Dances, Animagi and Flustered Werewolves

Welcome to the re-vamped version of an old RP of mine, whose title hence deludes me. Whatever it was, it was something like it's updated edition, as seen below:

Title: Dances, Animagi and Flustered Werewolves

Setting: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Time Frame: The Marauders' Fifth Year

Plot line: It's a stressful time of year. No sooner have three of the Marauders finally conquered their Animagus transformations they are whisked away into long, gruelling dance lessons--as punishment for their previously un-challenged 'crimes'. So, whilst James, Sirius and Peter dance the hours away, a 15 year old Remus is left with masses of his--and their homework; along with the duty of preparing Animagi timetables and such; avoiding a beautiful and shy fifth year from asking him out (even though his friends insist that he should be asking her out already!); refusing to attend the ball like it's the plague and only Remus out of his four friends actually knows how to dance--which means that he's left with holding dance lessons for students of any year who wishes to attend thrice every week; being the consultant to a weirdly lovestruck Peter; hooking up James and Lily unsuccessfully; confiding in a little-too-willing-to-listen Lily, which in turns serves to make James jealous; keeping all Sirius' many girlfriends at bay (there's way too many!); trying not to collapse from exhaustion or go prematurely insane; keeping James and Sirius from murdering Severus after he successfully (something James has not yet achieved) asked Lily to the ball; and lastly (and ultimately most importantly), keeping his secret of being a werewolf from all suspecting or unsuspecting ears of all ages--and worrying about the ball which is unpredictably either on a full moon night or just before or just after--because no one seems to know what to do anymore...

In other terms: A pretty average year so far.

Sirius Black ~ Vladislaus

Lily Evans ~ Kate Monaghan

Severus Snape ~ LonelyLupin (me--because I enjoy playing him and I have a specific idea of what I want him to be like at this time--the Mudblood calling thing still happened, by the way)

Peter Pettigrew ~ LonelyLupin (me... Because Peter's popularity is usually pratically Z-I-L-C-H... Therefore I'm probably the only one who'd play him--but if there's someone who wants to before we start then be my guest! [Just ask me first!])

Valentine Twilight (The shy and beautiful fifth year Ravenclaw who fancies Remus) ~ Maya Ellwood

Trixie Empast (An energetic, lively Hufflepuff who is the first of Sirius' three girlfriends) ~ baybgal6735

Penelope Shore (A posh, neat Ravenclaw who is close friends with Valentine and is the second of Sirius' three girlfriends) ~ obsession8888

Yasmin Winters (A cute, smallish Gryffindor who dotes on Sirius and is the third and last of Sirius' girlfriends) ~ baybgal6735

Nancy Rogers (Peter's crush and a generally little-speaking girl. Secretly likes Peter as well but already has a boyfriend in another school) ~ x-HermioneGranger-x

The above Original Characters (from Valentine down), all need a fully detailed bio. The canon characters also need a bio, but no picture is needed for the Canons if you cannot find one. Please stick to the vague above info of the original characters. Suggestions for the plot and/or characters are gratefully welcomed.

Note: General characters like teachers can be controlled by everyone as long as we're sensible and not like 'McGonagall [sp?] turned James into a squirrel in demonstration to the class of Transfiguration; he had no choice in this matter', or whatever might happen. If anything like that does happen, or if you guys prefer, I'll control the teachers or if someone whose online regularly would like to as well as/instead of another character--be my guest!

Please be online enough to post at least two or three times a week, accordingly. Please don't type one-liners, and it'd be nice if you could spell reasonably well and not 'lke ths'. Spell/grammar check if you're really unsure! Apart from that--enjoy your time RPing!

Ps. If you wish to be a made-up not on the list please tell me. But it'd be nice to fill up the above slots beforehand if possible. Any problems: PM me. I don't bite! Once we have everyone I'll post first, and we'll start either in the morning of a Summer day in Hogwarts or during/after breakfast.

I'll edit this post to include Remus and Severus' bios if this thread is accepted.

The school nurse looked around completely shocked that two young girls had just burst into the Hospital Wind. "Hey, get, get out of here! You shouldnt be here!" She said shooing them away with her hands.
Dumbledore didnt take his eyes off of Remus as the girls came in.
James jumped from his seat, scared for his friend for two reasons. First, that Remus was somehow wolflike and it wasnt the full moon... Second, he was frightened that his secret would be discovered; something that Remus had tried so hard to keep from people for thses last 5 years. Remus hadnt even told the Marauders! They had figured it out.
James sort of shifted infront of his sitting friend and Dumbledore to hide there figures from the girls.
"Hey, he's fine! Ill give you an update soon!" James said in his best happy voice, giving them a bright smile.

She squeaked and turned (if possible) even paler and her bottom lip trembled. She wasn't sure what to do but just to break down bawling, and she did NOT want to do that.

Valentine wasn't swayed easily. She turned several different colors (white, grey, paler, pink) and broke down crying, collapsing on the ground, shaking from crying so hard.

James jumped as he heard Remus beside him shuffleing. A piece of parchment was stuck to cheek where he had layed his head on the nightstand.
James chuckled to himself as he pulled it off and looked down at his friend. He heard Dumbledore talking to the school nurse about nargles or something when he heard more motion from Remus.
James was about to wake him when Remus yelled and sat up. There was a glazed glow over his eyes as he looked around the room as if he couldnt see it. James looked around at the Professor, looking frightened.
Dumbledore ran over, and even with his old age he ran pretty quickly! He put his hands over Remus's shoulders. There was a wolf-like look in his eyes.
"Remus. Remus Lupin. Do you hear me?" Dumbledore said a little too clamly.

ooc-Again, I didnt know what to put!! lol

A voice... A low, calm voice. A voice breaking through the confusion. But only just. Only... Just.

