This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris analyzed Vianna's expression as she looked over his cityscape, a slightly apprehensive look on his face as he waited for her to speak. At her words, a warm smile broke out onto his pale features, listening as she told him that she didn't know he did cityscapes; that it was amazing. Even though Vianna had said something nice whenever he showed her one of his drawings, there was still that small leap of happiness that came into his stomach at the admiring look she got in her eye; the complimenting words that came from her mouth, something about how she supported his mediocre hobby so much made him really happy. "You really think so?" he confirmed shyly, gently averting his eyes from the drawing as he seemed to be more proud of Vianna's reaction rather than the picture itself.

"Of course I do!" Vianna replied with a smile, chuckling softly at the boy's sudden shyness. She found it rather amusing how he was so good at so many different things but seemed not to notice his own skills. She glanced back down at the drawing in her hands for another moment, scanning it curiously and quietly before finally looking up once again and returning it. "You know what would be fun? To look back at all these drawings a couple of years from now... they narrate this whole adventure from your point of view, in a way," she said, gazing out to the darkening sky absentmindedly.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris found himself smiling like a bit of a goof as she confirmed her previous statements, his hand finding hers only moments later as it was such a natural movement for him now. He was watching the city for a moment when he heard Vianna's next words, his smile widening as she imagined how fun it would be to look back at these drawings in a couple of years, mentioning that his pictures kind of narrated the whole adventure from his point of view. He thought about this for a moment, his eyes roaming to their hands momentarily before going back to her, "I guess you're right," he said with a faint smile, his mind obviously out in the future thinking about where they would be looking back onto the drawings sitting in Vianna's hand now.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he spoke and watched the boy for a moment before letting her gaze return to the view ahead. She sighed softly, the smile still on her face. "I like this city. The ocean reminds me a lot of Sicily," she said absentmindedly, watching curiously as some of the city lights began illuminating the scene as the sky slowly grew darker and darker. "Except I doubt you can see the stars here," she added with a frown, now looking up at the clear sky. As expected, there wasn't a single star in sight.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor He listened as the girl spoke, telling him that she liked the city, adding that the ocean reminded her a lot of Sicily. He smiled slightly at this, glad that she felt comfortable here even though they had just changed locations once more. His eyes gently rose to the skies as she mentioned them, letting out a small sigh as he realized she was correct, there were very little stars, "Yeah, I'm afraid you're right about that..." he murmured. But there were bigger things on the boy's mind than just the stars. Ferris started hesitantly, unsure of if Vianna would want to speak about it or not. "Vi...Where's Victor?" he asked her gently.

Vianna sighed and now watched the people walking in the rooms of the neighboring hotels before turning to Ferris as he spoke, telling her she was right about the stars. She nodded her head slightly and was just about to look away when he then asked her about her brother. Vianna's eyes widened slightly, not having expected the question, and looked out to the cityscape around them once again. "He went back to Italy," she replied dully, a mix of worry and bitterness in her voice.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris could feel himself tense up just slightly at the sight of her widened eyes, watching with brief concern as she replied dully, stating that her eldest brother had returned to Italy, bitterness evident in the girl's expression. Brows furrowing slightly, he remained silent for a few moments, gathering his thoughts but letting the girl beside him do so too, not wanting to interrogate her with questions. Maybe this was why the girl had seemed a little...different over the past afternoon. He sat with her in soft silence for a minute or so before breaking it with his gentle voice, "Do...Do you want to talk about it?" was all he could manage to ask the girl who was obviously upset about whatever her brother was doing.
OOC: I've gotta go Dee! I should be on tomorrow, once this annoying week is over!

