As Halloween approaches, all the students of Hogwarts begin to get that same euphoric feeling of the holidays. However, this Halloween will be different: the Headmaster is allowing them to have a ball. There are a couple rules: You can't tell anyone who you are, you can't say how you're going to be dressed, and, yes, you have to be dressed up. The masks come off on the 12th stroke of midnight, when Halloween has come to a close. What will happen? Will there be a scare? Will enemies become friends, or more? What will ensue on the night of Halloween??

Okay, so I thought this would be fun, especially in the spirit of Halloween! We need an even amount of guys and girls- otherwise we're going to have uneven dance partners! I don't care if you want to have canon characters or all made-ups! Let's just have fun with it!

Personality: Derek’s one of those guys who mostly keeps to himself. He has his few close friends but other than that he doesn’t trust people easily. It’ll take a lot of getting to know him before he thinks you worthy of his trust. Hot tempered and impatient, he’s one guy you don’t want to cross unless you want to get hexed into the next dimension. He does have a soft side but it’ll take a while for you to find.

Other: Derek grew up with rotten parents and never liked being at home. His parents actually never liked him either. He was an accident and they never let him forget it. In fact, he and Rocio lived in the same neighborhood and that’s how he met her. It took a while but soon they became best friends. And even when they got to Hogwarts, they remained friends. Of course Rocio eventually made her own friends and soon Derek had to put up with being around other people. But he’s okay; you just have to give him some time.

Personality: Rocio and Derek are complete opposites. Sometimes it’s hard not to wonder how they ever became friends. Unlike her silent, brooding friend she’s loves being around others and is one of those social butterfly types. She also loves boys and is constantly flirting with them. She can get whiney though when things don’t go her way. But she’s tough. She’s not afraid to get a little dirty or try new things; you just have to make sure she’s in the right mood. If not, then she can be very difficult to talk to and get along with.

Other: Her father was a muggle and her mother a witch. She’s the only child in her family and was always playing outside by herself. Personality: David is the type of person that can scream at anyone. He's a bit angry and frustrated with the world, but he tries not to do anything that he would regret later. He's talkative, though, but on a bad, angry day he's rather quiet for fear of snapping at the ones he is close to. He's rather musically inclined and loves to sing, but only alone and in his room.

Appearance: David has bright blue eyes and dark brown, almost black-looking, hair. He is tall, about 6'3", and he usually wears blue or black, depending on his mood.

Personality: Vanessa is the complete opposite of her brother. She's always bubbly and happy, and she is really hard to get angry. She's nice, but she can be mean when she wants to be, which is rare, only when she gets picked on. [Which is usually never nowadays]

Appearance: Vanessa has black hair and bright green eyes. She's 5'4', her complexion is tan, and she is relatively tiny. She usually wears baby doll dresses or something girly.

Personality: Paisley is your average girl, uncomfortable about herself, her weight her looks, everything. She attends to her friends everneeds but not being able to tell who is who means she will be mroe defensive of herself and wont let ehr guard down much. She just wants the best out of life. She loves her cousin Aston dearly.

Personality: Adrianna is a very friendly person. She gets along with everyone and loves to laugh. She is able to adjust to the crowd and is a good friend to all those who know her. She is very intelligent, the top of her class, but doesn't flaunt it unless in a joke. She loves to read and write, and in her free time she is usually found curled up with a book or notebook.

Personality: Quiet but smart, Carter is not one of the more vocal Slytherins. However, he does still have the same hatred toward the Gryffindors. Carter does well in all of his classes but doesn't talk very much. However, he does enjoy time with his friends, the few that he has. He doesn't have much of a temper, but it can flare up on occasion. He likes music and plays guitar in his spare time, although he doesn't share that with anyone else.
Blood: Pure Blood
History: Carter was raised in a good home. There wasn't a lot of extra money, but enough to make living quite comfortable. He was quite excited to come to Hogwarts, and wasn't surprised about his house placement. Since he was quiet, he really didn't connect with a whole lot of people. In general, he doesn't agree with what the Slytherins do, but he was picked on by Gryffindors when he first arrived and has held a grudge ever since.

Personality: Gabriel is a very down-to-earth guy. He likes to have fun and just have a good time, whether it be with friends, or just by himself reading. He enjoys being in the outdoors and is a bit of a hopeless romantic, although no one has been close enough to him to find out that information. He likes going for walks, watching the stars, having a picnic…all that mushy lovey dovey stuff that would be seen by most guys as acts of being too soft. He is also extremely loyal to his friends and would do anything to prevent them from being hurt.

Blood: Pureblood

History: Gabe’s parents are the complete polar opposite of him, which adds to his personality. His parents both take part in the dark arts and he absolutely despises that part of him. He would never want to act like that around anyone, which is why he is so caring around everyone. When his parents found out he was in Hufflepuff they were absolutely horrified. That they had produced a son no less, to carry on the family name, and he was put in the most ‘degrading’ house. Therefore, they do everything they can to try to get him to go to the ‘dark side,’ so he stays at Hogwarts whenever possible, until summer rolls around…when he can’t escape.
