Summer Mum Hunt Summer 2071 :: With rich 'parents' and a life any person could have wished for, Lorelai Bristol has just read the address that could destroy all of that, all of her dreams of staying like this. Her birth mother. After months of hunting, months of letter sending and months of false hope, there sits the journey between what her life could have been like, if Dakota Bridges had not given up her baby daughter 16 years previous, on a december night. Through support from her best friends Gold Laksh and Brody Summers, and then her boyfriend Adam Stemp; Lorelai decided that she would go and visit her mum. Just to see, just to stop all thoughts, pity her adoptive parents weren't so helpful. Neither did they want the visit to go ahead. This is a closed RP, please do not post asking to join. Characters : Lorelai Bristol : midget ♥ Dakota Bridges (+the Bridges family) : midget ♥ Adam Stemp : Harron Peasley Quote:

The sixteen year old brunette ran a finger down a page of the muggle address book she was reading through and then frowned. Nothing on this page. Flipping the page, her finger did the same, until it stopped mid-way down. "Ad?" Her voice shook as she called her boyfriend from wherever he was in his place, and then laughed nervously. "I.. I've found her... I'VE FOUND HER! I FOUND MY MUUUM!" She laughed again, and quickly noted down the address on a bit of paper, before dashing off to get out of her pyjamas. ------ An hour later, matching clothes bag and shoes sorted, Lori grinned over at her boyfriend and grabbed his hand. "You're driving. Lets go!" She giggled before loosing his hand and bouncing about a bit. |
Hearing someone call hs name Adam's half open eyes fluttered open some more as he dumped the bread into the toaster. The appliance was sooo Muggle, and his father would have killed him if he knew he used it. But it was sooo much easier, even if he could use magic now. The toast popping up roused him better than Lori's mutter, but it was her shout as he bit into his toast that had him completely awake. Dropping it, his socked feet flip-flopped on the floor, and he ran to her side. "You did? That's, great!" he laughed with her, although he couldn't place his finger on what he found funny. ____ An hour later, Adam (who'd been ready for AT least half an hour) leaped up from the couch he'd been reading on. Yeah, he'd been reading, and he shoved the Muggle crime book under the cushion before grabbing his wand from the table and joining her at the door. Squeezing her hand back, he laughed. "Seeing as your not old enough, and haven't got a car, I guess I am," he grinned, before leaving through the door of the apartment. |
Lori grinned and then stuck her tongue out at him, "You wait till I can drive, I'll be a better driver than you, and you'll be asking ME to drive you places." She grinned at him and followed him out of the apartment. "You'll have to hide your wand when we get there, I have no idea if she's a witch or not... She could be anything, alien infact." Lori joked, because there was no way SHE was the child of an alien, there was nothing alien about her. Nope, all human. Just a witch too. Hehe. Once they were down by his car, Lori handed him the bit of paper with the address on and leant up and kissed his cheek. "You don't have to take me, I can get a train or something..." |
Locking the door behind him, Adam thought about how weird it was that he had his own place, that he could drive! Okay, so he had put a spell on the instructer who'd been testing him, but he wasn't really gonna pass fairly now, was he? And he was pureblood, so that was kinda weird as well. But then again, he did love football, and it had been his idea for Lawson to start a Muggle Studies club. Aha, the world was turning upside down. "Nah, you'll never be a better driver than me!" Adam laughed, walking towards his slightly beat-up second hand car. "However, you will probably have a nicer car than me, so maybe I'll ust ask to borrow your keys, eh?" Tucking his wand into the pocket of his jeans and letting his hoodie drop over it, concealing it, Adam grinned. "Ah, she probably is an alien, Lor," he began quite seriously. "Because you, well, you're outta this world." He finished with a wink, the stupid chat up line playing in his head. Taking the address from her, Adam turned his head so her kiss on the cheek caught his lips. Pulling away from her, he smiled. "I'm up for a little journey Lor," he said, before moving 'round to the drivers side of the car. "Besides, you don't think I'd let you go alone!?" Glancing down at the address, he felt thankful to the built-in SatNav, although Lori would have to help him figure out how to use it. All he knew was 'Bristol'. "You up for a two hour car ride?" he said, thinking of the distance between Liverpool and Bristol. |
