ooc: Ron and Hermione are already dating.

Hermione's face lit up as she watched her favorite redhead in the world walk into the Great Hall. Seeing him sit close to her and not say anything, her smile fell slightly. But than again, it was Ron Weasley. He probably was still half asleep and just wanted food in his stomach. Guys. Hermione said grumpily as she turned her attention back to her breakfast.

While stabbing at her eggs, she jumped slightly when she heard Ron greet her. "Hey." She said, looking up and flashing him a smile. All previous annoyance gone. "How was your night?" She asked.

"Hey Lavender." Hermione greeted classmate when she sat down at the Gryffindor table. The girl didn't want to be mean to Lavender even though it was common knowledge that Lavender did not like Hermione for "stealing her Won-Won." But the brunette didn't want to start any hostilities between the two, but who knew what Lavender had in mind.

"No worries." Serena said, tearing her eyes away from the boys to look at Lo. "Tired?" She asked, knowing that it was more of a rhetorical question. It was quite obvious that Lo was very sleep deprived.

Flushing slightly as Lo noticed that she had been staring at the group of boys, Serena casted another quick glance over the three. "There the new transfers." She said, explaining, wondering if that would make it seem like suspicious that she had been staring. "One of them is in Slytherin, the other in Gryffindor and one's in Ravenclaw." The blonde said, casting a eye over their house robes.

"Umm...bye?" Cho said confused at Riley's behaviour. She very much enjoyed talking to Riley and being friends with him, but at times, he was quite the weird and flustered boy.

Returning her attention back to her breakfast, she noticed the volume increase in the Great Hall. More and more people were starting to wake up and come down for breakfast. A redhead from the Gryffindor table caught her eye. Shooting her a small glare, she looked away quickly before she could get caught by her or her friends. Scanning the Great Hall for him, her eyes landed on the weird grouping at the Slytherin table. A Ravenclaw, a Slytherin and a Gryffindor? She questioned, raising an eyebrow at this. Obviously these new people didn't know the ways of Hogwarts yet.

Lo laughed, "I was tired. This stuff works though," she said glancing at her coffee. Being slightly an insomniac, Lo hardly ever got to sleep, and when she did, it felt as though she had to wake up ten minutes later.

Lo watched Serena flush, and smiled a little. "Transfers? I wonder where they've come from," she muttered, mainly to herself. She looked back over at the boys, "Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw," she repeated. "Well, that's a mix." She then looked back over at Serena, her blue eyes shining. "Should we go over and introduce ourselves?" She asked, her confidence beginning to rise. "I mean, just in case they don't know their way around," she added quickly.

Serena looked at Lo. Oh god. She thought to herself. "Let's do it." She said suddenly, courage and confidence rushing through her. Wiping her mouth again with her napkin, for safety measures, she got up from her seat and walked a few seats over to the boys.

"Hi!" Serena said, flashing them a smile. "Serena Roberts." She said introducing herself. While waiting for a response, she took a quick glance at Lo, winking at her quickly. She couldn't believe she was doing this.

Lo followed suit, and walked up to the boys with Serena. After Serena quickly winked at Lo, she winked back. With a large smile she added, after Serena, "And I'm Lauren Wright, but you can just call me Lo." She looked from boy to boy, with a smile, hoping that they'd get a positive reaction from them.

"Oh. Slytherin. Nice." Quil said, pausing slowly to actually chew and comprehend this. He swallowed his food and laughed. "Enlargement charms eh? Maybe some smarty pants can hook us up with that seeing as we don't have anywhere else to go." Quil grumbled as Embry finally showed up.

"Finally man! I was beginning to think something happened to you.." He said, taking another slice of toast while listening to the two complain about cramped quarters (heck yes!). "Seriously though... us being in different houses is lame. That hat is bogus if you ask me.." Quil told them seriously after shoveling down some more breakfast food.

While this was all taking place two Slytherin girls (Quil could tell by her tie and badge) approached them.

"Uhhh. Quil Ateara." Quil said, nodding his head at Serena and her friend Lo while eyeing the last piece of bacon on the platter in front of them.

"Nice to meet you Quil." Serena said, making sure she pronounced his name correctly. Storing the name in her memory, she looked at the other boys waiting for them to introduce themselves.

She didn't know why she felt weird introducing her to these new people. She had done it before. Sauntered up to random people with her friends and introduced herself. It had ended up as a couple of dates too and it shouldn't have been any more awkward here at school. But maybe it was because they were new students. New to Hogwart ways. Maybe that was why she was slightly nervous.

Lo nodded, and smiled as he answered them, also waiting for the other boys to introduce themselves. "Where did you transfer from Quil? All from the same place I assume? She asked with interst, wondering what bought them to Hogwarts.

"Mmm. You too." Quil said, although he honestly didn't care who he met. He looked up and blinked. They were still standing there. Ohh - maybe they wanted to know Jake and Embry's names?

Quil coughed and nudged his friends. "Erm. This is Jake." He said, his chocolate brown eyes resting on his Slytherin friend. "And that's Embry." Quil added, glancing now at his Hufflepuff friend.

Quill gulped and turned towards his friends. What was he supposed to say? Oh yeah - we're from Washington in America. Oh but by the way - we're secretly werewolves and thats why we're here? He thought not.

"Oh yeah. You know... regular ol' little town in a place." Quil stammered. Wow. LAME.

Summer Moore bounced down from the Ravenclaw dormitory. Her bouncy auburn hair was pulled loosly back from her face with a hairclip and her uniform was a little more vibrant than what everyone else was wearing. Blue and gray sparkles had been added to the tie and matching colored fringe to the bottom of her robes. It was an understatement to say Summer sparkled.

