Unlike the chilly weather outside, Ollivanders is nice and warm inside. An open space to the side holds a pen full of Siberian Husky puppies who are happily awaiting to be played with or taking this chance to have a quick puppy nap. Black, brown, or red in color, these puppies are bursting with personality and need for attention. Tails wagging, tongues sticking out, perhaps some drool here and there, they'll be happy to see anyone who comes by while their parents, Dino and LuLu, sit watchful close by.

If there are any questions, Bryce is there ready to answer.

Fletcher couldn't BELIEVE that after that whole 'the puppy bit me!' thing at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, Mallory STILL wanted to go check out the free puppies at Ollivander's. Really? Really? It was like the almost three-year-old had no short term memory, or something...

Regardless, Fletcher carried her and their shopping bags into the store and set her down as soon as he spotted the puppy pen. He knelt down to toddler level to give her a talking to before she ran loose, however.

"Listen now, Mal... you've got to be good around these puppies, okay? They're tryin' to find homes for them all and you don't need to go around biting each one to make sure they're real. Also, no biting the other kids or adults. Got it?"

He waited for the mischievous little girl to nod, and then patted her head and straightened up. "Have at it then, kiddo." Fletcher would go... hover over by the pretty lady in the skinny jeans, for now. Heh.

Mallory of course ran straight for the nearest puppy and launched onto him to give him a squeeze. "GOGGGGGGGY SOFTY!!!!!!!!!!!"

Destiny was a man on a mission.

Well, a WOman on a mission, but those little details were not important at the moment. What was important, though, was the flyer with the running dog that she held in her hand. The same flyer with the running dog that had flown right into her face as she was making her way down the street and had temporarily BLINDED her. That was the scariest five seconds of her life, and that was saying something.

She didn't even care that she was going to be somewhat a lot late for work, but this was important. There were free PUPPIES being given away. Free puppies that she just had to see. Free puppies that were taking away business from the Magical Menagerie!

How would the Ollivander's worker guy dude like it if she just started giving away free wands!? Her point exactly.

With a determined look already plastered across her face, which probably didn't look all that determined, Destiny pushed her way into the wand shop and immediately sought out the owner. Of course, she was just a little distracted by all the PUPPIES and all the BABIES and Sweet Merlin, was that ~~Raccoon Girl~~ Arya!? Sweet Merlin, it was! "WHO!" she pointed at ~~her~~ the former ~~enemy~~ Hufflepuff to get her attention before pointing at the little girl she was with. "Is that!?" Her daughter!?

He quickly swallowed, eyes watering up due to the fact he hadn't chewed. "I'm sorry...yes?"

Toting the toddler, she entered the shop not surprised by the amount of people already here, but definitely caught off guard at how much more squirmy Genny got when the puppies were spotted. But his reaction would most likely be priceless. Heh.

Bryce kept chewing on his sandwich, looking from new person to the toddler and then to the puppies. Hmm, yes. Stare.

That made him feel SO much better. Someone who already had a siberian husky, or any dog for that matter, was a better fit in his opinion. Both Dino and LuLu leaned forward to lick the girl's hand, happy to get a little attention from someone in the shop.

"Of course." Bryce nodded. In fact...he might hold one of them. ~~And sneak it away.~~

It was the girl who worked at the menagerie! Bryce peaked over the counter, eyes and forehead visible.

What was SHE doing here?

Elizabeth's smile widen, "Thank you." She nodded to the person, "Have a good day." She pet the puppy in her husband's arms. To her husband, "The kids would adore having a puppy wont they? What shall we name her?" She laughed.

"Oh, it's no problem..." She gave her usual kindhearted smile, "I'm actually quite use to that sort of thing, I have three five year olds at home, and a rather childish husband." She shook her head, "But Robin, my husband, has been wanting a pup for sometime and his birthday's coming up." She knelt beside the small black one she absolutely loved, "So I was wondering if this little sweetheart costs anything."

Arya wasn't even stopping Genny from sticking her fingers through the bars to touch the remainder pups after they'd reached the pen. It was a lost cause, right? And alllllllll the other babies around were doing it.

And she was doing it TOO. Heh.

The young woman had taken an instant liking to the husky pup attempting to make a break from the pen. Gently prying him from the bars he was climbing, she held him close and crouched down so that Genny could cuddle him too. Or at least attempt to, he was a wiggly one too but the toddler seemed determined to get snuggles from him.

Did he have a name already? Arya looked around for the shopkeeper but stopped short when she heard a familiar voice.

And it was a voice she couldn't forget even if she did ~~still~~ want to. She looked up at Destiny, then back to Genny, who was still fussing with the puppy in her arms. It was almost tempting to make her guess, but that could take forever and they didn't have time like that. They still had a trip to the zoo! "She is Genny Tate." A bit of shifting and she was sitting with the puppy and toddler both. "I'm babysitting." So she could stop looking so.. shocked.

Arya gave up trying to get any cuddles from the puppy and let Genny have all of him. They were cuter together anyway and seemed to be getting along well enough. "You here for a puppy? I think you're late..."

Benjy beamed. "Very nice to meet you Mr. McLaughlin." He said before glancing back at the puppy. He couldn't wait to get home and get the pup settled. It would be the perfect present for his girl. As long as she liked dogs. Either way he would be keeping the puppy.

"Absolutely. This pup will be the center of my attention." Especially when it was still a puppy. "Thank you very much.... I'll make sure to bring 'em by when I'm in the DA again."

Mallory was being REAL good with the ~~goggie~~ puppy. She wasn't biting it a bit, just doing a bit of squishing and squeeing and being licked in return. Hehe.

"Daddy," she looked up at Fletcher with her best, biggest baby-doll look, "Can we keep him? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASE?"

Awww, wow. How was Fletcher ever supposed to say no to that face? She'd even been behaving GOOD and wasn't biting the puppy or anything! "I'll uh, I'll ask, honey," he promised, turning around to look for the shopkeeper. Huh, it was probably that guy over there, the one with the sandwich!

"Dude," he called out with a man-nod, "are any of the free puppies still free? Like for the taking?" Cuz he wanted one tooooooooo.

She had SEEN him! Destiny saw him, and she was none too amused at the fact that the Ollivanders wand dude was ~~COUNTING INVENTORY~~ HIDING. ~~Counting inventory~~ Hiding behind the counter like.. he was in some sort of trouble! Which he was, but right now she had more important things to worry about.

Perhaps if he made her a sandwich, she would forget he even had puppies in his shop. She wouldn't forget that he was just giving them away for free, though!

I don't think I'd get to keep her anymore if she ran off..." Cause they're be no child to keep, see? Destiny was still getting puzzled glances from the uni student.

"What business? Are you selling puppies or something?" More puzzled looks that were interrupted with glances at the toddler and puppy. They were cute. Especially HIM. She already had Wildflower at home, but... another puppy couldn't hurt right? "And you're really late to stop him, half are already gone."
