In a new interview with the New York Post online, Richard Griffiths, who portrays Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter films, has spoken about how kids react to him, as well mentioning the young lead actors. Quote:
The trouble with being a regular in the Harry Potter movies is that "you can't go anywhere without being bothered by kids," grumbles Richard Griffiths, who plays Harry's mean Uncle Vernon in one of the most popular movie franchises of all time. Fortunately, Griffiths adds, "Vernon is the most unsympathetic character, so the kids expect me to be horrible. And who am I to disoblige them? I mean, I love kids, but I couldn't eat a whole one."

The way he speaks, I have a feeling he’s kind of bitter inside about kids expecting him to horrible. *sighs*  I love Richard, and I find his acting amazing. He makes the perfect Vernon Dursley, and he is a terrific person. I hope he gets a bigger part in the Seventh Movie, which obviously means that – in order for this to be done – Jo will simply to give Vernon Dursely a bigger part in the seveth book, and give him some time to confess to harry that he was jealous of Harry all along, and did N-O-T hate him.
