It is the summer of 1978, the Marauders have just Graduated from Hogwarts to explore the world ahead of them except for it to be dark and terrible times where Voldemort first rises to power…. Where a dementor’s attack was most welcomed by a Marauder yet feared by the wizarding society! Some become heroes some become traitors, everything’s in chaos and a wise man creates “The Order of The Phoenix”.
The famous and the unknown, some stories were told others to be written, but can one deviate fate?
It was a cloudy late June Sunday morning, an Order meeting was called to discuss their agenda and everyone was arriving by 5 am at Edgar Bones's place right off Earlsfield Rd. in London.
The house looked like any other house in the street, white-bricked with a red roof and overlooking a park, except you wouldn't be able to see it unless you were given the password by the Order's secret-keeper.

Personality: Emmeline was a very studious child. Though her friends did try to pull her away for some mischief. She did very little but she appreciated the gesture. She takes magic very serious and does mess about with it. Sometimes she thinks about the silly tricks her mother used to play and it brings tears to her eyes but then she shakes herself and puts her mind back to the task at hand. She does allow herself a small measure of fancifulness with her choice in socks. They are always colorful with lots of patterns. She hates wearing her hair pinned up.
History: Emmeline's mother was a dreamer and a charmer. She lived to run through the meadows and pick wildflowers. Her father on the other hand was a structured muggle banker. He didn't care much for the frivolous lifestyle his wife wanted to lead. They constantly fought until her mother packed herself and Emmeline up and moved out. Leaving her husband meant leaving the lifestyle they had become accustomed to.
Her mother worked odd jobs here and there but for the most part she made her money making potions for other people. She was a masterful potionmaker. Emmeline resented this and blamed her mother's eccentric ways for the breakup of the family. Her and her mother grew apart because of this. Getting her Hogwarts letter was a welcomed surprise for both mother and daughter. Emmeline threw herself into Hogwarts and forgot all about her mother. She found solace in her friends and their families. After graduation she saw her mother for the last time before the Death Eaters killed her as she attempted to stop them from attacking a group of muggles at the park. Emmeline was an Order member the next week.
Appearance: Emmeline is a rather tall witch standing at 5 ft 8 inches tall. She has a dark curtain of thick brown hair. The darkness of her hair gives the her skin the illusion of being paler than it really is and her dark flashing brown eyes don't help the matter.

With the smallest of pops Emmeline stood before the Bone's door. She was weary she was taking on more work than she should, but that didn't matter to her. When Emmeline Vance was given a job it got done. Her brown hair swirled around her face int eh slight breeze, but she didn't care. It was just something about pulling her hair tight to put it into a ponytail that made her want to cringe.
Her thin hand grasped the door handle and pushed open the door. The warmth that greeted her caused a smile to spread across her tired face. She shrugged off her cloak and hung it up before walking back into the house looking for someone. She smelled tea and that was always a good thing.

Five AM. They had to meet at five AM. The sun was not up yet and birds were still sleeping, Marlene felt confident that one or two of the young men *COUGH* Sirius and James *COUGH* probably took rolling out of bed and apparating over, without doing anything in between, quite literally. Not that she could blamed them if they had.. but she respected Dumbledore far too much to complain. The Order was an important group, their only hope for the future, really.
So five AM it was, she was dressed and ready to go, apparating herself into the frontyard of the Bones' household. Hidden beneath her cloak, blue eyes scanned over the neighborhood before she quickly took the steps up the porch, tapping her pale knuckles against the front door as she turned the knob with her other hand, "Knock knock," Marlene called out softly, letting herself inside.
Closing the door, the young woman lowered the scarlet hood from her pale blonde hair left down around her shoulders and followed the sound of voices down the hall. Greeting everyone, "Good morning." as she arrived in the kitchen, Marlene put on a small but warm smile.

Appearing quite suddenly on the front steps of the Bones place, Alice Longbottom climbed them quickly, her dark eyes sweeping from side to side. Though an abysmally odd hour for some to be gathering, she was perfectly at home; for the sessions that she had spent training as an Auror paid no heed to time or season.
She opened the door quickly and allowed herself inside, following the sound of voices. As she entered the kitchen, she allowed a brief smile to grace her face before speaking. "Hello, everyone."
Her eyes alighted on the tray of biscuits and the tea that had been set out on the table. Helping herself to them, she settled against a nearby wall, savoring the taste of warm food and hot tea.