Shaking her head in disbelief, Lori stuck her tongue out at him, before replying with: "No, i'm the better driver, will be... the better driver. That is all." She grinned at him, and span round before imitating driving a car, well just steering the steering wheel. See? She waaas an amazing driver, formula 1 just hadn't picked her up yet. Hehe. "Aww, I can get you a fancy car if you really want one Ad. Even though I do love your car." It was cosy. And easy to nap in, which was good, because she was intending to nap on the way home from this visit. She looked at him, wideeyed when he said Dakota must have been an alien, and then laughed at his corny cheesy statement next. "I know I'm outta this world, really, but you, my knight in shining armour, are out of this world, and way too good for me." She smiled up at him, quickly, before poking at his cheek. Heh. "Cheeky!" She laughed at him, after she pulled away from the kiss and watching him head round the other side of the car. "I could manage on my own, I just don't think I'd come back in one piece." And that would NOT be good. Nope. NOOOO GOOD. Two hour car journey? Heck, she had had to do that to get here from home, so she hadn't minded. "I can manage two hours." Just tw hours with him, was even better. |
Poking his tongue back out at Lori, Adam laughed at her car impression and shook his head. "See, even on an imaginary car you're doing it wrong. The steering wheel isn't that small," he managed, chuckling. Of course, it was all pretend. And Lori probably would be a good driver. Next year. When she could take her test. Shaking his head, he couldn't even let her think what she said next. "Ahh, no you couldn't. Because I wouldn't let you," he smirked, poking his tongue out again. Besides, he kinda agreed with her. He did love this car, the beat-up-ness and everything. It was nice, nothing to flash. Not to easy to rob. "Armour? You ever tried armour on? Belive me, it's not comfortable," he couldn't help but laugh, thinking about the one and only school play he'd even been in. And although her next statement was nice, he waved it away. "Don't lie. I'll never be as good as you. Evereverevereverever. Exactly. And that wouldn't be managing, would it?" he continued, bending down to scramble into the drivers seat. Placeing one hand on the wheel, he handed the address back to Lorelai. "Now, you figure out how to work that," he said, inclining his head towards the SatNav. "And you can do more than manage. You'll have me for company." |
Scowling over at him, Lori widened her arms raising an eyebrow at him. "Happy now, mr perfect sized bloody steering wheel?" She grinned after, and opened the car door, placing her bag in, while talking to him over the top of the car. "I could and I will. In the future, when this thing decides to die on you. Then i'll get you one, and we can live in our castle and stuff." She grinned, pretending to put a crown on her head, and spinning round like a princess at a ball. "Armour is for boooooys, not girls Adam Stemp, I do not intend on wearing armour, my knight should be wearing it. Not me." And her knight was he, so he had better invest in some armour. Hehe. Raising an eyebrow swiftly at his next comment she shook her head, "I think you'll find that's the other way around hun, you're way too good for me. Waaaay outta my league." Mmmmhmm. And her league was a biggg one. Almost swinging into the car, Lori shut the door and fastened her seatbelt, looking over at him. "Maybe not managing, but I could do it, you'd just have to meet me at the hospital." She smirked and reached a hand up to ruffle at his hair. Taking the address paper, Lori laughed, and pressed a few buttons before typing in the address on the sat nav. "You need to learn how to work this, I wont be here all summer, I'm staying at Goldie's, Brody's and moving my stuff out of mine slowly." Yeah, and then probably moving it into storage until the following summer when she was totally moving out. For real. Turning her head to look at him, as she sat back in her chair and giggled. "There..." |
Pretending to be looking closely at her arms, Adam shook his head solomly. "I'm afraid not, Miss," he said. "That's a little too big." Chuckling a little bit, Adam began to shake his head again. "Nope, you can't and you wont. Besides, this aint gonna die on me for a looooonnng while yet Lor," he finished, rapping his knuckles on the roof or the vehicle a few times. He laughed again at her pretending to be a princess-ness. "Hmmm, and how am I supposed to pay for this castle, eh?" "Me, out of your league?" he asked, stunned. She seriously couldn't think that. It was just outrageous, preposterous. "Nah, you got that one wrong love. You're outta my league. Simples. Case closed." She was a bloomin' nutter if she argued. He'd've said a right 'Twit' if they hadn't already established that months ago. Batting her hands away from his hair, Adam laughed as he watched her hit the buttons. "Ah well, I just won't travel when you've gone. Or maybe I will, and just get lost all of the time," he joked. Of course, he'd learn to use the stupid device eventually. But not now, not when he had someone who knew how to right next to him. Waiting for a moment for the SatNav to recognise the destination, Adam smiled over at Lori. She was so beautiful, he thought, and not for the first time. So wonderful and perfect, and all his! The beeping voice of the SatNav interrupted his thoughts, and he plunged the keys into the ignition, before pulling away, slightly haphazardly, from the kerb. "And we're off...." |
