Video: J.K. Rowling, Deathly Hallows 2 cast & crew say goodbye at London premiere
For those who were unable to watch the live stream of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 world premiere in London this morning, it is currently be rebroadcast via Warner Bros and YouTube. Of the nearly four-hour show, the highlight was undoubtedly at the end, where author J.K. Rowling, stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, producers David Heyman and David Barron, and director David Yates said their heartfelt goodbyes to the series, their characters and each other, and of course, a huge thank you to the fans.
The clip is about 20 minutes long, where the cast, crew, and head of Warner Bros discussed their part in the series. Do note that by the time Emma Watson comes to give her speech, everyone gets quite emotional, and when Rupert began to say his goodbyes and declare his love to Dan and Emma, everyone on stage was in tears. The final person to speak was of course J.K. Rowling, who thanked the fans, cast, and crew from the bottom of her heart, and said, at the end, "Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
Thank you for posting these i couldnt seem to find them anywhere else when i looked this morning. This was so sad, i was nearly crying, i don't want to say goodbye to Harry Potter just yet
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
This made me tear up so badly!!! It so sad miserable to think that in just a couple of days in the states these movies will finally be finished, but J.K. Rowling was completely right when she said that we whether we return by pages or by the big screen Hogwarts will always welcome us home.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I wish i was there...i wish i was there...i wish i was there
This is amazing, and emotional. Very much so because this is the first time i've been emotional about the films ending. aaaaaah. I love Emma for being Emma. Her defence of Dan was very cute and very true I think. And you can tell by his reaction that it really meant a lot. I love Dan too of course. "Thank you for giving me a job" lol. AW AND RUPERT :'( I can't believe he cried and everything. Yay for the gingers and all the David's of course were briliant and i thank you Steve Kloves as well, who I believe is a briliant script writer.
And Jo. I love Jo. She nearly made me cry aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.......... THANK YOU!!!
What were the people chantting in the background during her speech?
Was crying as I watched this. Like most of you, I have been in this fandom for a long time and to see the films end...T_T But thank you Jo for saying we will always be welcome whether we go back by page or cinema. Thank you are not strong enough words as Rupert said, but that's all I can say for now - Thank you Jo, for making all our lives more magical because of HP.
And I don't know if this is the right place to say it, but Snitchseeker - a BIG thank you for being the home of Potterheads like me all through the years.
This is probably the saddest thing I've ever watched. The whole time it seemed like Emma had been holding back the tears. And Jo, naturally the same. It all comes down to her brilliant mind.

Ugh, I actually cried.
Yay for the big 7!

There will never be words enough to express my thanks to Jo. She is my hero and an inspiration and she has given me some of the best memories I will ever have over the last 14 years.
I love her stories and her for writing them with all my heart.
(and just to echo Tonks26' thoughts...Thank you Snitchseeker. I've been here for nearly 8 years and I have never even considered going anywhere else for Harry Potter news and friends.)
When I'm 80 years old and sitting in my rocking chair, I'll be reading Harry Potter.
And my family will say to me: "After all this time?"
And I will say: "Always."
