This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris told her she'd always get preference and then raised her eyebrows as the boy announced his stomach was full. "Already!?" she asked with mock surprise, though she wasn't too shocked he was full. It was only normal after the dinner he had just eaten. She gave him a smile and rested her head on his shoulder, returning her gaze to the fire once again. "We'll save them for... tomorrow, then," she said.

Ferris gave a mock grimace as Vianna expressed her disbelief that he was full already, "Yes, I know, don't be too disappointed in me. I'm just a boy!" he joked with her, letting out a laugh. But as she rested her head on his shoulder, his smile returned and his lanky arm wrapped around her, holding her close to his side. He listened as she told him that they would save the marshmallows for tomorrow, "Wherever we'll go, we'll need marshmallows," he agreed with a warm smile in her direction.

OOC: Ok, I'll watch it when...Well I don't know when I won't want to sleep for days, but if that ever happens, I'll watch it!

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris told her not to be too disappointed as he was just a boy and then smiled, nodding her head as he told her that they'd need marshmallows wherever they go. "Yes we will," she agreed, watching the flames flickering in the fireplace absentmindedly. She remained silent for a moment before suddenly chuckling softly to herself. "I still can't believe that guy thought we were engaged," she said thoughtfully as she remembered the scene with amusement in her eyes.

Ferris sat comfortably with her, gently stroking her arm absentmindedly as he watched the ceiling. A smile on his face without him realizing it, he enjoyed the warmth of the fire and being able to hold the girl next to him. But he was brought out of his reverie as she spoke, expressing her disbelief that that one guy thought they were engaged. He let out a soft chuckle, "Yeah, I know..." he trailed off, letting a silence settle between them for a moment as he gathered his thoughts. "Well..I mean, i-it's not that far-fetched of a conclusion," he said hesitantly, not wanting the girl to take it the wrong way. "I mean, you know how I stare at you so much," he let out a weak joke, though a small smile was on his face.

Vianna continued watching the flames as Ferris spoke, now mentioning that the conclusion the old man at the wand shop had come to wasn't really that far-fetched. The girl's features filled with confusion for a moment before he then proceeded to explain that it was probably because he stared at her so much. Vianna chuckled softly at this. "That you do," she agreed with a nod, letting her gaze return to the boy beside her. Her brows then furrowed slightly and her gaze lowered, though she didn't look at anything in specific. "Is that something people do when they're engaged, then? Stare at each other?" she asked with almost childlike innocence. But Vianna had never been in a serious relationship before - not to mention an engagement - so she wasn't sure about a number of things, like how exactly couples were supposed to behave. Though during her time with Ferris she just let instinct take over.

Ferris watched as she seemed to lower her gaze, obviously thinking about something. He listened as she asked if that was what people who were engaged did, stare at each other, and couldn't hold in a soft laugh. "I don't think so Vi," he answered her though a moment later his smile faded slightly, as he wasn't exactly a genius at this either, and wasn't quite sure how engaged people looked. Though, his mother once did have a couple of friends who got engaged when Ferris was about fifteen, he vaguely remembered how mushy they seemed, overly romantic. He couldn't imagine that he was like that with Vianna, everything they talked about and everything they did always seemed natural to him, but then again...Vince always said he couldn't stand being around them because they were so romantic. Brows furrowing slightly, he looked back to the girl as his eyes had drifted to the fire for a moment as he thought. "I don't think it's just staring. I think it's just...something about them. The way they....notice each other, I guess....I mean, I once knew a couple who were engaged. They were very...into each other I guess you could say. They always were very aware of the other, always next to each other, had a kind of weird...happiness about them?"

Vianna smiled faintly as Ferris laughed softly at her question; she figured it must have been rather silly. She continued staring off into space thoughtfully as the boy turned quiet, but her attention returned to him as he began speaking again, trying to explain how engaged couples seemed to stand out. Vianna listened curiously and attentively, nodding her head slightly as he spoke. She then chuckled softly at his last words. "Weird happiness?" she repeated with a raised eyebrow. "So are we happy in a weird kind of way?" she asked before chuckling once again. "But isn't being into each other and next to each other all the time normal for all couples? I mean... if you like someone, isn't it normal to always want to be with them, engaged or not?" she asked, her brows beginning to furrow slightly once again as she thought about it all. It was rather strange and incredibly new to her.

Ferris's brows furrowed at all of her questions, unsure of how to answer them as he truly didn't know himself. He thought for a moment, "I don't know, Vi, maybe we need a second opinion," he suggested, brows still furrowed. He suddenly thought of something, "This is going to sound weird, but...let's go ask Vince," he said hesitantly. " I mean....he seems to see us a little more clearly than we see ourselves when it comes to stuff like this...." Ferris started standing up, randomly curious about this now.

