Gabe was watching the flames flickering when he felt her cold fingers against his warm cheek and soon they were kissing. His hand found the back of her neck and he rubbed it gently smiling into their kiss. "well I want you to have a ring regardless." He said laughing and kissed her cheek. Closing his eyes, he thought of the most beautiful ring he could think of. A gold promise ring, with one solitary diamond, not big or gaudy, just the right size. When he opened them there was a small ring box on the table. Picking it up, he opened it, impressed with what was inside. He slipped it out of it's cushion and held Adrianna's hand. "I promise that I will always always remain loyal to you. I promise not to hurt you. I will always be there for you. I will love you with all of my heart and soul, down to every last fiber of my being. Ad I will be your prince for all of eternity." Gently, he slipped it onto her finger, holding his gaze staring into her bright green eyes.

Adrianna laughed at Gabe's comment. She watched as he closed his eyes, and she played with his fingers as he did so, slowly lacing their hands together and then pulling them away in a slight dance. As he left her to get the ring, she wondered what exactly he would come up with. As he turned and put the ring on her finger, she gasped at its beauty. "I love it... not only because of the ring itself, but because it was you who designed it," she said, mesmerized by its glitter and shine. She listened to his speech, her eyes filling slightly with tears. What had she done to deserve such a perfect partner?

Gabe grinned glad that she liked it. Chuckling to himself, he reached up softly running his fingers over her face. "I love you." He said softly staring at her dreamily.

Adrianna wrapped her arms gently around his neck and ran her fingers up and down along it. "And I love you," she said, smiling brightly as she blinked away her tears. "I don't think anything will ever be happier for me than to spend my life with you."

Gabe smiled and slid his arms around her waist and leaned in gently kissing away the tear falling down her cheek. Nuzzling his nose against hers, he grinned. "I can only imagine how absolutely perfect you would look in a wedding dress. You are so beautiful now...."

Adrianna laughed softly as she cuddled closer to Gabe. Everything felt right, from his hands on her waist, to her head on his shoulder, to the kiss he laid on her cheek. "This entire night has been perfect... and I can only imagine our life together will be even better," she said. She leaned in and kissed him softly, the firelight painting a warm glow on the room, but was nothing compared to the warmth felt by the newly engaged couple.

Months passed and both Adrianna and Gabe went through their studies together. Friends were surprised at the engagement, seeing as the two had only just become a couple, but no one could deny their closeness. Not long after, Rocio and Chad soon revealed their relationship. The two couples remained close and worked on Gabe and Adrianna's wedding plans... despite that it would not happen for years.

Other couples also emerged from Halloween night, including the shier couple of Derek and Paisley. Even to this day, the modest couple remained together throughout their Hogwarts years and even today can be seen walking down the street hand in hand. Hermione and Aston ended up parting ways, having only really been friends. Hermione's heart had always belong to Ron. Meanwhile Aston eventually found true love in a girl that had remained behind a book for most of her time at Hogwarts. In fact, their first kiss was behind a book.

Not long after their Hogwarts graduation, each person was able to find an occupation that suited them, although a few took longer than others. Adrianna and Gabe got married two years after graduation, with all of their friends and family attending the ceremony. Rocio and Chad had their own wedding not long after.

Adrianna and Gabe did end up getting their farm house, with a pony and their three beautiful children to ride it...

Adrianna put down her pen, sighing as she reread the last part she had written. Their youngest was asleep in her arms, and sighed softly before shifting positions. Adrianna chuckled and kissed him softly on the head.

"Princess?" Gabe's soft voice drifted to her from the doorway. She turned her head to smile at the man she would always love.
"We're all ready to go..." Gabe said, walking up to kiss his wife on the forehead. His hand went down and gently stroked the baby's forehead.

"Its quite early to go to Kings Cross, isn't it?" she asked, making sure not to wake the sleeping child. Gabe chuckled in the way that Adrianna loved.

"Leila wants to get there early... it is her first year after all!" he said with a grin.

"And who knows what's in store!" Adrianna said with a broad smile as she look up at her husband. "I'll be right down..." Gabe nodded and kissed his wife on the lips quickly before he left the room.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" he called, and Adrianna laughed softly as she heard him pick up their children, and their shrieks as he spun. Adrianna once again turned to the page, and tapped the pen to her lips as she thought of the best way to end it. Gabe's words to her remained in her head, and finally the last line glided into her mind. Smiling, she put her pen to the page.

And so, the Prince and the Princess found their kingdom, and lived happily ever after.
