| | | PoA Soundtrack receives Grammy Nomination
The Grammy Nominations for this year have been announced. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has received a nomination in the category of "Best Score Soundtrack Album from a Motion Picture, Televison, or Other Visual Media."
This particular score, which was composed by John Williams, faces competition from The Return of the King, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Big Fish, and Angels in America (which starred Emma Thompson who plays Professor Trelawney in PoA).
The Grammy's will be held and presented on February the 13th 2005 and will air on CBS at 8pm (EST).
Well deserved and long overdue congratulations goes out to our favourite composer, John Williams!

I love the soundtrack's music, with such a great composer it will win! (just take that weird-sad face out of the picture...& that's me playing Hedwig's Theme)

I like the PoA soundtrack... but I don't think it will beat Howard Shore's ROTK score... Shore did win an Oscar...

wow good for john, but i also really liked the big fish and the lotr soundtracks, all those composers conjured up music completely breathtaking while fitting absoulutely perfectly within the story.
arrgh i'm torn between the composers!! |