Appearance:

General Appearance: Countless amounts of people have told Dorcas that she has the perfect build for a Seeker, if she ever decided to actually play the sport of Quidditch. This Meadowes girl is one that always tries to look her best when she’s in public. She has a neat and professional-like style that always includes some sort of accessory with it. In addition, whenever Dorcas goes out, she always does something different with her hair (don't ask her how many hours she spent in front of the mirror).
Personality: Like most people with Meadowes for a last name, Dorcas’ personality is rather bold. She is a girl that knows what she wants and she’ll do anything necessary to get her to the top, even if that means she has to sit in a desk at an extremely lame job to get there. Waiting is something that she is not good at, which she learned early in her education years. During her time at Hogwarts, she was an eager learner and a very bright student. Dorcas excelled in all of the classes she took but two: Divination and History of Magic. Even though she was devoted to doing well in her studies, she did not mind occasionally breaking the rules and causing a little bit of mischief.
History: Dorcas grew up in a good family and had quite a normal childhood for the most part. She was the only child of the family, which was something that she always hated. Several years after Dorcas’ birth, her father, Christopher Meadowes, and mother, Murielle (nee Traverre) Meadowes, got a divorce and separated. Dorcas never was sure why her two parents had gotten a divorce, but she never did ask her father about it. The reason to why she never asked was because her father had gotten married to Emmeline (nee Brooks) Meadowes shortly after the divorce. Even though her step-mother wasn’t really her mother, Dorcas was happy living with her step-mother. She was a bubbly woman that could cook like no other. It certainly was better than not having someone in her life to call her mom.
When the time came for her to attend Hogwarts, Dorcas was more than ready to leave home for school. Remember, she loved her family deeply, but the eagerness to learn as much as she possibly could was present by the time she could read. Once she arrived at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Gryffindor House. Making friends for her was easier than she thought it would be. She was an excellent student that was a quick learner and was very loyal to those she called her friends. She graduated with high marks and proudly told the Divination professor at the time exactly what she thought about how the subject was a complete waste of everyone’s time.
After graduating, Dorcas bought an apartment in Muggle London. Due to graduating with high grades, she was given the opportunity to be one of the first to take an interning position as an assistant in the Ministry of Magic’s Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She took the job, expecting it to be one of the best jobs in the Ministry that a person could get immediately after graduating from school. However, the job got a little boring after having to sit at a desk for hours doing mindless busy work and refilling the department head’s coffee cup every hour. Even though she finds herself bored whenever she goes to work, Dorcas still has the job. It was all just a matter of time before they would give her a promotion. And that promotion better come quick, because there is no way she was going to refill the department head’s coffee cup for the rest of her life.

Whoever thought that it would be funny to set up an Order meeting at 5am had better be providing breakfast. Dorcas Meadowes was never a morning person. In order to get herself at the Bones’ house before the meeting began, she had to cast spells on various items in her apartment the night before to get her up and out of bed. Of course, her brilliant spell work had got her out of bed, but she had forgotten to charm a set of clothes, her beauty products, combs, and a pair of earrings to make a half-awake Dorcas not look like a slimy ghoul. Well, this was going to have to be the first and last time anyone saw a ghoulish Dorcas walking about at an Order meeting.
Dorcas apparated outside Edgar Bones’ house with a loud crack and quickly made her way into the house. Hopefully none of the Muggles here are early birds, she thought as she closed the door behind her. As she shuffled her way toward the kitchen in her pajamas and white bunny slippers, she tried doing something to make her hair look somewhat decent. Sadly, there was really nothing she could do to it on her own right now. Lily could probably do something to it if she was there. Just as long as Black wasn’t there to make some remark right off the top of his head, she’d be perfectly fine.
Unfortunately, her morning got worse when she saw realized that Black was chatting away with others in the kitchen. Why didn’t she find Lily or McGonagall or another girl to help her not look like she had just gotten up right when she walked in? Oh well, it was too late now. She should’ve known that the kitchen would be full of men anyway. Dorcas, hoping that no one was realizing that she was blushing, sighed and reached for the tea kettle, saying, “Alright, Black. Let’s get this over with now so we can move on with the rest of our morning. I know that you already have something to say about this.”

