| | | Ralph Fiennes: "I love Voldemort."
In a recent interview with The New York Times Magazine, Ralph Fiennes briefly discussed his role as Voldemore in ' Goblet of Fire'. Quote:
'At first, it wasn't scary enough,' Fiennes said. 'They had to fix my lack of nose. And I was helped by lots of shadows -- that increased the menace. So much of movie acting is in the lighting. And in loving your characters. I try to know them, and with that intimacy comes love. And now, I love Voldemort.'"
Manohla Dargis, a New York Times movie reviewer, also suggests Ralph Fiennes for a Best Supporting Actor gong at the Oscars for his role as the Dark Lord.
Additionally, Ralph also appeared on Inside the Actor's Studio on Bravo yesterday and briefly discussed his role in the fourth Potter film once more. The entire Potter-related transcript can be read here. Quote: JL: Was it difficult acting behind it, or . . . RF: No, not at all. I mean, it was my own scalp with no hair, some pieces here (indicating his brow) to take out the eyebrows, some horrible teeth I put in, um, and the rest was just paint (indicating his hands and arms) . . . transfer . . . they painted, made me very pale and they made these brilliant transfers which they just sponged on every day. JL: Has Harry Potter brought you a new audience, do you think? RF: I never understood the phenomenon of it until I went to the premiere here. I've never seen anything like that.

I love this moment two! You can see Harry take the decison to face him in his face and movements. Best moment in film.
Ralph uses his body to show the characters character. I love it when he walks in GOF for the first time and laughts it is just great!
I knew he would love Voldy. He and him are suited!
I have a question do you think they will get Chirstain (the guy who played him in Chamber) back to do book six as Bald Voldy is not really in it?
or will they use Ralph? Who are they going to get to play 11 year old Voldy?
Ralph is contracted for book five!
I do not think he is contracted for 6 or 7 yet !
love the Ralph!

I think Ralph Fiennes did a great job for Voldemort, but that's only my opinion.
