Olivia shrugged "Anything you want." she flipped through the channels, "Let's see, Spongebob, Gilmore Girls, CSI, American Idol, Charmed, Smallville, Will and Grace..." she looked at him and raised an eyebrow, "Any of those catch your interest?" she asked. |
Draco laughed, "Well.. since i have no idea what any of them are about. Why don't you pick one? Since you seem to know them all." |
Olivia smiled, "Well, let's watch CSI, it is my favorite." she said with a laugh, she clicked the remote and brought the tv to the channel CSI was on. Settling back into the couch, she folded her arms across her chest and looked at the tv intently. |
Draco glanced down at Olivia then back at the TV screen. He slid down, put his feet up on the table infront of him, and put his hands behind his head, which was now resting on the back of the couch. The show was deffinately interesting, it was a muggle show, no doubt. But it was good all the same. |

Olivia smiled to herself, she had already seen this episode of CSI and she wasnt really paying attention to it, what she was thinking about was the fact that they would have to learn to use all of those muggle contraptions, that wouldnt be so easy. She let out a soft sigh and tilted her head to the side, suddenly feeling tired. |
Draco was getting into this show, it was really good. He would never admit it, but he did. He heard a small sigh from Olivia, and he turned and looked at her. "What's the matter?"He asked, wanting an escape from the show, he was getting to into it. |
Olivia jumped a little when she heard Draco ask her what was wrong, she had to fight to keep from smiling, why was he asking, could it be that maybe he wasn't the jerk she had thought? She shook her head, "Nothing, it's just been a long day." she said with a small smile |
Draco noticed her fighting to keep from smiling. Reacting to the instinct of preserving his 'image' he shrugged. "You can go to bed if you want. I am able to turn of the tele-whatever by myself. No one is stopping you." |
Olivia shook her head, just when she thought he had decided to care for once, he acted like a bloddy idiot. She stood up and walked out without a word, silently charming the tv to stay on until she herself turned it off. When she reached her room, she sat down on her bed and conjoured up herself a plasma screen tv like the one she had at home and started to watch Gilmore Girls. |
Draco rolled his eyes as she stomped out of the room. Drama Queen. Then, suddenly sick of the stupid show, he reached for the 'remote' and pressed the button labled power. It didn't turn off, he tried again, and it still didn't turn off. She had magicked it to stay on, likely until she turned it off herself. He could undo the charm himself, it was a completely basic one, but Draco decided to just play along. He found a button with an up arrow that said "volume" next to it, and smirking he turned it up as far as it would go, and then charmed it to stay up, until it was turned off, making sure she couldn't just undo the charm like he had been tempted to. Satisfied he walked out of the room, hands over his ears until he got into his room. With a smirk he reached under his bed, pulled out his firebolt and began to polish it. He would really miss riding it.. it would be a long long time before he could take it out again. He sighed and lay back against the pillows. |
Olivia rolled her eyes and flicked her wand to make her room soun proof, she smirked ro herself as she leaned back into the pillows, a picture of her and her best friend at Hogwarts catching her eye, she suddenly felt very homesick. Maybe if she ran away from this stupid place, she could go live with Isabelle, she thought, entrtaining the thought as she watched the remainder of the show. |
Draco sighed. He really didn't want to be here. It was miserable. Although, if he admitted it to himself- one of the reasons he was miserable was Olivia. Maybe he should at least try to be tolerant toward her. Not necessarily nice, but just enough to keep things bareable. He yawned and shrugged sitting up, he changed out of his clothes, pulling his shirt over his head and changing into his pj's. He didn't bother to shut the door- olivia was to stubborn to come out and turn off the TV, so he was as good as alone. Draco climbed into bed and waved his wand, turning off the lights. Then he lay there waiting for sleep to over take him- with out any luck. He was wide awake. ooc: Should we make it the next day soon? |
ooc: we are going to start the first day with Draco and Olivia starting school.... Olivia woke up early the next morning, she was quite anxious to get the new day started. She took an hour long shower, mostly to wake her up, seeing as she was by no means a morning person. She walked out of her bathroom and with a flick of her wand, she was dressed and ready to go. She picked up her bag and headed downstairs, into the kitchen, where she flicked her wand again and started the coffee maker. Sitting at the island, she tapped her finger on her lips and wondered what she was in for today. Liam decided to get to school early, he was already behind schedule. He had had no luck finding that Kenning girl yesterday, and if he did not find her soon, his Master would not be pleased. He apparated into the school grounds with a soft pop, and sat down under a tree that had a nice view of the parking lot. |
Draco woke up to the sound of the shower going in the bathroom next to his. It sounded like Olivia had finally turned the TV off, because he couldn't hear it anymore. He layed in bed for awhile, and then grogily rolled out. Not bothering to get dressed he walked down the stairs into the kitchen. He nodded to her, stretching as he went over to the cupboards. Opening them up he found some cereal and poored himself a bowl. They didn't spark or change color like magic cereal did, but he was too tired to care about anything much at all. |
"Morning." Olivia sai as Draco walked into the kitchen. She poured herself some coffee and sipped it quietly. "Did you turn the tv off?" she asked, wondering why it wasnt still running. |
Draco mumbled a good morning and dragged the coffee pot over and poored a cup. Taking a sip, he shook his head. "Nope." He never talked much in the morning. He would be more awake after the coffee. |
Olivia looked around the kitchen, if he didn't do it, and she didnt do it, then who did? She nodded and finished her coffee. She was really bored. She hoped that for ever how long she had to stay, it wouldn't be so dull. She got up and went back to her room, looking in the mirror, she fixed her makeup. |
Draco finished his coffee, and finally feeling awake walked back upstairs. He went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Then he got dressed and walked back into his room. He was looking around his room and then realized something, "Olivia! Would you come in here for a second??" he called out the door. |
Olivia jumped at the sound of his voice in the hallway and dropped her lip gloss, placing her hand over her heart and took a deep breath, before walking out of her room and into his, she leaned against the door frame and raised an eyebrow "Whats up?" she asked, wondering what he needed, and what made him actually want to ask her. |
Draco walked to the door and leaned against the frame like Olivia was doing. "What are we supposed to bring? I mean, did your dad get us stuff for school? We must have to take something." He held out his hands in a i-have-no-idea kind of gesture. |
Olivia smiled, "Everything you need is in your book bag already." she said, walking to his closet and pulling out the black and green book bag, she handed it to his with a smile, "When do you want to leave?" she asked. |
Draco smiled greatfully and took the bookbag. She could be decent when she wasn't being a drama queen. He shrugged, "It doesn't matter to me. Although I'm still not great at the whole driving thing, so we might want to leave soon. Are you ready?" |
Olivia nodded, "Yup." she said, "Just let me get my bag." she said, she walked out of his bedroom and into her own, grabbed her bag off of the bed and walked back into the hallway. "I'm ready!!" She called, bounding down the stairs and getting a water bottle out of the fridge. |
Draco watched Olivia walk into her room and then started down the stairs. He grabbed a water, stuffed it into his bag, and then grabbed the keys off the counter. "You can go first." he said polietly. He had no idea where that came from. ooc: What kind of car should they have? that could be fun... |