Vianna's bare feet left the floor as she crossed her legs on the seat. She stared ahead at nothing specific before turning to Ferris as he spoke once again, asking her if she wanted to talk about it. Vianna hesitated for a moment, brows furrowing as she grew irritated at her own indecisiveness - part of her wanted to talk, the other part didn't. She then sighed and started, "He's going back to the camp. He's just going to check how things are going there and hopefully not get caught; then he's going down to Sicily to assure Mum and Dad that we're alright and explain what's going on." She absentmindedly began fidgeting with the edge of her plain t-shirt. "It's not fair... Vince and I really want to see Mum and Dad too. I know it's risky and all, but I don't mind taking the risk if it gives me the chance to see them again. Victor knew Vince and I would try to bribe him into letting us go with him, so he never said anything until the very last minute, when there was nothing we could do but go along with his plan." She sighed, her brows furrowing in what almost seemed like a glare as she was clearly very annoyed with her brother at the moment.
ooc: ! Awwww alright, Ruthersss! I'll see you tomorrow, then!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched as she seemed to think for a moment before starting to speak, telling him that Victor had decided to go back to camp. Brown eyes widening, his mind began to wonder about all of the bad things that could come from going directly back into the camp. But he hardly had time to think much about it as Vianna kept talking, adding on that her brother was then going to Sicily to visit their parents to tell them what was happening and that they were alright. His eyes widening further at this, he could only keep his mouth shut, listening as Vianna told him that Victor had waited until the last possible minute to announce all of this, so his two siblings would have no chance of changing his plans so they could go along. Brows furrowed, Ferris thought for a moment, feeling sympathetic for the girl next to him. He couldn't imagine how he would be feeling right now if he hadn't gotten to see his mother at some point during all of this craziness. He looked back to Vianna with a slightly new understanding, a frown on his face. And he couldn't figure out what to say. Of all the things racing through his mind at the moment, no response was good enough to comfort her. "I'm sorry," was all he could manage to say, slightly annoyed with how lame that sounded after her explanation, but knew he couldn't think of much better.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he spoke and gave the boy a weak smile. "It's not your fault," she told him. She understood the boy couldn't say much at everything she had just thrown at him and it probably made him rather uncomfortable. "I feel better now, though," Vianna added more positively, the smile returning to her lips. "Would you like to go back inside?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched her with slight concern in his eyes as she told him she was feeling better and asking if he wanted to go back inside. Sometimes it seriously made him amazed at how positive she could be, making him think of how truly fitting her nickname was. "Yeah, sure," he said, standing up and starting to gather his things which were now spread out across the table. "You can head in, I'll meet you in there," he told her as he started to fold his sketchpad back up.

Vianna looked up as Ferris got to his feet and nodded her head slightly as the boy told her he'd meet her inside. She then got up and headed back into the room, turning on the lights as it was dark outside now and there was no more sunlight coming in. The young girl then headed over to the living room, scanning the place for any signs of her pet squirrel who must have been starving by now. But there was no Fluffy in sight. Vianna's brows furrowed and she checked her bedroom, but at seeing the squirrel wasn't there, she moved on to her brother's room. "Fluffy!"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris walked back into the living room to shouts of 'Fluffy', making his brows furrow immediately. Setting down his sketchpad, book, and coffee mug clumsily onto a table, he quickly followed the sound of Vianna's voice back into Vince's room, "Vianna, what's wrong?" he asked, concerned as to what the squirrel had done now.

"I can't find Fluffy," Vianna replied as Ferris walked into the room asking her what was wrong. She had been so preoccupied looking for Fluffy and wondering where he might have gone, that it took her a moment to realize that her brother wasn't in the room either. Vianna frowned slightly at this before her eyes then widened and she gasped in horror. "You don't think Vince did something to him, do you?!" she asked, not at all doubting that her brother would take this opportunity to throw Fluffy out a window or something.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyes widened as the girl told him that she couldn't find Fluffy; the last thing they needed right now was to get Vianna's beloved squirrel lost somewhere in France. "Look, I'm sure he's just hiding somewhere in the room," he told her, remaining calm even though he was slightly worried. He began to check around the couches when Vianna spoke next, gasping loud enough to make the boy jump. He thought for a moment as she asked if he thought Vince had done something to him. "No, Vi, I doubt it," he replied, sure of himself. "Vince wouldn't touch Fluffy for the same reason that Victor hasn't snapped me in two yet: You have a strange affection for the both of us." He then continued to look for the creature, getting on his knees to search under the couch.

Vianna brows furrowed slightly as Ferris assured her that Vince wouldn't touch Fluffy and she nodded her head slightly, seeing the boy had a point. As he searched Vince's room, Vianna headed back to her own room and continued searching the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. But there were no signs of Fluffy. Vianna felt herself beginning to panic now, where could the squirrel have gone? And if he was in the room, why wasn't he answering to her calls?

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris found no trace of the squirrel anywhere within Vince's hotel room. He checked all over the living room: the fireplace, the couches, the armchairs, the mantle, the rug; and then he checked the bedrooms: all over the beds, in each bathroom. He finally checked the kitchen, searching through each drawer and appliance but still came up empty handed. Letting out a small sigh, he returned to Vianna's room to deliver the bad news to the girl. At the sight of her worried face, his brows furrowed and he desperately wanted to say that he found the marshmallow-loving squirrel hiding somewhere, possibly taking a nap. "I'm sorry Vi, I couldn't find him in there," he admitted, walking up to her.

Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy returned to the room, but was disappointed to find him empty-handed as he then announced he hadn't found Fluffy. Vianna sighed, now beginning to pace back and forth by the fireplace as she tried thinking of anywhere her beloved squirrel could be. But every possible place had already been checked; it just didn't make sense. "What am I going to do, Professor?" she asked, looking up at the boy in the room with worry creasing her forehead. She hadn't even had Fluffy for a whole week yet, and she had already lost him. The thought filled her with guilt. "I shouldn't have gone to sleep... then he wouldn't be missing right now," she muttered, glancing at the couch where her squirrel had once been laying lazily and watching her with blank, bored eyes.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris took a seat on the couch, watching as the girl paced back and forth before the fireplace. He was frowning slightly, watching as the girl obviously worried and panicked over the missing squirrel she loved so much. He thought for a moment as she asked what she was going to do, about to reply when she spoke once more, mentioning that she shouldn't have taken that nap; that she would still have Fluffy if she hadn't. His frown even more prominent, Ferris spoke firmly, "Don't say things like that. This isn't your fault," he contradicted her. He honestly didn't know what to do now though; what could the possibly do to find that squirrel? If he wasn't in the hotel rooms, what were they supposed to check? The rest of the city?

Vianna turned to Ferris with furrowed brows as the boy contradicted her, telling her not to say things like that as the situation wasn't her fault. She sighed, now taking a seat on the couch as well. She pulled out her wand and tried summoning a patronus, but failed miserably. She just couldn't concentrate on any happy thoughts at the moment, not with her squirrel missing and her oldest brother heading back to camp where he could easily bump into one of the kidnappers. Vianna sighed once more, this time in frustration as the third attempt at a patronus failed. She was just about to stand and leave the room to look for the squirrel in the rest of the hotel if it was necessary, but a hurried knock on the door snapped her out of thoughts.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched with saddened eyes as the girl turned frustrated on the couch next to him, obviously trying to sum up the happiness for a patronus and failing miserably. Brows furrowed, he was just about to tell her something when she said angrily and a hurried knock came to the door. He quickly stood up, taking the opportunity to run over to the door and answer it quickly.

As soon as Ferris opened the door, Vince burst right through with a clearly angered look on his face and holding something brown up in his right hand. "Vianna!" he exclaimed, walking straight to the girl. In his hand, Fluffy tried pulling himself out of the boy's tightened grip. "Your stupid squ--"
"Fluffy!" Vianna grinned, jumping up from the couch and taking the squirrel into her hands. She beamed down at the little creature now resting in her hands. But her brows furrowed as the usually-energetic squirrel laid down on her hands with a rather sick look on its face. "What did you do to him!?"
"What? I didn't do anything to it!" said Vince, shooting his sister a look as she immediately seemed to accuse him of hurting the squirrel. "I was down by the lobby when the stupid thing jumped at me-- look, the point is - your squirrel ate my key. So I need a new one," he said, holding out an empty hand. Clearly, his concern was on getting a new key, not about the sick squirrel now in his sister's hands.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: "look, the point is - your squirrel ate my key. So I need a new one" Ferris just barely stepped out of the way as Vince barged into the room, sick squirrel in hand, marching over to Vianna with a clearly angered look on his face. He closed the door, watching as Vianna joyously took the squirrel back into her hands, and Vince explained that the thing had eaten his key and he needed a new one. Eyes a little wide at this new information, Ferris walked over to Vianna and Fluffy, looking down at the sickly squirrel with slight concern in his eyes.

ooc: ! Tee hee.
Vianna's eyes widened as Vince explained the reason behind Fluffy's new sickly behaviour. She looked down at Fluffy as he lay on his side motionless, his big marshmallow-filled (and now key-filled) belly moving just slightly as he breathed in and out at a very slow pace. "No..." Vianna looked up from the squirrel, eyes wide and filled with worry as she looked up at the other two boys. "What-- what're am I going to do!? He's barely breathing, Professor!" she said, now turning to Ferris, her features almost pleading as she looked up at the boy.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris looked up from the squirrel to Vianna as he was addressed by the latter, his eyes filling with sadness at the sight of Vianna's pleading expression and near cry for help. Watching her for a moment, it only took him half a second to make a decision, "I'm going to find a vet," he stated quickly, unable to take the idea of Vianna without her beloved squirrel. Even though the little guy could be annoying, he didn't ever want the squirrel dead. He quickly left her side, walking over to the phone and speaking in speedy French. He was silent for a moment as the front desk connected him to the nearest vet's office.