Giggling to herself, Summer skipped into the Great Hall. Ahh another sunny morning, Summer thought to herself, grabbing an apple from the Ravenclaw table and slidding into a seat next to Hermione Granger at the Gryffindor table.

"Hi girls!" Summer said cheerfully, crossing her legs and beaming at the people around her. She was never sure sometimes if people actually liked her or were somewhat scared by her funky and outgoing personality.

Lo nodded as he introduced his other friends, taking their names in, and waving slightly.

Lo looked taken aback at his answer, and slightly confused. "Um, okay. Cool." Was the only answer she could actually produce. Maybe they're hiding something, she thought, not that it's any of my business. She the shook away her thoughts, and came back to reality, while she stood there looking like a complete idiot. "Anyway, if you need any help finding your way around the castle, just ask," she said with a smile. "That's really the reason I came over here, to let you know." And to maybe make some new friends, she added to herself, mentally. For now though, she'd just let the reason stick to the one she explained, because saying that, might only just embarrass her.

Ronald's nervousness disappeared when he heard her voice in reply. "Hmm.." he thought about about his night. "Thinking of you." he smiled at Hermione brightly. Ron was however telling the truth. He thought about her day and night. And thought it was about time she should know. "How about yours hun?" He sweetly asked his lovely girlfriend. Ron could smell the sweet smell of her. He breathed it in slowly and slowly let it back out. Hermione was his favorite aroma.

Miley was sitting in the same room again reading, hoping she would meet someone new.

"Jacob Black," Jake said after Quil had already introduced him. He glanced at the girls, trying on a tight smile. He didn't have to be so uptight. He laughed at Quil, only he could say something like that.

"We're from Washington in the States," he clarified.

Lo turned to Jacob, "Washington?" She asked, her eyes widening. "Wow, it must've been a real shock for you to come here then," she added, her blue eyes going back to their normal size. "Liking it here so far though?" She asked, looking around at them, slightly puzzled on what could of brought them all the way from Washington to Hogwarts.

Ginny smiled when her brother showed up. "Yes, greet your girlfriend but not your little sister. I'm hurt Ron." she said putting on a hurt face. She smiled and Summer. "Hey Summer, how are you?"

Miley saw Ginny and asked with confusion, "Ginny what are doing," she asked.

Quil nodded glumly, feeling extemely out of sorts from his answer. Even though he wasn't here to socialize or make friends - heck he already HAD great friends - Quil didn't want to become the school freak or something.

"Hey Summer." Hermione said cheerfully to the girl that slid into the seat next to her. The girl's happiness was infectious. "How was your first week back at Hogwarts?" She asked, looking at the girl, while finishing off her breakfast.

"It was alright." Hermione said, flushing a little at how Ron was expressing his feelings for her. She quite enjoyed it actually, it was a change from the fights they normally had when they were just friends. "Just finishing that Potions essay." She said, leaning over and kissing him on the mouth gently.

Shuffling closer to him on the bench, she leaned her head on his strong broad shoulder. Ron was her favorite pillow.

"Nice to meet you Jacob." Serena said, giving him a smile and a look over. She had to admit, he was quite adorable. "Nice to meet you too Embry." She said, casting a look at the other boy on the other side of Jacob. Memorizing their names for further reference, she listened to Lo ask them questions.

"Washington?" She said, repeating the name. She had been there once but very briefly. "And you guys came here?" She asked curious. England was one of the last places she would have expected for them to transfer to. The States did have wizarding schools afterall.

Jacob sighed. Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned it. "Oh, you know, it was a sort of exchange program, and we just jumped for it," he tried to explain, looking at the girls with interest. Or, at least, more interest than he had before. "We like it here so far," he lied with a smile.

“Oh. That sounds quite interesting.” Serena said, blue eyes wide with interest and curiosity. But she knew not to ask anymore questions, she didn’t want to sound too creepy or probing with these new students. “Well, I’m glad you like it here.” She said, missing his lie to them.

The blonde ran her left hand through her hair and looked around the Slytherin table. Where was Draco Malfoy? God, was he really that much of a lazy boy and slept in today?

Embry slowly moved away from his two friends. "Better get back to my own table, I should make some other friends, I guess." In truth he wanted to stay, but he'd never have an enjoyable moment in the common room if he didn't know anyone at all.

"I'm alright." Ginny replied and smiled at her friend. "And Summer, your always bubbly." she replied teasingly. Then looking over at the guys at the Slytherin table she said "I wonder if maybe we should be friendly and introduce ourselves." Then making up her mind she stood and started toward the three boys at the Slytherin table. She glanced over her shoulder at her friends then stepped forward with a smile. "Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. A Gryffindor. You all are?"

Miley walked away and sat down just watching Ginny talk like she was special to everyone.

"Oh, uh.. Hi." Embry really hadn't noticed her get up, and was cursing himself for it, he hated not seeing people.
"I'm Embry, Embry Call." he said to the redhead who'd just approached.

Lavender smiled at Hermione,a little.She still liked her Won-Won and she wanted him back,but he was with Hermione now,which didnt please her in the slightest,but there you go.She smiled and inched her way over to Ginny.Lavender came up behind Ginny and grabbed her,making her jump from fright."Hi Ginny.."she said,smiling at her,she looked at the three boys sat behind her,she turned around and gave them a nice smile."Hello.."she said,being nice and friendly

Ginny smiled politely. "Nice to meet you Embry. Enjoying Hogwarts so far?" she asked she tentavly sat down. Ready to bolt if Malfoy sowed up. She really didn't want to deal with him. Ginny jumped when someone grabbed her shoulders. She gave a small "Eeek" then turned and saw Lavendar. Ginny smiled and said "Hey Lavendar! How are you this morning?" She then looked across the room and saw Miley. She waved and motioned for her to come over.
