Video: J.K. Rowling, Deathly Hallows 2 cast & crew say goodbye at London premiere
For those who were unable to watch the live stream of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 world premiere in London this morning, it is currently be rebroadcast via Warner Bros and YouTube. Of the nearly four-hour show, the highlight was undoubtedly at the end, where author J.K. Rowling, stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, producers David Heyman and David Barron, and director David Yates said their heartfelt goodbyes to the series, their characters and each other, and of course, a huge thank you to the fans.
The clip is about 20 minutes long, where the cast, crew, and head of Warner Bros discussed their part in the series. Do note that by the time Emma Watson comes to give her speech, everyone gets quite emotional, and when Rupert began to say his goodbyes and declare his love to Dan and Emma, everyone on stage was in tears. The final person to speak was of course J.K. Rowling, who thanked the fans, cast, and crew from the bottom of her heart, and said, at the end, "Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
When i saw that..I just broke down to tears...I mean i'm still sobbing right now...And seeing everyone in tears resulted to bring much more to my own eyes
I was so moved by the speech of Jo Rowling, but the thing that moved me the most was when I saw Emma crying I mean it literally broke my heart
I just want you to know guys..It's been my childhood and I want you to know that I love you soooooooooo much that I can't even describe it...I'll never forget you...never :'( We may have said goodbye to Harry Potter But it'll remain to our hearts FOREVER
Hogwarts is my home :')

I was there and it was amazing! It rained really heavily during the day but luckily the sun came out just before the premiere started.
The atmosphere was great and both the cast and the fans seemed to be very emotional as it really seemed to hit everyone that this is the last premiere and last film ever. There were lots of tears...
Oh god I don't seem to get over the crying now, there are no words right now :'( But I think you people understand better than anybody...

I just can't believe this journey is coming to an end. I still remember how exited I was when the first film came out, I remember that the day I went to see it I had my robe and wand ready along with my HP Book, it was all I wanted to see over and over again.. and now, 10 years later, the journey is coming to its end, along with all the memories I hold dear in my heart.
First, Emma came, and her sincere emotions just flourished and made us shed a tear, at how close the trio was with Queen Rowling and the HP Books. Oh, and when I saw JO speaking, she was pouring her heart out to us, she was very emotional, her speech was very moving that brought me to tears. Because of her we are now able to talk about HarryPotter, take a joy while reading the books, watch the films, and get crazy about Magic. Thanks JO for creating that WORLD!
And Yes, Hogwarts is my HOME! and will always be a Home to those that in their hearts hold that Magic that belief in the Wizard Boy of the cupboard under the stairs..
When I saw them crying,I just couldn't.....It was so emotional, and when I saw Emma crying, she made me cry. Hogwarts will always be my home! HP forever!♥
Oh gosh,I am such a wimp. That was really sweet, what all of them said. That was the saddest 20 minutes of my life, or well until July 15.i will always go back to Hogwarts,"Gotta get back to Hogwarts, gotta get back to SCHOOL!"

This was absolutly the bestt part to watch I cried a little, knowing that it was over but, the storys will live on with me and other people forever. :*(
This really killed me. I sobbed and blubbered throughout the whole speech- starting with David Heymen. I flooded the room when Emma started as well. Goodness! I'm crying now just thinking about it.
But, I'm glad they shared this "goodbye" with us. It really helped my Harry Potter heart.
Thank you, J.K. Rowling, for this life you gave to all us Harry Potter fans.
I was crying my eyes out. I can not believe it has been 10 years for these movies. Watching that audition tape is amazing and to see how mature and wonderful the trio have become is fantastic.
Rupert and Emma got me really choked up and Dan well what can you say. He is so articulate.
It was great that they thanked everyone and especially took time to see the fans and sign autographs and such. That is why they have such a loyal fan base. They care about the people who pay to see there work.
I remember calling off work to go see the movie by myself one day when the first film came out and I was hooked. I was reading the books and when I saw how close they came to the book I was amazed.
I wish they would have had Chris Columbus out there since he started the ball rolling.
Thank you Dan, Emma and Rupert and the entire cast and crew of Harry Potter for 10/11 wonderful years of fun and fantasy.

Watching the premiere just made me sad, and finally, after holding it in for months, I just cried. Not to hard but just cried. It just came to me that it's really ending and it makes me so sad....farewell, Harry Potter. Thank you so much for bringing so much magic into my life
If I had been watching this last week, I would have been a weeping mess on the floor of my room! I love how Rupert managed to squeeze in some comedy to try and cheer up the girls - and of course, the moment that finally got Dan teary eyed with the "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
Wow, there are no words to describe how amazing this was. When Emma started crying I could feel the lump forming in my throat. These books and movies have changed so many lives and affected so many people. I just came home from spending 4 hours talking about Harry Potter with a girl who's 2 years younger than I! That enough shows how powerful this series is, that it can bring people of all ages and types together. I've been saying it for a while now and love that Dan and even Jo have echoed the thought: Harry Potter will never truly be over. As long as we have the books, the movies, and the story in our hearts, the tale of a young wizard with glasses and an oddly shaped scar will live on forever. So, if everyone could join me in saying LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!!!!