"Morning Everyone" Albus greeted the arrivals as they made it in time, except for Lilly Potter. He'll give another five minutes, "forgive me for selecting an early time for the meeting, however, we must take cautious measures now that Voldemort is gaining power". He sipped out of his tea then took his time to grab a jam covered biscuit.
Only ask? Or double date? "I'll take you up the easy way and give me two tickets to your next match" Sirius braced a hand on Fabian's shoulder, "and i'll make sure you won't lose your current girls" playing it hard was always good.
"Morning" he returned Dumbledore's greeting, but then froze half-way at the woman that entered the kitchen in .... he eyed her intently for a moment or two then was even more amused that she prodded him. "I'm not sure you actually want that Dorcas" Sirius answered with a sly grin, "you never like my opinions" he dared her with his eyes to push him some more. Dorcas Meadowes was the only other person he loved to tease... sometimes till she cried, he wasn't a sadist, but for the life of him he wasn't sure why, perhaps it was a law of nature.

Fabian was going to reply to both his brother and Sirius, but hearing Dumbledore speaking made him choose to keep his mouth quiet for a little bit longer. He may no longer be under the headmaster's rules, but that didn't mean he didn't know he still had to respect him. "Ah, it's fine. I don't know if I'll speak two words that make sense, though," He confessed with a grin. Oh, never mind his previous thoughts on having a long talk with Albus. It was too early for long talks.
Finally turning to Gideon, he rolled his eyes. "Honestly man, why would I want to cut my hair? You're starting to sound like Molly, and speaking of her, she owled me just yesterday. We have to be at the Burrow tomorrow for dinner. She's planning some sort of three-month party for the twins," He told his own twin as he sat down on an empty chair. "Between you and I, I just think she misses us," He winked, even though he was pretty sure that was the reason why this whole reunion had been planned.
And then Sirius cut in. My, wasn't everyone deciding to talk to him that morning? Alright, two people didn't count as everyone, but eh. "Two tickets? Who's the other one for?" He asked with a teasing tone, not adding any other word due to the entrance of the women. "Good morning, ladies!" He greeted cheerfully. Mmm, five am definitely was not a good time for him to be up. It'd be lucky if he didn't bump into anything and ruin it.

Gideon chuckled. Molly was always going on about Fabian cutting his hair but his twin was not ever going to. When he heard about the reunion he full out laughed. "Yeah. I think she's afraid we might rub off on the little tykes." It was interesting how his little sisters twins looked so much like himself and Fabian. "I think it would be good for us all to get together and spend some time catching up." He fixed his twin with his serious stare just to relay how important that may be at this point in time.
The door opened and in walked to more of the Order. The ladies were a little late but they were still missing Lily. He swept a bow in their direction. "Morning."
Remus sat quietly at thetable, sipping his tea and listening to the chattering. Of course, Sirius was teasing Dorcas, that was nothing new. He laughed silently, shaking his head as he attempted to pawn his way into Fabian's next match by setting the other up with a girl. Typical Sirius. It somewhat shocked him that James wasn't also trying to get in on this free Quidditch ticket thing, being the fanatic he was. He greeted the new entrys with a small smile as they made their way to the table.
As Dumbledore spoke up, his eyes turned to his old headmaster. "It isn't all that early, sir." He said quietly.
She lingered int eh hallway allowing everyone else to pass her into the deeper parts of the house. She was nervous and she needed to take a few deep breaths to steady herself. "You can do this Emmeline," she repeated to herself.
She opened her eyes ready for whatever was going to come. Emmeline followed everyone into the kitchen smiling warmly at Albus. But the smile didn't reach her tired eyes. She chose a chair near the roaring fire in the kitchen grate. It was really early in the morning and she was usually heading home to climb into her warm bed at this time, but now she was still awake and her body wasn't liking it.
She heard the chatter going on around her and she wanted to join in but her heart wouldn't have been in it. The death of her mother was still raw on her heart and she knew that other Order members had lost loved ones in this battle, but she felt doubly responsible for the death of her mother. This was actually her first Order meeting and it had taken her months to get the invite in fact. She was glad she did and she planned on doing any and everything to take down Voldemort and anyone who served him.