Quote:
Lori giggled again and frowned at him. "In that sense, I am out of your league. But I like to think of it the other way round I couldn't picture this whole year properly without you in it.... " It was complete with him in it. Completely complete. "You can't be getting lost, otherwise I'm gonna have to get Ty and Lucy to come stay while I'm not here, and teach them how to use it. You can't be a hermit either." Because that was just for losers. "Your satnav has a stupid voice." Lori commented, as she pulled out a magazine and started to flick through pages. |
"Maybe I'll stick to my own then," Adam laughed, winking over at his girlfriend. Watching her look over the car with a keen eye, his own eyes wandered over it too, trying to see what she was seeing. The fault that would make this car last a millio-seven years?! Pffffthh. "Nah, I'd say at least eleven," he stressed with a laugh. "And I love you, so that's why you're not buying me one." And that was final. If she argued... well, he might just have to tickle her, or something. Thinking of her as a Healer, Adam grinned, just because he could see it. "I didn't know you wanted to be a Healer," he said, although he realised she'd be a great one. His grin softening into a smile as she changed 'the' to 'our', Adam was glad she thought that way. And he thought the same way. He didn't plan on them separating any time soon. Orrr anytime later. Finally! She was admitting that she was outta his league! But what she said next made him smile even more, and he just nodded. Because in all truth, he felt the same way, but just couldn't bring himself to say it out loud, to find the right words. He hoped she saw that in his eyes, as their gazes locked for a moment, before turning to concentrate on the road ahead of him. "Ah, I was planning on asking them to stay anyways, so no worries," he grinned, thinking that's he'd already asked Tyler, and asked him to ask Lucy ('cuz he hadn't seen her). "And I won't be a hermit." Never never never ever ever. "Don't they all?" he commented, thinking that this was the first one he'd ever seen. Pulling onto the motorway as instructed, he realised that it was getting on his nerves now, but he fought the urge to pull out his wand and blast it to smitthereens. |
Lori laughed shaking her head, "You'll want to get in my car, I mean, i'll be in it." She smirked, before looking up at the sky quickly and beaming at the fact the sky was pure blue, and there were no clouds in sight. Such a beautiful day here. Taking a moment to breathe in the nice summer air, she then looked down at him and sighed. "ELEVEN? False hope Ad, false hopppppeeeeee. Seven years max." And by then he would have enough money to get a new one, as long as he got a job and saved up and all that other yacky not-Lori stuff. "I love you more, so I can buy you one, and I shall. And you can't stop me." Not even if he threatened to dump her. Okay, well maaaaaybe that would be able to stop her. As she watched him, she caught him look back at her, and she giggled at the fact he had looked at her, and then sighed softly. "Keep your eyes on the roaaaad! You can't crash, I'm too pretty to die, my insurance company would NOT appreciate me dying." She grinned at him, and stuck her tongue out. Obviously she was joking, although her shoes were insured, as was her life too. "Good. I haven't seen them since... forever. I can't remember properly when, but I haven't for a while. They're coming on holiday with us next year. You're automatically coming, Because I said so, and I think i'd get bored without you being there." Yeeeeah, bored. Without having someone to look at. Although Torin waas gonna be there. But Ad waaaas hotter. "You WILL be a hermit. YES." Giggle. "Obviously, and most of the bloody voices are women. It's derogatory to us, we do NOT have that bad voices. Mine isn't THAT annoying. Listen: Turn left in 20 gazillion yards. See?" |
Pretending to think about it, Adam shook his head slowly and dramaticly. "Aww, Lori! You'd just have to get out of the car! You couldn't torture me like that!" he said solomly, before laughing a little. "And yes, eleven. Maybe it could even stretch to thirteen," he said firmly. But he was still kinda chuckling. "Besides, I'll probably have saved up enought money for a nicer car by then." Shaking his head as he continued to grin, Adam couldn't belive what Lori was hearing. "Nah, Lor. I deffo love you morerer. And you know it," he said, and of course it was true. She just couldn't deny that. Watching the road, Adam chanced a quick look at Lori and winked before looking back out of the windscreen. "I think I'd apreciate it much less than any insurance company," he said. And it was the truth. So his eyes where staying glued to the road, because he'd couldn't stand the thought of Lorelai dying. "Because then, I'd