"H-Headmaster? Am I...? I..." Remus was cut off by the shrill interruption of two Ravenclaw females.

I can smell them... Why...? Why can I... I...

Remus Lupin shook his head wildly, closing his eyes and then letting them effectively 'blink' open.

His intriguing, pale gray eyes locked with Professor Dumbledore's.

"Headmaster?!?" Remus took a small moment to get a grip on his situation. Then, without another word he swung his legs over the bed and got up.

"Mr. Lupin! What do you think you're doing!? I haven't dismissed you in the terms of good health yet!" Madam Pomfrey cried, watching Remus as he attempted to leave his sick bed.

Remus heard Madam Pomfrey's words and smiled reassuringly at her. "It's okay..." He gasped, throat suddenly dry.

He poured himself a small glass of water from the bedside and gulped it quickly, before shoving himself uneasily off the bed.

"James... I'm okay now..." Remus moved next to James and smiled half-heartily... He still felt slightly dizzy and nauseous, and therefore did not fully register the two Ravenclaws who stood worried beside James.

That was until, of course, he realised that one of them had just broken into tears, collapsed to the floor, and started shaking in the extent of their emotional outburst.

"H-hey!" Remus stammered in surprise, sliding to the floor beside the girl, who he somehow recognised as Valentine Twilight... That girl who his friends kept going on about!

No time to think about that now, she looks really troubled!

"Valentine...? Sssh, now... What's wrong? Valentine?" Remus spoke gently and placed a hopefully reassuring hand on one of hers, using the other to part any hair that had stuck to the wet streaks of tears that were running down her face.

"Are you okay...?" Remus half-smiled, blushing a little. He wasn't good at this sort of thing.

The sudden thought that she could take the hand-on-hand thing a little the wrong way struck him suddenly, so he slowly replaced his hands back onto his lap and sat before her, a concerned look etched onto his tired facial features.

Valentine couldn't control it. It was just this really emotional outbreak and she had broken down and it was just - ugh. She wiped a couple warm tears off her cheeks and flushed instinctively when Remus touched her. "I'm... Okay... Sorta..." She mumbled, attempting to get up and failing miserably. His gaze was making her totally flustered. She cleared off a couple strands of her hair, tucking them behind her ears, her twilight blue eyes looking a little less blue, more like grey at the moment.

She attempted to get up again, but again, failed miserably. Remus could really make her flustered.

Penelope glared at James. There was no way she was budging from this spot until she found out how Remus was for her friend. Not even if it did cost her housepoints. I mean, how angry could her house mates get? The girl got most of them for the Ravvie house! "We're not leav-." She stopped short, in mid-sentence. Valentine had just started to cry. "Oh no!" The blonde girl muttered as she turned to see her friend, collapse to the floor in tears. Making her way over there, she immediately withdrew. What was this?!

Remus Lupin had forced himself out of bed and had gone over to Valentine. Watching them, the Ravenclaw's mouth dropped open. She couldn't believe what was going on right now. Knowing that she shouldn't be too happy that this was the reason why they were talking, she couldn't help but smirk a little.

James could be sympathetic, but, to be honest he was slightly annoyed with the situation going on infront of him. Two girls that Remus and himself didnt even hardly know come barging in on them when, first of all they shouldnt have, end of story, and second, its none of their business! They dont need to know all the details of Remus's life, what was their connection to him, what made them think they could be apart? Then one of the girls began crying while the other was showing attitude. Why was she crying? Yeah, it was freaky that this was happening, but she hardly knows him….Though James wouldn’t voice these things… well actually he would, but not this time.
Then suddenly Remus got up, and he started walking around.
“Remus, mate, you okay?” He asked, thinking this was odd behavior for someone who had just seemed a little wolfish ten seconds before. But, James was happy his friend was okay!
Then James watched as he went and comforted the crying girl. James, of course, couldn’t help but smirk slightly at this. Remus had never been one to “comfort” a girl...

ooc- lol! Okay, just a reminder, Im not insulting you guys, the actual RPers! Im just acting the character! Just wanted to make sure you knew that!!

"Are... Are you sure? I mean, well... Uh, you looked rather... Distressed. To say the least..." Remus' cheeks flushed a deep scarlet.

"I'm... Uhm... Not really helping, am I?" He pondered rhetorically.

"Ouch..." Remus massaged his forehead lightly with the tips of his right fingers. A mind-splitting headache was thundering through his skull, and for a moment he was blinded by the excruciating pain... And then it was over.

"James..." He winced, squinting to see him through the slightly lessened pain.

"I'm fine, really... I jus--" Remus inhaled sharply and bit his lip, almost making it bleed.

"--Just need some... Rest..." Like a snake, the pain slyly slithered along various parts of him as he stood. His left fist clenched so that his nails dug into his palm so as to distract him from what he was feeling, he extended his right hand out to Valentine in case she needed some help to get to her feet herself.

ooc--Okay... Well, I don't know if I can apologize enough for effectively deserting you wonderful peeps for goodness knows how long I've been absent. To be brief, this is my reason--Over the past month or so, I've been preoccupied without several important exams, etc, and preparations at school for my next term, which is my pre-GCSE term (waa); and because of that I have, unfortunately, been able to return to Snitchseeker... But I hope that will change, for I'll very likely be using the computer a lot soon, so I hope I see you peeps around... And on this thread...? Hopefully...?

Remus was acting weird again! James walked quickley up to him and helped him and Valentine up, then he streered Remus over to his bed. "Remus, you need to stay in bed and get better, or these girls could be in danger!" James whispered frantically in his friends ear as they reached hi bed. He definately didnt want to play the "Your putting people in danger card" because he knew that Remus was always worried about hurting someone, but he really was beggining to worry about the safety of Remus himself, and these nosey girls.
