SnitchSeeker, in association with Insight Editions and Entertainment Marketing Group, are proud to present a sweepstakes marked with the upcoming release of Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Book. We will be giving members and readers of the site the chance to win a copy of the upcoming book Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Book, as well as the grand prize of a set of four tickets to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL, and a $1000 gift card for travel/lodging/expenses to the site.

To be eligible for the contest, entrants must be 13 years or older by November 14, 2010 (minors must have their parents or guardian's permission to participate) residing in the continental United States (48 states excluding Alaska and Hawaii). You may only enter the sweepstakes ONCE.

The prizes are as follows:

ONE grand prize:

FIVE second prize winners:
One copy of Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Book.

With five main pops, side pops, and interactive features, the book takes readers on a grand tour of the Harry Potter™ world, themes or spreads include: Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, Magical Creatures, Magical Sports and Games, and The Dark Arts featuring original artwork by Andrew Williamson, the concept artist for all eight Harry Potter™ movies. See Nagini uncoil on the page, witness Harry face the Hungarian Horntail dragon, open Ronʼs Howler, peek at Hedwig in her cage, and enjoy the many other recreations of the world of the Harry Potter™ films.

The full rules and restrictions can be read here. All SnitchSeeker staff are ineligible, as are their immediate families and house/roommates. Everyone residing outside of the continental United States are also ineligible.

For more information as to why restrictions have been set up, please read the news forum rules and guidelines clearly. Please do not use this thread to complain about regional restrictions; members will be penalised for not following rules. If we notice that entrants are tampering or abusing the sweepstakes in any way, it is to our discretion to void any dubious submissions.

The contest will run from now until 11:59pm EST on Thursday, November 4, 2010. We will have another reminder post towards the end of the contest for those who have yet to participate. Winners of the sweepstakes will be notified a day or two after the contest's end; after they are initially contacted, they will have SEVEN days in which to respond, or risk forfeiture from the competition. Entrants have the option of either being contacted by email or phone; for more information on that, please see the sweepstakes page.

I totally entered right away. Too bad my brother won't be able to do it though.

If only he were born a year earlier.

The book looks interesting even if you don't get the grand prize. So much color...I'm already drawn to it.

I might need to pre-order that soon enough.

It will when winners get chosen. We're not giving prizes to minors who don't have their parents' or guardians' permissions, and we'll know who has and hasn't.

It would be nice to have UK fans enter though.

I do not know if this is the right area to ask question about the contest? I was reading the full rules and restrictions. I pretty much got it all except one which i did not understand what that means. Could someone explain that in laymans terms? Thx!

Basically means that if you're using some shady way of participating (hacking or something), then yeah, you'll be disqualified. Just fill out the form (if you're eligible), and you're good to go.