Vianna raised her eyebrows slightly at Ferris as he shared that they probably needed a second opinion. The young girl was just about to ask him about that when he suggested the one and only - Vince. Vianna's jaw dropped at this. "Vince?!" she repeated incredulously. If anyone knew any less about couples and relationships than they did it was probably Vince. But Vianna got up to her feet anyway, her brows slightly furrowed before a smile lit up her face. Now that she thought about it, it would be rather amusing to hear her airhead brother's opinion on a subject like this. "Let's go," she said, taking Ferris's hand and heading out the door to the hallway.

Ferris let out a small laugh at her disbelief, only giving her a nod as he got to his feet. But he was soon being pulled out the door, smile still on his face, and they were across the hall to the boys' room. He entered it with his hand still around Vianna's, spotting Vince and walking a few steps over to the living room with a friendly smile. "Vince...can we ask you something?" he asked him politely.

Vince was lounging on the couch enjoying the food the room delivery service had brought for him a little while ago. He was absentmindedly flipping through a French magazine when the other two showed up and snapped him out of his trance. He looked at them with slightly raised eyebrows as Ferris asked if they could ask him something. "Sure, what is it?" he asked.

Ferris gave a brief nod before thinking for a moment, trying to figure out the best way to ask. "Well, you see, today we were...." he trailed off, deciding that wasn't the way to ask. "We were just wondering..." he started again, but once more decided that wasn't right either. "Well, w-we just wanted to know...And this is going to sound like a really weird question....How....How do we look to other people?" he finally let out, hand still firmly intwined with Vianna's, the other stuck in his jeans pocket as he watched Vince cautiously. "Like...As a couple, I mean...."

Vince raised an eyebrow as Ferris stuttered his way through various starters before choosing one and finally asking his question. When he finished, Vince's brows furrowed in bewilderment. This was completely out of the blue - he had been expecting Ferris to come and ask him not to tell the others about his nail polish and secret homosexuality, not this. "Uh..." He blinked, not quite sure he really understood what it was the other two wanted exactly. "Well... you look pretty funny, actually," he finally said. "Here's this really pretty athletic girl and next to her's this awkward bookworm. As if that wasn't weird enough, you two are the cheesiest thing this planet's ever seen. I honestly don't understand how you can pretend to like girls so well," he finished with a rather puzzled look on his face.

Vianna's jaw dropped at her brother's response. She wasn't sure whether to be offended and take it as an insult or actually believe him. "No-- really! He's not gay, Vince, answer seriously!" she said, sure her brother must have been kidding.

Ferris's polite smile disappeared into a slight frown as he listened to Vince's response. Pretty athletic girl next to an awkward bookworm....That's probably what stung most though he expected it, knowing it was true. His next statements brought him back to Earth though as he mentioned that they were the cheesiest thing the planet had seen and that he didn't understand how he could pretend to like girls. "I'm not gay!" Ferris defended himself soon after Vianna did, eyes wide. He rolled his eyes slightly, "Yes, now please, answer the question. Elaborate...What do you mean...cheesy?"

Vince laughed lightly as the other two took his words offensively and closed the magazine in his hands so he could focus his attention on them. "Alright, fine. You're not gay. You just really happen to like neon pink nail polish, I completely understand," he said with another laugh before Vianna got a hold of the nearest pillow and threw it at him. Vince raised an arm to shield himself from the hit and lowered it as the pillow bounced off the couch to the floor. "Alright, alright!" He looked off into space thoughtfully for a moment before returning his gaze to the other two. "Cheesy... to me, that means... that you're always doing all that nasty mushy stuff. Holding hands, smiling all the time, looking at each other like two little kids falling in love for the first time." He shuddered. "I've never seen anything like it except in Muggle movies. It's kind of creepy."

Ferris gave him a slight glare as Vince mentioned that he just liked wearing pink nail polish, which wasn't at all gay. He was rather amused as Vianna then through a pillow at him, glad he had a girlfriend to defend his sexuality, as he didn't feel like arguing with Vince right now. He listened intently as Vince told them that they were always doing that 'mushy' stuff, like holding hands and...'looking at each other like two little kids falling in love for the first time'. Brows slightly furrowed, Ferris gave him a nod, his face looking as though he was taking in information like a computer of some sort. "Right. Okay, thanks Vince," he muttered before sitting down in the nearest chair, obviously deep in thought. "That man must have noticed that we...'look at each other like we're falling in love for the first time'." He looked at Vince with slight disbelief on his face before looking back to Vianna. "C'mon, let's go," he said suddenly, taking her hand and leading her from the boys' room back through the hall to the girls' not wanting to have this conversation in front of Vince.

"Sure thing," replied Vince as Ferris thanked him for the information before returning his attention to the magazine in his hands and the tray of food waiting to be devoured beside him.

Vianna's features turned rather thoughtful as Ferris spoke, telling her that the man at the wand shop must have seen them like two little kids in love just like her brother had described. She nodded her head slightly, and before she knew it, she was being led back to the girls' room. Once there, the young girl proceeded to return to her spot on the rug, in front of the fireplace. "I don't know, I don't trust Vince's judgement too much," said Vianna absentmindedly. "He likes to joke around too much and anything that's not snogging is considered 'mushy' to him."