Peter siddled up to the front step carefully, hoping that James, Sirius and Remus were there already. He didn't know what he'd do if they weren't. Wringing his hands slightly he opened the door and looked around. "Hi guys," he said as he walked up and stood purposely next to the three of them. Yup he belonged.
Lily woke up and with a look at the clock jumped up and rushed to get ready. How COULD she of all people be late?! Ugh and she was sure to hear something from James and Sirius about this. Hurrying downstairs she made sure she had everything and then spun on the spot. The loud crack reverberated around the house as she apparated to the meeting place. Suddenly, she found herself in front of Edgar's house and with a quick swipe of her hand over her hair headed up the stairs and opened the door. "Sorry I'm late," she said to no one in particular as her green eyes scanned the room. AND she had to be the last one here. Today just wasn't her day.
James' eyes cut into the side of his head as Sirius began teasing about babysitting Peter. That boy had a mind of his own and frankly, his mind was not where it always should have been. "Nevermind you," he began as he took to a cup of tea and sat down. There was only one reason for being up this early in the morning and she was not here yet.
He gave a nod of his head greeting Dumbledore and feeling the twig of hair jolting as he did. It was the most annoying yet funny piece of hair and it was his trademark none the less. "Morning," was nothing more than just a simple mumble or jumbled mess until Lily walked through the door. He straightened in his seat and cracked a smile.
"Late? Nonsense," he began with a slight chuckle. "You are right one time. We were just...a few hours early. That's all." Did he ever love teasing her as the best part was seeing just how upset he could make her. To him, he knew she liked it as she just didn't have to say anything.
Remus rolled his eyes at James' teasing Lilly. Saying anything to the love-sick boy wouldn't do anything but make his ears turn blood red, and earn him a slap in the back of the head. He instead gave Lilly a kind smile and offered her a seat beside him. She'd always been nice to him, dispite the fact his best friend tortured her to no apparent end. In honest fact, that girl had been the only person he knew whom he could hold a conversation with, and not feel like he was at least twenty-five years older than. As much as he loved Sirius, James and Peter, their plans and tricks often got the four of them into trouble he'd much rather not get into.
"Morning Lilly." He said kindly. "How have the first few weeks of summer been to you?" He asked. He knew James wouldn't be too pleased about him conversing with her, but she was his friend. And he was, in no way, intrested in the redhead like that.

She placed a hand on her hip while she sipped her tea, eyebrows slightly raised. He thought that she couldn’t take what he had to say? Ha! After having to deal with his impolite comments ever since the beginning of their magical education at Hogwarts, Dorcas was pretty sure that she could handle anything that had managed to ooze out of his mouth as of someone had poured Veritaserum down his throat. Just because it was way too early for her to be out and about didn’t mean that she couldn’t take whatever Black had to say. She was used to that after all of these years. He was a lucky man that she wasn’t exactly awake enough to hex him, though drinking Merlin knows how many cups of tea during the meeting will help.
“And who are you to say what I want, Black? Hmm? I don’t recall you ever paying much attention in Divination class ever. So I highly doubt you know what I want,” Dorcas responded in between sips of tea. “But you know what? You are right about me not being very fond of your ‘opinions’ … yet you still take the liberty to tell them either way. So you might as well shove–”
Dorcas’ attention went from Sirius right to Dumbledore when the older, much wiser man spoke. Even though she wasn’t exactly happy to be up at such a time in the morning, Dorcas let a little smile appear on her face. There was something about that man that made her feel safer around him (plus she didn’t really want him to know that she was already having the usual teasing session with Sirius).
Then Peter Pettigrew showed up. Dorcas tried not to breathe when he walked by to go stand next to Sirius and James. She never liked the Thing much at all and, well, he always smelled pretty bad to her. Luckily she had a reason to get a little bit farther away from him when a redhead woman around her age walked into the room. “Lily!” Dorcas said cheerfully, inching away from Peter a little bit. “What kept you so long? … Ahh. Hello, Remus.”
Lily's brilliant green eyes went to James as he said something that sounded like 'morning' but she wasn't sure. Watching as he sat up straighter and smiled she hid a smirk. Sitting up for her sake? Hmmm.
"You early? That would be the day James." She couldn't remember the last time she saw him early for anything and certainly not any meetings or a class. Smiling at him she moved further into the room noticing Peter lurking in the back. The boy just gave her the creeps.
As Remus spoke to her she smiled sweetly, "It's been great, thanks Remus. How has yours been?" She always liked Remus. Of the four troublemakers he was the most level headed. Spotting her friend her smile grew and she moved to stand next to Dorcas and Remus the two that didn't bother her. Not that James bothered her any she found his antics kind of cute but she would never admit that if you asked her. "Hi Dorcas. I slept in. Seems my body knows it's summer," she chuckled lightly and smoothed her hand over her red hair.

