly shaky hand (due to old age) began to wrap the elastic bandage around Ferris's injured arm, wrapping it tightly enough to perhaps cause the boy a bit of pain, but to apply enough pressure for the bone inside to heal itself from the strong hit it had received earlier during the accident.
The process took a few long minutes, and by the end of it half of the boy's forearm was covered up to a few inches above the elbow. "Ciò potrebbe richiedere un paio di settimane per guarire. Cercate di non applicare troppa pressione sul vostro braccio durante quel tempo, e per di più ... No more trees!" said the doctor, raising his eyebrows slightly at the boy.

Ferris gave much softer, inaudible winces to himself throughout the wrapping process that stung every once in a while. But the bandage was tight around his scraped, lightly bruised skin, rubbing up against his red wounds and irritating them slightly. But finally, after what felt like far too long of constant wrapping, the doctor finished and spoke in swift Italian to Vianna before turning to him and instructing him that he be involved with no more trees. "No more trees," the boy agreed with a soft chuckle and a brief nod, though behind his brown eyes he seemed a little wary. But his arm was feeling sore on the inside and irritated on the outside, he had the taste of chocolate in his mouth, and the smell of doctor's office in his nose.

Vianna exchanged a few more words with Dr. Rossi before turning to Ferris. "Let's go, Professor," she said, honestly feeling a little bad for the boy. Dr. Rossi was a nice man, she knew, but she didn't want to keep her fiancé in there for too long, as she knew he probably wasn't necessarily having the time of his life. Once out of the small office, Vianna exchanged a few quick words with the receptionist, regarding payments, before turning back to Ferris and taking his hand into her own with a small smile. "You ready for some ice cream, then, Professor?" she asked, leading the way back out onto the piazza.

I'm literally like falling asleep as I'm typing this...

But I'll be on tomorrow and the rest of the weekend, so I promise to make up for my lack of presence over the past week or so! I've been like crazy stressed!

Ferris gave an internal sigh of relief as Vianna suggested they get going, giving the doctor and nod and a polite "Thank you" before he got up and followed Vianna outside until they were back on the roads. As the girl took his hand, he gently intwined their fingers, finally letting out a real sigh of relief as she asked if he was ready for ice cream. "More than anything," he admitted with a shake of his head, his left arm once more tucked back to his side and looking a little more pathetic now that it was covered in a bandage.

Vianna gave the boy at her side a sympathetic smile, watching him quietly for a moment before speaking again, "The doctor said that it might take a couple weeks for your arm to heal, and you shouldn't apply too much pressure to it," said the girl, translating the last few things the doctor had told them before leaving. "So, from now on... you're not allowed out of bed!" she decided determinedly. Of course, always count on Vianna to over-exaggerate and turn 'he shouldn't use that arm too much' into 'he should be tied to the bed and never move an inch until his arm is fully healed'.

Ferris's rather pathetic, little hurt puppy expression quickly morphed into an amused, laughing one, as Vianna explained that the doctor mentioned he shouldn't put too much pressure on his arm for the next couple weeks; which apparently, in Vianna's mind, meant that he was never allowed out of bed. He grinned at this, letting out a few soft chuckles as he admired the determined Italian girl at his side. "Gem!" he replied, slipping his free arm around her with a soft smile. "I'm gonna have to get out of bed at some point," he reminded her from his towering height a foot above her.

"Only if it's completely necessary and your life depends on it," Vianna replied simply and rather stubbornly as Ferris reminded her that he had to get out of bed at some point. "I don't want you falling off stairs, or tripping on rugs, or running into things, Professor," she added a little more softly, as if this was something so common the boy ran a great risk of suffering from one of these accidents any time of day. And actually, that was kind of true.

Ferris let out another warm chuckle as Vianna informed him that the only way he'd be getting out of bed was if it was completely necessary and his life depended on it. He was about to mention how ridiculous this plan was until she continued in that sweet soft voice of hers, her bright blue eyes practically burning a hole into him as she mentioned that she didn't want him to fall off any stairs or run into things or trip over rugs. The boy paused, evaluating her expression and the possibility of any of this happening. And that was a pretty big possibility. "Are you gonna stay with me?" Ferris finally asked softly, with a raise of his eyebrows and a slightly quirky smile on his pale face.

As Ferris asked her if she was going to stay with him, Vianna's lightly tanned face lit up with the brightest of smiles, and she watched him like this for a brief moment before replying, "Of course! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." She turned her gaze away from him then, scanning the piazza for an ice cream parlor nearby.

How had this whole, permanent bedrest thing turn out to be something he was looking forward to? Vianna had basically just informed him that she was keeping him on house arrest, and ultimately...he was really alright with this plan. Almost looking forward to it. But why wouldn't he be? Days of having nothing to do but talk with his fiancee, read books, and eat!? Ferris smiled slightly as Vianna assured him she'd be right at his side the whole time, her blue eyes drifting away from him to search for an ice cream place. It was then that he snuck a quick kiss to her lips, letting it last for a couple sweet moments before he broke apart with a warm smile.

Vianna was a bit caught off-guard when Ferris's lips met her own, though she returned the kiss lovingly for the couple moments it lasted before they pulled away and the smile returned to her face. It was then that she caught sight of the familiar ice cream parlor she had always visited since she was a child, the same one she and Ferris had visited the year before. She began to lead the way over to it then, making her way across the slightly crowded piazza that was full, as always, of tourists wandering around aimlessly.
