The Grandz family has a large summer cottage that they like to stay in. This summer they invited friends over and of course family troubles arise again as a new cousin arrives that was an old affair. The mother is also pregnant with another man's child. But who's is it?

Hello Honey he sighed.Sounds good he took the bowl and began to eat.So have got an owl from the girls yet dear.I got one last week but i think we should intive my brother and sister in law over.

"The girls are coming this evening!" Holly told her husband

Shane just smiled okay cool.I've missed they should be here he smiled.

Holly smiled gently at her son.
"Yes Dale you may have some but please do not burn yourself!" She warned giving her eldest son some soup.
"Have you seen Heath anywhere? He always off running around or flirting with girls!" Holly chuckled to herself. Dale was like her and Heath was like his father

If I said I did I'd be lying, Dale told his mother right before digging in to some really great soup. When he thought about it he hadn't seen his brother since the night before and he had to admit that he became curious as to why. He looked up at his mother's reminiscent smile and became even more curious, what's got you so happy mom? His mother was a happy person all round but that didn't mean that she had to be smiling so much in one morning while he tried to scarf down some food. It was a little creepy...

"Oh It's something I found out this morning. Don't tell your father yet it's a surprise. But I'm going to have another baby." Holly beamed hoping her son would be just as happy as she was. There was a problem though, but Holly was not going to tell anybody just yet.

Dale blinked twice, nearly joking on the soup. What had his mother just said? She was joking right...? Surely she thought she had enough children. With one more on the way there would no doubt be less attention for him. How was that even fair. Call him selfish but he was a guy who enjoyed his fair share of the attention in the family...maybe even a bit more.

The excited look on his mother's face told him that she was waiting on a response. His forced himself to swallow everything that was in his mouth then he looked up at her again. Well *coughs* I don't know how I feel about that... he almost felt confused by the news, but you have my word, I won't mention it to him. Slowly he rose from the table, I think I migth have lost my appetite so if you'll excuse me I'm going to find my brother...it--it was good soup though...

Holly's smile fell and she just stared dumbfounded at her eldest son.
"Thank you for your word." She mumbled tears threatening to fall from her blue eyes.
"I'll just clean up this mess." She said mostly to herself as her son left the table to find her other son. Five children, that was quite a lot but she would just have more things to love. Maybe she should have not told him. Holly sighed to herself thinking of when Dale was a little baby in her arms. He was so old now. How could that be? Holly smiled to herself again hoping her new baby would be a boy and also wondering where her other son, Heath, was.

Dale had a feeling that he had more than likely hurt his mother's feelings with his response but he just being honest. He really didn't know how to respond to news like that...maybe he should have just pretended to be happy, that would probably have put a smile on her face instead of the tears that he just happened to catch right before he turned to leave. He sighed, hopefully she'd be back to her nice cheerful self by later. For now he would focus on finding his brother. He couldn't have been very far away....he would have told him before making any kind of big trip...

Avery ran into her large house smelling tomato soup and warm bread. She laughed glad to finally home after her big trip. But where were her brothers and twin sister? She walked further into the home and spotted her oldest brother.
"Dale!" She cried and rushed into his outstretched arms. He smelled like old spice and food.... like home.
"How have you been!" She asked still holding her arms around his long neck.

Keeping out of trouble, like I promised. He said with a wide smile and a wink. The sudden sight of one of his little sisters dragged him out of the storm in his mind. For a moment seeing her made him forget what his mother had said to him while he was trying to enjoy his tomato soup. Did she mean that he shouldn't have told his siblings as well? He got it if she didn't want her husband knowing but something like that could have really affected them--really affected him...great he was thinking selfishly again. In an attempt to set his thoughts straight he shook his head clear then continued engaging his sister in her little home again shine. Can I hope you've been doing the same? He asked, raising his eyebrow at her questioningly.