Albus Dumbledore’s brows rose at the sudden squabble at the table, he sipped his tea and smiled knowingly as the two tried to fend for themselves. Stroking his beard he nodded at the new arrivals giving them a gentle smile as they made themselves comfortable and had a cup of tea to freshen up.
Sirius was smiling his signature one-sided smile as Dorcas berated him, “you are right, I never paid attention to Divination but” he emphasized on the ‘but’, “I don’t need to Divination to know I freely live in your thoughts” he mused and poked his nose snobbishly in the air, “you look-“ he broke off as Albus cleared his throat.
Dumbledore cleared his throat and waved a hand to make the kettle float to pour more tea around the table, “I believe we have a full house now” he smiled, “Good Morning everyone” he said again just to clear some of the tension and wake the snoozing. “I cannot thank you enough for coming this early, as I mentioned earlier the times are getting difficult and harder for us”. He sighed and started to stroke his beard, “I have come across news that Voldemort has started to collect followers from our people and a few rumors pointed towards magical creatures”.
Once Dumbledore started his meeting, Sirius poked Fabian to finish their discussion once it was adjourned and listened intently to the man and thoughtfully as well knowing James wouldn't pay attention while Lilly was around, so he'd have to fill him in as well.

Gideon had been watching the interplay between Sirius and Dorcas with some amusement. The two were clearly into one another but refused to say so, not that it wasn't blatantly clear already. The fair Ms. Lily finally made her appearance and he dipped his head in her direction in greeting. Of course, then her and James started in on one another. Ah, to be that young again.
Still smiling, Gideon took a seat next to Emmeline. He was fairly sure that was her name anyway. Albus had mentioned her a couple of days ago. Leaning over he put out a hand. "Emmeline isn't it? I'm Gideon Prewett. Welcome." He gave her his charming smile. She looked a bit nervous.
Albus bringing the meeting to start distracted him though. The fresh tea smelled lovely, he gladly took his glass and listened intently. For good measure he jabbed his twin in the side using his elbow to make sure the git was paying attention.
Remus had been about to reply to Lily and Dorcas, when Dumbledor began their meeting. The news of the dark lord collecting followers didn't come as any kind of shock to him, though it did cause a brief shot of worry to run through his mind. No matter, he was sure that the group of them, and anyone else who wanted to join later, would be more then enough to fend off the new evil. He took a sip from his tea and sat quietly as the meeting continued.
His eyes briefly turned to the window, and watched as the suns first rays started to shine on the far horizon, casting a dull red light over the town. It brought a small smile to his lips. For some reason, other then the obvious, he'd always liked the sunrise. Even before the attack, he'd purpously wake up early in the morning to watch the sun come up. Realizing he wasn't paying attention, he mentally slapped himself out of his daydreaming and focoused once again on the task at hand. Coming up with a plan to prevent the Voldemort from gaining more power, and followers.
AH! He KNEW she liked him. It was all there, the signs of admiration and devotion. Love and..."Sirius you never paid attention to anything but the ladies," James stumbled in before Dumbledore began his speech. Hard to make early meetings were the only words James wished to dwell on but that was hardly the fact. "Are you...sure about this Dumbledore? And who is it that Voldemort is pushing towards?" Emmeline was nervous as a cat. She knew most of the people in the room from Hogwarts, though she was friends with any of them. Emmeline was never popular enough at Hogwarts to garner a wave from James or Sirius.
She nearly jumped out of her chair when someone spoke to her. She smile and gave his hand a firm shake. "Yes, Emmeline Vance. Nice to meet you Gideon." She smiled. At least someone was speaking to her. Though she wasn't sure if she liked it. Sometimes she liked blending in with the background.
She took a sip of tea as Dumbledore started the meeting. This was what she had come for and she was excited to get started. She gave Gideon a smile to let him know that they could talk after the meeting. If he still wanted to speak with her.