Ferris let out a small sigh as they returned to the room, taking a seat on the couch as Vianna sat on the floor. He listened as she mentioned that she didn't trust Vince's judgement, that the boy liked to joke too much and anything that's wasn't snogging was mushy to him. "Well, he seemed pretty dead on about a couple things," Ferris muttered with a weak chuckle, his mind back on that first thing Vince had said. Pretty athletic girl with a tall, awkward bookworm. He knew that Vianna had assured him a thousand times of his worth and things like that, but...it couldn't help but sting sometimes. Statements like that always brought him back to square one. Pretty girl, weird awkward kid below her standards, and he was back to that insecure boy with the curly hair, nose in a book on the first day of camp.

Vianna watched the fire absentmindedly as Ferris shared that Vince seemed to have gotten a couple of things quite right. She nodded her head slightly, agreeing that her brother had been right on things like, for example, their need to always hold hands and smile at each other. But she still didn't think that classified as 'cheesy'. She sighed softly to herself, turning quiet for a moment as she thought about this before glancing up at the boy sitting on the couch. She tilted her head slightly, reading the thoughtful expression on his face and smiled in amusement. She always found it rather cute when he turned thoughtful and analyzing. "What're you thinking about, Professor?" she asked him.

Ferris looked up from his thoughts as Vianna suddenly spoke, asking what he was thinking about. He let out a slow sigh, his brows furrowed just slightly as he leaned back into the couch cushions. His eyes wandered to a spot in the carpet before returning to her, "Your standards," he answered vaguely, letting out a small sympathetic smile. His eyes fell to the fireplace, hands folded protectively over his stomach.

Vianna frowned at Ferris's response, her features turning puzzled. "My standards?" she asked, chuckling softly. "I don't think... I understand," she said slowly, still trying to make sense of the short response in her head. But nothing came to mind. Though now that she really looked at the boy sitting on the couch, the amusement that had lit her eyes was slowly beginning to fade. Something wasn't right about those furrowed brows and that sympathetic smile, and the girl couldn't help but trace the night events back to just a couple of minutes ago when they had been with her brother.

Ferris looked back to her as she repeated what he said, obviously confused, and his suspicions were confirmed as she told him she didn't understand what he was getting at. He thought for a moment, "Vi....He's right. He's so right, and I've been so blind to it all," he admitted to her, eyes searching her face for a reaction. "When I'm around you...I feel like....Like I'm not that awkward, tall bookworm that I've been reluctantly for the past seventeen years. A-And it makes me forget how really different we are. How gorgeous you are..." he trailed off for a moment, looking away. He didn't want to sound like a mush once more, or make her feel awkward, but he had to let her know what he was thinking about. "I forget how much better you can do...Until I hear stuff like that, and it pushes me back into reality. Vianna, don't you get it? Don't you understand how much better you could really do? You could be with someone...Up to your standards. You don't have to settle for me, you do know that, don't you?"

Vianna listened as Ferris started and cringed slightly at his very first words. That 'he' could only be one person - her so very well-spoken and kind older brother. She listened quietly as he expressed his thoughts and frustrations to her, and the girl's crystal blue eyes widened at the words. Once he was done, she stared at him blankly for a second before reacting. The girl got up to her feet and proceeded to take a seat beside Ferris on the couch. "I do know that," she said in response to his very last question. "But I want to settle for you, you need to understand that. I don't care that you're a bookworm or that my stupid brother thinks you're awkward. It's precisely those things that attracted me to you in the first place," she told him, watching him for a moment before letting her gaze wander over to the fire and she rested her head on his shoulder. "My 'standards' ask for a tall, pale guy who reads as much as he breathes, gets me pet squirrels, shares marshmallows with me, makes me feel like I'm on top of the world, and most importantly... doesn't listen to the things my airhead of a brother has to say."

Ferris watched as Vianna walked over to the couch, taking the seat next to him and explaining to him that he was the one she wanted to settle for. Brows still slightly furrowed and brown eyes hesitant, he watched as she continued to tell him that she didn't care that he was a bookworm or her brother though he was awkward, as those were the things that attracted her to him in the first place. Body tense and expression cautious as he felt her head on his shoulder, he listened as she finished, telling him what her real standards were, that they were for a guy like him and he couldn't help but be amazed at the girl before him. More hesitant than anything, Ferris slowly wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into him in a warm embrace. He had no words, no proper response to tell her how much her words meant to him, and so his lips met hers in one of the most passion driven kisses he had ever given the girl.

Vianna smiled to herself as she felt Ferris's arms wrap around her and she curled up slightly beside him on instinct. She could feel the hesitation in his body language but decided the best way to let the boy's nerves calm was by giving him time to see that he wouldn't be rejected, not this night or any of the following days. But she was snapped out of her thoughts as she felt his lips meet hers in a way they had never done before. The girl was rather caught off-guard at first and her eyes widened in surprise before closing on instinct and kissing the boy back softly.