be out of a girlfriend, and your parents would probably get me locked up or something." "I haven't seen them for ages, really. But yeah, last time I saw Ty, I asked him if they both wanted to come," Adam agreed with a nod. He hadn't really seen anyone for a while, but he was going to go to Diagon Alley soon, and hopefully bump into everyone there. But Holiday!? "Ooooh, really? Where are we going?!" he asked, excited. He'd have to give Lor some money for it, but he wasn't gonna miss it for the world. "But you wouldn't get bored. Not if Ty and Luce are there." Although it was nice to hear that that was how much she wanted him there. He'd never thought about it like that, probably because this was the only SatNav he'd ever had. "No, your voice is actually quite nice to listen too," Adam said with a laugh, after turning left. |

Flicking a few more pages to the fashion pages, she shot a glance over at him and laughed again. "Oh, I think the insurance company would kick themselves, I mean ..... I'm worth alot." Yes, a very big lot. The brunette shook her head at his next statement and sighed. "My parents wouldn't care I don't think ... It's like they'd get more room." She shrugged and then reverted back to looking at her magazine. "Well then, we'll have to make sure next term we see each other alot, because it's kiiinda your meant to be last term. But I'm happy it's not." Which was good, because she was NOT loosing him to graduation, no. He was hers, hers forever and ever. Grinning at his reaction to the thought of a holiday, she answered. "Dominican Republic, i'm paying, we're gonna stay in my villa, the one I kiiinda brought..." Yeah, kinda, because it was in Jake's name, with his permission, without Alicia knowing. It worked. "There's ten people going, I know seven of them... I need to find three more people." She shrugged, she had a whole year to figure it out, so it was okay. Giggling, Lori clapped her hands. "I do have a nice voice. You have a better one though.,.." |

"This car, will last for as long as I want it too!" he said proudly, matter-of-factly. He laughed when she told him to shut up, and even though she was the one who'd brought the actual topic up, kept his mouth closed. By the time the car died, he'd have enough money to buy a new one, so why were they worrying about it, arguing? If anyone else had said that to him, Adam would've been offended. Of course he should be loved more than a shoe collection! But coming from Lori, it was high praise indeed! "Yeah, but I still love you morerer! More than anyone before, more than everything!" Yeah, including his guitar and football. "Soo shushhh!" Ahh, that insurance company was no competition for him! "Kick themselves?" he said. "I might have to kill myself. Can't imagine life without you now. You're worth a lot more to me than any insurance company." Of course, sentimentially. Not moneywise. But still. To Adam,Lori was worth a LOT! "And I'm happy too," Adam grinned. Because then they could graduate together. 'Cuz he wasn't leaving her for nothing. No. Thing. At. All. Hrrmfff. "Hmm, I'll have to put some money towards it..." he added uncertainly. For the flight and all that. If it was a villa, then not for the accomodation. :xd: "Well, we all know that," Adam said with a laugh. Joking, of course. Loris voice was lovely. And he leant over and flicked on the radio, a Boy's Like Girls song flitted on. Conicidentially appropriate. "You're voice, was the soundtrack of my summer. Do you know you're unlike any other? Yo'll always be my thunder..." |
few more posts and we'll have them get there? Quote:
Scoffing, Lori shot a look over at him. “But you don’t want it to last thaaaat long do you? What you really want, deep deeeeeeep down in that big heart of yours, you want that car I’m gonna buy you. End of discussion.” She grinned to herself, and then looked down at her nails, ekkk, they needed a different colour, maybe purple. Or yellow, or orange. Or something bright and illuminous. Yes. That. A laugh rang out from her, and she shook her head. “I still love you more, so shush! Deal with it, Adam. I love you waaaaay more than you love me. Because you’re my everything.” Yeah, and now that was said, and she was blushing it was the end of the conversation again, and she was back to skimming through the fashion pages. How awkward. “Who wouldn’t be happy? Spending an extra year with me, is like a dream come true for everybody, and anyways, it means you’re mine for an extra year, and I don’t have to worry about you being in the big world with Athlon out there. She hit at his arm at his next statement and frowned. “You’re not paying anything. I’m paying for it, end of. Can I not treat my friends and boyfriend?” Obviously notttt. Lori laughed lightly and nodded, “My voice isn’t annoying either, like mrs Turn Somewhere in However Many Miles.” She was annoying, her voice was annoying Lori already, and now, Adam had put the radio on. “Make sure you listen to the satnav lady aswell.” |
Sureeee (: Quote:
