"I won't be long," she said smiling as she cleaned. After a while she was finished and walked upstairs and joined him. |
Nick looked up as he heard the clicking sound. He saw her and smiled, getured her to sit near him on the couch. Then he leaned down to write the new notes of the song curiously. He scratches some, finalised some. He looked at her in the middle and asked, "Do you able to understand any?" |
She watched as he wrote curiously. He seemed quite engrossed with his work, though not completely satisfied, as he made adjustments. "Well, I must admit that I don't understand any of that. I've never seen the notes before because I've never had any musical training." She was gazing at his work, fascinated. |
He smiled, "I understand, but I bet, You'll come good at everything once you involved with the stuffs, honey. But what I'm working now is bit complicted though..." he siad and patted her shoulder for comforting her. |
"Well, thank you," she said, smiling. "But we'll have to wait and see about that. Can you play for me what you writing when you're done?" she asked curiously. |
Nick laughed at her request. He pulled her close and kissed on her cheek as he said, "Sure honey, who else would get that honour? nobody.." he shook his head. approvingly. "Now, could arrange these papers by numbers..please??" he asked her. |
She smiled and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Sure," she said taking the papers from him. She started to arrange them in the proper order, looking at each page in turn. She was genuinely interested in his work and was eager to start learning this stuff as well. |
He watched her to arrange the papers all neat and tidy. The filing was perfect. He planted another kiss on her cheeks as a compliment. "Nice work honey, thank you so much, Now i've only one paper left to finish, after that I'll play the new tune for you..." he told her, the clock shows it was nearly midnight. |
"Okay, how long should that take?" she asked curiously, looking at the clock. She didn't want to be up too late. She told him her concern of the time. |
It was so late by the time he finished all his work, and he saw her sleeping over the table. It was nearly one o'clock morning. He felt so bad that he made her been awake so late. He silently fixed everthing in place and takes her in his arms without disturbing her, walked toward her room. |
Tina woke suddenly quite a few hours later. She was surprised to find that she was tucked into her bed. The last thing she remembered she was watching Nick work. She looked over at the clock and saw that it was 7:00 am. She decided to go and see if he was awake yet. She slowly got out of bed and made her way to his door. She knocked on it saying, "Nick, you up yet?" |
Nick heard Tina's voice from upstairs. He called her back from the living room as he already got ready to the Uni. "I'm here Tina, in the living room.." he looked up and waited for her to join the breakfast as he tied his shoes. |
"Oh," she said as she slowly walked downstairs to join him. "I wasn't sure that you'd be up so early. I only got up now 'cause I got disturbed in my dream." They walked to the kitchen and sat down for breakfast. "So are you leaving right after we eat?" She hoped that he would stay for a bit longer then that. |
Nick smiled and placed a kiss on her cheeks. "Good morning honey, and I feel bad that you were disturbed by a dream " he hugged her and asked in very conerning tone, "Was there anything scary in your dream??" as they started to et their Breadkfast. "Umm..nope I've still 20 minutes left to leave, honey. Why do you want anything to tell me?" he takes her hand and squeezed it gently. |
"Good morning sweetie," she said returning the kiss on the cheek. As she was hugging him she said, "it was strange really. I can't really remember the details, but I do remember... well, it's hard to explain... But it was really odd and has left me with a strange feeling." She frowned slightly at the thought, but started to eat her breakfast. "I just want to spend some more time with you," She squeezed his hand in return, gazing deeply into his eyes. |
He smiled and kissed her again. "Dont worry honey, You'll be with me in the University so soon, Dad is taking all the steps briskly.." he nodded and patted on her hand assuringly. He felt so bad for her, for letting her alone in the house without him. "okay, it's time to leave, See you later, Tina" she waved at her and his mom before he gets out of the campus. |
"I hope so," she said sadly. "I'm so lonely here without you..." She was sad that he was leaving her again. "Okay, I'll see you later," she said as she waved him goodbye. |
After a week, Nick's father got Tina's admission orders. He walked into the living room as all others were watching TV. "Hey all, guess what??" he asked with the papers in his hand. Nick got up and guessed immeditely, "Dad, Tina's admission papers??" he walked over and trying to get the papers from him. "Yes, you're right, son. But what would you give me to take this papers? tell me??" he playfully raised his eyebrows at him, watching everyone's happy reactions. |
Tina got up excitedly as Nick's father was talking. "I'd give anything, now can I please have my papers?" She smiled as he gave them to her. "I can finally study music now," she said beaming excitedly as she looked at them. |
Nick watched her as she was in clould nine. How awesome!! She was going to study the music in the same University with him. Another wizarding student. And he could spend more time with his Tina. He thanked his father for his priceless effort. Giving a big hug to him he said, "Thanks Dad, You're awesome!!" His dad patted on his back, "Anytime Nick, I'll do anything for my son happiness and ofcourse, Tina my dear." he smiled as he sat on the couch, relaxed. |
"Yes, thank you very much," Tina said looking at Nick's father, smiling. "I am so ready to start tomorrow." She was so excited, not only to study music at a University, but because this would allow her to spend more time with Nick again. She looked at him and grinned. |
Nick looked so satisfied with the proceedings. He beamed and said, "Now, It's upto you my dear, get ready for the new life from tomorrow morning" He smiled and sank again into the couch before he went to his school stuffs. |
They spent the rest of the evening together in a good mood watching TV after Nick finished his school stuff. Finally after a while it was time for bed. Tina woke up early the next morning, eagerly awaiting going to University. She got everything ready for school and then headed downstairs for breakfast. |
Nick got ready for the first day of the week, specially with Tina. He seemed so happy when he walked down the stairs and say, "Good morning all" he gave everyone a hug and kiss. He winked at Tina, "So, ready for the new journey, honey?" he took a seat and gets his toast. |
"You bet I am," she said winking back at him as she buttered her toast. She seemed as happy as him. "Though I'm not sure how I'm going to get around the place yet. We shall see though." She smiled. "And I admit that I'm getting a bit nervous," she added as an afterthought. "It's just that I've never been to a Muggle school before. And it's going to be difficult I think to resist using magic there," she added giggling. |
