Gabe nodded practicing the motion a few more times then looked at ehr smiling. "alright. I'm ready." He closed his eyes hoping that he didn't screw it up in front of her. Biting his lower lip slightly, he pointed his wand at the napkin and said the spell, the napkin turning into a perfectly formed mask. "how's that?"

"Ooooh, that was really good," said Rocio enthusiastically. She was still proud of herself for having mastered the spell. "Then again, I doubt my praise means as much as Adri." She couldn't help but smirk once more.

"What?" Rocio muttered back to Adri. "I was only stating a well known fact." She smiled innocently at her and turned back to focus on eating her food as if nothing had happened.

"Yeah, I suppose I better go with her so I can finish my own stuff up!" She stood up as well. "Good luck finding costumes, guys," she said with a wink and with that she followed Adrianna out of the Great Hall.

She found Adrianna with her hands to her face. "Got a bit flustered, I see," she said. "It's just too cute."

Gabe picked up the mask and looked at Adrianna and smiled as she complimented his mask. "Thank you." He blushed slightly at Ro's comment and then saw Adrianna stand up noticng that her cheeks were beginning to turn red. That made her even cuter. "Yea....see you tonight..." He said softly nd watched as she and Ro lef the room. He looked back down at the mask running his thumb over the curves. It was perfect, just needed a few embellishments.

"hmm? what?" Gave said tearing his gaze away from the mask and looing at Derek. "Oh, umm yea. Yea, I think I will be able to find her. It won't be to hard." He grinned and looked towards th dor that the girls hd left through. "She will be the most gorgous one there."

"yes. I'll just know." Gabe said confidently looking back at Derek nd smiled. "I'll just know. I'll look at her and know right away that it's her. I have no doubts at all that I will find her."

"Now you just sound like a book," he said. " Or a magazine. You haven't been reading those teen, witch magazines, have you?" He even managed and awkward chuckle at the thought.

"I just can't help myself," said Rocio. "You know how I am." She smiled and followed her back to the Room of Requirement. "Besides, what does it matter? It's so obvious that you both fancy each other."

Gabe shrugged and laughed. "I'm just a hopeless naive romantic. And Im very optimistic that I will be able to find her. I do not read those lousy magazines. Loads of hippogriff dung if you ask me." He chuckled and looked back down at his mask. "Besides,she will be looking for me too, at least I hope. So I just look for the girl who is looking for me, or appears to be looking for someone, since I cant read minds won't know if it's supposed to be me."

Hermione had done her dress but hadn't finished her mask so she headed to the ror and wasn't surprised to see rocio and Adri there "hey guys mind if i join you" she asked "i found some helpful spells for these masks in the library if you'd like" hermione paused "not interupting though i hope" she said mischeiviously

Rocio rolled her eyes at Adrianna. "Oh, I'd find out eventually if you were having any secret romances," she said with a light smirk on her face. "I'm just that good."

Hermione then joined them. "Oh, no, you're not interrupting at all," said Rocio.

"And if there's more than one girl looking for a certain guy?" asked Brant. "Then what? How will you know which girl to approach or which girl is looking for you?"

Derek was asking him extremely hard questions, none of which Gabe could answer properly. "I uhh...what is this an interrogation?" He chuckled and shook his head. "I don't know man, I can't explain it. Other than, I'll just know. I'll just be able to tell. Not by how she looks. Voice maybe, but I dunno. I don't really want to say I'll know by her aura, because that isn't it exactly. BUt her, personality maybe? I don't know, but I think that I like her enough, that when I see her, I will just...know. I now it sounds completely corny."

"Sorry, mate," said Derek smirking lightly. "I just thought I'd go all Socratic method on you. You know, just keep asking questions until we arrived at a definitive answer. I'll stop now, if you want me to." Derek hadn't really meant to badger Gabe about this. He had been curious how he could be so sure, but clearly he would rely on his male instinct to help him find Adrianna at the dance.

"Nah, I think you'll be fine," said Rocio with a wink. "Just make sure you do something about your hair. Your busy hair might give you away if you don't."

Gabe laughed shaking his head. "I do believe I'm making progress with you. There's hope for you yet." He smirked and looked around the Great Hall. "No it's alright. I jsut can't expain how I'll know. I just will."

Adrianna smiled at the blue dress that Hermione pulled out. "That's beautiful!" she said, stroking the fabric gently. "You did a really nice job with it," she added, admiring the detail. She nodded, agreeing with what Rocio said. "You're hair will be a dead give away, but that's nice that you found something," Adri said. She smiled as Hermione as she brought out her light blue, medieval style dress. "This is mine... I just have to do the mask," she said with a proud smile.