Physical appearance: Edgar is a tall and athletically built guy. He has beautiful blue eyes and sandybrown hair that is cut short. He keeps his hair short because it will only be in the way on missions, stake outs and other work. Another significant feature is a white tiger tattoo that he has on his right shoulder.
Relevant family member: A sister Amelia (Law Enforcement department head), a brother William (magical creature reservation worker), in later years he will have a niece Susan.
Personality: Edgar is a good and loveable guy. He has high principles and morals and sticks to them. Edgar is open-minded, loyal, intelligent and intuitive. He is a talented spell weaver and someone with leader instincts. Edgar is also family oriented and likes to keep the people he loves safe and out of danger. He is also known for speaking his mind and thoughts.
Edgar had had a busy night that had only ended in the wee hours of the morning. Being an auror under his sister command had its advantages and disadvantages. The things Amelia didn't trust any of her other aurors with were given to him which included following up leads that mostly went nowhere. Edgar didn't mind that most of the time but not when the Order was assembling to a meeting at his house. The tall sandybrown haired man wrote down down the lasty notes on the report that Amelia would read later in the morning. Edgar dropped the quill and stood up from his uncomfortable chair. Taking the lift up to ground floor he apparted home at the first opportunity. Tired, dusty and still wearing the same clothes he had worn to work the previous day Edgar arrived home. Entering through the kitchen door he stopped dead on entering to look at all the people sitting in his kitchen. Waving and giving each and everyone one a tried smile he said "Morning, everyone! Has the meeting already started?"
Smiling warmly in greeting to those who entered the kitchen after her, Marlene made herself comfortable in a vacant seat around the table and slowly sipped her tea, letting the hot liquid warm her throat and wake her more. As Dumbledore began the meeting, Marlene looked to him, setting her cup down and left her hands wrapped around the sides. "In times like these, people really show their true colors, don't they?" Marlene sighed. "What kind of creatures, do you know sir?"
When another member arrived, more specifically the man who lived there, the young witch offered a small, friendly smile. "Hello Edgar. Yes, Professor Dumbledore was just telling us about the latest news. It seems Voldemort is collecting followers; witches, wizards and creature alike."

Though Fabian knew too well that Gideon was more than right to have that serious look on his face, though he knew what was behind that look and was quite aware that they may stop seeing their family for good, the man kept grinning at his brother as if it were nothing. There simply was no point in suffering in anticipation, was there? Besides, they'd better enjoy themselves for as long as they could. "I know. Tonight you sleep at home," He murmured to his twin. He did so because: one, Gideon hadn't set a foot at their house for a while except to change clothes and take a shower, two, because Dumbledore had begun to speak, and, though he may still be half asleep, he knew better than to disrespect the man.
And, as the red headed man wanted to hear what the old man had to say, he didn't add another word and just looked at Albus, only for his brows to shoot up on his forehead. Magical creatures? "As in giants and trolls?" He asked at once, trying to think of which creatures would become You-Know-Who's allies. "Naw, scratch that, trolls are too dumb for that," He mused thoughtfully, hardly noticing the entrance of the house's owner.

Albus nodded in agreement with everyone, "Ah Edgar, yes it has" he briefly studied the man then focused on the discussion at hand as he made to his seat.
"I'm not fairly sure James of anything, however, a few things and rumors lead to that way" he explained on and glanced between Marlene and Fabian, "I'm afraid i don't have specifics on which creatures he's after, but i can assume which creatures he may want or would easy to recruit at first. And they are the ones our society have degraded or shunned out overtime".