And no, he wouldn't really do that. One, she wasn't boring, and two, he didn't want either of them to die. Her even less than him. So yeah, he wouldn't really fall asleep and let them crash. But the 'warning' was something he couldn't resist. "Well, no not realllly," Adam said uncertainly. He laughed though. "No, because the car you're NOT going to buy me shall be one I save up for!" he added, his laughter continuing. Aww, he loved his Lor soo much. Yes, HIS Lor. Because she was his, and he was hers, and they were together now, and that was all that mattered. Turnign as they stopped for a moment at traffic lights, Adam caugh Lorelai's blush before she hid her head back in her magazine. "But you know I cant deal with that! Because I know that I love you more. Because you are more than my everything." Adn now they both sounded soppy, whatever he'd told Nancy. But yeah. He blushed a little bit as well, turning as the lights switched to green. Hmm, hoping this was over now... "Well, of course. And I couldn't trust all of the lads if I was gone. You're to amazing to resist Lor, who'd be to know who's throw themselves at you, on the off chance I wasn't there," he said. And it was true. Because although he trusted Lori, it was other guys he didn't trust. Other guys who would obviously like Lori, because well, she was so amazing, and beautiful. "Fine." he grumbled. At least he was getting a holiday out of that though. That kept the grin on his face. "Of course your voice isn't annoying. So you think I'd be sitting in this car with you if it was? Then I'd have two annoying women with me. Urgghhh," Adam said jokingly. He laughed a bit, turning the radio down a notch as he turned right. "I can still hear her." |
going away, see you tuesday ♥ feel free to have them arrive in your next post. Quote:
Eh. Giving his arm yet another swat with her hand, she rolled her eyes. “Fine. You just waaaaait till you turn 18, or 20. Depends when I can be bothered to go car shopping.” Probably for his twentieth, because then she’d be buying herself another car. A pretty car, prettier than her first. Or maybe, she’d just keep her first, she didn’t know. Would she ever be sure? Nope. Because her pink convertible was going to be VERY pretty. Hehe. Flicking the page to the summer dress section, Lorelai didn’t dare look over at him. “Sappy git.” She laughed, and flicked the page once more before opening her bag and pulling out a lollipop. Whaaaaat? She was hungry. And she’d been too busy to eat this morning. Anyway, lollipop’s were extremely nice. Her brown eyes fell on him as he said she was too amazing to resist, and she grinned, but laughed too. “I think you’re mistaken, Ad. How many people do you see even trying to fall at my feet ever? None. It’s YOU I worry about. Just think, if you were in Torin’s year, and had to graduate next summer, I don’t think I’d be able to come back for my own seventh year, I don’t think I’d cope with letters and Hogsmeade weekends.” Because even they wouldn’t be enough. At him giving in about the holiday she grinned, and clapped her hands, biting a chunk off her lollipop, and then throwing the stick out of the window. Yepppp, litterbug. Her mouth formed an ‘o’ shape, and she swatted his arm, once more. “You wouuuld be in this car, you know. Otherwise, I’d have to go an find some other poor soul to take me, and then I’d be staying in their apartment. And thinking of a future with them. Not you. So you would.” She giggled, and then clapped her hands again as he turned the radio down a bit. “Hello mrs annoying voice. How are you today?” Hehe. |
Miss youuuu ♥ Quote:
"Have to be twenty," he said. Because he was eighteen in less than a year, and he didn't want a car then. Because that would just be a waste of the one he'd only just got. And his mum and dad wouldn't be happy. "Or maybe 25, or something like that...." Yeah. 'Cuz this car was going to last a looooong time. Just to tell Lor that HE was right. Yes. "Yeah but that's only because you wont let them, and I wont let them," Adam began hesitantly. "But if I go...." he trailed off. Who knew what would happen? He wouldn't be around, so no-onew would ever see the two of them together. Then people would definately be falling at Lorelai's feet. She was just too blind to see it. "You would be able to cope Lori. I'm sure you would, you underestimate yourself. Buuuuuuttt let's not think about that, because thankfully I am coming back next year." And they didn't need to think about him not coming back, because it wasn't happening. Laughing a bit, Adam followed Mrs. Annoying's direction to turn left, and he entered a street. After passing about ten house's on each side, Mrs. Annoying told him to stop, and he pulled the car onto the kerb and braked. "So, this is the place?" he said, looking out of the window at the house and reaching over the seat to take Lori's hand. |
i missed you tooooooo <3 Quote:
