Draco turned to face Jacey and raised an eyebrow. "Would you be able to date someone that clingy?" he asked her, knowing that TJ felt the same way. Thinking of his friend, he shot a small glare at him. He was hoping that he would take a hint and leave, but he knew that wouldn't be so. He turned his attention back to Jacey. "If she hasn't gotten the hint that 'it's over' then she should get some giant reading glasses...maybe they would take away from her nose a little bit," he said thoughtfully. "In fact, she tried to date TJ once, but he quickly shooed her off," he said with a chuckle.

Cathy finally reached the base of the ladder up to the owlry. Panting, she quickly began to climb. Once she reached the top, she breathed deeply. There was a sudden flutter as her own owl, Artimis, flew over and landed on her shoulder. "Hey sweetie, have you seen Harry?" she asked. The owl hooted and bobbed her head, then flew into another part of the owlry to land on Harry's shoulder. Cathy followed and smiled when she saw her friend. "You make friends easily," she teased.

Harry jumped slightly and turned around to see Cathy, he smiled, "Hey what's up? I figured you'd be with Jace."

Jacey groaned, "Ew. why anyone would want to date TJ is way beyond me." she said in a quite disgusted voice

Tj mimicked Jacey's words with a high pitched whisper. "Bloody Davidson." he murmered.

Cathy smiled. "Well I would, but she had stuff to take care of..." she said, knowing the subject of Malfoy would be a painful one at that point in time. "So...how are you feeling?" she asked him, taking a seat on one of the benches that were randomly in the owlry. She had made sure no droppings were on it first, of course.

Draco smiled. "He's not as bad as you think he is," he said with a sigh. "Just think, you and I have never had a civil conversation...and look at the way we're talking now," he said with a shrug. "You may actually be able to stand him if you give him a try," he said to her. He glanced at TJ and saw him making faces. Then again, some things even magic won't be able to help... he thought to himself.

Ooc: Do you want me to play Shannon? The girl who liked TJ?

Cathy looked at Harry as he sat down next to her. "I don't blame you for being confused," she said softly. "But you're not going to lose her. No matter what, you two will stay close. Also, this dare is just for a week, I tend to doubt that Malfoy will change her mind that quickly. You just can't push her away," she advised. "If you do, it will tarnish your friendship...and end up becoming something that you can't get over," she said quietly. She looked at Harry, then glanced at the floor, not sure where this all came from.

Draco nodded. "Friends are the foundations on which we rely on," he said quietly. "Although, never tell TJ that, because he might get a big head," he said with a grin. Draco nodded. "TJ and I work together well, as you may see later. We have our differences, but we always manage to pull through," he said with a grin.

Cathy resisted the urge to pull away from Harry, and wondered why there was suddenly heat in her cheeks. She was glad the room wasn't too bright, otherwise Harry would have noticed. "Well, I honestly don't know," she told him. "Sometimes, there is a whole other side to a person, that you just never get to see...I would tend to doubt it because he's never shown that to us in the past seven years we've known him," she told him. "I hope that eases your mind...and if it doesn't, you know I'm always here to listen," she told him, looking up to meet his eyes and smiling. She glanced down and noticed the letter he still held. "Do you want to borrow Artimis?" she asked, offering her owl.

Draco shrugged. "You've never given me the chance to reveal the "sane" part of me as you describe it. Its always been constant insults," he said with a shrug. "So, I choose to respond, since none of you would believe I was truley Malfoy if I hadn't," he said with a grin. "As for revealing it only to you...you've actually accepted the dare and have followed me into a random place in the woods. The least I can do is act civil," he teased with a grin.

Ooc: I have to go...two jobs tomorrow!

Harry smiled, "Sure, that would be great." he said, glad that they had had their talk, but for some unknown reason, his cheeks burned with redness. why? he asked himself as he shrugged it off, recovering immediatly, had Cathy made him feel the way that Jacey does?

Jacey laughed, "Well, when you put it that way, it seems i am the insane one here." she said, thinking of how she never would have followed him anywhere under any other circumstances, "But you do know that i am doing this dare simply because it is a dare, and not because i am harboring some kind of secret love for you, and dont even think about passing that along to any of your friends." she added quickly, standing up and walking over to him.

Draco shrugged. "I figured as much...but sometimes feelings can change," he said with a small smile. "You never know how you will feel...or even how I will feel at the end of this week," he told her. As JAcey stood, Draco shook his head. "How would I benefit from telling my friends that? They would think I was losing my touch," he joked. He stood and stretched his legs quickly. "So, anything else on your mind?" he asked her.

Cathy smiled and turned to look into the rest of the owlry. Just as she did, she saw Artimis, and the owl flew over. "Would you do me a favor and fly this letter for Harry?" she asked her. The owl hooted softly and nodded. She then hopped over to Harry and held her foot out to him. She shook her head, silently laughing at the owl's antics. Inside, she was secretly harboring hundreds of questions.

Cathy looked at Harry right in the eye. "I really don't know," she told him, shaking her head. "I left her down at the lake, and I know she wanted to talk to him and set things right, but I don't know whether she's found him or not," she told him quietly. She looked up at him, wondering what was going on in his head.