"Fine, twenty it is." She nodded and she swatted his arm again, for good measure, "You said twenty, twenty it is." And twenty it was going to be. Hehe. She was going to let him go on now, he just didnt. Which didn't surprise her, but it did also. Weird. Never mind. Adam was probably thinking, her tended to do that alot. In her company anyways, hhe had never seen him in others company, not by choice anyway. She just preferred to be alone with him. "Yeah, thankfully you are." She agreed, and then fell silent as they passed a sign that took them into Bristol. She shut her eyes from that point, and only opened them as the car stopp and he took her hand. "I... I guess it must be, right? Satnav lady said it was." |
Sorry its soo late  Quote:
"Yes, you are by far too beautiful to be killed," Adam nodded a few times. But he had no hesitation in agreeing with her, it was very true. She was the prettiest girl he knew, and that was 'nough said. Just like he was too handsome to die, but he wasn't going to say that. She'd probably call him bigheaded, and go off in a huff. And he didn't want that to happen. Not at all. Yes, twenty it was, and by that time Lori was hopefully going to have forgotten about it all. So it'd be more like.... twenty-seven. Or eight. Depending on when Adam could be bothered going car shopping. Instead of arguing, though, he just nodded, and took his turn to poke his tongue out. So this was what SatNav lady said, and Adam reached over his free hand to shut her off. Then he shoved the keys into his pocket and clicked his seatbelt. "You don't have to do this, you know," he muttered softly. "It's not too late to turn back...." |
Quote:
After the car had came to a stop, Lori just stared up at the ... house. If you could call it anything like that. It was a mess. Rubbish piled up outside, no doubt some of it months old. And by what she was expecting, it was probably home to other kids, considering there were kids toys strewn all over the path. Adam's voice broke through her assessment of the place, and she looked over at him and shook her head. "I have to ... I mean, if I dont, i'll always wonder what it was like.. What she was like.." |
Quote:
Then he felt a little sorry he'd thought like that. A little bit sorry for the people who lived here. For Lori's family, brothers, sisters. It was obvious other kids were homed here, for the toys strewn outside was a big give away. But toys that looked a little uncared for, unloved. Like Lori? Had that been why her mum have given her away> Or had it genuinly been because she couldn't cope? Had Lori been her first, second, her last? Adam wasn't sure he was happy with Lori finding out, because it might just make her sadder than she was. But she was right. No one could hold her back now, and if they did... she'd always be confused. "Alright," he said after a moment, nodding. Giving her hand one last squeeze, he let go rather reluctantly, before getting out of the car, shutting the door and going over to her side to open hers. He clutched his wand inside his pocket. He wasn't going to get it out, because if she wasn't a witch... |
Quote:
Once her door was opened, she clambered out and then shut the door herself before heading in the direction of the door, walking down the path. Past the garden that needed weeding, past plants that needed watering, past a life she could have been living. And then ... she knocked on the door, her hand immediately returning to her side, her other arm protectively on her bag handle. There was a door knock. Great, it was probably the council again. Dakota Bridges looked around her living room and slmost laughed. The council wouldn't take this place away from her, not with seven kids, and they wouldn't put any of them in care, because they were all too troublesome. There were toys everywhere, paper plates because crockery ones were useless and broke, plastic cups, dirt, mould, sleeping bags and the six children, all under ten years of age. She placed a finger on her lips to indicate the children needed to be quiet, but kids these days? Well they didn't care, were they really going to just listen to her while she told to be quiet? She had never had control over them. The brunette got up, adjusted her denim skirt, and ran a finger through her hair, her greasy unwashed for days hair, and headed for the door, opening it and rolling her eyes. "So the council send kids round now do they? Well you aint having my house, and you aint having my kids, so bugger off okay?" |
Quote:
A moment later the door was opened to reveal a surprisingly young woman, who looked rather forlorn and like she hadn't washed for days. The house looked in need of a bit of a clean as well, but Adam didn't say anything. He felt a wave of pity sweep over him, for this woman he didn't even know, who was living here. And Lori could've been living here, if things had been .... different. Adam wasn't sure how he felt. When the woman spoke, he squeezed his girlfriends hand tightly, but didn't speak at first. She thought they where the waddyacallits? Bailiffs? Yeah, the council peoples anyways. "One, I'm legally an adult," as soon as Adam said that, he regretted it. He didn't know if she was a Muggle or not! Oh well, time to pretend that he was eighteen. "And two... we ain't here for that." |