Draco shrugged. "You just look like you have something on your mind. You haven't been able to sit still since we've got here," he said to her, having noticed her shuffling and fidgiting.

Cathy looked at Harry. "I guess so...where do you want to go?" she asked, standing up. Artimis hooted, and Cathy smiled. "Oh, you may want to send your letter first though," she said with a small laugh.

Draco looked at her. "If I truely didn't care, we wouldn't be here having this conversation, and I wouldn't have asked the question in the first place. So, obviously, I care," he reasoned with a small smile. "I just want you to know, you don't have to tell me, but it is your choice, and yours alone," he told her, sitting back down on his rock.

Ooc: I have to go after this post...

Cathy laughed. Artimis took the letter and then flew out of the owlry, headed to a new destination. Cathy turned back to Harry. "She really wanted to get out...I haven't been able to write a letter yet," she said with a smile. "So, where did you want to go...if you still want to go for the walk," she said to him.

Draco looked down at Jacey, surprised at how serious she was. He met her eyes squarely. "I promise I will never tell a soul, living or dead," he said to her. He resisted the urge to look up at Tj to make sure he would do the same. Jacey would have noticed if he had done so. "What's on your mind?" he asked her, getting the feeling that this was serious.

Draco felt his normal sneer creep onto his face. "Of course it is..." he said quietly. He looked away for a second and then turned back to face Jacey. "Do you love him?" he asked her, raising an eyebrow.

Cathy smiled at Harry. "Sounds like a plan....anything on your mind?" she asked him.

Cathy laughed. "I know the feeling...boys always seem to throw us off as well," she said, looking at him. "I think fighting Dark Wizards is a lot easier than asking a boy out," she said, laughing. "But what about Jacey?" she asked, after her laughter had died down.

Draco stared at Jacey. Not love him? But they had beem together for so long...he thought to himself, totally shocked. He blinked, finally realizing he had been staring. "D-Does anyone else know?" he asked her, raising an eyebrow. "I just can't believe it...you two have been an item for...for years! What made you change your mind?" he asked her, still shocked by the news.

Hermione sat herself down on an empty table in the library. She pulled onto the table 'hogwarts a history' and began to read it. Although she must have read it like 10 times already. She sighed and began to tap on the table.

Harry smiled, "I have known Jacey a long time, we were really best friends for years, it was just really easy to slid into a real relationship with her, because we were already so close." he admitted.He had never told anyone that before.

Jacey shook her head, "Well, I never really loved him like that. I guess I just had it confused for a while." she wasnt sure what else to say about it, she looked up at draco with wide eyes, "Not a soul knows besides me and you now, you won't say anything will you? I mean I know you don't care about Harry's feelings, and you might not care about mine, but I'm asking you as a personal favor." She stood up quickly, now realizing who she had been talking to. "Oh God, what have I done?" she thought, starting to frak out a little.

Ron walked up behind Hermione and put his hands over her eyes "Guess who."

Tj smirrked as he tried not tot laugh, Davidson was making a fool of herself, and the best part was he was there to watch.

Hermione jumped as she felt ron's hands covering her eyes,"Oh i dont have a clue" She lied.

Cathy smiled. "You guys have always been close..." she said with a smile. "We all have been..." she said with a sigh. "You know, it really wasn't a shock to me when you two got together," she said with a laugh. "And it really was only a little different from when you two were just friends," she said with a smile. "So...do you think you love her?" she asked quietly.

Draco turned his head, to face the ground. "Wow...I really don't know what to say," he said, voice soft. He turned to face her and met her squarly in the eyes. "I will not tell a soul," he told her seriously. "Wait, no one else knows? Not even...who's that girl that you seemed to be attached at the hip to? Oh, Catty...no, Cathy...she doesn't even know this?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. On the inside, he was slightly pleased, but he didn't let that show. "Look..." he held out his hands for her to take. "I would never try to hurt you, I promise you that now," he told her, not caring whether she actually took his hands or not. He knew that this was from the bottom of his heart.

Cathy jumped as he heard something from Jacey. "What's wrong? Is everything okay?" she asked, wondering what Jacey had done to make her feel that bad.

Ron sighed through a smirk as he say down beside her, "And everyone thinks you are the smart one." he teased, rolling his eyes.

Harry thought for a moment, and then smiled, "Yeah, I do love her, I always have," he answered, suddenly realizing that he had never told Jacey that he loved her, he wondered, did she love him too?


Jacey stopped rambling and looked at him, suprised. She saw him reach out his hand, put didn't take it, instead, she walked closer and gave him a tight hug, feeling a bit weird that she was hugging Malfoy, but she didn't care. "Thanks Draco." she said into his shirt.

Tj could not belive what he had just seen, and he knew what he had to do with it, keep Davidson and Draco apart for good. Very quietly he stood up and walked back to the castle, headed straight for Pasny Parkinson

Jacey had forgotten about the mind link that she had with Cathy, "Don't worry, I'm okay. Did you talk to Harry?" she asked.
